Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. Hiya! The name's Voltaine, or The Voltagonist, but you can call me Voltti... or even just Volt! I've been wanting to get into a D&D group for some time now, as I've had on-and-off games that never really went anywhere long-term. I'm really wanting to invest myself into a game of sorts, have more chances to play and learn, and perhaps even make some new friends along the way. For systems I've played? D&D 5e is the one I have the most hours (500+) and experience in and am the most confident in playing, while I'm very much wanting to learn Fabula Ultima, so any chance opportunity to do so would be greatly appreciated and heartily accepted! I'm also very much new but willing to learn Pathfinder 2e, as well as any homebrew system based off it, or any of the previously mentioned for that matter. For themes and genres I'm okay with? Pretty much anything and everything, with almost nothing off the table; from cozy slice-of-life and goofy roleplay to genuinely dark, disturbing, and emotionally brutal themes, I'm game for anything... within reason, of course. As for overall preferences? I very much want to roleplay, immersing myself entirely into the character I bring to the table and the world they're a part of, as well as being able to engage with my fellow players as that character more than speaking above table as myself. I'd much rather play a character with a strong concept, personality, or aesthetic, as I'm not entirely fond of needing to min-max my way through the adventure. The only thing I'd directly ask of my fellow players and DM is to be patient with me, as I can be a little slow on the uptake thanks to mild autism, a bit loud/rowdy when I get excited or happy, a bit grumpy when inconveniences pile up, and I ask a lot of questions about things I'm unsure of. I'm in it to tell a good story, and all of those will serve well as the medium. I enjoy planning arcs with either the DM or other players. In the context of text based campaigns, I can post every day, and multiple times, so I'm very active. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi! I've been playing DnD both in person and oneline since about 2015, since my high school buddies decided it would be a fun group activity. Hey everybody, I'm Fenris_VII, though I go mostly by Fen. I'm an experienced player from Germany looking for a Starfinder 2E campaign to join. With the release of the Tech Core rulebook released, we finally have rules for ship combat and building, so I really want to get a nice crew together, go explore the galaxy and have great adventures! I'm usually available Fridays late-afternoon (around 5 PM CEST/CET) till Sunday evening (8 PM the latest start, to not run the risk of being half a zombie at work on Monday), with the very slim possibility, that I might have to dip out for a few minutes to an entire session, if I happen to be on call once every 2 or 3 months and something happens, that needs my attention at work. When it comes to platform I'm agnostic - I play just as likely on Roll20 as on Forge, though it has to be said that Forge has some of the best tech possible for playing TTRPGs online. I'm 39 years old right now (40 in just a few weeks) and have been an avid player of TTRPGs since I was 13. I played a lot of systems, from crunchy games like Shadowrun, to more freeform ones, I played mainstream with D&D and niche with games like King Arthur Pendragon, High Fantasy and Low Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Sci-Fantasy. My focus always has been on a healthy mix of rules and roles. What do I mean by that? One always informs the other - you cannot play the big tough paladin when your character is weak as a leaf in the wind. But you also cannot play a charming negotiator when your character trips over his words and makes enemies instead of friends when it comes to roll the dice. I build my characters - story, personality and game mechanics, around the role I take within the party and roleplay that role to whatever level the party is comfortable with. Got a roleplay heavy group? Ready to jump in and play it out too. Less roleplay heavy? Bummer but hey I can role with it and leave enough room for others to shine and not keep the party from pressing on if they want to. I have about half a year of experience with SF1e and several years by now of playing PF2e, so the system is easy for me to grasp and the setting somewhat familiar. I have also played similar games scenario wise - games like Star Wars FFG, Stars Without Number, and Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader, where you have a ship and basically the galaxy open to explore for you. My English is very advanced - I've been exposed to Canadian English when I was just 4, have been learning English since I was 5 and consume my media in English where I can and even stream on Twitch completely in English. So language barriers should be minimal to non-existing for me within any international group. I'm just as comfortable with playing a Tank, Damage-Dealer, Face or Support. All that matters to me is that I am free to come up with a cool character concept and get along with the party. Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7:30 pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. Most of my D&D experience at this point is with 5E, as I've been playing since the playtests, but I've got considerably less with 2024. Hello! I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for about 6 years, primarily 5e and SWRPG FFG. I’m looking to get into systems like Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, Draw Steel, Mutants & Masterminds, and Daggerheart. Lean towards fantasy, sci-fi, sci-fantasy, and superhero games, but I’m open to trying other settings. I tend to enjoy balanced games where combat is present, but roleplay, story, and character choices are just as prevelant. Character-driven campaigns, heroic adventuring, mysteries, investigations, political intrigue, and even kingdom-building all sound interesting to me. Character-wise, I tend to gravitate toward sword-and-sorcery types, shapeshifters, summoners, and pet/companion classes that are sarcastic, conflicted, or strong and stoic. I’m hoping to find a group that enjoys collaborative storytelling, is LGBT-friendly, and takes the game seriously enough for the story to mean something to everyone without losing the ability to joke and have fun. Hey, I'm looking for players interested in the rolplaying side over the combat side. I have some experience with dnd as a player, but I have more with GURPS(a truly wonderful system that more people should play)as a GM. I wouldn't call myself a complete expert at either though. I am a ttrpg player of 6 years. Mostly in dnd, but I have experience playing PF2E, Fabula Ultima and Thirsty Sword Lesbians. Additionally I have read up a bit on most if not all of the systems I'm interested in! I enjoy finding a specific vibe for my characters, like a fighting style, a specific backstory, an aesthetic etc. I then push a system to fulfil that vibe to it's fullest, committing entirely to that bit, even to the character's detriment at times. I am also an avid heroforge user and deeply enjoy making heroforge models of all the pcs! When actually playing I try my best to use my character not just to their own end, but also to try my best within my characters personality, to empower other players. My fatal flaw is definitely my attention span, I am distracted very easiily, something I have been working to mitigate for a while, but that I'm not sure I'll ever fully ditch. I am looking for a Saturday game that starts no later than 12am GMT (yes I know thats technically thursday xD). I also have little preference for the system.

We both have a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted.
