30M. I've played D&D for about three years, but I'm currently not interested in playing that right now. My current interest is Cyberpunk RED. I have nearly two years GMing and have played one session as a player. If a GM is needed to host a game, let me know. I'd like to sit around a table with a group that remembers 1e and 2e and the dangers characters faced. Character death was a real possibility. The DM's word was law. We shared an admiration for Tolkein, Moorcock, Vance, and Gygax. We could quote Aliens, Star Wars, Monty Python, and Highlander. Roleplaying was fun, but we didn't use it to work out our issues or use it as allegory for the real world. We used the game to escape into a fantasy. I've tried playing with younger fans of the hobby and the sessions seem to either try to emulate popular podcasts or it degenerates into a weird therapy session. I'm just an older dude looking to have fun with like-minded people, not be present for emotional meltdowns. I wish I didn't have to even specify that.

I'm pretty flexible on time outside of Wednesdays & Sundays, and super flexible about party roles. Would prefer a more traditional fantasy D&D setting, but I'm open to trying other stuff! I began playing Dungeons & Dragons in 1979, and knew even then that I would be a lifelong GM. TTRPGs have been a part of my life ever since, and have shaped who I am in so many ways—as a writer, reader, storyteller, history buff, and lover of mythology. Wherever I’ve lived and whatever I was doing, I’ve always been part of an active gaming group. I’ve played a number of different systems, including Call of Cthulhu, Traveler, Gamma World, Toon, Paranoia, GURPS, Vampire: The Masquerade, Daggerheart, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My two great loves in the TTRPG world are the Marvel Superheroes FASERIP game, and of course Dungeons & Dragons. These days, 5e is my primary focus. Even after all these years, I am continuously amazed by the power of TTRPGs. Gaming is a unique creative field of its own, a shared playground of the imagination in which we create stories and excitement together. I would love to be able to share the joy of gaming with more people.

Hey! I'm Josh, gay, 36, and I recently moved to NYC. I've played D&D a little bit before, but I'm still very much a newer player. I know the basics, but will have questions regarding some nuanced rules. I'm looking for a group that's cool with that and doesn't take things too seriously. I'm really drawn to the storytelling side of D&D. I love getting invested in characters, mysteries, weird worlds, plot twists, darker stories, and seeing where everything goes. I'm a huge horror and sci-fi fan, and generally love anything that's a little strange, creepy, funny, or completely unhinged. I'm also into fantasy, video games, board games, movies and TV! I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to the actual campaign. I'm happy to learn, try different character types, and work with the DM and the rest of the group rather than showing up with some elaborate character that absolutely has to fit into the campaign. I'm also not particularly interested in min/maxing or trying to "win". I mostly want to make a character and see what happens to them. Outside of D&D, I work in fashion/tech and spend a lot of my free time gaming, watching horror movies, going to the movies, checking out bars/restaurants, playing board games, or finding some new show to get obsessed with. I'm open to online or in-person games. For in-person I'm in Manhattan, but I don't mind traveling within NYC. I'd especially love to find a recurring group where everyone gets along and eventually becomes the kind of group that might grab drinks, play other games, see a movie, etc. outside of D&D too.

Hey, name's Jaythan (He/Him), my timezone is (EST), and I'm looking to join an online group as a player for Tom Bloom's TTRPG Cain. I've been curious about the game for a long time now and have read through the rulebook and its supplements/fan additions a couple of times at this point, but never had the opportunity to join a game. After watching a live play by Rolls of Engagement on YouTube, however, I finally feel motivated enough to find a group to play with! I'm pretty inexperienced as far as TTRPG's go (only played a single campaign of DnD), but am eager to gain more. In terms of game style I'm all for role play focused campaigns as long as there's still some combat sprinkled in, as i do enjoy engaging with a games systems as well. I don't have a camera to use on my main PC (I'm a camera shy anyways), but i do have a microphone and am willing to use one if its to the groups preference. I also am looking for a group that's LGBTQ+ friendly. In terms of availability, I'm good to play (at time of writing) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the morning/afternoon. Howdy ! I'm Nuage / aCozyCloud, a frenchie who loves art, stories and gaming. Aside from silly completely made up games in my teenage years, I haven't played much TTRPGs. I've been trying to get a campaign going with various friend groups for years to no avail - school, work, kids, life, I'm willing to bet many on this site know the song. Since I lack experience I am pretty much down to try anything, including one-shots ! I have a preference for fantasy settings but can fall in love with any world that has been crafted with care and attention. I like roleplay (though I'm not a great actor by any means), I love storytelling, and I'm hoping to find a nice group I can make great memories with. Though I'm still a beginner, I know what I do not enjoy : completely combat focused gameplay, dungeon crawlers without a compelling narrative drive and extremely rigid players / GMs. I love staying in character and settling into the story's stakes, but I want to be able to make a few above table jokes without earning myself anyone's ire. Playing is supposed to be fun ! I would love to be part of a long-term campaign. My schedule is very flexible so playing with groups in other timezones can absolutely work !

Hello, I'm relatively new to Pathfinder 2e and I'm looking for a consistent group to play with. I live in the EST timezone and I'm pretty flexible with my schedule. I'm available from 5-10pm Monday through Thursday, after 5pm on Fridays, and all day Saturday. I played D&D 5e 2014 for around 7-8 years and I've also dabbled in D&D 3.5e, Starfinder, and the Fallout ttrpg. I've mostly played in person and rather than virtually. I'm very willing to learn and have some light experience with Foundry VTT. I have a solid computer to to handle most programs along with a good quality mic. As a player I perfer RP over combat but I still enjoy combat. also am willing to fill any roles a party needs. I am a bit reserved at first so I might start out a bit quiet the first couple of sessions. I'm interested in a wide variety of themes and plots, but I would like a comedic tone the most. Since I'm still new to the system I will need rules help from time to time but I'm confident I can keep up for the most part.

Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. For the most part, I am available on evenings (except Monday nights). I prefer bi-weekly sessions, though I can accommodate weekly if needed.

Hey, looking for a regular 5e game on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I'm EST and afternoons/night are usually best. I've been playing for a few years, mostly 2014 5e, with a little 2024 mixed in. I'm pretty familiar with the system and character creation, so I can pretty much take care of myself there. I've played just about everything at this point martials, casters, support, etc. and don't really have a specific character I'm set on playing. If the party needs something, I'm happy to fill the gap. I'm also pretty flexible on the kind of game. Serious story, goofy stuff, lots of combat, whatever. As long as people are actually showing up and everyone gets along, I'm down. Don't really care what VTT you use either. Roll20, Foundry, whatever works. I've got discord for voice. I love litrpg audio books and actual play dnd podcasts. The rileplay and improv needed is funny and engaging. Especially in thebhardcore or permanent death games. Playing in the space and having fun with it in addition to battling it out is a great balance. New to actually playing outside of video games.

Forever GM here looking to become a player. I would like to play a game that is roleplay and combat focused. I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). Sunday, Tuesdays and Wendesdays are out of the question as they are my days that are always full, but I have flexible days other days. I am a travel photographer who has turned to a corporate portrait photographer. I love telling stories of people and places. I like taking that story telling to my table.

I care as much about a clever build or a well-timed spell as I do about the roleplay moment it sets up, and I'm always here for lore that rewards curiosity: faction politics, forgotten history, that one NPC you didn't expect to care about. Comfortable with 5e and open to other systems. Usually play, sometimes DM. I'm in the CET timezone, so evenings are my sweet spot. Hey, I'm a 31 year old lining in the heart of Germany and looking for my first DnD Group (which is way harder then I thought...) I have some PnP experience in other games like DSA, Call of Cthulhu and Midgard and either like to play or gm the group.
