Life is serious enough for me, so I'm looking for a campaign where we can fool around, spend a bunch of time RPing, and have fun absolutely decimating our enemies in combat. I have a few years of experience playing DnD 5e 2014 and homebrew PbtA. My current campaign is DnD 5e 2014 and I am open to learning other systems. I also LARP every once in a while. I'm okay with the campaign being mainly theatre of the mind and don't have an issue trying a non-Roll20 VTT. Seeking adventurers to join a campaign beginning at level 1 in the Forgotten Realms setting. It will begin with a module called Tomb of Annihilation, which should take the party from level one to level 11 or more. At that point we can begin a new campaign with your level 11 characters if we want. But that will be a long time from now. Maybe a year. The game might be slow at first as I figure things out. And I intend for it to be a survival challenge. Variant encumbrance will be tracked. Exhaustion level and daily weather will be tracked. You will be toiling in the jungles of Chult in the year of 1490 DR.  The game will be "theater of the mind" style, relying on spoken descriptions rather than visuals. I may end up using a shared website to show battle layouts. But I haven't decided yet. Character creation rules are PHB+1.

I enjoy roleplay very much, but I tend to play characters that are closer to extensions of myself. I also enjoy playing powerful characters and having a positive effect on the world around me. Some have said that I like to play "mary sues" or "power fantasies"; i find these terms somewhat derogatory, and I think that characters with a static arc can be just as interesting as positive or negative arcs. For instance: Paddington Bear does not have a character arc. He has zero moments of self doubt, even though he has flaws. However, most people consider the paddington movies good: this is because it's about how paddington inspires and uplifts those around him. Combined with the realization that flaws in one circumstance can be boons in another (and vice versa), i think a static arc can fit well into a character-focused campaign. I am fine with sharing the spotlight and working with the rest of the party, though I sometimes struggle with that due to autism and ADHD impacting my perception of social situations. Lately I've been trying to actively encourage myself to help the party using 5e bard-like mechanics focused on helping other players with skill checks. I can't promise that I'm a perfect player, but I can promise that I'm always trying my best to be fair and kind to others while also getting my own needs met. If you don't agree with my stance on static arcs, we probably aren't a good fit for each other. Also, as a result of my characters being extensions of myself, my politics often bleed through in my actions in the game world. I'm a raging socialist, and so my actions oriented around making the game world a better place will follow that philosophy.

I'm a player that loves seamlessly inhabiting a fantasy world. Making setting-specific characters is always a fun challenge, and in my opinion, the best way to really ground a character. I like doing voices for my characters and I'd be lieing if I didn't say that sometimes I make a characters' personality a certain way to fit the specific voice I can pull off. Dialogue and interacting with other players is probably one of my favorite things in DnD. Most of the times my characters are serious, but that doesn't mean that funny things can't happen. I want to have a good time at a table with friends. Even though I gravitate towards role-playing I don't dislike combat. I try to make characters in line with the rest of the party so as to keep things fun for everyone, and I always make sure to keep my turns fast. My 2-year campaign skipping around Aurelia just wrapped up—sadly, a few of our crew got swallowed by the scheduling conflicts dragon. But hey, their loss is your win! 😁 I’m officially free to join your table! Even though I’m old enough to have played the original game, I only really jumped in back in early 2022. Since then, I’ve become an outside-the-box thinker and a very active roleplayer—I love digging into character motivations and bringing scenes to life. I relish the thought of writing my 300 word bio and having a qwerk the DM can play with (Last character was a foodie and actually ate a goblin to make friends). My play style leans lighthearted; I’m usually the jokester at the table, but I know exactly when to straighten up and fly right. I’m big on collaboration, always willing to adapt to others’ needs, and I really value that same energy in return. I tend to gravitate toward spellcasters, but I recently stretched my legs with a Goliath Barbarian for a one-shot and had an absolute blast. I've played Aurelia, Curse of Strahd, Wild by the Witchlight, The Lost Mine of Phandelver, and am currently playing Princes of the Apocalypse... So, open to anything else. I'd prefer to be in a mature group, take that as you may, I've met immature 60 yo folks... I'm Central Florida USA time. I'm available M-T-W-Th between hours of 6pm - midnight. I have experience using Discord, DnDBeyond and Foundry.

Hello! My name is Kit, they/them pronouns; I'm a 38-year-old TTRPG enthusiast looking to branch out and get to play some games other than D&D for a change! I've been roleplaying for about 20 years, and while I'm brand new to some of the games I'm looking for, I've gotten be in a few Monster of the Week games over the past few years. I'm mostly looking to join a group that's cool with doing a collaborative homebrew. Something where I can pepper in some ideas to be used for worldbuilding and see how the world develops from there. I mostly play a snarky, smartmouth character, but I'm looking to mostly find ways to invest my character in the heart of the world itself. I use DNDBeyond for my character sheets, Rule 20 for VTT, and Discord for communication (strong preference on voice). If anyone's got a group like that, hit me up. I love gothic horror, high fantasy, steampunk, and cosmic horror themes so if you've got a way to bring all of that together, then you'll have a loyal player out of me.

I originally played dnd with an old friend group of mine a couple years ago but it wasn’t very fun and ended when i came out as trans (male to female). After agonising years of seeing dnd campaigns come up on ever social media platform I’m finally ready to play again (more like a need to play again 😂😂).  Im available at pretty much any time but I prefer to play between 5pm onwards GMT that is. What I’m looking for: Classic dnd. I’m most familiar with 5e and have never played a character before so this will be my first time. I am familiar with how to play a character though. I want your traditional adventures find themselves in a pickle and end up saving the world somehow. I like a mixture of fun and seriousness and the plot has to be narratively driven. I’ve never done an online campaign before so someone will have to teach me the ropes with whatever software we may use for combat but I’m fine if most of the RP is done over discord. I’m open to hombrew stuff as well so long as it still sticks to that original fantasy vibe I mentioned above. As the title says, I'm looking for a Pathfinder 2e game. I've never played it, but I'm looking to get into it since I've taken an interest in the system. I'm in the EST timezone, and my available times are Fridays from 5pm to 11pm, Saturdays from 9am to 6pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. A bit about me, I'm a guy who got hooked on the Baldur's Gate 3 bandwagon which introduced many folks to DnD 5e. I've played TTRPGs for roughly 2 years, and I have experience in both versions of DnD 5e and Sentinel Comics. I've been a player for my whole TTRPG career, but I aspire to one day DM myself. Personally, I like drawing and games such as PEAK, Terraria, Destiny 2, and others. I prefer games with a balance between roleplay/exploration and combat. I'd like if character backstories are relevant to the game in some way, mostly through plotlines and quests. Again, I've never played, so I'd also like a group that's welcoming and willing to help me learn how to play.

Hi I'm Evan and i'm slightly new to the pathfinder 2e system being a player/dm mostly in dnd 5e, but i have taken a liking to the system of 2e and want to gain more experience in it. I am willing to learn if there is anything i don't know. I love High in-depth story telling and rp with both characters and NPCs. I love seeing characters grow thru-out adventures and overcome their struggles, to the point i normally give my characters true phobias and things that weaken them. I would prefer tables with around 4 players or less. I am fine with almost anything in games except S/A, at table Racism(IRL)/Sexism/Anti LGTBQ+ stuff, Slavery(Not that it exists in worlds... more like it being labeled a good thing), overly gratuitous violence(like no issues with normal stuff, just avoid eye/throat trauma stuff, or just going way to far), . I am fine with Romantic rp, but i won't participate nor want to be involved with sexual rp. Random Trivia about me: Been mostly stuck dm'ing for years, with most of my games being anime inspired/based as i am a massive anime fan.(based as in, the game happens in the world with the plot of the show just not happening or taken and used in my own ways). I don't really have a fav anime, but Re;zero, Steins;Gate, Mushishi, Natsume's book of friends and Made in Abyss would be up there, though i am weak to romance in general.

I'm hoping to find a group to join, or a GM and several others for a game, weekly or bi-weekly. Here's some info: Time: 8pm GMT+1/CET Possible days weekly: Wednesday or Thursday Possible days bi-weekly: Friday, Saturday, Sunday* (*will be able to do weekly Sundays starting next year) System: I'm fairly open due to my tight schedule but I'm primarily looking to join a group for some Mecha TTRPG. I own a number I have either rarely or never played but would really like to play, namely Aether Nexus, Armour Astir, Lancer, and Mechwarrior Destiny (huge BT fan). I'd be interested in other systems like Mecha Hack or Beamsaber, but I don't yet own those rulebooks or have read the rules. Obviously I would get the rules and read them to join a group. Other than that I'd also be very interested in playing Fabula Ultima again (played around 10 sessions), Sword World 2.5 (played once and a bit solo) or the Cowboy Bebop TTRPG (only GMed once). I've been a roleplayer in different forms (TTRPG, Forums, MMOs...) for about 25 years now, so have plenty of experience and prefer roleplaying, storytelling and serious worldbuilding over beer and pretzel and meme play. As a player, I always try to create characters that fit the setting and provide the GM with hooks from my characters' padt to use for the game. I wouldn't be averse to taking up the GM mantle down the road, or playing GMless altogether as well (I have plenty experience with that), I'm just having my hands full with two games I'm running. Also, English is my second language, so I'm talking with an accent, but own a proper mic.
