The Cosmere Roleplaying Game

Step into a universe of adventure and Investiture!

We wanted this system in the library before we had time to write it properly, so consider this entry a placeholder. If you've got hours logged with it, we'd love your help turning this into something worth reading - reach out.

Overview

The Cosmere Roleplaying Game is an officially licensed tabletop RPG based on Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere universe - the shared setting behind The Stormlight Archive, Mistborn, and a dozen other series - designed by Andrew Fischer and published by Brotherwise Games in partnership with Sanderson's own Dragonsteel Entertainment. Announced in late 2023, its August 2024 Kickstarter raised over $15 million, making it not just the most-funded tabletop RPG in the platform's history but the most-funded tabletop game of any kind. The first campaign setting, covering Roshar from The Stormlight Archive, released digitally in mid-2025 and in print that October; a second setting covering Scadrial from Mistborn is planned for 2026, with more of the Cosmere expected to follow as Sanderson's novels do.

Your path to Radiance begins here! An Honorblade, the legendary weapon of a Herald, has disappeared. Journey across Roshar to pursue a corrupted Radiant, recover the stolen Blade, and oppose the forces of Odium! This campaign-length adventure for the Cosmere® Roleplaying Game takes characters from 1st to 8th level. Along the way, characters must seek fallen Heralds, survive the Everstorm, and choose whether to swear Radiant oaths. Created in close partnership with Brandon Sanderson and Dan Wells, the story of Stonewalkers™ reveals new secrets about the history of the Stormlight™ setting. IMPORTANT: I GM by Rule of Cool (RoC) not Rules as Written (RaW). I like to keep the tone casual, welcoming, and accepting of the player's needs. I do what makes sense for the game and use the rules as a framework structure, not the law. Additionally, this is the first time that I will have ran the campaign, which is why I'm doing it at a discounted rate. Anyone who signs up should be prepared for everyone involved to be going through the learning process and the occasional retcon. I have all the materials and am constantly studying them but do not yet have them committed to memory. I feel full disclosure of this fact is important up front to ensure I do right by anyone who signs up. In short, you should be ready for me to occasionally mess up (often hilariously) but when I do I make it right in the players favor. You should be ready for a casual fun time, not a strictly by the book adherence to the rules and the source material. Lastly, I have not read the Stormlight series of novels. I picked this up because it sounded like a good time and it wasn't until after that I understood it's origin. I'm working my way through Brandon Sandersons works at present but have yet to catch up with the current timeline in which Stonewalkers is set, which is as the Source book describes during the year of the global war that follows the events of Oathbringer in the True Desolation era. The campaign is $10 per session per person.  There is currently no set end date.

Hi there,  I am looking for a pen and paper group meeting around Antwerp or Mechelen in person on weekday evenings. As my Dutch is not very good, I would appreciate an English speaking round. Playstyle: immersion and fun at the table for everyone are key for me Let me know if you have a free seat or want to found a new group. Cheers, Martin

Dice roller
Rollful is a hosted dice-rolling API. It rolls dice over HTTP: a request carries a formula, and Rollful parses it, rolls each die through a cryptographically secure generator, and returns every die it rolled rather than only the total. It is not tied to any game system. It knows what 4d6kh3 means and nothing about what the caller uses it for, so it suits a virtual tabletop, a character sheet, a Discord bot, or anything else that needs a roll it can show the working for. The formula grammar covers flat modifiers, advantage and disadvantage, keeping the highest or lowest dice, exploding and penetrating dice, multipliers, several terms in one roll, and tags. The response lists every die with a flag saying which ones counted, so an interface can show the die a keep rule dropped instead of hiding it. A GET request handles a plain formula. POST adds bonuses and tags, and a batch endpoint takes up to 20 rolls in one request. Every response and error has the same documented shape, described by an OpenAPI 3.1 document. There is no account and no API key. Usage is rate limited rather than metered. The homepage carries a form for rolling dice straight from the browser. Rollful is powered by the OpenDice npm package, which is free to use directly in any JavaScript or TypeScript project.

Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game (DCC RPG or simply DCC) is a role-playing game published by Goodman Games in 2012. The game is famous for its chaotic magic, bizarre dice, and its distinct artwork. DCC RPG is a fast-paced, open-feeling rules set allowing for epic game experiences without unnecessary tethers. It uses modern game-play while paying homage to the origins of role-playing and the fun that it inspired. While it is an ongoing argument, DCC can be considered an OSR game. The system it directly evolved from is Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition (2000). Description You’re no hero. You’re an adventurer: a reaver, a cutpurse, a heathen-slayer, a tight-lipped warlock guarding long-dead secrets. You seek gold and glory, winning it with sword and spell, caked in the blood and filth of the weak, the dark, the demons, and the vanquished. There are treasures to be won deep underneath, and you shall have them. System Overview & Key Features The Level Zero Funnel Instead of carefully crafting a single hero, each player generates three or four completely random level zero peasants. You run this mob through a deadly introductory dungeon. The few survivors who manage to escape earn their first class level and become your actual player characters. The Dice Chain The game uses a set of unusual dice alongside the standard setup. These include a d3, d5, d7, d14, d16, d24, and d30. Instead of applying static mathematical penalties or bonuses, the Game Master might simply tell you to roll the next die up or down on the chain. Mighty Deeds of Arms Warriors and Dwarves do not have rigid skill trees or complex combat feats. Before any attack, they can declare a heroic maneuver, like blinding an enemy or sweeping their legs. They roll a Deed Die alongside their attack, and if the die rolls high enough, the maneuver succeeds dynamically. Roll to Cast Magic Magic is incredibly powerful but highly unpredictable. Wizards and Clerics must roll a spell check every time they cast. A high roll creates a massive, reality altering effect, while a low roll causes the spell to fail and potentially slip from the caster's mind for the rest of the day. Rollplay lets you build your own mobile character sheet for whatever you're running. Drag & drop to create a layout, setup your own attributes and dice formulas, create items and conditions that actually update stats when your players use them. No code. Share the game and your table plays it on their phones. If you just wanna play one of the existing games, you can try some of the character sheets already in the app. D&D5e, Nimble and others await you to create characters, homebrew weapons or share your creations. Rollplay is built around automation, so homebrewing something ambitious doesn't mean a spreadsheet full of manual math. Design a race, class, item, or a whole new system: set the rules once and let the app run them. Share it with your table, and your players don't have to learn your system to enjoy it; they just play, while your rules quietly do the work behind the scenes. It's the easiest way to make your homebrew feel as polished as anything official.  For Players Auto-Calculated Attributes Stats update automatically as you level up, equip gear, or gain new abilities. Automated Effects Items, classes, and conditions modify your stats on their own, and unwind cleanly when removed, even through deeply nested chains. Equipment & Inventory Equip and manage items in one place, with carry weight and currency tracked for you. 3D Dice Roller Roll skill checks and weapon hits with a single tap, with explosive dice, rerolls, and advanced roll mechanics. For Creators No-Code System Creation Build a complete custom game system: attributes, formulas, effects, dice, and content, no programming needed. Custom Rules Define your own attributes, dice pools, and formulas. Rename core concepts like Race or Ancestry to match your setting. Drag & Drop Sheet Builder Design your character sheet layout visually with modular building blocks. Share & Iterate Push your system to your players directly, with draft and published versions so you can update it without breaking their games.
