The system it directly evolved from is
Cyberpunk 2020
Description Players in the game are referred to as "Edgerunners". They are mercenaries, criminals, and specialists living in the metropolis of Night City. The games focus on completing jobs and surviving in a megacorporations and street gangs controlled society. As the global supply chain has collapsed, resources are scarce and players must often rely on black-market brokers, known as Fixers, to find their equipment, weapons, and armor. Cybernetic body modifications are a recurring topic in the game, with the emphasis on the risks of enhancing one's body and mind with. System Overview & Key Features
Core Dice Mechanic (Interlock System) The game uses a Interlock System. An action's success is determined with a a ten-sided die (d10) and adding the relevant Statistic and Skill rating. The total is compared against a Difficulty Value (DV).
Lifepath Generation When creating a character, the player can either roll or manually pick various options from the "Lifepath" tables. The choices made will define the character's cultural background, their family history, romantic relationships, and potential enemies. This is a built-in method of creating an immersive and entangled character backstory.
Roles and Special Abilities Characters are defined by their "Role," which is a the game's class system. Players have a choice between ten different roles: Solo (combat specialist), Netrunner (hacker), and Medtech (doctor). Every role has their unique Special Ability which gives them unique gameplay mechanics.
Combat and Armor Combat in Cyberpunk RED relies heavily on their body armor rather than high hit point totals. If an attack successfully penetrates a character's armor, the armor's defensive rating is permanently lowered by one point. This mechanic makes extended combat encounters dangerous and forces players to consider alternative approaches.
Netrunning The game's hacking rules require Netrunners to be physically close to the computer systems they want to breach. In the setting, the global internet was destroyed, meaning remote hacking is no longer possible.
Cyberware and Humanity Players can install cybernetic implants into their characters to gain new abilities or improve their stats. Every implant reduces a character's Humanity, which subsequently lowers their Empathy . If a character's Humanity reaches zero, they develop a condition called Cyberpsychosis. This generally results in the player permanently losing control of their character and no longer being able to play them.

ROTFRONT Survival-horror

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Survival horror, sci-fi  campaign based on the indie game "SIGNALIS" , played with  modified cp-red meccanics. [This table usses a slightly Faster PbP format , especially when It comes to in game conversations] ________________________________ You will find yourselves on the frozen moon of Rotfront, where the Hayades multi-function maintenance station has ceased communication with the outside world and things are taking a strange turn... all while a mysterious state of emergency is declared. In this campaign, you can choose from a wide range of roles based on the survival horror game "SIGNALIS"—a sci-fi communist dystopia featuring retrowave technology. Your characters can be either a Replika (a biomechanical construct based on a mental pattern) or a Gestalt—an ordinary and "free" Eusan citizen. GAMEPLAY: -Roleplay -Combat and scarce resources: Although most CP mechanics will be heavily overshadowed by resource scarcity, the campaign's survival horror mechanics ensure there is never a dull moment. This campaign may contain: gore, sexual/psychological themes, and—above all—cosmic horror; madness is not a matter of "if," but of "how much." (18+) The campaign's homebrew content includes: -Races and models (Gestalt, Replika) -Changes to cyberware compatibility -Addition of a new weapon type (carbine) -Buffs to automatic fire and SMGs; changes to certain rates of fire -Various exotic weapons -Buffs to certain cyberware -Bioresonance mechanics Billing: of course you will never be asked to pay to play or to continue playng, but donations are wellcome and help me keep putting all the effort i put on the games i run. (A lot, too much probably)

Societal Remangement (Cyberpunk Red)

Soon to be started campaign, currently have 4 players.  we will be making use of the new 2077 content so the game will be more in line with cyberpunk after Red rather then the more scarce resource game of red. More cash flying around but expensive products will still be hard to achieve. I as a gm like to think I do a good balance of Combat and rp. I have run games for over 10 years but have been wanting to get a good cyberpunk game running a some point since I enjoy the setting. The game will be played over the Forge vtt using Discord for voip.

Very interested in getting together a group to play cyberpunk, shadowrun, lancer, or perhaps starfinder. Any edition of any of these is fine with me, just looking for some good old dark sci fi gaming. I'd rather not gm but if push comes to shove I could be persuaded. I've been playing 5e for about 4 years and have only one session experience with lancer and with cyberpunk red, but I'm down for something crunchy and tactical. Hit me up :)

Cyberpunk Red/2020

Im looking for 2-4 players (21 or over)  for an in-person Cyberpunk Red or 2020 game. I took a hitus from ttrpgs, but prior I was a forever GM (adnd 2nd, somr dnd 3rd, shadowrun 3rd and 4th). Narrtive, story, and charector focused. Times and frequency can be ironed out once we get all the players together (ignore the irregular tag on game frequency, there wasnt a TBA tag) If interested shoot me a message with any questions you might have.

NoyVye
Greetings, my name is NoyVye, I'm an Italian engineer (21M) who's very much into Cyberpunk Lore, Games and Tabletop. I'm a gun-nut and mecha obsessed fan of franchises like Metal Gear Solid, Forever Winter and, of course, Mike Podsmith's Cyberpunk. I enjoy creative writing, drawing and sometimes voice acting (but I'm not professional XP). Looking for either: A group to play Cyberpunk with as a player, I don't mind how big or how small. A GM for a 1-on-1 solo game. A fellow GM to perhaps trade games with (though I'm not as enthusiastic about that as I have been forever GMing for a while.) Mandatory requirements: I do not like doing voice games, only PbP, furthermore I only interact with 18+ players/GMs. Minimal age requirement is 19+, but closer to my age (21) the better. Optional requirements (further things I am comfortable and would like to do, but not at all required and easily ignored): comfortable with NSFW themes and Ero play (keep in mind I am a M/Fb player with a Fem/Fb leaning, people to do Erotica with are very much preferred!!!), GM with a liking to combat. How to get in touch: DM me, always available. I prefer to use Discord.

Marlon
Hello, fellow gamers. My name is Marlon, but everyone calls me Jay-long story there that I won’t get into. Anyways, I’m the forever DM in my family, and I run weekly podcast games for my wife. We’ve designed a tabletop RPG called Prosperon: A Bio‑Cyberpunk RPG, and we’re actively looking for more playtesters. If that interests you, shoot me a message and we’ll make it happen. With that being said, I’m also an active player in several games. I’m currently in a Blades in the Dark campaign every Thursday, which is absolutely amazing, and I have a few open biweekly days where I can commit to another game-as long as it’s the right game, the right crew, and the right day and time. That’s all for now. Take care, and don’t forget-have fun at your table.

Salvage Union

TTRPG
Beginner-friendly
English
Salvage Union is a RPG set in a Post-Apoc world where MegaCorps rules pockets of civilization and nomads on giant 'Crawlers' comb the wastes for 'salvage'. Players are part of the 'Salvage Union', on one of these roaming Crawlers and deploy out in jury-rigged Mechs to collect salvage and investigate their ruined world. Description Playing Salvage Union means playing a crew of salvager mech pilots living aboard a massive, mobile home base called a Union Crawler, scavenging a corporate-ravaged wasteland for scrap to keep their community alive. Beyond raiders and rival scavengers, threats include monstrous Bio-Titans, alien Meld, and the Corpos who still control most of the world's remaining resources. Much of the game's appeal comes from its two-layered loop: narrative exploration and salvaging runs outside the mech, and tactical, resource-managed mech combat once things go loud, tied together by a deep crafting system that lets pilots build and refit their machines from scavenged parts between missions.

Update log - September 2026 "Support us"

As we step away from the summer months, we find ourselves more at our tables. Tables for playing and also working on features and fixes for Groupfinder. And there have been quite a few additions since our last Update log. We'll go over some of the bigger changes and additions. Supporters /images/general-media/1789388957_fqCygV2e.png Some of you may have noticed in the menu dropdown a little page called Subscribe. Worry not, this does not mean, that Groupfinder is going to be pay to use. No, far from it. We are sticking by what we have been saying since the start - Groupfinder will remain free to use. Becoming a subscriber is your way of supporting our ongoing work on the platform. To make sure the lights stay on, the servers buzzing and the licenses get paid, we have to make sure all those costs don't overwhelm us. What does it mean to be a subscriber? As a thank you, for your help and trust in us, your account will have some ease of life perks: Automatic bumping - you can set up automatic bumping for your posts, helping your post stay refreshed. Once you set it up, every 48 hours, the system will bump your post moving it back to the top of the listings. Customized notifications - want to only receive specific notifications and alerts for games and players in a specific region and game system? You can set your specific rules for custom alerts. Colour themes for your posts - Feel a little red? Green? blue? Customize your posts with the colour theme you prefer, make your post stand out with a little cosmetic tweak.  More cover pictures - Supporters will also find that they have access to a whole new set of cover images to choose from. If you are tired of the ones you have seen so far - you will find more from the selection we present the subscribers. Higher limits - If you have more than two games you are looking players for - you will be able to have up to six different active game posts at once. You will also be allowed to send more messages to new users every day. Attach files - perhaps your games have a world map you'd like to show off to make players more interested in it - you can add some files to your post and make it more informative. And various limit increases and customization options for Group Manager and for those who manage a library entry page. You can read more about the subscription here. And if you don't care about those perks - but you think we are doing a neat job - that can be your motivation as well. Messenger On desktop devices, you will find our messenger in the bottom right corner of the page, allowing you to chat with others in a more intuitive manner, just like you may be used to on various other platforms. We will continue to improve the messaging experience as we go forward, but we are very happy with the way it is now. Ofcourse you can continue using messenger, how it was before, as a full-page view. Tiles for Group Manager /images/general-media/1789389492_W7MfXXwR.png In addition to various improvements for the Group Manager, we are happy to announce tiles.  Tiles are small customizeable and editable dynamic elements, that you can add to your Group Manager dashboard to add various features to them.  Add images, spell, item, skill lookup searches, connect your notes to your Obsidian markdown files and keep them synced with what you have on your computer or just add a slideshow to set the mood for the game. Badges /images/general-media/1789389332_qdibSnHO.png Show off your activity and achievements on Groupfinder with the badges you have earned here. There are various ways to earn badges, some you get for reaching out to users on the platform, some you get for bumping. You may be considered a librarian, if you help us improve the library.  And with higher tier badges, you will also unlock unique perks (such as lower daily bumping cooldown, or additional unique cover images). Posts and listings We also took some time to optimize the filtering options on the posts pages. We added additional features to the search, and with that it slowly started getting out of hand. So it was time to take a step back and look at the whole listings filter as a whole and bring it all together, again. Many of these fixes and tweaks have been things you, the users, have asked for. Just like the option to also exclude tags from your search. Don't want to see games that have a "Horror" theme? Take it out and no spooky season for you. We admit that for some time the "Create a post" flow was.. messy. Again the same deal, as with filters - we added fields, elements, options and much more to it. But it resulted in the pages being overly cluttered and some fields may have been accidentally overlooked. Now the flows have been reworked and should make it a lot easier for you to create your player post or add your games to the listings. Also to all of our multilingual friends - you can now write your post description in multiple languages. I mean.. you could also before - but now it is more reasonably separated and structured. Those with a game post will also have access to more detailed analytics about your post. Knowing and understanding more about those, who open your post, can help you tweak and tailor your post in various ways. A more organized library /images/general-media/1789390627_QjshwGXo.png Don't you just hate it when your local library is a mess. Well ours was a bit messy - so we cleaned it up and made it make more sense. The new library home page now offers you a better overview of what is new, what is popular and which events are upcoming. Speaking of events - if you know of any upcoming tabletop events that might interest others - tell us about them and we'll try to get those added to the library as well. And much, much more In addition to all the topics we've covered here, there have been a vast amount of additional changes - not necessarily smaller and less important. We just have to keep these update logs at a reasonable length. If you have any feedback regarding these changes (or lack of an update you were hoping for) - do let us know. Either use the contact us form, or join our Discord server and let us know there. We are always happy to discuss and learn from you. Till next time.
