Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Because of this, I have a lot of ideas of classes I'd like to play, while I've only actually played a handful. My current idea is to try out sorcerer, but paladin and warlock are my favorites for sure. I also am fascinated by the Daggerheart system, so I'd love to try that as well.

Hello all. Been playing on and off since '78, mostly 3.5e but have been playing 5.5e for the last few years. Looking for~ Edition: 5.5e (could potentially be open for a modern day/cthulu horror campaign as well). Platform: Open (comfortable w/D&DB, Roll20, and Discord; have used AboveVTT once, haven't used but familiar w/FoundryVTT, never used Owlbear.) Day/Time: a Saturday evening game 6/7pm CST to 10/11pm CST. Frequency: Every other week. I am not a good fit for your game if you encourage or enable players being murder-hobos or "chaos goblinery" to excess. I am not looking for a Dungeon Crawler Carl experience. If you ignore your players anonymity because you think/feel something would be cooler/more fun for the PC because that's how you would play it, I'm not a good fit. As far as a player, I am a TEAM player (it's OUR story, not MY story). I don't believe in playing an evil character in a party, though a party of evil players is acceptable (90% of the time PCs trying to play evil in a mixed party always cause an issue). I'm a player that will ask you about your world and try to build a character that isn't anachronistic to your world or theme. I will build a background that provides you hooks to use as you wish. I will not play a character out of sync with their level (ie. a 1st level Bard is earning his stripes, not performing in front of a king). I believe RaW gives structure, RoC/PBTA/HB can give flavor and cinematic action AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T IMBALANCE THE SYSTEM. If none of this applies for your game(s) or play style, I respect that. I am not asking to be included in your game(s) because I want us all to enjoy what we like.

I'm a 40 year old man, and I really enjoy roleplaying and investing in characters. As far as character class and the like goes, I'm flexible. I'm just as happy playing a frontliner, ranged, spellcaster, support, team pet, as long as the character's fun. Otherwise, combat, exploring, dungeon delving, politicking, I enjoy such things being part of games. One thing I do prefer as far as characters go is I tend to gravitate towards less human-looking races. As far as experience goes, I've got about ten years worth of RPing, starting with D&D 5E (2014) and several other systems I've tried over the years on both sides of the DM screen. I've been playing TRPGs for 12 years, and running them for nearly as long. I'm very agreeable, generally try to keep things harmonious within the group. As for preferred playstyle, I love roleplay and exploration, but I get antsy if I go more than a few sessions without any significant action scenes. I work first shift, Monday-Friday, so I prefer weekend games. I'm ok with 18+ content, except for anything sexual. Sex is very much a "veil" for me, and sexual assault is a line. I also don't like religion-bashing (thoughtful themes and discussion are ok though).

Sometimes life throws a curveball at me, but I will always let the group know ahead of time if I can’t make a session or if something comes up. I’m neurodivergent and have some learning disabilities, which can occasionally affect gameplay a little. Sometimes I may need something repeated or need a little extra time to read or figure something out, but overall it’s not usually a major issue. I really enjoy roleplay-focused campaigns, even though I’m not great at character voices yet. I enjoy combat too, as long as it isn’t nonstop encounter after encounter after encounter. I’m also completely fine with games where characters can die if it makes sense for the story or situation. I always have way too many character ideas floating around in my head, so I’m happy to make someone new if needed. Hi there! I'm a relatively new DnD 5e player, and my name is Siani. I enjoy oneshots, story-heavy campaigns, roleplay heavy campaigns, and battle heavy campaigns. I like long lasting campaigns, level 1-20 and beyond. I prefer a weekly set game in voice and VTT. I do not like One-shoots or west march/living worlds. I prefer games like: 1. Sandboxes. 2. Hi there, my partner (28F) and I (27M) are currently searching for a long term DND group that focuses on a good balance between rp and combat, with a emphasis on its story and character driven plotlines and story arcs. We enjoy a collaborative setting for the overall plot of the campaign that weaves in our characters so they fit the world and make choices feel as if they truly matter and reflect upon the world around them. We enjoy both rp in-game and written and combat is seen as a fun challenge that shapes the characters as a whole. We are more experienced in the 2014 ruleset with bits and pieces of 2024 here and there, we are welcome to learning 2024 as a whole if need be. My partner has roughly 8 to 9 years of experience in the TTRPG world as both a player and a dm while I have roughly 2 years and still getting my footing. We do our own character art and steer away from ai. My partner favors the paladin and sorcerer classes but does play any that fits what the party may need, they do not shy away from being a face character or front line if it's what the party needs, while I tend to fill positions missing in the party composition, I'm still trying to figure out what class I like most. We are looking for a Friday or Sunday evening game. We are CST. We also do have a large majority of the books released on DND beyond and are willing to share content with the group if it is desired. What's up, I'm Grembo. I've been playing tabletops off and on for a little over ten years. I started with D&D 3.5, moved to 5e. Then did Pathfinder 2e, and Star Wars FFG (which is my personal favorite). I love a good combination of rp and mechanics/combat! Seeing how characters engage with each other, the plot, and their own personal stories is always the highlight of any campaign! But I also love to see the funny little guys throw out their funny little numbers. For builds, I do have a strong tendency to play tanks, as I love to take a hit for the team. And I love a big ass shield, it's chefs kiss if there's good shield mechanics in a game. For characters, I've got a variety of pre-existing brain barbies to choose from, but I can always make a new one if need be for a campaign! Most important of all, mutual respect and kindness in any group is a big priority. Being cruel or adversarial kind of goes against the collaborative point of the game, y'know?
