Fabula Ultima

We wanted this system in the library before we had time to write it properly, so consider this entry a placeholder. If you've got hours logged with it, we'd love your help turning this into something worth reading - reach out.

Overview

Fabula Ultima is a tabletop roleplaying game designed by Italian creator Emanuele Galletto and published by Need Games!, released first in Italian and then in an English edition in October 2022. It bills itself as a TTJRPG - a love letter to Japanese console RPGs like Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Dragon Quest.  Built by a designer who tried reskinning other systems to capture that feeling and, failing to find one that fit, wrote his own. The game found its audience fast, taking home the Gold ENNIE for Best Game and the Silver ENNIE for Product of the Year in 2023.

Adam
Hello! ^^ My name is Adam. I've been playing D&D for some time now, having both tried 5e and 5.5e, which I'm looking forward to playing! I don't mind slight homebrews on a mechanical level and I enjoy homebrewed worlds and scenery for a campaign a lot, instead of the usual presets or manuals to run campaigns. I don't have any preferences on classes or playstyle. I enjoy playing every role as long as the DM gives me the tools I need to have fun in my role. What I am looking for is a game of D&D 5.5e to play around 8 or 9 pm (UTC +2). I have no set day to play, though I have a preference for the weekend, including Saturday. I don't mind any type of campaign from espionage to guild adventures or even thieves in search of ancient relics, though I prefer high fantasy worlds and little to no restriction around playstyles (for example, limiting magic, magic items, etc.) and, if possible, more focus on the roleplay aspect both in and out of combat without overshadowing the gameplay of it. Now for a little info drop about me! I'm a student who lives in Western Europe, simply looking to find a memorable time and party to play and have fun with! I might sound or act a little anxious or closed off at first, but if I grow comfortable, I can get extremely chatty! A part that I find very important in sessions is the music that is played. Having no music is actually a huge deal breaker for me in many situations. Lastly, I'm looking forward to meeting and talking with new people about my personal hobbies, and getting to know each other well. There is still a lot I could write, but I much prefer getting to know someone by voice and through more meaningful personal chats! Hopefully someone reading this message might think I'm a good pick for their game. If not, I still hope, reader, that in the future you will have fun rolling dice at whatever table you end up playing at, and that you have a nice day! if I caught your interest, you can message me directly on the site, or you can send me your Discord and we can keep talking there! <3

Mutants & Masterminds
Golden Squad is a superhero actual play audio drama using Mutants & Masterminds 3rd Edition, hosted by Luke and featuring a rotating cast of people he's legally allowed to call friends. Set in a custom world pulled directly from Luke's overcaffeinated brain, things tend to get weird, wild, and occasionally even heroic. The chaos is kept mostly family-friendly thanks to our tireless editorial staff—a flock of highly trained birds with strong moral values and questionable grammar. Rules-medium
Kult: Divinity Lost is the fourth edition of Kult, a contemporary horror RPG originally created by Gunilla Jonsson and Michael Petersén and first published in Sweden by Äventyrsspel (later Target Games) in 1991 - a game notorious enough in its day that its Italian release was reportedly banned by the Vatican.  This edition, designed by Robin Liljenberg and Petter Nallo and published by Helmgast in 2018 following a successful Kickstarter, is a ground-up reboot: entirely new rules built on a modified version of the Powered by the Apocalypse engine, and a setting updated from the 1990s to the present day. It won two ENNIE Awards in 2019 and is distributed internationally by Modiphius Entertainment.
