Hi, I'm looking for a long term campaign, primarily text based, but open to voice as well. Homebrew, module, or anything in between doesn't matter to me. I'm in it to tell a good story, and all of those will serve well as the medium. Since I'm roleplay focused I'd like the campaign to also be roleplay focused or an equal mix of combat, RP and Exploration. Not particularly interested in dungeon crawls. A little bit about me. I'm in the UTC+3 timezone for reference. I have played D&D 5e and 5.5e for about 5 years now so while not a several decades old veteran as some, I'm fairly experienced with the rules and the systems. I'm looking for a collaborative experience and ready to bounce ideas on character level and on campaign level. I tend to value story progression and character relationships the highest since that's what I'm most interested in exploring. I tend to favor dark fantasy or grimdark settings, but will play high fantasy and more as long as the campaign is not a parody. Jokes are perfectly fine in moderation. What you can expect from me is detailed backstories with a lot of hooks, the ability to adapt to the campaign's needs, and high collaboration in general. I enjoy planning arcs with either the DM or other players. In the context of text based campaigns, I can post every day, and multiple times, so I'm very active. For live text or live sessions on voice, you can expect high punctuality and proactive communication. If I can't make a session, you'll hear from me ahead of time without having to ask. What I expect in return, collaborative storytelling, good vibes, and the willingness to work with me to create the best version of the story we can tell together. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7:30 pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

Most of my D&D experience at this point is with 5E, as I've been playing since the playtests, but I've got considerably less with 2024. I am a ttrpg player of 6 years. Mostly in dnd, but I have experience playing PF2E, Fabula Ultima and Thirsty Sword Lesbians. Additionally I have read up a bit on most if not all of the systems I'm interested in! I enjoy finding a specific vibe for my characters, like a fighting style, a specific backstory, an aesthetic etc. I then push a system to fulfil that vibe to it's fullest, committing entirely to that bit, even to the character's detriment at times. I am also an avid heroforge user and deeply enjoy making heroforge models of all the pcs! When actually playing I try my best to use my character not just to their own end, but also to try my best within my characters personality, to empower other players. My fatal flaw is definitely my attention span, I am distracted very easiily, something I have been working to mitigate for a while, but that I'm not sure I'll ever fully ditch. I am looking for a Saturday game that starts no later than 12am GMT (yes I know thats technically thursday xD). I also have little preference for the system.

Hello! I'm Ozzy, an amateur player looking for some campaigns where my character concepts can thrive. I've played a few games that I never finished and one game I did finish. I'm 18 and Trans (FtM)! I don't specialize in any one class or archetype. Weekend games are preferable since I have Friday-Sunday completely free, but later in the day (after 4:30) Monday-Thursday are also doable. I am fairly roleplay-focused, but I also enjoy combat for the small bits of flavoring and the "casting create water in someone's lungs" moments. (I won't do that constantly, don't worry.) Also, I do not want to participate in campaigns with AI usage, no matter how minimal. It just isn't fun for me. I'm also an artist, and I enjoy drawing my characters and other people's. I won't always do free art because I don't always have time, but most of the time I'm up for it, especially if it's something small and silly. I was gonna put the character concepts here as well, but I have far too many to fit into one post without making it too long, so if you're interested, pitch me your campaign, and I'll pick out the character I think fits in the best. My main priority is making sure you don't have to bend or twist any rules to accommodate the character I pick. CHARACTER CONCEPTS (So if you see something interesting, you can message me about it) Wasp - Thri-kreen (or a similar reskinned species if you can't make that work) - Bard (College of Lore) Concept: A formerly enslaved insectoid who's only recently escaped and is experiencing freedom for the first time. Personality: Very friendly, curious, and overly excitable, kind but not naive. His kindness is a conscious choice and a philosophy. "No amount of heartbreak could ever make me unloving." Looking for: Exploration, found family, situations that challenge his kindness without forcing him to be cruel. Extra details: Neutral Good alignment L8 - Warforged - Artificer (Artillerist) Concept: The first successful result of an experimental attempt to resurrect a dead person through cybernetics, except whoever woke up isn't the person the researchers were trying to bring back. Personality: Cautious and analytical, extremely conscious of their own strength, and socially awkward. They are quite sweet, though; empathy just isn't their strong suit. Looking for: Dystopian worlds, conspiracies, sci-fi setting preferred but not required Extra details: Lawful Neutral alignment \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, L8 does have the ability to store the damage he takes and then fire it back all at once (every hit he takes adds to the total damage) Praise Moonshine - Human (altered by rituals but still) - Cleric (Twilight) Concept: A disgraced cultist attempting to reunite with their leader and resume their "purpose." Personality: Very disciplined and devoted, clearly sheltered, and has forgotten how to interact with people outside of their faith; prone to pettiness that's so subtle it's practically invisible. Looking for: Situations that confront the nasty things Praise did in the name of their leader, dark fantasy. Extra details: Lawful Neutral \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, Praise has several "blood" spells that involve them damaging themselves to either strengthen a spell or cast a custom one.

Hello! I've been playing D&D for pretty much my entire life. When I first started, I played 3.5e (not my favorite system, admittedly), which eventually led me to 5e, my go-to system ever since. Over the years, I've branched out and played a variety of other TTRPG systems, including Pathfinder, GURPS, Palladium, Shadowrun, Blades in the Dark, and many more. As a result, I've got plenty of experience with TTRPGs in all their different forms, and I'm more than comfortable adapting to new rulesets, mechanics, and homebrew content. When it comes to 5e, I know the rules like the back of my hand! (5.5e, on the other hand, is still unexplored territory for me, as I haven't had the pleasure of playing a game using that system just yet.) Hello! I'm Ram, 27, I've been playing DND since 4e and have run games of various lengths IRL for a while. I've ran games 4e, 5e and 5.5e as well as the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG and Perfect Draw!!, which is a Powered by the Apocalypse based game themed as a card game anime. Which yes, was wacky and fun and we fully leaned into stereotypes! I love getting into character! Thinking about how each character reacts, has their own methods and solves their own goals is super fun and my favourite parts about RPGs. I love world building and diving into others world seeing all the bits and bobs they put in to really make it come alive. I like to RP over getting into combat, but still enjoy a dungeon session with several combats back-to-back along with puzzles. When combat is used as apart to tell a story I really love it. I much prefer high fantasy for a genre of game, horror and dark fantasy just isn't my cup of tea. The occasional sinister plot is fine but if it's the entire campaign, I'm not interested. I also don't do well with gore. Characters get hurt and bleed, that's okay and normal. But things like amputations are not something I want to be apart of. I have a personal high value on punctuality, I will always make an effort to be at the game and on time! I'm available 5PM-12AM Monday-Thursday and all day weekends. Also no AI from me! Where's the fun in letting the computer do everything?

I'm very fond of roleplaying, though I do also like combat and intrigue. I play dnd for the collaborative storytelling, so I prefer to play with people who are willing to contribute to a story, not take it over. I'm open to most dark things, just not NSFW topics (like sexual encounters).

I'm a long time TTRPG player of several dozen different systems over the past 30 years. I'm mostly interested in western fantasy, but have dabbled in other kinds of settings (eastern fantasy, modern settings, sci-fi/sci-fantasy, etc). I prefer live play by post, but I'm willing to do voice games as well, and I have never had nay attachment to any particular official setting-- so homebrew doesn't really bother me, as long as the DM knows what they're doing.
