Hi, I'm a 34 year old male from New Zealand. I've been running DND campaigns consistently for about 6 years and embrace what modern VTT's have brought to the hobby. I'm an easy going gm that will facilitate my players and streamline the admin to keep the focus on the narrative. I'm a sucker for a bit of grim dark and more mature themes but know when to keep things light and fun. I love a good book, work as a 3d artist and can't wait to become part of a really great community.

I go by Aurelius, and I’m looking for a group willing to accept my questionable morals and darker talents. I generally enjoy the company of demons, eldritch horrors, and other unsavory beings. My hobbies include long walks along brimstone cliffs overlooking seas of magma, making dubious pacts, and occasionally peering into the endless abyss just to see if it waves back. I’m looking for a long-term campaign and have a pretty flexible schedule overall. I’m in the EST time zone. The only caveat is that I have my daughter every other week, so on those weeks I can’t play until after 8:30 PM EST on weekdays. I’d love to join a homebrew campaign. I’m a big fan of Spelljammer and Eberron, but honestly I’m happy to dive into just about any setting if the group is fun. I’m happy to build a character that complements the party, but I have a soft spot for Warlocks. I love the roleplay that comes with having a patron—the bargains, the consequences, the occasional existential crisis—and the dynamic it adds to the group. I've always been a writer and a storyteller and fell in love with Dimension 20 and just the overall concept of group storytelling using shiny math rocks. My work schedule prevents me from being able to participate in d&d nights at my local game store, and while I'm open to DMing in the future, I would love to first find a group to join as a new player to get my sea legs underneath me first. I love fantasy and sci-fi of most kinds, but have noticed that a lot of people tend to gravitate to darker, grittier settings and horror. I would like to avoid that if at all possible, and my ideal fit would be a more whimsical and hopeful setting. I fell in love with gnomes as a race/species as I have ADHD and the descriptions of gnomes just screams ADHD to me. Plus, in my reading I have discovered that gnomes are one of the lesser-played races and that's heartbreaking to me and I can't let that stand.

I'm new-ish to dnd 5e and 5.5e. I have played a few sessions but never found a group worth staying with. DM EXPERIENCE: Recently my children watched Stranger Things and wanted to play dnd. So I bought a starter adventure and we are learning how to play together. I DM for my family but will not DM for strangers as I feel I'm not qualified. PLAYER EXPERIENCE: I love warlock and will always roll a warlock when available. I won't ever make a melee character but will multiclass for the build if it requires or seems fun but I'm a magic user through and through. I LOVE healing in video games but dnd is not a video game and does not adhere to the rules of healing that I'm used to. I tried cleric as my first ever character and realized that healing wasn't the same. After that I made a warlock and felt the call. Hex and eldritch blast ftw. Never played past level 4 unfortunately.

My timezone is MST and my available hours are typically after Early Afternoon MST (think after 1pm MST) I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I'm also a forever DM, and I have experience teaching new DMs, the hard part is just getting them to commit to taking up the mantle. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

If you're looking for a player who cares about your world lore and actually wants to know why the grumpy tavern owner is moody, I'm your guy. I'm not really here to crunch numbers into oblivion or argue over combat grid geometry. I'm way more interested in the messy, collaborative storytelling part of things. Think less tactical strike force and more chaotic found family trying to survive the plot. With neither race accepting the other half of him, he struggled on his own to survive as a boy after his mother passed. An orphan with not even a name to his being, he became notorious among the gangs of the gate for both his tenacity and thieving abilities. Eventually forming his own gang with help from a close friend he had made after they were busted on a job together. His elven raw magical talent but lack of training made his magic shape in a peculiar way. Turning him into a soul knife rogue who would eventually find himself knocking on Strahds doorstep. Was the party leader for a curse of strahd game. Was somewhere between a reckless but respectable older brother and that cool but weird uncle. (Neutral good). Sinphony - A downloaded consciousness in a sci-fi world, Sin was a research robot tasked with stopping a galaxy wide plague. Body built by an A.I his people worshipped, Sin was once a human who's being was uploaded into the great ARK shortly before his death. From the transfer not much of himself came with him except flashes of a past he cant quite make out and his scientific acumen. Now he is the science officer for a ship headed to deep space. The main doctor in charge of experimentations and quarantine on the galactic illness. Generally played as a CDC disease specialist and pretended to be more of a robot then he was. A mostly kind being though one willing to make sacrifices to stop the spread of the galactic plague. (Neutral good).

I can talk a bit and still know when I need to listen, as I do my best to be a engaging person while giveing you the time and space to talk. I’m Amber, and I’m looking for a D&D group that enjoys character-driven stories, spooky fantasy, meaningful roleplay, and a table where people can laugh, get invested, and actually show up consistently. I love darker fantasy, horror vibes, witchy characters, emotional backstories, morally complicated choices, and party dynamics that feel like they matter. I enjoy roleplay a lot, especially when characters have secrets, trauma, loyalty issues, messy friendships, or slowly built trust. I also enjoy combat when it feels connected to the story and gives characters a chance to be clever, dramatic, or protective of the party. My favorite kind of campaign has a good mix of roleplay, exploration, mystery, and combat. I like Curse of Strahd-style gothic horror, fey weirdness, haunted forests, cursed magic, morally gray NPCs, and “something is deeply wrong here” storylines. I’m not looking to rules-lawyer anyone, and I’m happy to learn the table’s style and respect the DM’s calls. As a player, I’m creative, blunt in a good way, invested, and very character-focused. I like building characters with detailed backstories that give the DM hooks to use, but I’m also happy to adjust my character to fit the world and the party. I tend to enjoy characters like haunted sorcerers, swamp witches, rangers, rogues, druids, hexbloods, elves, tieflings, and anyone with a little bit of spooky tragedy. I’m looking for a reliable group with kind adults who communicate clearly, respect boundaries, and want everyone at the table to have fun.
