Im wedgeoflamp(not gonna use my real name on a random site), and i would like to play some TTRPG's, my first and only time was DMing a game for my older sister and me, and that was fun but it was'nt dm'ed the best, and i would like to be a player, i like combat and roleplay, and i would like to play D&D 5e as i have the most time in that, but im open to things like daggerheart or COC, but really i am open to things like cyberpunk too, and mutants and masterminds i would like to give a try, and i heard of this new one lancer that i would learn more about beforep laying, but still, im pretty new, and just wanna find a good group, im fine playing with adults or teens, though not saying which one i am until someone asks me to join a game, cause i dont wanna atract weirdos that like kids or something, though for all you know i could be, or could not be. I just wanna have some fun, long or short term campaigns are fine, same with oneshots, though i know i dont like play by posts. I hope i dont come across as annoying though.

I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game/improv troupe I associate with the best expressions of role playing games. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and holding spance to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy. I'm happy to run games for your group in 5E/5.5E. I'm proficient with D&D Beyond, and will include music/sfx in our games and also make maps with Inkarnate. I'm interested to play games in Foundry/Forge and Roll20 where the use of dynamic lighting and other api features are highlighted. I would like to learn other RPG systems like Shadowdark and Daggerheart. I'm also interested in playing more Starfinder/Pathfinder and Star Wars!

Hello there! My (online) name is Spott, and I go by they/them or he/him. I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. My schedule is currently free but it will be changing shortly, however I should be free basically every day in the evenings (after 6pm EST). I've never finished a campaign but I've been in multiple long term campaigns. Currently I am in four, two online, two in person, all have been going for more than a year. I have been both a player and a DM but personally, dmming just wasn't for me. It felt like a job to me as opposed to feeling like I'm playing a game with friends. I get very heavily into role play and prefer the role play experience to the combat, but that's not to say I don't like or want combat. I love building character relationships and dynamics and watching as relationships change throughout the campaign. Im also a very detailed note taker. In all four of my campaigns I'm considered the best note taker and am usually for this reason the one that does recaps whenever we have longer pauses than usual. We've both ended up being the forever DMs in our own group, and whenever one of us gets to play, it's usually because the other is running the game. I have a bit of expeirence as I have been playing off and on since highschool. I am an introvert and I find D&D to be a way to kind of come out of a shell a bit. I am a laid back player and can fill any role that the group may need, but I do have my preferrences of what I do like playing the most. I try to be as immersive as I can with my character and how I play them, voice them and how they would interact with the world and fellow party mates. Hi friends :) I go by Fluffy/Fluff. I'll be honest and start by saying, I'm fairly new to DnD. I was introduced to the Baldur's Gate series when I was very young and then later on Divinity and Larian's newest game, Baldur's Gate 3 has had me itching to try role-playing in a proper DnD setting. I joined a campaign of all new players (friends) to the genre last year, however, it was disbanded after a few months due to personality differences with some of the players as well as scheduling issues... we were playing on roll20 and the campaign was the Curse of Strahd, but we didn't get very far. This left me quite sad as I really enjoyed it and I took a long time creating my character, whom I absolutely loved. I'm looking for a semi-casual friendly group, that still takes the game seriously and wants to advance in the campaign, whilst also fostering camaraderie and immersing themselves in their roles. Whilst I am new, I'm willing to learn and am fairly familiar with the basics. I am a little nervous as I don't want to let anyone down and this is my first time looking for a group like this... but I'm very enthusiastic about role-play and would do my very best to familiarise myself with the technical/fighting aspect of DnD! I've only ever played a Druid but enjoy support type roles in any game I've pretty much ever played if so allowed. I'm big on roleplaying and I love in depth character creation, but I also enjoy dungeon crawling and combat. I've always tended to take the lead when playing board games to keep things moving and I'm a storyteller, so I think I'd make a good GM. I love sci-fi and fantasy in equal parts, grew up on and still enjoy magical girl media, and I've gotten really into the superhero genre more recently. I'm also a thorough enjoyer of dystopian settings, though I don't have the stomach for intense horror that I used to. I'm admittedly very awkward when meeting new people, but once I'm over the initial hurdle and start feeling comfortable (which happens pretty quick with good matches) I'm bright and passionate. I've played in a variety of games, both homebrew and existing DnD modules, and am familiar with the game's systems and workings. I haven't gotten a chance to fully play with the new 2024 5e system and would love to get a chance to. I'd prefer to take part in a homebrew campaign, but I'm open to modules (except Curse of Strahd which I've played way too much and want a break from it). I've played D&D off & on for years, but I still feel very new to the game, especially as online part of it goes. I'm only so-so with role-playing, I'm more of a 'my character does/says' kind of guy than accents or garb. Though I have done other tricks like use mannerisms of my character so I keep 'in character'. I'm looking to play long term games. I prefer modules over heavy homebrewing, but a bit of it is pretty much always necessary, right... Even as I say that, there are three stories that I'd love to find a group to play with through them, as a character: Phandelver to Wildspace (just play thru modules from 0-Spelljammer), TMNTortles of Ravnica (self explanatory & probably heavily DM brewed), & Uprising in Undermountain... they all vary in brew necessity, but the latter one is a big goal I hope to achieve... a full run through current Undermountain, from the inside out as monstrous people trying to make things a little less wrong, while using the setting that is D&D's largest (afaik) dungeon, & it even has a couple dragons in it. I enjoy strong party dynamics, tense social interaction, meaningful choices, and immersive worlds that react to the players. While I enjoy combat and understand the mechanics side of the game well, my favorite moments usually come from roleplay, character development, and group chemistry. My preferred class is Druid, but I’m always willing to work with the DM and party composition if another role fits the campaign better. I care more about building a character that strengthens the group and story than forcing a specific concept. Reliable, communicative, and easygoing out of character. Mostly looking for a group invested in immersion, consistency, and creating a memorable story together.

Greetings! I go by Nope in online spaces. I am 22 years old, use he/they pronouns, and have been playing TTRPGs for a solid 9 years now! The majority of my experience lies in D&D 5e and 5.5e, both as a player and as a GM, but I also have some experience in Pathfinder 2e, LANCER, and other miscellaneous systems. I am always open to try out new systems! The main thing I look for in a game is ample opportunities to roleplay, both with my fellow players and with the game setting. I love exploring the setting of the game and interacting with it through my character, and emotional character-driven storytelling. I also greatly enjoy engaging with the nuts and bolts of a system, which usually manifests as an interest in combat.
