Greetings! I’m a story‑focused player who loves digging into character motivations, meaningful choices, and the kind of roleplay that makes sessions feel memorable. I’m looking for a consistent group, ideally in person in Houston, TX, meeting on Wednesday evenings or weekends. My schedule can vary, but once a time is set, I’m reliable and committed. I play with the party’s well‑being and the story’s momentum in mind. I’m not big on selfish character goals; I enjoy characters who grow through cooperation, tough decisions, and shared challenges. I’m here for narrative-first play involving emotional beats, character arcs, strange magic, mysteries, and the occasional “we’re in this together” moment. Combat is fun when it’s meaningful or cinematic, but I don’t need to punish goblins or reanimated corpses for a whole three-hour session. I’m less drawn to political intrigue, but I’m very happy in fantasy or sci‑fi settings with rich worlds, interesting stakes, and room for characters to breathe and evolve. If your campaign values atmosphere, collaboration, and characters who feel like real people, we’ll get along great.

My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. Hi I'm Edward. I'm an older player, been playing for about 4 years. While I love all aspects of DND - role play, exploring and combat - I find my favourite games are those that more or less balanced between the three. I love games that are challenging with lots of difficult choices and lean in to the party working together with the DM to create a story. I would grab at an opportunity to play in person but I've tried gaming clubs and find I can't get on with the volume of players and noise. I am looking for campaigns that play on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E systemor Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. I tend not to create very lore dense backgrounds, instead focusing on interesting character arcs/dilemmas. I've been playing for 8 years now and I have so many characters I want to play or hash out but the stories the players I play with wouldn't make sense to just put in as an NPC so I would just want to play and get up to some shenanigans.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thu and Sat. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. I am a 22 M who is relatively new to dnd. I've only played a Star Wars campaign with my brothers in law (and BG3 but that probably doesn't count), so I'd definitely consider myself a noob. I'm also a college student, so my scheduling may be a little unpredictable (particularly in the start of the fall while I'm figuring out a routine), but once I get a routine in I'd likely be able to work with it. I also own tabletop simulator on steam. My favorite classes are warlocks, rogues, and fighters (and I want to eventually try a ranger), so those classes or some combination would probably be what I'd end up playing. However, I currently have a folk horror undead sorlock in the mind vault that I'm the most antsy to try out.

Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most of the week; just can't do Sundays, or evenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. I've been playing D&D for around 5 years, although I've only ever played with my IRL friends. I've been cursed with the "Forever DM" curse! 😂 I've spent a lot of time DMing and I genuinely love it, but I've been craving the chance to actually be a player for once D&D is the religion i was raised on, but my personal favorite system is actually Marvel Multiverse RPG. I'm generally happy to try different TTRPG systems, though, I love Daggerheart, Fate and Vieja Escuela I'll play on Discord voice chat. Just a heads-up: I don't use a webcam, and I have a Mexican accent, so hopefully that's not a problem I'm happy to play either a serious or goofy oneshots, and I'm always excited to make characters and get invested in a new world.
