Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thu and Sat. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. Hi, I'm Heca! I'm a 22-year-old relatively new player looking for a D&D 5.5e (2024) campaign between Monday and Thursday, after 7 PM CET. I'm French, but I have very decent English, even though my accent is sometimes all over the place. I enjoy a good blend of roleplay and combat, with some chaotic fun sprinkled in. I'm also absolutely okay with dark themes and horror. I have a little experience so far: two one-shots and one currently active campaign. I also watch a lot of D&D videos and listen to campaigns like Dimension 20, Just Roll With It, and Dungeons & Daddies (not a BDSM podcast). I already have a character concept I'd really like to play: A chaotic good, Small-sized Warforged Battle Smith who uses his Steel Defender as a mount. For a Forgotten Realms setting, I was thinking of flavoring his backstory as a failed attempt by a mage to recreate a Nimblewright without enough of the required materials and using an air elemental instead of a water elemental, resulting in a somewhat "unstable" construct. I'm not completely sure about all the details and motivations yet, so I'm very open to developing the character around the campaign and DM's setting. Hi! I'm Perdoc (m29) and I'm looking for my next online game and group! I recently moved and had to leave my in person group behind. I'm looking for a way to keep scratching an itch for storytelling and playing dnd. I've been playing since 2019. In that time I've run two 2-year long games, one online and one in person. Both were set in the sword coast. I've played and dm'ed a half dozen games in the last year in my former groups homebrew setting. I've dabbled in a handful of other systems including pf2e, POBA games, and the invisible college (cool system, creepy game to play) I appreciate playing deep and well rounded (and the occasionally crazy) characters who learn more about themselves and the world as they explore the stories and wrestle with their inner thoughts. I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E systemor Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. I prefer sessions in the afternoon/evening (EST) that run between 3-5 hours long. Player info: I'm more roleplay oriented and like a 70/30 split of roleplay to combat. I tend not to create very lore dense backgrounds, instead focusing on interesting character arcs/dilemmas. I love immersing myself in a world and getting invested in the plot, brainstorming interactions between my characters and the other players, etc. I'm okay with characters dying in reasonable circumstances/with narrative buildup. I have a few character concepts ready that I'm more than willing to tailor to your story! I'm fairly new to the game, mostly unfamilar with combat mechanics, but I have a decent understanding of player etiquette. I like campaigns with an overarching plot that can be influenced by player input to some extent, similar to a series of bus stops as oppossed to a railroad/sandbox. Pretty laid back guy, I'm 41, and am looking for other adults to play with. I'm open to online but I'd much prefer at the table. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I'm fine with a 50/50 split of RP and combat or a 60/40 split in either direction. I will say I probably need to work on my RP but fighting is just so fun! I have a weird schedule so I need a morning game which I know is really hard to find. I get along with everyone, would rather move the story along than argue the small stuff and can go with the flow!

Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. Looking forward to getting to know everyone! I am currently wanting to find a group who enjoys both serious and fun moments for games! In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. Heya folks, this is Wolfie. I've been an on-and-off game master of multiple systems for almost a decade or more now, and have experience with roleplaying going back a couple decades at this point. I tend to run harsh, dark and gritty style campaigns, and focus on new player friendly campaigns designed towards introducing and teaching newcomers to the realm of roleplay (though I'm not opposed to veterans, I just like giving less experienced players their chance!). Hi I'm Kenny (25M), I've been a TTRPG player for a year now. I've also tried my hand at GM-ing a Cyberpunk Red campaign and it was more trouble than it's worth. I'm basically a beginner at D&D as my group switched systems to Fate after a few months of starting, but I did like the structure D&D provides. I don't have a preference for the system as each have their own charm. I am available every day of the week post 5pm CET except Fridays. I am reliable when it comes to sessions and won't miss any without a valid reason. I enjoy character building and some serious roleplay. I'm alright with jokes as long as they do not ruin an emotional moment. I prefer character bonding and RPing together rather than each individual doing their own thing and others having to follow. There also needs to be a serious threat of the character dying as without it players (typically me) tend to go on silly tangents which do not contribute much to the story (basically, keep me in check). Overall I do prefer the RP over combat. I hope to find an non-toxic, easygoing and reliable group, and a DM who is not too strict with the rules.

I *think* I prefer a roleplay-focused style (combat in DnD bores me to pieces), but then maybe I haven't experienced fun combat in a TTRPG yet? I tend to play characters on the goody-two-shoes side (they could be criminals, but they would have standards, lol). After skimming the "how to write your description" text (yes, isn't it great that I wrote most of the previous BEFORE I did that? I'm very smart. No seriously, it's been thousand degrees weather for weeks and my brain is fried): my favourite book series are Discworld and the Muderbot Diaries. Favourite videogames include Dishonored, Disco Elysium, Dragon Age. Fave TV series include Leverage, Severance, Star Trek DS9, AtLA. My hands-down favourite actual play podcast "series" is The Adventure Zone: Amnesty. (Balance is also good but Amnesty is where they peaked, imo) (I also greatly enjoy the various Oxventures. Sadface why no update...) Time and day-wise, I prefer Fri, Sat, Sun; *possibly* also Mondays. Flexible on the time as long as it's between 11:00 and 23:00, and if it's an online session I tend to cap out at 3 hours.

A 28-year-old male who has been the (mostly) Forever Dungeon Master for a long time, who's now looking to experience the game from the other side of the DM Screen! I've run many campaigns with homebrew settings, items, mechanics, monsters, and even full systems, and it's all been based on a firm foundation of either DND 5E or PF2e, so I'm fairly comfortable with both. I loved both combat and roleplay as a DM, and I don't suspect I will shy away from either as a player, but what excites me most about them respectively are the possibility of consequences (up to and including player character death) and the process of gathering unique friends, allies, enemies, and nemeses that the party goes through. Needless to say, I love me some verisimilitude for both characters and setting, so if that's your jam, I am there for it! As for my personal tastes surrounding pop culture, I've been a fan of Warcraft ever since I could comprehend how to move a mouse across the screen. Warcraft is my bread and butter, but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of things like the following (in order of familiarity): Halo, Starcraft, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Warhammer (40K and Fantasy/The Old World), and both Mass Effect & Dragon Age! Ultimately, I just want to create a character, get immersed, and make some friends (both in-game and out) along the way!

So far I've only played 2 campaigns as a player: the first a DnD 5e one, run by a friend so we could "try out" the system, and the second a Dragonbane campaign. I'm currently running a DnD 5e campaign myself as a DM, so I might give being a player with strangers a shot someday ! I'm still kind of a newbie in the TTRPG world; I use Foundry as my only VTT and have never touched any other. As for my playstyle: I'm a sucker for dwarves. I don't really know why, but I love them (maybe I watched a little too much Lord of the Rings growing up). I'm a straightforward guy, so I lean toward paladin / fighter / barbarian types; and if my character gets to be a bit dumb, even better. On the logistics side: I'm based in France (CEST / GMT+2) and looking for online games mainly. I'm flexible on frequency, weekly, bi-weekly or one-shots all work and I have no preference between the 2014 and 2024 rules since I'm not familiar with every rules, so either edition is fine. I'm available every weekday evening from 7PM to midnight (CEST), as long as I'm given enough notice (ideally 3 - 4 days ahead), and occasionally on weekends from 2PM to midnight. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.
