Hi I'm Em, uni student in New Zealand. I have experience gming Ten candles, Lasers & Feelings and DND 5e. I've played DND 5.5, Call of Cuthulu, Dread, DND 5e. I'm very much interested in VTM (I'd like to play before maybe Storytelling), the Kids on Bikes system, Monster of the week and anything one page or one session focused. I'm also interested in Masks a New Generation and I'd be willing to learn to GM for an enthusiastic group. Some media influences I draw on are comics, wwe, fairy tales, and have a big soft spot for modern gothic tales such as What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher. I've also enjoyed podcasts such as Welcome to Nightvale and something like Kids on Bikes or Monster of the Week might be cool with this vibe. When it comes to actual play I've watched some dimension twenty campaigns, a tiny bit of critical role, little LBYN, a good chunk of Dungeons Drakkenheim, a little bit of WBN and the whole concept of Private Nightmares is fascinating to me. DMing requirements. If you're interested in having me dm some form of session zero is required (even just ten to fifteen minutes beforehand) and for dming online a simple safety system such as lines and veils is non-negotiable. I'll play in voice, text, camera on. When it comes to my campaigns, no generative ai. Whether that's ai art, back stories, and please don't feed my narration into ai to try and get the optimal response, it's really lame and I won't want to DM for you. This is something I trust people on when I GM and I hope that trust is respected. Horror is something I enjoy but it's definitely not a requirement and I won't bring it into a campaign unless it's been pre-established that everyone at the table are on board for it (please don't ask me to spring horror on the other players without a temperature check, it's really not cool). For those in the Jacksonville, FL area, especially Clay County/Fleming Island/Middleburg, I am looking to start up an in-person Castles & Crusades game soon, likely on Wednesday or Thursday nights. We have a really good venue, so it’s just a matter of gauging interest. Experience: New and veteran players more than welcome! I am running again after a few years away, but have a lot of experience behind the screen with a lot of games. I have run longer campaigns of Rolemaster, Rifts, Savage Worlds, RuneQuest 6, and Castles & Crusades, along with multiple one-shots at conventions (including Palladium Fantasy and Microlite74). Content: Expect some level of homebrew additions—lots of sandbox play, some house rules and classes I’ve already had or am kicking the tires on. C&C usually “feels” a lot like AD&D 1e in actual play, but with later d20 rules. I'm really looking to get back to the "sweet spot" that C&C represents. Not interested in 5e, Narrative Storygames, or Pathfinder 2e at this time (just not my thing, just putting it out there since those are common entries). Play/Running Style: Encounters can be deadly; exploration, diplomacy, teamwork, creative problem-solving, and combat all have their place. What happens is all up to the decisions made around the table. Appropriate for most ages (keeping it pretty clean)—we just game. Friendly to new players--we will even have characters you can go with if you don't want or know how to roll one up. Hygiene and basic civility a must.

Hello everyone! My name is Mark and it is nice to meet you! I have been playing tabletop games for over 12 years now and I'm the Forever GM for my group of friends! I have run a number of systems, including D&D 3.5e, D&D 5e, PF1e, Savage Worlds, FATE, and even some smaller tabletop systems--including some I have made myself! As a result, I'm always happy to learn a new system, and I'm able to commit it to memory as well. I am primarily a story-focused GM, and I love being able to sink my teeth into a setting and learn all about it both IC and OOC. I take intricate notes in-character and like to keep track of how things are going. Lore and storytelling are the greatest rewards, not magical loot! I am also a very easygoing and laid-back player. As a GM, I am also willing to help other players learn the system/game if I can, and I am more than happy to play a background role to let others do their thing. I am also comfortable taking the lead, but I believe communication is key whether you are a GM or a player. As a result, I will always hash things out ahead of time instead of doing anything rash! I am Something, and not good at introductions. I play mostly indie games, but most games I am willing to try. I have played Dnd of course. I have famiarised myself with the likes of Vampires the masqsade, Lacer, and many others. I hope to actually play with the games I find and refind. I'm 30, queer, nb, and live in the EST. I'm a huge fan of IPs like Digimon, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, and FromSoft. I play Magic the Gathering on occasion, am usually available most weeknights for a chat, and have a cat named Persephone who occasionally attacks me while I'm at my computer. I try to be friendly, am often very funny, and am told I help create a warm and welcoming environment by the friends who are constantly sleeping on my couch (Though I suspect they just come here for my cat). If I were to say I had any social flaws I would say sometimes my jokes don't land and the kind of love I have to give is kind of tough on some people, even if it's froma good place. I am huge on all parts of DnD. I love Roleplay, Exploration, and Combat as long as everything is contributing to a narrative of some kind. The less of a narrative the less I am interested. The thing that gives me the most joy is creating interesting character concepts all the way from their backstory to their combat build, and then getting to see what other players are doing as well. I crave interaction between characters and campaigns that give plenty of room for characters to grow and evolve as people as they adventure together and learn more about each other. I don't have a specific type of character I always play because I always like exploring new concepts. However, if there were any similiarities between my characters is that I always write them with a character arc in mind. I like to craft a backstory that gives my character room to grow as a person, with plenty of loose threads for a DM or fellow player to pull on for the story they're telling. That and I also have a tendency to accidentally build spell-blades or intentionally build specialty casters.

Hello, my name is Chris (he/him) I am 40 years old, and a "forever DM" for my gaming group, and would like to have a chance to be a player for more than just a one-shot every now and then, even if that means seeking out another group to do it. I am mostly familiar with D&D 5E and 5.5E (have been DMing consistently since 2019). I am familiar with using online VTTs like Foundry and Roll20 (and using discord for audio only. Note I DO NOT have a webcam, so I would only be able to play with audio and whatever VTT we are playing in). I tend to be fairly laid back and am open to trying any setting and fullfill any character role that may be needed. I have some character ideas rolling around in my head, but I'm not committed to playing any one particular thing. Definitely willing to work with the DM/GM to build something that works with the setting and lore. As far as gameplay, I much prefer the roleplaying and exploration aspect more-so than the combat (though the combat is also important to have, it's just not the main draw for me). As far as game content, I have very little restrictions. Things can be dark and gritty or lighthearted, or a mix of the two. I don't consider any topic off-limits, but my one restriction would be that any sexual content is implied, but not graphically decribed or played out. So the usual "fade to black" is preferred. I know this is usually not an issue, but figured I would call it out for the few exceptions out there. Schedule-wise, I'm available most Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 7pm EST. Occasionally I may have a work conflict, but I would let people know ahead of time if that were to happen.

I love TTRPGs. Fantasy or Sci-Fi, campy or serious, investigative or hack-n-slash. I'm in my mid-fifties, roled my first dice in the 70's, and have been engaged in gaming on and off since. I have run stories and campaigns, but I don't have the time to plan and organize for a group right now. Being a white middle-aged male, he/him is fine, I am aware of the baggage that comes with that and am on a life adventure to find acceptance for me through accepting others for their identities and histories. I have played Advanced DnD, 2nd, 3rd, 3.5 and 5th edition, along with supplementals from other publishers for DnD like Fantasy Flight. I have played Rifts, Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Vampire the Masquerade, Pathfinder 1e, Star Wars (multiple versions), Starfinder, and I'm sure I'ver forgotten some games over the years. I'm hoping to find a group, or groups, to join in some adventuring. I suppose a short campaign is a good place to start, if the group is solid and works well then committing to something longer seems like a natural progession.

I like to keep my eye on the metaphorical ball, as small talk and personable improv aren't my strong suits. This usually leads me to play the responsible and mature character in the group. A good fictional adventure in my opinion should have breath taking vistas that you can immerse yourself in, breathing in the atmosphere. And nail-biting combat involving hated enemies and questionable allies. I am most comfortable in kitchen sink fantasy settings that are explored through a D20 system.

I don't really have any preferences for anything, I have no expirience so Im pretty much open to any style of gameplay since I haven't experienced any of them yet. I enjoy learning about greek mythology so I know a bit about that, and I love the Zelda franchise. I believe I would enjoy stealth missions or missions in which the players have to keep up a lie or something. I dont think I would love entirely combat focused but Im not opposed to fighting I just would love to come up with clever solutions to problems instead of just fighting. *sidenote* Alexander is actually my middle name but it's what I usually go by so I just put it here.

Hello, I'm Jesse. I've been playing and Gamemastering for 20+ years. I started with D&D 3.0 and have grown with both the Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder environments. I love to explore other systems, as well, and have played more than my fair share of the White Wolf systems (especially, Vampire), The Mistborn Adventure Game and now the Cosmere RPG, Call of Cthulu, and the unofficial Pokemon TTRPGs (Pokemon: Tabletop United and Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures). I've stuck my nose in many others systems such as various GURPS and PbtA systems, Blades in the Dark, and many more large and small games. I haven't picked up a systems that I've been truly unfamiliar with in over a decade. My experience is a spectacular mix of in-person plays with local friends and congoers as well as remote plays via VTTs such as Roll20 and Foundry and Play-by-Post campaigns with online friends and strangers alike. I'm familiar with tools of all varieties and flexible enough to pick up all the new ones as they ship out. I'm always trying to find the right combination for me and my table. I want to add that professionally, my background is in both education and counseling and that you can be comfortable in knowing that I am a well-organized person with both the patience and skills to deescalate and find common ground. I played with the 2014 (5E) rules so far (in peson), but I'm open to learning 2024 (5.5E) too. I love roleplay and combat pretty equally. I love getting into character and social scenes, but I also enjoy a good tactical fight. Still learning the finer rules, so I appreciate a table that's patient with questions. Hi, I'm James from the UK. I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs for a long time, and I enjoy trying different systems rather than sticking with one game. As you can probably tell from my system list, my tastes are pretty broad! I've played or run everything from Savage Worlds and Dragonbane to Alien, The One Ring, Star Wars, PbtA games, Blades in the Dark and plenty of others. I'm especially interested in Outgunned right now. I enjoy games where the players actually roleplay with each other rather than everything going through the GM. I like character interaction, collaborative storytelling and giving everyone their chance in the spotlight. Combat is great too, especially when it's exciting and has some narrative weight behind it. As a GM, I'm not interested in trying to beat the players. I want to give them situations to interact with, see what they come up with and make their characters look cool while still giving them meaningful challenges. As a player, I bring the same attitude: work with the group, support other people's moments, and help move things forward. I'm UK-based and mainly play online using Foundry VTT and Discord. My availability varies depending on the game, but I'm generally looking for UK/European evening times. I'm also happy playing with people who are completely new to a system. I don't expect everyone to know every rule before we start, especially considering half the fun for me is discovering games I haven't played before.
