Hello! I'm Ozzy, an amateur player looking for some campaigns where my character concepts can thrive. I've played a few games that I never finished and one game I did finish. I'm 18 and Trans (FtM)! I don't specialize in any one class or archetype. Weekend games are preferable since I have Friday-Sunday completely free, but later in the day (after 4:30) Monday-Thursday are also doable. I am fairly roleplay-focused, but I also enjoy combat for the small bits of flavoring and the "casting create water in someone's lungs" moments. (I won't do that constantly, don't worry.) Also, I do not want to participate in campaigns with AI usage, no matter how minimal. It just isn't fun for me. I use Discord mostly for VC and communication (@subject_l8 if you want to message me there; just mention this post if you do). I'm also an artist, and I enjoy drawing my characters and other people's. I won't always do free art because I don't always have time, but most of the time I'm up for it, especially if it's something small and silly. I was gonna put the character concepts here as well, but I have far too many to fit into one post without making it too long, so if you're interested, pitch me your campaign, and I'll pick out the character I think fits in the best. My main priority is making sure you don't have to bend or twist any rules to accommodate the character I pick. CHARACTER CONCEPTS (So if you see something interesting, you can message me about it) Wasp - Thri-kreen (or a similar reskinned species if you can't make that work) - Bard (College of Lore) Concept: A formerly enslaved insectoid who's only recently escaped and is experiencing freedom for the first time. Personality: Very friendly, curious, and overly excitable, kind but not naive. His kindness is a conscious choice and a philosophy. "No amount of heartbreak could ever make me unloving." Looking for: Exploration, found family, situations that challenge his kindness without forcing him to be cruel. Extra details: Neutral Good alignment L8 - Warforged - Artificer (Artillerist) Concept: The first successful result of an experimental attempt to resurrect a dead person through cybernetics, except whoever woke up isn't the person the researchers were trying to bring back. Personality: Cautious and analytical, extremely conscious of their own strength, and socially awkward. They are quite sweet, though; empathy just isn't their strong suit. Looking for: Dystopian worlds, conspiracies, sci-fi setting preferred but not required Extra details: Lawful Neutral alignment \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, L8 does have the ability to store the damage he takes and then fire it back all at once (every hit he takes adds to the total damage) Praise Moonshine - Human (altered by rituals but still) - Cleric (Twilight) Concept: A disgraced cultist attempting to reunite with their leader and resume their "purpose." Personality: Very disciplined and devoted, clearly sheltered, and has forgotten how to interact with people outside of their faith; prone to pettiness that's so subtle it's practically invisible. Looking for: Situations that confront the nasty things Praise did in the name of their leader, dark fantasy. Extra details: Lawful Neutral \\ If homebrew mechanics are allowed, Praise has several "blood" spells that involve them damaging themselves to either strengthen a spell or cast a custom one.

My playstyle depends heavily on my mood and the group's needs, but usually I like playing spellcasters and the like (Tho I am interested in playing different classes). hello! i'm xias. im a grad student in estonia i've played dnd before a few years ago but, i dont remember the specifics which is why i feel like my level is still on the beginner level. i do catch onto systems relatively quick but, i do struggle with the maths a bit in dnd haha. i've got experience with morkborg and don't mind trying more of the borgs honestly, i had fun! i've played cyberpunk:red for a bit, which is always a nice time. the game i have the most experience with is vtm but, i've played a homebrewed combined version of v20 and v3/revised haha. im willing to try out new systems though, just looking to get into playing again since i haven't in a while :) since i've gotten a few dms abt it, i am only willing to pay for games if they are in person haha. thanks!

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. Hiya! The name's Voltaine, or The Voltagonist, but you can call me Voltti... or even just Volt! I've been wanting to get into a D&D group for some time now, as I've had on-and-off games that never really went anywhere long-term. I'm really wanting to invest myself into a game of sorts, have more chances to play and learn, and perhaps even make some new friends along the way. For systems I've played? D&D 5e is the one I have the most hours (500+) and experience in and am the most confident in playing, while I'm very much wanting to learn Fabula Ultima, so any chance opportunity to do so would be greatly appreciated and heartily accepted! I'm also very much new but willing to learn Pathfinder 2e, as well as any homebrew system based off it, or any of the previously mentioned for that matter. For themes and genres I'm okay with? Pretty much anything and everything, with almost nothing off the table; from cozy slice-of-life and goofy roleplay to genuinely dark, disturbing, and emotionally brutal themes, I'm game for anything... within reason, of course. As for overall preferences? I very much want to roleplay, immersing myself entirely into the character I bring to the table and the world they're a part of, as well as being able to engage with my fellow players as that character more than speaking above table as myself. I'd much rather play a character with a strong concept, personality, or aesthetic, as I'm not entirely fond of needing to min-max my way through the adventure. The only thing I'd directly ask of my fellow players and DM is to be patient with me, as I can be a little slow on the uptake thanks to mild autism, a bit loud/rowdy when I get excited or happy, a bit grumpy when inconveniences pile up, and I ask a lot of questions about things I'm unsure of. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I’m looking for a group that values character growth, secrets, and a bit of "chaos" in the party dynamic. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. Hello! I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for about 6 years, primarily 5e and SWRPG FFG. I’m looking to get into systems like Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, Draw Steel, Mutants & Masterminds, and Daggerheart. Lean towards fantasy, sci-fi, sci-fantasy, and superhero games, but I’m open to trying other settings. I tend to enjoy balanced games where combat is present, but roleplay, story, and character choices are just as prevelant. Character-driven campaigns, heroic adventuring, mysteries, investigations, political intrigue, and even kingdom-building all sound interesting to me. Character-wise, I tend to gravitate toward sword-and-sorcery types, shapeshifters, summoners, and pet/companion classes that are sarcastic, conflicted, or strong and stoic. I’m available weekends, any time, US Central timezone. I’m hoping to find a group that enjoys collaborative storytelling, is LGBT-friendly, and takes the game seriously enough for the story to mean something to everyone without losing the ability to joke and have fun. Speaking of, I'm not into joke campaigns, adversarial GM-vs-player games, or games with heavy sexual content/themes. I have some experience with dnd as a player, but I have more with GURPS(a truly wonderful system that more people should play)as a GM. I wouldn't call myself a complete expert at either though. A Note on LGBTQ+ Friendly: It's not just a tag to me, it's a requirement. I am nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them. This is a nonnegotiable for me. I've had far too many people approach me with rather condescending invites to games about how they 'aren't safe spaces' or 'no politics'. I agree that my gender, and gender identity isn't politics, though people have made it politics. Human rights isn't politics and if you think it is something that should be, you can skip on by me. I am more than fine with darker themes with games, I love a good dark game. But the moment someone says 'this isn't a safe space' or 'no politics' it feels like a giant red flag to me as a game I'm not interested in. So if that's your game, you can skip me. Indepth discussions between characters, debates about what to do in different situations. Being challenged on morality of what is happening. Highs of wins fought through hard work and the sting of defeats felt through the whole group, ending in commiseration at the tavern as our characters mourn the loss of a favored NPC. Roleplay is what I love most about TTRPG's. I've been playing them since I was 12 years old (I am now 41), and while at the time it was because of all the cool monsters and stuff, even then I was captured by the different stories you could tell. I would love to share in the telling of the stories with you and your group. I've got extensive experience in a number of different systems from D&D in various incarnations to World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness to Masks, Stars Without Number and Fantasy Flight Star Wars. I'm always up for learning a new system! I've also GMed my fair share of games in the past, but am just looking to play right now due to my health right now (I am disabled) That isn't to say I -don't- like the tactical and exploration aspects of the game. When it comes to combat I tend to be more of a tactition sort of player, analyzing the playfield and trying to figure out the enemy. Though that hasn't ever stopped me from making the -stupid- decisions because they were in character. Story and plot over mechanical wins for me every time. Failure is always an option. It never is an end point, because it just gives new opportunities for story, even if it stings and hurts in the moment. We find the motivation in that. I'm a long time TTRPG player of several dozen different systems over the past 30 years. I'm mostly interested in western fantasy, but have dabbled in other kinds of settings (eastern fantasy, modern settings, sci-fi/sci-fantasy, etc). I'm currently a collage student, and amongst my main group of roleplaying friends I am the counter to my dungeon master in terms of luck, to better explain it, we play using discord using a dice roller bot, my dungeon master amongst my group is known for consistantly rolling high numbers like natural 20's, I am his opposite consistantly rolling natural 1s, in fact one time I rolled 7 natural ones in a row turning my character into a demi - god of chaos because I failed so hard it became a positive again. I'm familier with DnD 5e, I want to try the 5.5e, system, and i really wanna try cyberpunk red, and starfinder ( mostly because I bought the warframe starfinder module) . I suggested playing D&D to practice our English with a few friends (English is not our first language). So now we have a small group of three friends and a DM playing D&D almost every week to improve our English. As I was the one who came up with the idea, I became the DM and the teacher, teaching them all about D&D. But as the stereotype goes, scheduling is a constant struggle, so I decided to look for another player so the party isn't too weakened when a player can't make it. Alternatively, I'm looking for another group where I can play when our little English practice group can't make it. We met on Telegram, so we run our game calls through that app. After a few sessions using theater of the mind, we decided to use a VTT. We're currently using Owlbear Rodeo, which I find simple and efficient. I've been playing around with most of its plugins and have become very familiar with it. We also use D&D Beyond to manage character sheets. As a DM: I'm still new to DMing, so I think it's too early to determine my style, as I'm still learning and growing. So far, I've found that I focus on fun and pacing. If a rule bogs down the game or bores the players, I'm happy to throw it out of the window. That said, with newer players, I stick to the core rules so everyone builds a solid foundation. But if you know what you're doing and play fair, I'm very open to homebrew ideas. As a Player: Having sat behind the screen, I know how important it is for players to actively engage with the world, bite into plot hooks, talk to NPCs, and read their spells. I would try to be the kind of player I'd love to have at my own table! Time Zone: GMT-3 (BRT), We usually play around 8pm on Sundays and sometimes on Saturdays for about 2 hours sessions.
