Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thu and Sat. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. I do prefer to focus more on the game than talking outside of game.

Hi! I'm Maria, 23 F. 💗 I went to a D&D camp twice as a kid and absolutely loved the experience. That said, I haven't played tabletop since then and would definitely consider myself a beginner. What I like the most about D&D is the roleplay and storytelling. I've gotten a taste of it recently playing BG3 on PC but would like to try tabletop again. I love making characters with proper personalities, backstories and getting way too invested in them. 😂 I especially like emotional stories, mysteries and themes like complicated friendships, yearning, devotion, tragedy and all that fun stuff. I do enjoy combat too, just wouldn't want it to be the main focus. I might be a little quiet at first but once I get to know the group, I open up. I think I'd enjoy a group where everyone's characters actually get to know each other and the story feels like something we're creating together. Hi, I'm Heca! I'm a 22-year-old relatively new player looking for a D&D 5.5e (2024) campaign between Monday and Thursday, after 7 PM CET. I'm French, but I have very decent English, even though my accent is sometimes all over the place. I enjoy a good blend of roleplay and combat, with some chaotic fun sprinkled in. I'm also absolutely okay with dark themes and horror. I have a little experience so far: two one-shots and one currently active campaign. I also watch a lot of D&D videos and listen to campaigns like Dimension 20, Just Roll With It, and Dungeons & Daddies (not a BDSM podcast). I already have a character concept I'd really like to play: A chaotic good, Small-sized Warforged Battle Smith who uses his Steel Defender as a mount. For a Forgotten Realms setting, I was thinking of flavoring his backstory as a failed attempt by a mage to recreate a Nimblewright without enough of the required materials and using an air elemental instead of a water elemental, resulting in a somewhat "unstable" construct. I'm not completely sure about all the details and motivations yet, so I'm very open to developing the character around the campaign and DM's setting. I'm looking for a way to keep scratching an itch for storytelling and playing dnd. I've been playing since 2019. In that time I've run two 2-year long games, one online and one in person. Both were set in the sword coast. I've played and dm'ed a half dozen games in the last year in my former groups homebrew setting. I've dabbled in a handful of other systems including pf2e, POBA games, and the invisible college (cool system, creepy game to play) I appreciate playing deep and well rounded (and the occasionally crazy) characters who learn more about themselves and the world as they explore the stories and wrestle with their inner thoughts. Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I prefer sessions in the afternoon/evening (EST) that run between 3-5 hours long. Player info: I'm more roleplay oriented and like a 70/30 split of roleplay to combat. I tend not to create very lore dense backgrounds, instead focusing on interesting character arcs/dilemmas. I love immersing myself in a world and getting invested in the plot, brainstorming interactions between my characters and the other players, etc. I'm okay with characters dying in reasonable circumstances/with narrative buildup. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. Hello there! I am Aevan. I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, Majoring in Electronics. I like buttermilk, dark chocolate and apples. I am always serial crafting one concept before leaping to another worldbuilding, neither of them bearing any similarity beyond their unfinished state and their existence in my synapses. Those rare few lucky enough to get incarnated unto txt files and word docs are few and far between. And they, too, bear the mark of incompleteness despite the level of "corporeality" they may have managed to ascend to. I am a DnD 5e foreverGM looking to indulge myself as a player. The rare times I do get to play, my class of choice may range from purely relativistic melee to Spellswords. I usually play as Intrigue or Detective sorts, with high sink in Int & Wis stats, at times synergizing with abilities like Grim Psychometry or spells like Legend Lore. I do enjoy a good mindless Barbarian or a "I hit 3 times at a row" Human Fighter every now and then, as you do. I am very green to many systems, and while I intend to learn as I go, I do hope my newbie shenanigans, combined by the inner Player finally being released unto a sandbox, will prove to be very little nuisance to the rest of my fellow players. Heya folks, this is Wolfie. I've been an on-and-off game master of multiple systems for almost a decade or more now, and have experience with roleplaying going back a couple decades at this point. I tend to run harsh, dark and gritty style campaigns, and focus on new player friendly campaigns designed towards introducing and teaching newcomers to the realm of roleplay (though I'm not opposed to veterans, I just like giving less experienced players their chance!). I play entirely online, using Discord as a medium for voice and chat, as well as bouncing between various virtual tabletops. I've gone through Warhammer 40,000's tabletop wargame (most experience with 4th edition), as well as Warhammer Fantasy back in the day. Not looking to join a game right now, but host my own!

Hi I'm Kenny (25M), I've been a TTRPG player for a year now. I've also tried my hand at GM-ing a Cyberpunk Red campaign and it was more trouble than it's worth. I'm basically a beginner at D&D as my group switched systems to Fate after a few months of starting, but I did like the structure D&D provides. I don't have a preference for the system as each have their own charm. I am available every day of the week post 5pm CET except Fridays. I am reliable when it comes to sessions and won't miss any without a valid reason. I enjoy character building and some serious roleplay. I'm alright with jokes as long as they do not ruin an emotional moment. I prefer character bonding and RPing together rather than each individual doing their own thing and others having to follow. There also needs to be a serious threat of the character dying as without it players (typically me) tend to go on silly tangents which do not contribute much to the story (basically, keep me in check). Overall I do prefer the RP over combat. I hope to find an non-toxic, easygoing and reliable group, and a DM who is not too strict with the rules.

I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have a lot of experience in the previous edition of Call of Cthulhu set in the Roaring Twenties, so I'm sure I can adapt to the new edition easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'd like the chance to try them out to round up the genre. I lean into characters keen hungry for lore rather than riches. I'm not fixed to certain versions or rules of the game, although I do prefer 5e, so it's just a matter of remembering the set up the DM or group plays by. I prefer weekly sessions on Fridays (after 6 pm) or Saturdays (after 5pm) CST time. I still have school so 2 hr sessions should be good, but I am flexible to more or less. I feel that I am typically reliable for joining sessions, but last minute school events do occur, much to attempts to prevent it. I am the kind of person that likes roleplay focused games over actual combat. Fighting is fun, but interacting with others, making decisions, and fooling around is more my style. I'd prefer that our characters don't die, but know it's also a part of the game. I typically play bards and like to consider D&D to be a way to express oneself and explore in a way that people sometimes can't in the real world. I am a fan of dark humor, comedy, surprises, NSFW moments, and thought provoking scenarios.

Yes, yes -- I must play them... Ahem. Apologies... I am looking for a campaign (or five) to feed my insatiable hunger join a lively, well-rounded, and sane group of players who like to roleplay, share laughs, make memories, and tell stories collaboratively. New campaign, ongoing campaign, homebrew campaign, published campaign: it does not matter. Whether it is a newly created spot or just subbing in -- new character, fill-in character, NPC, former player's character: I will join your table with glee and vigor. (note: vigor is extra) I enjoy all three pillars of TTRPGS (combat, roleplay, exploration) and appreciate when there is a healthy balance among them. I am partial to roleplaying, however, as I feel it is the one element you cannot find in other gaming formats. In the TTRPG Rock, Paper, Scissors game that takes place in the deep and cloistered recesses of my mind: ROC > RAI > RAW. I am open to learning and trying new systems. I am a very easy-going and jocular sort, prone to tomfoolery betimes, but know full well when to wear the frowny mask versus the smiley one. A former teacher, I am very newbie friendly (to both players and GMs), and am gooder than most with the word use-ing for to tell things and show other things and for the explaining. A 28-year-old male who has been the (mostly) Forever Dungeon Master for a long time, who's now looking to experience the game from the other side of the DM Screen! I've run many campaigns with homebrew settings, items, mechanics, monsters, and even full systems, and it's all been based on a firm foundation of either DND 5E or PF2e, so I'm fairly comfortable with both. I loved both combat and roleplay as a DM, and I don't suspect I will shy away from either as a player, but what excites me most about them respectively are the possibility of consequences (up to and including player character death) and the process of gathering unique friends, allies, enemies, and nemeses that the party goes through. Needless to say, I love me some verisimilitude for both characters and setting, so if that's your jam, I am there for it! As for my personal tastes surrounding pop culture, I've been a fan of Warcraft ever since I could comprehend how to move a mouse across the screen. Warcraft is my bread and butter, but that doesn't mean I'm not a fan of things like the following (in order of familiarity): Halo, Starcraft, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Warhammer (40K and Fantasy/The Old World), and both Mass Effect & Dragon Age! Ultimately, I just want to create a character, get immersed, and make some friends (both in-game and out) along the way!

I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most of the week; just can't do Sundays, or evenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Because of this, I have a lot of ideas of classes I'd like to play, while I've only actually played a handful. My current idea is to try out sorcerer, but paladin and warlock seem cool too. I also just started watching Rigamaroll, and I'm fascinated by the Daggerheart system, so I'd love to try that as well.

Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.
