Hi, I'm looking for a long term campaign, primarily text based, but open to voice as well. Homebrew, module, or anything in between doesn't matter to me. I'm in it to tell a good story, and all of those will serve well as the medium. Since I'm roleplay focused I'd like the campaign to also be roleplay focused or an equal mix of combat, RP and Exploration. Not particularly interested in dungeon crawls. A little bit about me. I'm in the UTC+3 timezone for reference. I have played D&D 5e and 5.5e for about 5 years now so while not a several decades old veteran as some, I'm fairly experienced with the rules and the systems. I'm looking for a collaborative experience and ready to bounce ideas on character level and on campaign level. I tend to value story progression and character relationships the highest since that's what I'm most interested in exploring. I tend to favor dark fantasy or grimdark settings, but will play high fantasy and more as long as the campaign is not a parody. Jokes are perfectly fine in moderation. What you can expect from me is detailed backstories with a lot of hooks, the ability to adapt to the campaign's needs, and high collaboration in general. I enjoy planning arcs with either the DM or other players. In the context of text based campaigns, I can post every day, and multiple times, so I'm very active. For live text or live sessions on voice, you can expect high punctuality and proactive communication. If I can't make a session, you'll hear from me ahead of time without having to ask. What I expect in return, collaborative storytelling, good vibes, and the willingness to work with me to create the best version of the story we can tell together. I am heavily combat focused and not a very good roleplayer. I don't like having the spotlight much and tend to play background style characters. I am an avid homebrewer and looking for an open-minded group that allows players to use their creations. One of my favorites includes the "Legionnaire" Fighter, a rare "supporter" style. Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7:30 pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. I have a few lined up that I typically discuss with the DM to see which would be the best fit. One backstory for a example is a human rogue who's a member of a f very powerful crime family. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. Hi everyone! I’m a player in my 30s (UK) who is relatively new to the hobby but completely obsessed with the storytelling side of D&D. I’m looking for a group that values character growth, secrets, and a bit of "chaos" in the party dynamic. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. Hi, I'm Matt. Sometimes filling out these almost makes me feel like I'm setting up a profile on a dating website. Awkward, amirite? I'm just your average neurodivergent gay nerd looking for an inclusive table of fellow misfits to have some misadventures with while rolling dice. Most of my D&D experience at this point is with 5E, as I've been playing since the playtests, but I've got considerably less with 2024. I would be open to either system, though I'm definitely more interested in continuing to explore some of the changes to various classes in 2024, or at the very least some hybrid of the two. Lastly, the homebrew tag is mostly there because I'm hoping in my heart of hearts to find a cool DM open to letting me play an avariel elf, which sadly requires a bit of homebrew since WotC doesn't want to release an official version, and also a DM willing to allow flying PCs. Hey, I'm looking for players interested in the rolplaying side over the combat side. I have some experience with dnd as a player, but I have more with GURPS(a truly wonderful system that more people should play)as a GM. I wouldn't call myself a complete expert at either though. I am happy try out any system. I will GM, but do note that I don't have a real style yet other than focusing on roleplay and to a lesser extent exploration over combat so combat design is also not something I've got the hang of yet. In terms of genres, I will play anything, but steampunk and early modern games have a special place in my heart. I am a ttrpg player of 6 years. Mostly in dnd, but I have experience playing PF2E, Fabula Ultima and Thirsty Sword Lesbians. Additionally I have read up a bit on most if not all of the systems I'm interested in! I enjoy finding a specific vibe for my characters, like a fighting style, a specific backstory, an aesthetic etc. I then push a system to fulfil that vibe to it's fullest, committing entirely to that bit, even to the character's detriment at times. I am also an avid heroforge user and deeply enjoy making heroforge models of all the pcs! When actually playing I try my best to use my character not just to their own end, but also to try my best within my characters personality, to empower other players. My fatal flaw is definitely my attention span, I am distracted very easiily, something I have been working to mitigate for a while, but that I'm not sure I'll ever fully ditch. I am looking for a Saturday game that starts no later than 12am GMT (yes I know thats technically thursday xD). I also have little preference for the system.

Hello, my name is Threydan and i am looking for a game for me and my friend to join. I am 25 and my friend is 24. We both have a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted. In other words: we wanna take the game serious, but we also wanna have the space to goof off and do silly things. In terms of combat/roleplay we hope for around a 50/50. 60/40 or 40/60 works for us too. We hope to join a new campaign, but are okay with one that has been going for a few sessions. We both have characters in mind we wanna play, not fully fledged out though as we would still wanna make sure our characters fit the setting and party. My friend is planning on playing a sorcerer and i'm planning on playing a wizard. The dynamic we hope to go for is a sort of rivalry, where we both try to say that our class is better and try to one up eachother, along with some banter. I like to collect (and read) TTRPG books/manuals and have read most of the 2014 D&D Player Handbook and significant portions of the DM Guide. I'm also a board game player and collector and I would say that one of the things that entices me to TTRPGs is the social aspect. I would love to have an in person group but would also be good playing online, especially from the ease of getting together. I work from home, have a camera and mic setup, and an accustomed to being on camera and talking in meetings. Another thing I'm super interested in is just playing a TTRPG in general. I want to create a character, start playing, go on adventures, watch my character and team grow, get some cool weapons and loot, and build memories. I don't specialize in any one class or archetype. Weekend games are preferable since I have Friday-Sunday completely free, but later in the day (after 4:30) Monday-Thursday are also doable. Just a newbie whos always been interested in DnD

Hello! I've been playing D&D for pretty much my entire life. When I first started, I played 3.5e (not my favorite system, admittedly), which eventually led me to 5e, my go-to system ever since. Over the years, I've branched out and played a variety of other TTRPG systems, including Pathfinder, GURPS, Palladium, Shadowrun, Blades in the Dark, and many more. As a result, I've got plenty of experience with TTRPGs in all their different forms, and I'm more than comfortable adapting to new rulesets, mechanics, and homebrew content. When it comes to 5e, I know the rules like the back of my hand! (5.5e, on the other hand, is still unexplored territory for me, as I haven't had the pleasure of playing a game using that system just yet.) My last 5e campaign ended about four years ago, and life has been a little too hectic to properly settle into another one since then.
