Hey ya’ll! 34 y/o (he/him) looking for a group to play some D&D! I played with some coworkers and friends during covid but we only got about 3 sessions in before a lot of the group fell off due to work issues, family issues, and just life during covid. All still friends but schedule doesn’t really work for us to play together. I had an absolute blast playing though and just never got the chance to try again. I’ve seen a fair amount of play through campaigns on YouTube (currently watching Campaign 2 of Critical Role) so generally familiar with the basics and wiling to do the homework to get up-to-snuff with everyone if needed! I have a character I want to play that I had started on my previous campaign (would reroll them and start their level back if needed as well!) but also very open to playing a character that more fits the group or need for diversity in classes. Open and friendly to all, just looking for a fun group of folks to roleplay and combat with! Love good stories, intrigue, long term dynamics, weaving backstories into the narrative and all that good jazz! Good with video or just audio Discord calls. Heyyy ive never completed a full campaign and so desperate to play. I would love to join a party of passionate and dedicated people where we can have fun in and out of game. I would prefer a longer style game where our characters have plenty of room to grow and develop.

I am completely new to the game; a kind stranger on the Redd of its told me that I'd probably have a better chance to find a game by making a profile here. I've played two sessions in my first game a few months ago, but had to leave due to scheduling conflicts. I unfortunately have a rather tight schedule, both as a full-time student and a grown adult with a job, meaning my only sure-fire free times are between 4PM and 10:30PM on Saturdays and Sundays, EST. Hello! My name is Parker, a sophomore in high school somewhere in the US. I'm looking for a group to play with, Dungeon Master and other players, online, on discord or roll20 or whatever other platform, and in D&D 5e (2014 or 2024, makes little to no difference to me)! I've been wanting to play for a couple months now, so I've done some reading, made other characters, and listened to plenty of Legends of Avantris, enough to know how the game is played, but just was never able to myself! Hello, Im Red, but most people call me Gingy. Im looking for an awesome group that would be willing to take me under their wing and show me the ropes. Ive been interested in DND for years but have never really been around people that play. Well Im tired of waiting for a group around me and Im out to find one. Im 24, Live in Central USA, and have almost no clue what Im doing! I somewhat know the basics, Ive watched a fair amount of "Beginners" videos. I used to roleplay tons when I was younger, and love a good story. Im available Wednesdays during the day until about 6:30pm CST, Saturday after 5:30pm CST into Sunday ending at 4:30pm CST (I work two jobs) so Saturday nights are the best bet! Most of my RPG builds consist of a mix of healing and defense. Im always a team player, and want everyone to succeed.

I am a guy from the Central South of the United States who is looking for Primarily a Pathfinder 1e game on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings and isn't afraid of using non-srd material. That said, I'd also be interested in 5e, Shadowrun 4e, Wrath and Glory, and other similar systems. I mostly play Paladins, Clerics, Barbarians, and Warlocks in the games I play, and more recently I wanted to switch things up when it comes to pathfinder, since I'm not used to spellcasting in the game and I wanted to ease into it with a Warpriest or even go full War Wizard. That said, I do want to try out an archer build someday aswell. For my playstyle, I generally adapt to the game itself, although I like a balance of combat/crunch and roleplay. My method for learning games is to create a character concept, to then build a backstory, finish the build guide for myself, and finally to then flesh out the backstory for the character, trying to be as lore accurate as I can be with the information I can find. I do work a day job, and I play music on the side, so while I would love to accept every game invite, I simply cannot join every table. I am looking for a group of people who are more than just players at a table; I want to make friends. I've been playing TTRPG for the last 7 years with D&D, VTM, CoC, Star Wars, and a few others under my belt. I've been DM-ing for the last 5 years and currently have a game going on Fridays. But I'm missing playing a character and being in a world I'm not in control of. I love role-playing characters and how they would realistically be, and really enjoy spellcasting and the complexity of spell casting itself (lots of flavor). I love playing in a very structured world that has rules, stipulations, and expectations, and getting to see how my players can bend them. # What I offer: Strengths- * **High Commitment:** I love doing this. Before I join, when creating my character, and throughout the campaign, I will ask about world lore, settings, characters, and any other questions you or I may have. I am not the type to ghost or lose interest, and tend to get extremely emotionally invested in settings that I'm involved in. * **Awesome note-taker:** I will usually do notes in character and have no problem sharing them with the group. I prefer to take my notes in a notebook and not online since it feels more *roleplayie!* I am just a terrible speller, so beware. * **Great attention span:** I have a really good focus when I'm at the table because I love playing and rarely find it boring. I don't like to get on my phone or do other stuff, and I find it frustrating if players aren't engaged with other players' stories. * **Flavor:** I will flavor everything and anything that you let me. Spells are my favorite thing to flavor, crafting verbal phrases to speak, hand gestures, and mixing material components in. Attacks and how they look, along with whether they hit or not, and the outcome of said attack. Even attacks that fail to hit me, I like to flavor how they missed if the DM doesn't. Regardless, I like to roleplay the mechanics of this game to better help the story, and it also keeps me engaged. Weakness- yes, unfortunately, I'm not perfect, and I think it's important to share weaknesses that you know you have. * **Humor:** Cursed with great notetaking and attention span, I have been crafted with a very small funny bone. Doesn't mean I won't laugh or anything, but I just tend to have a more serious demeanor, so don't turn to me for cracking jokes. It is my burden to bear =(. * **Voices:** I can't do voices; I'll try, but I won't succeed. You'll get either my normal voice, gruff me, or sassy me; that's it. # Looking for: * **LGBTQIA+** (at least a little) * **Long-term** campaign (at least a year): I would love a game that goes from level 1-2 to like 12-15. * **Weekly** on **Monday nights,** earliest 7 pm eastern. * **Discord**: voice and **VIDEO** * Video cams are required for me. Hello! You can call me Fume, or Angelo, whichever is easier for you. I'm just a chill dude that loves to roleplay and tell fun and enjoyable stories alongside other cool people. D&D is my favorite hobby and I absolutely love getting invested into people's lore and either making characters that feel like they are actually part of the world building or, when DMing, making a story that really revolves around the PC's and feels like their choices really matter, because they do! In terms of preferences, I'm about 60-40 split in for roleplay-combat respectively, but just about any ration that isn't too unbalanced is something I can sink my teeth into. I love collaborating with others on stories or backgrounds if there's mutual interest present. I fully understand that Death is, more often than not, part of the game, and while it's a bit of a bummer to lose a character, it's part of the experience. I'm open to dark and mature themes, as it's part of storytelling, so long as nothing crosses any boundaries of the players and excessive detail isn't used. There's a difference between elluding to the horrific crimes of a faction to set the tone and story, and reading a gore fic to shock your players, yk? I'm also strongly in favor of clear communication between fellow players and DM's, especially for the grounds of comfort zones and such. And I strongly request that if I ever do something that bothers someone or makes them feel uncomfortable to PLEASE reach out to me and let me know! I want everyone to be having an enjoyable time (DM included), so please let me know if there's anything that rubs you the wrong way. In terms of what I'm currently looking for, a buddy and I are hoping to join a 5e game that plays any day Sun-Thur, preferrably after 8pm CST if possible, as I don't get off work till about 7, and it's roughly a half hour drive home. We'd also prefer not to play with Minors, as we are both adults and its just easier to not have to censor yourself. That said, younger players are not a deal breaker, but definitely prefer an adult party. This is my first time posting anything here so hopefully we can party up and have some memorable sessions! ^^
