Hello. My name is Gabe (32m)(he/him). I like solving puzzles and mysteries, and am probably a little more interested in role-play than combat in that regard, unless combat can be turned into a puzzle to solve. What I enjoy most though is figuring out ways to McGyver solutions to problems from the tools and materials available to me. I'm autistic, and am generally better at writing than acting/improv. I tried a PbP game on Discord a while back, and it seemed to be working well for me, but the DM had to cancel. I've DMed a little for my sibling and their friend (taking some serious liberties with the game mechanics and mostly making stuff up as I went), and I have a passing acquaintance with 5e, BitD, and Fate (Unwritten), (mostly through YouTube), but have never actually been a player and would like to be; hoping to make some friends. I'd prefer a game that's mostly PG-rated, (just personal preference), and I don't mind playing fast and loose with the rules for comedic effect or for the "Rule of Cool." I'm available just about any time Mon-Thurs (PST), but my schedule may change. Again, PbP would give me greater flexibility in regards to time.

Hi, I'm Revel, I'm a 20 year old enby from England with autism and (very likely to have ADHD). I came to this site after someone on Reddit suggested it as a place to look for games. For the past few months I've been wanting to get into Werewolf: the Forsaken. I was considering GMing, but after I decided to do some basic planning for a chronicle, I found it way too complicated and effort-intensive for someone at my 0 hours of experience with the system. I'm hoping to join a group with some other people that are more experienced, or at least have more of an instinctive understanding of it than I do. I'm ready and willing to learn, and have a very flexible schedule, pretty much any evening (in GMT) other than a Sunday is one I can be available for as far as the forseeable future is concerned, so I'll pretty much always be available to play. I prefer to play online over Discord with microphones (I don't have a webcam), using a VTT like Roll20 or Foundry. While Forsaken is my primary interest, I'm also fond of Pathfinder 2e, Shadow of the Demon Lord, Vampire: the Masquerade (20th Anniversary edition), Mage: the Ascension, Changeling: the Lost, Geist: the Sin Eaters, Deviant: the Renegades, and the Wildsea. Out of the TTRPGs I'm most interested in, I have the most experience with Shadow of the Demon Lord and am willling to GM it.

Hello, there! My name is Rampy (AG; any pronouns) and I'm looking to take part in a long-form campaign. Preferably on a weekly basis, but as long as we have consistent, sizable sessions, bi-weekly is fine. I have ample experience with the D&D 5e system (2014, not so much 2024) and enjoy all aspects of the game. I am new to roleplaying, but eager to grow in that area. I like to think I have a diverse playstyle, capable of filling gaps in parties in needed, but I tend to lean toward martial classes and the "jerk with a heart of gold" archetype. While I prefer D&D 5e (mostly due to familiarity), I am flexible in terms of what systems. I've also played Deathwatch, Mutants and Masterminds, Pathfinder 2e, Rogue Trader, Shadowrun. Additionally, I'm willing to try new systems or the numerous D&D 5e homebrews such as Final Fantasy XIV, Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Star Wars, etc. In the lengthy gaps between campaigns, I've spent an inordinate amount of time homebrewing and creating characters. I tend to like sprinkling a little (or sometimes a lot) of homebrew in my characters, as I feel it helps them feel more personal. This is not a requirement for me to enjoy the game, but such allowances (with DM approval, of course) are greatly appreciated. My only limitations in terms of player conduct and game content are the usual things: No bigotry, communicate when you have problems, keep in-game conflict in-game, and be tasteful when describing horrible or otherwise NSFW things. As a Keeper I've done mostly smaller adventures and one shots but as a player I've done some big campaigns too. Roleplaying is my favorite aspect of TTRPGs and I love horror/thriller stories, so I knew this system was gonna be my favorite when I started. I tend to GM things with a "fuck around and find out" approach but always with the story and overall enjoyment in mind. Meaning: I'm very open to whatever ideas a player has, love improvised/creative solutions, I'm somewhat rules light, but don't expect me to don't give consequences if you tried to do something stupid and the dice are against you lol. So if you're a bit chaotic we're probably gonna click. As a player I usually like to interact with NPCs and players, so investigation through roleplaying. In DnD I enjoy combat too, but for sure prefer the worldbuilding and exploring things with a party.

Played a lot of 1e some time ago and recently gotten back into DnD with 5e2024 when my kids got interested. I consider a good campaign as one the requires a level of role playing with plot hooks tied to the characters in some fashion. As such, I am open to modifying or adding to character backgrounds to allow these hooks. I am open to nearly any class and race, although my comfort with spell casters (incl clerics) often finds me in these roles.

That's exactly what I'm here for. I'm heavy into roleplay, and really enjoy getting immersed in my character! I tend to try to fold twists or hidden aspects of my characters for other players to find. I also love getting to interact with other characters! I have a big circle of friends who are all into PLAYING ttrpgs, but most of them are players with no interest in DMing, so I've been a bit of a forever DM for a while. About Me (Player & Human) I am relatively new to D&D, but very excited and genuinely committed to playing. I’ve been in two campaigns so far, making it to around level 6–7 before real life interrupted the groups. That experience just made me want to play more, not less. GTA RP was my foot in the door for roleplaying. Watching people fully commit to characters and long-form storytelling hooked me, and that naturally led me into tabletop RPGs. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with the creativity, collaboration, and shared storytelling side of games like D&D and Call of Cthulhu, even if I haven’t had as many chances to play as I’d like yet. As a player, I care a lot about: • Roleplay and character consistency • Respecting the table and other players’ moments • Showing up prepared and on time • Playing characters that support the story, not hijack it I’m not a rules lawyer and I don’t need to be the main character. Hello! I am a heavy improv DM, not in the sense that I improv scenarios for my characters, but in the sense that I improv the actions that the players take. I usually start with a broad outline for my sessions but have hundreds of pages of lore within my world that I have memorized to some extent. 200+ Consistents(gods) of the world, 19 countries and 2 different realms where the stories take place. I've been working on this world for about 9 years now and ran a 7 year campaign alongside numerous one shots. I do all of my own maps and stories but use things like Strixhaven or Strahd to create my stories that make players feel like something familiar is available. I do a lot of voices and like to act but never feel like a character is ever mad or actually attracted to you. It's all roleplay and I would like for everybody to understand that. I allow flirting at my table as long as nobody becomes parasocial about it as I have lost players to that in the past. If you can put a boundary between dnd and real life then I'm probably not the DM for ya. Sorry. :( I have a campaign I am running on Saturday at 12pm CST but I'm currently looking for players as I also run 2 other campaigns. I have run 4 campaigns simultaneously for about 3 years while my main one extended into 7 year territory and my players and I met up in the states for 3 years of in person sessions. It was amazing and I'm hoping to find a group that vibes with me in the same way. I'm a 32 year old man and I do record most sessions. I don't record them so that I can share them, I simply record them because I like to listen to them and take notes. I find taking notes during session gets me out of the character I'm currently playing and want to give the best experience possible to my players! I use music from spotify for the ambiance and, as previously mentioned, use inkarnate to create all my own custom maps. :) The world itself is extremely high fantasy and filled with many different magic systems and homebrew mechanics we can get into if you're interested in playing with me! :)
