I'm a 23 year old player that's been playing for over half their lifetime! I started playing when I was 10 years old back when my father designed a simple TTRPG system for me to enjoy and spend time together. Ever since, I fell in love with the hobby and introduced many players into homebrew systems and even got them to read and play actual systems after several years of gaming. I focus heavily on informed improvisation and adjusting to my player's wishes, as well as introducing them into the narrative both by their backstory or the future events being related to themes and character arcs. I used to dislike D&D but after having an actually good experience (which took a while, since I had several poor ones before) I started to DM for the most popular system and learnt how to love it. We're definitely in a toxic relationship.

Hi everybody! I am a 18f beginner who never played before who is very interested in starting to play D&D with a small group of people who are willing to welcome me into their group. I am currently a senior in high school but I'd be starting uni this fall. I'd prefer playing with people close in age but I'm not that picky and I already have friends with many people in their mid twenties. You can call me Sapphire or Saph or any other nickname you think of, I don't mind. I am a quiet person at first and observe a lot and think in the background. But once I start to open up, I open up, and a lot of people say my humor is the blunt honest out of nowhere type. I'm easygoing, laidback and just looking to have to have some fun while making friends. I like to think I'm creative as I read a lot and I write (or more accurately daydream of writing my own fantasy stories) I'm from the timezone EST and I'm free Fridays (5-10pm) and all day Saturday (till 10pm.) Looking for an in-person D&D 5e group (2 players) My partner and I are looking to join a local, in-person D&D 5e group. We each have about a year of experience and would love to become part of a regular table with a great story and good company. About us: Two players, ages 43 and 35, with around one year of D&D 5e experience each. We enjoy character-driven play, roleplay, and long-term story arcs, along with plenty of exploration and combat. We like a balance of serious storytelling and lighthearted fun, and we’re reliable about attending sessions, giving as much notice as possible if something unavoidable comes up. Availability: Weekends are best for us, ideally mid-afternoon, but we’re flexible. I have played D&D and other TTRPGs on and off since '79, when I started with the Basic Set and module B1 (not The Keep on the Borderlands - that is B2 - B1 was a dungeon crawl with a Gelatinous Cube)! I'm a Gen-X & I like a good mix of RP (includiing intrigue!), creative problem solving, and combat. I actually started as a DM, and then shifted to spending more time as a player, running my own games intermittently. I am currently into the 2024 edition rules for 5e (except that I much prefer the 2014 DMG). I am also interested in exploring new TTRPGs. I have tried a variety of older systems, including Gamma World, Paladium, CoC (one-shots!), Rolemaster, VTM (not really my thing), Werewolf and others. I used to own several Traveller books, but only got so far as creating star systems, planets, aliens and ships - never having launched an actual game or campaign. I would love to try a space TTRPG at some point. I am most familiar with AD&D, 2e, and 5e. My exposure to 3e was through playing Neverwinter Nights, but it seemed pretty solid! I am currently working on building my own 5e homebrew campaign in Foundry VTT. In the meantime I would love to meet some new people and play some more! IMPORTANT: Also, I recently decided to boycott Discord due to their use of invasive AI to profile its users. I am against AI profiling. I am however, now on Stoat, which is very much like how Discord used to be before it added live video.

I've been looking to find the right group for a PF1e character I want to play. I've tried a few times before, but the group either fell apart too soon, or the RP options were far too restricted. Specifically, I want to play a summoner who is romantically and sexually involved with their eidolon. It is also a gay (MM) relationship. I'm not looking for ERP (although I'm not opposed to it), but I do want a group where I'm not feeling like I need to walk on eggshells about the relationship. I also hope the GM would be willing to bend on some RAW for the sake of some game mechanics reflecting the RP.

Hello! I'm shai, nice to meet you! I am a busy student and artist, who hasn't played in a while. I am looking for an online game that runs any day for now but I do have work. That schedule is current for the next two months, but then after that, I am not available Wednesdays or Fridays I am very very new. I say this because I've only played two homebrew campaigns, and even then I didn't quite get a good grasp on it. Also, I didn't even know that there were so many different types of campaigns like Star Wars or Blade Runner, Insane. That sounds so cool. I'm pretty much down for any kind of campaign. Open to any genre/style of game, but I prefer solid mid-length campaigns that have satisfying beginnings, middles, and conclusions---too many bad experiences with long-term campaigns that fizzle out due to life, unfortunately. That said, with the right group, I'm open to something long-term. Big fan of in-person, but I know my way around Roll20 (limited D&D Beyond experience, but happy to learn). I have some flexibility with time/days, but evenings are prefered. I'm an theatre teacher and actor, so there are times when I may have show conflicts for a stretch of a week or two (depending on regular sessions), but I'd be sure to communicate with folks beforehand and try to make sessions a priority (I love me some D&D!).

Looking to try to get into D&D again. Since my divorce I lost my game group and looking to get back into it. Would prefer to play in-person. I live in the Waterbury/Bristol, CT area. I am not opposed to online play, but my previous attempt to do online play...ended with miscommunication drama and left a bad taste. I have extreme social anxiety, but once I am comfortable with the group, I have a 45 year life time of gaming in my repertoire. I only really know D&D 2014, and have very little desire to learn 2024 (i have not heard much good about it). I played Shadowrun 4E for a hot second as well, but would need a complete refresher. I am available basically any time and any day of the week, as long as I have a few days advanced notice.
