About myself: I go by Halkan, and I'm a 32 yr old Black queer person looking for a campaign to join; I'm open to all settings, and the only content I won't tolerate in a campaign is anything condoning sexual violence or genocide of any kind. I've been learning to play since around 2016, and have played several campaigns in the past. I also do light homebrews, sprinkling in ancestral cultures as part of my character's gear and mannerisms. I recently started cosplaying and doing skits as my character, but I don't use campaign antics as inspiration unless the rest of the group is okay with it. I'm available for campaigns running on Wednesdays and/or Saturdays, and I have both Discord and Roll20 accounts, though I am open to making accounts on other platforms if necessary. About my character: I play a high elf bard with the sage background; I don't do the whole "horny bard" thing because it's overplayed to the point of being annoying, and flavour them for both combat and support, depending on what the party needs. Their backstory is that they studied in a spy academy in their bronze elf city, though their passion has always been art and history. They left on the eve of their centennial birthday to learn about the rest of the world through the songs and stories of the bards the world over, delving into ruins to find the truth behind the legends. They mainly travel on horseback, carrying a shotel (curved shortsword of the Oromo people) and dagger. If starting with max gold rather than adventuring gear, they'll have a shortsword and dagger as their main weapon, studded leather armour, a lute, an entertainer's pack, a draft horse with a riding saddle packed with a hunting trap and fishing gear, and 2 gold pieces left over; if starting with adventuring gear, as much as possible will be swapped out to get as close to their preferred loadout as possible.

Hi there, I'm Avocado, or Avo for short. I've been playing TTRPGs in general for around 7 years now, and have been playing D&D 5e for about 6 of these years. I'm 19, Male, and am really hoping to find a group to be a player in that will fit neatly in my week, as I haven't played in a campaign in many years, since I've kind of been stuck in the "forever DM" spot with my parties. Half of the reason is due to me cooking up the weirdest most unique campaign ideas that I can think of. I've played quite a few different systems, such as Lancer, D&D 3.5, Mutants and Masterminds, obviousely D&D 5e, and many many many custom TTRPGs that I've playtested for friends, or server members. I'm a huge magic nerd, so I tend to play casters, but I also like to try a new class for every campaign I join, so martials are always open to me, especially if the setting requires a more martial class. Now what am I looking for? I'm looking for a group that prioritizes role-playing over combat, but is still more then willing to participate in it. I personally tend to get really immersed in the worlds that my DMs create for us, so I usually am slotted in as the note-taker, since like I really like the lore-aspect of playing in a game. I’m Daniel, and I’m looking for a highly immersive, narrative-driven campaign where the veil between stats and story is thin. I am currently eager to bring a specific concept to a living world: Silvax, a shadow-focused druid walking the path of a fully fleshed-out, custom-built subclass called the "Circle of the Umbra." Accompanied by his raven familiar, Krow, the build blends stealth, necrotic themes, and deep roleplay to explore the space between the light and the dark. For me, characters are independent organisms with their own flaws, traits, and free will. I believe roleplay shouldn't stop when initiative is rolled. Whether we are orchestrating covert, shadow-ops style maneuvers or locked in methodical, turn-by-turn combat, I stay deeply immersed with full dialogue. I highly respect DMs who treat their world as a true, living element of the game and let a character's true nature drive their choices. (And yes, I have the complete level 1-20 mechanics for the Umbra circle ready for DM review!) Hi, I'm TB! (27, he/him) I'm a student teacher from Denmark. I love a bunch of stuff, like history, acting, biking and gaming. But most importantly for this site, I love ttrpgs. In my heart there are two wolves: one's a gamer and the other's a storyteller. I love nerding out about combat, finding satisfying combos and optimizing character sheets. I also love when the story takes precedent, and shaping a serious story together with friends over several years is one of the deeper joys I've experienced so far. I haven't really found a great balance between the two in Dungeons and Dragons yet. I feel like a DnD game benefits from choosing to be either combat- or story-focused. Both are great fun, but I somewhat prefer when the story takes center. As a player, I'm thoughtful and creative, and I very much like sharing the spotlight. I am kind of introverted around other people, and English is my third language, so I might be a bit quiet at the beginning until I warm up to a group. I've recently discovered Daggerheart, and am very keen to explore that system further, though I never say no to a good game of DnD :)

Hi, my name is Felipe, nicknamed “Fil.” I’m 25 years old, I use he/him pronouns, and I’m Brazilian (currently living in the northeast region of the country). I was introduced to roleplay when I played World of Warcraft as a teenager. At the time, I had no idea what roleplaying really was, but I gradually started to enjoy it, until I reached the point where I preferred roleplaying over other types of content. After that, I joined some roleplaying circles, mostly focused on D&D. As for campaigns I’ve DMed, I’ve run OotA (Out of the Abyss) and CoS (Curse of Strahd). I considered running PotA (Princes of the Apocalypse), but the lore and narration didn’t really hook me. I never seriously considered RoT (Rise of Tiamat), but I might give it some thought. Right now, I’m definitely thinking about DMing LMoP (Lost Mine of Phandelver). I’m a very eccentric and lively person, full of energy and always willing to communicate with others. I’m using different groups and platforms to improve my English, both in comprehension and conversation. I always focus on having fun rather than being overly strict about rules, if everyone is having fun, then I believe the main goal of the game has been achieved. My time zone is BRT, usually 4 hours ahead of PST. I’m more available to join campaigns on Saturdays (in fact, it’s the only day I can consistently dedicate to a long-term campaign). What I like most about D&D (or roleplaying in general) is the lore you can build, the scenarios you can create, and the organic consequences of each character’s actions. I believe coherence is more important than “God Mode,” "Mary Sue characters", or anything like that. If I’m about to die, then so be it - if it makes sense, I’d honestly be more bothered if my character didn’t die. So, in one word, what I value most in a good session is: coherence. Hello, I'm Emily and I've been playing D&D since 2020 (yes, it started as a lockdown hobby!) I have an in-person game going with my OG group, but we struggle to get together regularly as we're all boring adults with too many responsibilities now, so I would love to find an online game to join and play every week. Both of the campaigns I have played in have been homebrews with a balance between rule of cool and RAW, so I would say I tend to gravitate towards those kinds of games - although I'm definitely open to trying some of the pre-build games. I enjoy a good balance between role playing and combat, and find it hard to say if I prefer one to the other. I feel as though good combat scenes can support better role playing, acting as an ice breaker early on and building comradery between the players. I love experiencing the development of the relationships between players (and NPC's! Especially the ones that were never meant to be significant and get given an on-the-spot name - like Gavin). Magic users are my favourite characters to play and I will spend multiple hours pouring over the spells anytime we're due to level up, and potentially asking you annoying questions about which spells you think are best. Apologies in advance. I'm based in the UK but I'm a nomadic pet sitter, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I can make most time zones and days work. I love horror, mystery, and generally anything that's a little bit eerie - but honestly I'm open to any kind of campaign, whether it's serious, seriously scary or light-hearted fun. I haven't used the 2024 rules yet, but I would be happy to learn them.

Hi I'm VM, started playing D&D5e a few years ago and then started DMing (mostly). Last campaign DMed was a modern take on Fantasy with the party going from 1-12 level. My playstyle is balanced as I enjoy both roleplaying and combats, as a DM I ran a few modules (sprinkled with some hombrew to tie PC backstories or backgrounds) but open to Homebrew as long as it's fun for everyone. -Schedulewise, because of work most likely the frequency would be weekly (would get my schedule a week before), but would like to go long-term with a steady party. -Just as heads up, first language its not english so I can try to incorporate my accent into the game

Hello, I am Brewer. I have been an avid fan of the fantasy genre since I was a child. I started playing D&D in 2017 when my sister bought a starter kit and invited everyone to play. We each took a turn GMing and I fell in love with it. As someone who wrote stories as a hobby, TTRPG's provided an excellent outlet for me to create worlds and stories to introduce my family and friends to. I prefer to run homebrew campaigns but I have dipped my toes into modules before. I love roleplaying and strategic gameplay. I love goofing around and I love intense and solemn moments. I am a professional DM running games in D&D 5e, Daggerheart, Comsere RPG, and Hellboy RPG. Booking price $20 a player for long term campaigns, $15 per person for one shots.

Playstyle: Anything from casual to hardcore. I'm not bothered by player death. I enjoy the RP session with no combat as much as the combat sessions. I love theory crafting and optimization. I have the most fun playing support/controll/disrupter characters. My favourite character of all time was a pacifist wizard who had no damage spells. I get more serotonin from locking down a room of enemies with Hypnotic Pattern than I would from killing every single one of them with a Fireball. Logistics: I have a very free and flexible schedule. My only dependants are two dog (who may get noisy during a session, but that is what the mute button is for).

LOOKING FOR DM We are a group of 5 looking for a dm who is willing to run a game that contains high fantasy and can adapt with homebrewing (ie. players creating their character home lands, custom classes, races, etc).
