Greetings! I’m a story‑focused player who loves digging into character motivations, meaningful choices, and the kind of roleplay that makes sessions feel memorable. I’m looking for a consistent group, ideally in person in Houston, TX, meeting on Wednesday evenings or weekends. My schedule can vary, but once a time is set, I’m reliable and committed. I play with the party’s well‑being and the story’s momentum in mind. I’m not big on selfish character goals; I enjoy characters who grow through cooperation, tough decisions, and shared challenges. I’m here for narrative-first play involving emotional beats, character arcs, strange magic, mysteries, and the occasional “we’re in this together” moment. Combat is fun when it’s meaningful or cinematic, but I don’t need to punish goblins or reanimated corpses for a whole three-hour session. I’m less drawn to political intrigue, but I’m very happy in fantasy or sci‑fi settings with rich worlds, interesting stakes, and room for characters to breathe and evolve. If your campaign values atmosphere, collaboration, and characters who feel like real people, we’ll get along great.

I love the collaborative nature of tabletop most, and why I always hold myself to be flexible and prioritize everyone's enjoyment and keep the table flowing! My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

I am brand new and haven't got any experience really just from what I've seen when watching campaigns but not actually playing. I am on EST and would like to have a later start time around 9:30PM that lasts 3-4Hrs on a weekly basis. I've played tabletop rpgs for ten years now, as a player and as a dungeon master. I'm currently mastering a DnD campaign with friends. Three friends who were signed up recently to play in our first Daggerheart Hexcrawl Campaign, when everything suddenly fell apart and our DM cancelled everything as we were at the height of our excitement just days out from session 0. We are open to having more players, if you wanna run a table of 5-6+, we have varying degrees of TTRPG experience mostly with D&D but have played Cortex/Blades in the Dark/Cosmere/Delta Green/Call of Cthulhu but are looking to expand into DH which we have very little experience with, two of us have done a one shot and the third is brand new to DH. We are very vibes based and have been told we are a good chill group, LGBTQ+ is a must as one player is transgender. We don't really do character voices but try our best to play our characters true. We love cosmic horror themes, darker tone could work as well but we would also enjoy a comedy through the feywilds or other cool lands you might have been itching to throw players into :) again, we go with the flow and just try to make sure the fun and enjoyment is top of the list, even if we may take a few hours.....or... sessions to pick a locked door. We are just looking to have a good time, learn Daggerheart and go on an adventure! All levels of DM welcomed, please feel free to ask questions as well. Sunday 2pm-5pm works best for us, as one player is West Coast and the other two are East Coast; we are willing to commit weekly or bi-weekly whichever allows you to prep without the stress!

Forever GM here looking to become a player. I would like to play a game that is roleplay and combat focused. I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). Sunday, Tuesdays and Wendesdays are out of the question as they are my days that are always full, but I have flexible days other days. You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E systemor Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. For the most part, I am available on evenings (except Monday nights). I prefer bi-weekly sessions, though I can accommodate weekly if needed.

Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most of the week; just can't do Sundays, or evenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Because of this, I have a lot of ideas of classes I'd like to play, while I've only actually played a handful. My current idea is to try out sorcerer, but paladin and warlock seem cool too. I also just started watching Rigamaroll, and I'm fascinated by the Daggerheart system, so I'd love to try that as well.

I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. I've been playing D&D for around 5 years, although I've only ever played with my IRL friends. Unfortunately, everyone's schedules have gotten busier, so I'm finally making an effort to find a new group because I really miss playing! By the way, English is not my first language (I speak it fluently though) and I have an accent that I can't get rid of. I have lots of experience playing DnD (and a little bit of other TTRPGs) and was often described as a 'dream player' by my other DMs, because I create interesting characters, let DMs have fun with them and be heavily invested in the lore, creating theories, connecting dots and catching hints like an eagle catching a ball from that one meme. My play style? Love both the role playing aspect and fighting, but I love building a beautiful story with other players the most. I don't fight for spotlight and don't mind others having their moments, sometimes holding a supporting role for a long time. I, myself, love playing a long game with my characters, so I can hold on to my character's secret for years (been there, done that). As for equipment, I have a good mic and a webcam. I rarely cancel DnD sessions unless I absolutely can't attend (so sick that I can't get out of bed, have a flight, etc). I am also pretty open to talking to my party outside DnD, discussing characters, creating content for the party/characters, playing video games and so on.

I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.

I'm someone who can be a little reserved at first, but I tend to use humor to break the ice and will eventually become a chatterbox once I warm up to people. I'm a jax of all trades when it comes to creative stuff (drawing, painting, crafting, writing, roleplaying, etc.) and usually like to incorporate that into my campaigns! some of my favorite past and present media are project hail mary, arcane, bg3, phantom of the opera, hannibal (the tv series), and bands like my chemical romance, sleep token, and will wood. experience I've been listening to and watching d&d campaigns for the better part of a decade, with a year and a half of in-person play and a little under a year of online play, though I'm in a couple ongoing campaigns at the moment! I'm most familiar with discord for voice and roll20 as a VTT but have experience using d&d beyond too. I've never played a non-d&d system but would be open to learning! playstyle I love lore and character/world building! roleplay, backstories, exploration, puzzle solving, political intrigue, discovering the mysteries of the universe, etc. are my favorite ways to get invested. the longer the lore doc the better, in my opinion! my playstyle is very narrative and roleplay focused. exploring the world and developing characters are the core foundations of any good d&d game for me. I love to embody my characters and put them through tough scenarios to see how they'll navigate and learn from the challenges, and to make the good moments in the campaign feel well deserved! I also like to take the lead during problem solving scenarios, like figuring out puzzles, making a plan of action, or piecing together a mystery. I love taking notes too, and will average about 800-1200 words of creative writing style notes per session that I always share with everyone! with that being said, I do believe combat is a great way to enhance and/or further the story, especially when everyone is descriptive with their actions. depending on session length, I'd prefer to have some kind of combat at least once every other session, though this is pretty flexible. availability I'm located in EST and currently only available on fridays and saturdays, though I can do any time for sessions as long as it ends before midnight EST.

I love lore and love to explore the mysteries and secrets of the setting. I do not shy away from combat either and view it as another tool for rp. I always try to make mechanics of my character, reflect the roleplaying aspects and their story. I usually play characters who are interested in the world, its lore, and knowledge. Inquisitive, curious people to some extent, I love to play spellcasters, usually those who are mechanically oriented around support of the party. Trying to find a consistent group to get to know that can play on weekends. Prefer DND 5E 2024, but I'm willing to play 2014 version, Daggerheart, PF2E, or similar feeling games, though I'd need time to learn PF2E or anything I didn't list specifically. As a player I'm more combat focused, but don't think that I don't like to RP too. I play a variety of different characters so there's no one trope that I'm known for. I do work for 2-6 weeks at a time offshore, so I wouldn't be able to play for long periods of time. However when I'm home I'm able to make most days and times work. I'm looking for a weekly group gathering on either Monday or Tuesday nights (6pm+), I've played a bunch of D&D 5e but I'm looking to try something new! so far I'm interested in: Pathfinder 2e Monster of the Week Lancer WOD or other systems that sound interesting! I tend to get overly invested in fictional worlds, which is probably why I'm here. If you're looking for a player who cares about your world lore and actually wants to know why the grumpy tavern owner is moody, I'm your guy. I'm not really here to crunch numbers into oblivion or argue over combat grid geometry. I'm way more interested in the messy, collaborative storytelling part of things. Think less tactical strike force and more chaotic found family trying to survive the plot. So yeah, if your table leans heavily into deep roleplay, exploring the setting, and letting characters actually talk to each other before things inevitably blow up, we'll probably get along great. I've played D&D off & on for years, but I still feel very new to the game, especially as online part of it goes. I'm only so-so with role-playing, I'm more of a 'my character does/says' kind of guy than accents or garb. Though I have done other tricks like use mannerisms of my character so I keep 'in character'. I'm looking to play long term games. I prefer modules over heavy homebrewing, but a bit of it is pretty much always necessary, right... Even as I say that, there are three stories that I'd love to find a group to play with through them, as a character: Phandelver to Wildspace (just play thru modules from 0-Spelljammer), TMNTortles of Ravnica (self explanatory & probably heavily DM brewed), & Uprising in Undermountain... they all vary in brew necessity, but the latter one is a big goal I hope to achieve... a full run through current Undermountain, from the inside out as monstrous people trying to make things a little less wrong, while using the setting that is D&D's largest (afaik) dungeon, & it even has a couple dragons in it. I’m reliable, respectful, and looking for a friendly and inclusive group where everyone is invested in the game while still having fun together. I’m generally available on weekday evenings from 8:00 PM to midnight CEST (UTC+2), as well as on weekends, and I’m ideally looking for a weekly long-term campaign. I’m comfortable using Alchemy VTT, Foundry VTT, Roll20, Discord, or other online tools, and I have a good microphone. English isn’t my native language—French is—but I’m fluent and comfortable playing entirely in English. I may occasionally need a moment to find a specific word, but communication and roleplay in English are not an issue. I’m open to different settings and tones, although I particularly enjoy fantasy, character-driven stories, mysteries, exploration, and immersive worlds. I’m happy to discuss boundaries, expectations, and safety tools during a Session Zero.

SEEKING A GAME AROUND 4-6PM MY TIME (Fridays and/or Sundays) Hi, my name is Exi and I'm a GM of 10+ years, who now finds himslef with an open slot on Fridays and/or Sundays and would like to fill it either by GMing a game (only for a full group tho - I had enough searching for new players for now) or playing. If I'm to GM, I'll be running a game of DnD with a 5.19 ruleset and books, all of which I have and access will be provided. When it comes to playing I have no problem with trying something new, but I've played only DnD (many editions), Cyberpunk RED and KULT: Divinity Lost, but I think of myself as a rather quick learner.
