Hi, I'm Quinn but happy to go by Nifty. I'm a female in my 30s and I'm a beginner in all this. That said, I did play a DnD one shot online and fell in love with character creation and development, the collaboration of a varied team and the narrative work of a DM with imagination. As a player, I tend to be ballsy in my attacks and I play true to my character. I would love to get some gameplay under my belt and get a real grip on things online, but my ultimate goal is to at least try in person IRL and form some friendships. Hi, I am a chill guy, with a few years' worth of experience in DnD 5e (2014) and PF2e, with some Urban Shadows mixed in. My availability currently is friday evening/saturday morning most consistently, other days are dependant on my schedule for the week. Hello, My name is Aaron, I have played D&D 3.x and PF1e for many years. I prefer combat little over role play, but I have no problem role playing if need be. I like long lasting campaigns, level 1-20 and beyond. I prefer a weekly set game in voice and VTT. I do not like One-shoots or west march/living worlds. I prefer games like: 1. Sandboxes. 2. Mega Dungeons. 3. High Fantasy Homebrew Worlds/AP I do not like evil games or play with evil aligned player/characters. I'm an European player with 4 years of on & off D&D experience and around a decade with text based roleplaying & sessions.  I often enjoy games that focus on a smaller parts of an extensive world, with a constant dose of thrilling combat, fun & chaotic character interactions and mysteries that don't rely on cheap twists to keep themselves going. I enjoy dark/serious topics as much as a story of our characters basically dicking around. I prefer campaigns that are on the medium/longer side. I can do one-shots/short missions, but I find that I only really enjoy them when they are interconnected with a larger narrative. Currently interested in trying out other systems than D&D, most prominently Lancer(I love mechs) and Mutants&Mayhem(I love superheroes). Although I live in the GMT timezone, I'm no stranger to playing at unusual times to match people from other timezones.

 Hello, I'm Ed (they/them) !! I'm a 21yo artist and ex-theatre kid who is also a nerd! not a shocking combo I know, but this is relevant to the fact that I am a roleplay, story and heavy envestment type player and DM. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. I'm looking for a roleplay centered group. I'm pretty flexible in terms of game themes, though you may have to sell me on certain genres of horror. Flags/lines in terms of content are pretty open as well-- message me for a copy of my full content consent sheet. While I am currently DMing a campaign on Wednesday nights, I am free most other evenings and some mornings/afternoons. I may also be able to provide a place to play depending on the time and day.

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. I am a US veteran on the ace spectrum, queer and a trans woman. I will always be curteous and kind to all, except anyone that just generally doesn't believe that ALL individuals should be treated with the same level of dignity and respect. Not interested in paid games. Hi! My name is Mars (She/They) and I've been playing ttrpgs for nearly a decade now! My timezone is MST and my available hours are typically after Early Afternoon MST (think after 1pm MST) I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. I'm also a forever DM, and I have experience teaching new DMs, the hard part is just getting them to commit to taking up the mantle. I tend to like to play as characters that I've conceptualized beforehand, but deliberately make a bit hollow initially so that I can customize them to better fit within any campaign I might find myself joining.

I've played D&D off & on for years, but I still feel very new to the game, especially as online part of it goes. I'm only so-so with role-playing, I'm more of a 'my character does/says' kind of guy than accents or garb. Though I have done other tricks like use mannerisms of my character so I keep 'in character'. I'm looking to play long term games. I prefer modules over heavy homebrewing, but a bit of it is pretty much always necessary, right...  Even as I say that, there are three stories that I'd love to find a group to play with through them, as a character: Phandelver to Wildspace (just play thru modules from 0-Spelljammer), TMNTortles of Ravnica (self explanatory & probably heavily DM brewed), & Uprising in Undermountain... they all vary in brew necessity, but the latter one is a big goal I hope to achieve... a full run through current Undermountain, from the inside out as monstrous people trying to make things a little less wrong, while using the setting that is D&D's largest (afaik) dungeon, & it even has a couple dragons in it.  Hit me up, let me know... would like to play

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Hi, my name is Gideon (32; They/them). I am looking to join a campaign with a LGBTQ+ friendly group of adults Monday-Friday after 5pm or Saturday/Sunday after 6pm EST since I work two jobs. I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew.  Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story.   I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers! I am okay with modules or homebrew. A long-term campaign would be the best but I am down for shorter ones as well.  As for RP style, I am still struggling with accents beyond a few very bad ones (lol). I am autistic so I know I can sometimes be a little flat-toned, and I am working on watching videos for how to improve my library of accents! I enjoy learning about other's characters/stories, as well as the lore/story of the DM's world. I want a party that can be serious or silly but wants to tell a story together with the DM. I would love to get invested in characters and campaign. I want to build relationships with other player's characters and honor the effort they made in creating them, even if said character is Mr. Noodle's the Lizard who speaks only in puns.  Happy to be in a campaign with romance (consensual) or without. I am more than happy with detailed worlds and involved/complex plots. I am a lover of Dune (books and films), The Expanse (books and series), Lord of the Rings (books and films), Poppy War, Red Rising, Arrows of the Queen, and others.  I do not get inebriated at the tables and never have, so if that is something other players or you as a DM worry about or have dealt with, you won't with me. I am also an artist and love to doodle for campaigns.  I have a Discord and working mic/camera. I am a note-taker and pay attention. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation:   I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage. Absolutely no RP of SA.   I am okay with darker themes, but I don't want to be in campaigns with fantasy racism or "women and AFAB people can't be fighters" stuff where the DM uses it as an excuse for their sexism. If it's part of the world, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it and make playing anything other than a male character miserable. TLDR Older reliable queer player looking for campaign during the week after 5pm or weekends after 6pm EST. Dm for Discord handle.
