hiddenson
Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Regarding scheduling, I'm available every day (but would prefer playing every other week) from 9pm to 2am GMT+2, so don't let the timezone be an obstacle to our meeting. Hit me up with your best message and let's tempt fate together!

Oy there,  Let's run down the stats yeah? Name...Why? Who you with? You got a three letter org backing you? Hmmm...alright then, Patrick. Most people call me Giant though, my wife started it. I just accept it.  Age an ancient, decrepit 44 years of age.  Location: Kent, Washington, the PNW! Home of Bridge Trolls (no really), Bigfoot, Glaciers and whimsy! That's the basics, the most basic of basics if you will.  What I'm looking for is a very chill group. Like, the vibes need to be on point. We're talking acceptance, whimsy, patience, laughs and a general cheery disposition all around.  I need folks who are patient with people who have had a traumatic brain injury (I was introduced to a cement wall at high speeds as a youth). I struggle with nailing down mechanics, it takes a while to really cement them in my head. So I'll often be "Uh...Uh....Uh...*click* is that it?"ing around or "Remiiiiiind me how I...."... I'm also exceedingly awkward and shy around new groups. It's a challenge, the anxiety is real and hasn't abaited in my ADVANCED age. If anything it's gotten worse.  Despite being a human of unusual size, I'm soft spoken. It's not you, it's me. But I'll warm up.  I value "Rule of Cool" over hard mechanics. Rules are great, but I wanna avoid sitting there awkwardly as folks argue over the fine details.  Most importantly, diversity, acceptance and a critical, oh so importance lack of judgement. I'm just a straight CIS dude, but like...come on. Be chill about how others exist yeah? We're all in the world together and arbitrary lines seperating us is just sillyness.  Anyways, That's me.

Lapis
Howdy all, I'm Lapis. Late twenties gay man-thing who enjoys high fantasy as much as modern and sci-fantasy. I'm prone to making characters with detailed, thought out back stories with NPC fodder written in. I tend to play casters and healers, but can fenagle those builds to fit any combat position. I love making characters themed around witchcraft, fashion, the performing arts, the fair folk, and nature. My favorite classes in DnD are Bard, Wizard, and Druid. Some of my favorite media that influences and inspires me include Delicious in Dungeon, Frieren Beyond Journey's End, Mononoke, Agatha All Along, FFXIV, FFX, FFXIV, FFXIV, Bayonetta, Fire Emblem Fates, RWBY, ATLA, Genshin Impact, Castlevania and Castlevania Nocturne, and League of Legends. I'm a player who loves roleplay, exploration, and meaningful combat. If I sound like a good fit for your table, feel free to message me!

Aevan
Hello there! I am Aevan. I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, Majoring in Electronics. I like buttermilk, dark chocolate and apples. I am always serial crafting one concept before leaping to another worldbuilding, neither of them bearing any similarity beyond their unfinished state and their existence in my synapses. Those rare few lucky enough to get incarnated unto txt files and word docs are few and far between. And they, too, bear the mark of incompleteness despite the level of "corporeality" they may have managed to ascend to. I am a DnD 5e foreverGM looking to indulge myself as a player. The rare times I do get to play, my class of choice may range from purely relativistic melee to Spellswords. I usually play as Intrigue or Detective sorts, with high sink in Int & Wis stats, at times synergizing with abilities like Grim Psychometry or spells like Legend Lore. I do enjoy a good mindless Barbarian or a "I hit 3 times at a row" Human Fighter every now and then, as you do. I am very green to many systems, and while I intend to learn as I go, I do hope my newbie shenanigans, combined by the inner Player finally being released unto a sandbox, will prove to be very little nuisance to the rest of my fellow players. Not sure what else to write, so let me know if there is something particular you'd like to know. Thank you, and take care.

Izzy
I'm Izzy. 28. They/it.  I have over 10 years of experience in the tabletop space. On/off over the years with playing as finding groups that stay together takes time.  I have played in 2 completed 5e dnd campaigns that lasted over 2 years separately. Rime of the Frostmaiden & a homebrew Strahd campaign.  I will happily play in 5e & 5.5e games, though I have had an increased interest in p2fe/p2fre!  Tabletop games i have liked and played, would play again: 5e, pf2e, Vampire the Masquerade, Monster of the Week, Monsterhearts, Wanderhome, Call of Cthulhu  Tabletops I have not played but would be interested in: Blades in the Dark, Scum and Villainy, other Powered by the Apocalypse games or Forged in the Dark games, pf1e, Werewolf the Apocalypse, other World of Darkness games, Cyberpunk Red, etc etc My main goal as a player is to be a group player, to be someone that is wholly on the team with the other players! I love the collaborative nature of tabletop most, and why I always hold myself to be flexible and prioritize everyone's enjoyment and keep the table flowing! My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. I'm located on the east coast (so est/edt), am in my 30s and am primarily available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but can make other days/times work depending on what they are. Honestly just a chill, queer night owl looking to hopefully make some new friends and go on some exciting adventures! If you're in need of a proficient and eager explorer to join your campaign, feel free to comment or shoot me a PM via Reddit (happy to provide Discord later). Thanks for looking!

Alice
Hi! I'm Alice and VtM is my all time favorite ttrpg and I really, really want to play again. Back in 2013, I played Vampire the Requiem for the first time and **loved it**. After that, my group moved on to V5 and I've been a die hard anarch ever since. My favorite ever character I had was Hannah the Gangrel. She and her coterie managed to survive a year-long campaign, so I consider her a great success. As a player, I enjoy making characters that are the opposite of me in some way. Take Hannah, she was strong, impulsive and violent, which personally I could never. In DnD, I greatly enjoyed playing a deeply religious and devout Paladin, bound by all sorts of oaths and codes. I'd be willing to commute for an in person game on Sjæland, as long as public transport is easily accessible. So Copenhagen, Roskilde, Køge, anywhere with a train station. For online games, I've made it work before with a 6 hour difference and I'm willing to do it again. I work crappy hours anyway, so I will absolutely stay up late to have some fun playing pretend with strangers on the internet. IRL, I'm in my 30s, working as a cook at a fancy restaurant and have decided I need to get back into my favorite hobbies and cultivate more of a social life. Some other things that bring me joy are crocheting, true crime podcasts, fantasy and scifi novels, and the occasional hike. And that's it. Hit me up if this wall of text resonates with you and your local coterie and hopefully we can arrange something :)

Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. I am a US veteran on the ace spectrum, queer and a trans woman. I will always be curteous and kind to all, except anyone that just generally doesn't believe that ALL individuals should be treated with the same level of dignity and respect. I am wholly intolerant toward intolerance.

Hello all, I'm 25f (she/they) and I'm looking for a group to join to try some new systems! I'm a DM for two DnD games (long-running homebrew & a new group that's tackling Lost Mine of Phandelver, 5e and 5,5e). I've been researching and been interested in a lot of other systems to try and broaden my TTRPG horizons, but I'd like to play under some experienced GMs first before I maybe try GMing them myself. Also, I really miss playing and would like to be part of a group. :D Games I'm looking for and my experience level: - Daggerheart (GMed Sablewood Messengers and know the rule book. Any campaign frame or game length, preferably at least a short campaign is okay!!) - Vampire the Masquerade (absolute newbie, know a little bit but definitely need help & explanation for lore & game) - Powered by the Apocalypse systems (also never played, most interested in Masks & Thirsty Sword Lesbians but would read into others as well!) - Candela Obscura (Read the quickstarter guide and very intrigued) What else I'm looking for: - 100% AI-free games. Non-negotiable. - Preferably a weekly or bi-weekly game on week-nights, sometime between 6pm - 11pm/12am CEST. Being okay with missing a session from time to time because of life! :) (communicated beforehand if possible and not an emergency ofc) - Preferably a one-shot or conversation before the game starts to see if we get along. - Preferably a session 0 to set expectations! - Discord with or without video, any VTT or none, I'm not picky. - Preferably at least a 50-50 ratio male to female or non-binary group! - Respectful & friendly group, LGBTQI+ friendly, no bigotry. - A narrative-focused playstyle (should be a given with those systems I think? But just in case :D). I love game mechanics of course, however, or I wouldn't be looking to widen my repertoire :D What I think I bring to the table: - Experience with DnD since 2019, an understanding of different systems and a lot of willingsness and curiosity to learn! - I'm German, so my accent probably lmao. Hope you're okay with me struggling for words occassionally, but I promise I'm generally fluent. So I'm fine to play in English or German. - Give me reading assignments or a world to fit my character to and I get excited! - A lot of respect for the GM and hopefully some insight and understanding into what it takes to do all that, and in turn, hopefully supporting to the best of my ability so the GM can have the most fun, too! - An interest to form connections between the PCs and the players, too. I wanna chat and get to know everyone. :) I'd be way more comfortable, since I can be a little shy before I know what to expect of someone. - A decent mic & a webcam if wanted, stable internet connection & decent PC. - A good mood most of the time, appreciation, earnestness and patience for serious topics, and the drive to tell a thrilling and meaningful story. Storytelling is what we do and love, isn't it? - Navigating difficult topics is my job since I'm a psychologist, so you can expect me to handle them with care (if we're talking about VtM or Candela). I do have a little social anxiety so also expect me to be a little nervous while doing that. :D - Some of my favorite media include: Avatar the Last Airbender, Critical Role (if not already deduced ^^), Fire Emblem games, Netflix' Arcane, Life is Strange, .... a lot more, ask away if you want to know more! This post is a shot in the dark, so if by any chance my profile fits any or your (planned) games or groups and you're looking for another player, feel free to send me a message! If anyone out there's saying "Wow, this sounds like my (planned) game/group but we're playing DnD!", feel free to shoot me a message too, if we're a good fit, I'd consider staying within the system instead of passing up on the opportunity. :D Thanks for reading!

Hiii there my name is Liam (he/him) and a few things about me is that I'm 21 years old and I've played mostly homebrew games. I prefer roleplay heavy games compared to combat heavy but i love to play both. Besides Dnd I also make kandi beaded jewelry and play video games with me currently playing Fallout New Vegas and Moonlight Peaks I am open to playing locally but I'm more open to play online as I don't like to drive much. I have Discord (friendlyfang.) and have previously used Roll20 and briefly scrolled on Foundry. I also have previously played in a Blooddborne inspired game and that was alot of fun with the dark elements but. I'm hoping to join a group whether that be for a long campaign or one shots. I'm much more open to a chill game, i prefer the fun of the game. I live in PST and I'd also love to play Magic the Gathering with some people!! if interested in playing either add me on Discord!! :3

Hey, I'm Night, 21, and been playing and running TTRPGS for 8 years now ,with half a thousand sessions ran, and a few dozen played. Though playing has crawled out of my comfort zone, I'd like to try playing more! As both a DM and player I like fostering  character roleplay, especially creating *interesting dynamics* between PCs and elevating the energy of the RP. I am also a mad theorizer, so if your campaigns include mysteries or investigations, prepare for thousands of wildly inaccurate theories. And for me to discard the only correct one I would be really interested in trying other systems, but would also be glad to play DND

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!
