Hi everyone! I’m a player in my 30s (UK) who is relatively new to the hobby but completely obsessed with the storytelling side of D&D. I’m looking for a group that values character growth, secrets, and a bit of "chaos" in the party dynamic. I have a few character concepts ready to go, ranging from tragic to high-energy: Option 1: The "Blessed" Orphan (Warlock) The Hook: Sold to a temple as a child, he spent years desperately praying for a god to choose him. When a voice finally answered, he assumed it was divine. In reality, it’s a Patron playing a long game. The Twist: He views his Patron as his only true friend and protector. He is completely blind to their dark influence, even when he’s caught talking to himself or carrying out "favors" that don't quite seem holy. He has a fractured mind and a heart of gold—a dangerous combination. Option 2: The Mercenary Cleric. The Hook: A Cleric who finished his training but realized prayers don't pay the bills. He’s obsessed with gold—not just for greed, but because he’s searching for something (his past, a home, a legacy) and believes money is the only way to buy answers. The Vibe: He’ll keep you alive, but he might send you an invoice afterward. Option 3: The High-Fashion Arcanist (Sorcerer) The Hook: A "cunty" sorcerer who knows he’s the most powerful person in the room—he just doesn't know why. He’s on a quest to find his origins, mostly because he’s annoyed that his magic is more talented than he is. What I Bring to the Table: I’m in my 30s; and unable to find a group to meet in person *cries alone in the dark...*. So finding a group online to meet regularly will be awesome. Ideally, people 30+ will be great (I don't discriminate the twenties but I started to find myself more connected with people around my age who have been geeks since the times of Slayers or Inu Yasha). I love deep-diving into backstories and interacting with the world the DM builds. Even when playing "difficult" characters (like the gold-obsessed Cleric), I make sure it adds to the fun for everyone, not ruins the game. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. I am a ttrpg player of 6 years. Mostly in dnd, but I have experience playing PF2E, Fabula Ultima and Thirsty Sword Lesbians. Additionally I have read up a bit on most if not all of the systems I'm interested in! I enjoy finding a specific vibe for my characters, like a fighting style, a specific backstory, an aesthetic etc. I then push a system to fulfil that vibe to it's fullest, committing entirely to that bit, even to the character's detriment at times. I am also an avid heroforge user and deeply enjoy making heroforge models of all the pcs! When actually playing I try my best to use my character not just to their own end, but also to try my best within my characters personality, to empower other players. My fatal flaw is definitely my attention span, I am distracted very easiily, something I have been working to mitigate for a while, but that I'm not sure I'll ever fully ditch. I am looking for a Saturday game that starts no later than 12am GMT (yes I know thats technically thursday xD). I also have little preference for the system.

Hi, I'm Sam, an experienced GM looking to try new systems; I try to mix combat and RP, but I have a fondness for deep roleplay scenes, especially between players. I am glad to take on newbies and answer any questions you might have. I am free basically all the time, so as long as the times stay consistent (for campaigns) then I can accommodate any day or time the group agrees on. I am a prospective Pro GM. For now, I am looking to just build good rapport and reviews, but I intend to transition to taking on paid games; I know it's a touchy topic, but I can assure you that with the work I put into games, it is worth it (I wouldn't pursue it as a job if I didn't believe it was worthwhile). I go by Story/Ro. I'm a mid-30s gal with about a decade's worth of experience as a mostly forever-DM. I'm most familiar with 5e (2014) but wouldn't mind learning something new. Ideally, regardless of what we play, I'd like to find a long-term campaign and make some friends along the way. Online I tend to prefer using Discord and Foundry, but I'm familiar with using Roll20 as well. I'm comfortable with using voice and video, as well as playing via post. As a player, I've only really played a Cleric, a Druid, and (briefly) a Barbarian which was pretty fun. I like exploring magical classes more than melee, so that's what I'd probably stray toward. My play preferences are about 65% roleplay/story with 35% combat overall. I love making characters with histories, no matter how much ammunition it might be giving the DM and then exploring the world I'm presented with (even if it means consequences for my characters). As a person, I'm pretty chill. All I want is to build a story with others and have a good time doing it. I can't draw for shit, so I always become the campaign notetaker, treating it like a story with fun chapter names and everything. Honestly, as long as everyone maintains open lines of communication and remains respectful of one another, then I'll be happy as a clam. Availability is every other Friday [open or post 6 pm, depending on when it falls], and weekends. I may be able to do a weekday evening if the date is consistent. Weekly/biweekly campaigns would be greatly preferred.

A Note on LGBTQ+ Friendly: It's not just a tag to me, it's a requirement. I am nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them. This is a nonnegotiable for me. I've had far too many people approach me with rather condescending invites to games about how they 'aren't safe spaces' or 'no politics'. I agree that my gender, and gender identity isn't politics, though people have made it politics. Human rights isn't politics and if you think it is something that should be, you can skip on by me. I am more than fine with darker themes with games, I love a good dark game. But the moment someone says 'this isn't a safe space' or 'no politics' it feels like a giant red flag to me as a game I'm not interested in. So if that's your game, you can skip me. Indepth discussions between characters, debates about what to do in different situations. Being challenged on morality of what is happening. Highs of wins fought through hard work and the sting of defeats felt through the whole group, ending in commiseration at the tavern as our characters mourn the loss of a favored NPC. Roleplay is what I love most about TTRPG's. I've been playing them since I was 12 years old (I am now 41), and while at the time it was because of all the cool monsters and stuff, even then I was captured by the different stories you could tell. I would love to share in the telling of the stories with you and your group. I've got extensive experience in a number of different systems from D&D in various incarnations to World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness to Masks, Stars Without Number and Fantasy Flight Star Wars. I'm always up for learning a new system! I've also GMed my fair share of games in the past, but am just looking to play right now due to my health right now (I am disabled) That isn't to say I -don't- like the tactical and exploration aspects of the game. When it comes to combat I tend to be more of a tactition sort of player, analyzing the playfield and trying to figure out the enemy. Though that hasn't ever stopped me from making the -stupid- decisions because they were in character. Story and plot over mechanical wins for me every time. Failure is always an option. It never is an end point, because it just gives new opportunities for story, even if it stings and hurts in the moment. We find the motivation in that. Over a decade plus of playing RPGs but not nearly enough as I'd have liked. I'm east coast based and work regular work hours, but down to fit my schedule with whatever works best with a group and don't mind varying timezones! So, about me, been playing for 11-12 years, started out GMing and probably on the whole find that the more rewarding part of the hobby, but I enjoy playing as well. Played quite a range of systems by this point; did my mandatory few years of D&D and Pathfinder, actually started with Dark Heresy. But I've run Shadowrun briefly, Mutants and Masterminds, dipped my toes in World of Darkness. I think a benefit of my time behind the screen is that I'm relatively flexible in what I enjoy. I can go for deep and character driven games, but I also appreciate the fun of a good dungeoncrawl or epic combat. I'm absolutely a sucker for intrigue, but I'm not above playing characters dumb as a brick. I'm perhaps overly comfortable playing morally grey grand bastards, but when I think of my favourite recent characters, the Lawful Good Rogue probably ranks as the most compelling. I'll admit, though I'm by no means someone who can only enjoy hyper-simulationist games, I do occasionally tend to press up against overly artificial system restrictions. In Starfinder, my character did over time trend towards 'why don't we vent the airlock before we go in... soften them up.', and in general, I see a balanced encounter and will often think 'how can rig the deck a bit more in my favour'. Also not a big fan of 'Narrative' games, like Powered by the Apocalypse. For whatever reason, they are the one genre I've never quite meshed with. But yeah, I am generally open to try different systems, and flexible about my exact role in whatever party I join.

Greetings I am a new player wanting to get into DnD. I am free on Friday nights and weekends, I would like to have a more casual/laidback game to begin with so I can learn how to play, but I am also interested in a long term game so I can play the same character, (I really want to play a sorcerer), as well as I would like to start a game from the beginning and not in the middle of an adventure. I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Hello! I'm Mia, player/GM with about 5-years experience though a variety of different games and systems. I play frequently with friend groups online, and I'm looking to expand into a wider community and find new stories to play in! Building worlds with my table is always my biggest joy - I love to work with other players to find character development and interesting ways to interact and encourage each other. My characters are usually influenced by other media (Final Fantasy, robot fiction, gaming hyperfixations) - playing with my toys and dissecting what makes them tick and rebuilding them as something new. As a GM, I tend to lean to pre-established settings and lore books for inspiration, though I have also put plenty of work into creating my own campaign settings. I typically play with mid-high fantasy, sci-fi, or even historical settings on occassion.

Hey there! I have been playing TTRPGs for over ten years now. I started in college and havent been able to stop since. I love the more roleplay centered games but I can be Big Dawg and throw down when needed. Most of my experience comes from DnD 5E and Monster of the Week. Ive started learning Vampire the Masqurade but my group hasnt made it very far with that. Im familiar with the rolls and character building so I am mostly there. I typically play a rogue, warlock, or wizard. I really enjoy the stealth based play style you get with a rogue or being able to manipulate the universe at my finger tips that you get with warlock and wizard. I am pretty flexible though and can play to what the party needs. In DnD I have played every class published in 5E so I am pretty familiar with most pkay styles and how to balance out hte party.

I've been a World of Darkness player since the mid-'90s, though I haven't played as much since college and I'd like to change that. Vampire: the Masquerade is my personal favorite, but I like all the classic WoD lines. I also would like to try some other, lesser-known systems, but I have much less familiarity with their rulesets. I'm a roleplayer first, but I do enjoy some combat as well; I can get into most types of stories, though I'm usually not wild about romance. I like anything that really allows a deep, sustained exploration of the setting and its themes, as well as the backstories of all the characters involved. I'd love to find a weekly game, but as long as the schedule is consistent, I can be flexible.
