I love the collaborative nature of tabletop most, and why I always hold myself to be flexible and prioritize everyone's enjoyment and keep the table flowing! My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. I'm located on the east coast (so est/edt), am in my 30s and am primarily available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, but can make other days/times work depending on what they are. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, both as GM and as player, and I'm getting back on the saddle. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to do that as well from time to time. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. As this is my player profile, I'd like to focus on roleplay heavy horror games. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have been playing 5e and 5.5e for about two years now both as a player and while in the DM's chair; a role I love, but I would also like to see the other side of the screen sometimes... that's why I'm hoping to find a group! People I can DM for if wanted, but where I can also get to play my own blorbos at times. My primary skills in improv and character writing are what I think stands out about me personally-- I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but you can rely on me to fill sliences and start in-character conversations. oh yeah I also draw a bit so letting me into your group may have the side effect of getting silly moments from sessions drawn lol. Hi! I'm Alice and VtM is my all time favorite ttrpg and I really, really want to play again. Back in 2013, I played Vampire the Requiem for the first time and **loved it**. After that, my group moved on to V5 and I've been a die hard anarch ever since. My favorite ever character I had was Hannah the Gangrel. She and her coterie managed to survive a year-long campaign, so I consider her a great success. As a player, I enjoy making characters that are the opposite of me in some way. Take Hannah, she was strong, impulsive and violent, which personally I could never. In DnD, I greatly enjoyed playing a deeply religious and devout Paladin, bound by all sorts of oaths and codes. I'd be willing to commute for an in person game on Sjæland, as long as public transport is easily accessible. So Copenhagen, Roskilde, Køge, anywhere with a train station. For online games, I've made it work before with a 6 hour difference and I'm willing to do it again. I work crappy hours anyway, so I will absolutely stay up late to have some fun playing pretend with strangers on the internet. IRL, I'm in my 30s, working as a cook at a fancy restaurant and have decided I need to get back into my favorite hobbies and cultivate more of a social life. Some other things that bring me joy are crocheting, true crime podcasts, fantasy and scifi novels, and the occasional hike. And that's it. Hey! I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! TL;DR in the DMs Guide Player Types: Im an Explorer, a Problem Solver, and a Storyteller, but I'm more than willing to hit something along the way, i prefer Homebrew and Rule of Cool over RAW, and i want some found family/hope with my hard story beats! Inquisitive, curious people to some extent, I love to play spellcasters, usually those who are mechanically oriented around support of the party. I'm interested in D&D 5e/5.5e, Vampire: The Masquerade, and just about any homebrew system—I'm always excited to learn something new. I started playing D&D 5e in college and eventually ran two medium-length campaigns as a GM before life got busy. Since then, I've kept my love for TTRPGs alive through one-shots, and now I'm hoping to find a dedicated group to call home. As a player, I enjoy a balanced mix of roleplay, combat, exploration, and problem-solving. I'm happy filling whatever role the party needs. I've often played support characters, but I'm just as comfortable stepping into a leadership role when the moment calls for it. I'm looking for a weekly group gathering on either Monday or Tuesday nights (6pm+), I've played a bunch of D&D 5e but I'm looking to try something new! so far I'm interested in: Pathfinder 2e Monster of the Week Lancer WOD or other systems that sound interesting! Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. I am a US veteran on the ace spectrum, queer and a trans woman. I will always be curteous and kind to all, except anyone that just generally doesn't believe that ALL individuals should be treated with the same level of dignity and respect. I'm an adult, but a decently young one, and would prefer to play in a group of a similar age range (18-25). ‼️Important‼️ I have no interest in games that involve the use of generative AI in anyway! For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Rulebook aside, I do have a little bit of knowledge about the rules, since I've been watching people stream it, but I'll certainly need a decent amount of help- even after I finish reading the book. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

I like roleplay heavy games, but having a fight is also good. I tend to homebrew stuff, because any game engine is just an invitation for creativity. Usually play sneaky-snoopy characters, chaos goblins and/or demons like Tyranny (my favorite!).

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Hii~! I'm just a chill 25 yo gal looking to stretch the old roleplaying muscles. I've played about 3 5e DnD campaigns, one long and 2 shorter ones, so I'm not exactly a beginner, but I'm still pretty fresh! Now that I've got a more stable schedule, I'd love to get into it again and make some new friends along the way!
