Caelthara

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
System: D&D 5e 2014 (homebrew setting) Platform: (Foundry / Discord) Time: (Sundays / 6-10 PM, CST) Session Length: 3–4 hours Party Level: Level (4) Consisting of: Mercy Monk, Spores Druid, and a Blade Singing Wizard. Experience: New or experienced players welcome About the Game: This campaign takes place in Caelthara, a high-fantasy world shaped by ancient magic, forgotten catastrophes, and the rise of adventuring guilds as one of the most influential forces in society. Long ago, reckless magic reshaped the world, leaving behind unstable lands, monsters, and lost ruins. In response, adventurers rose from legend into necessity. Guilds were formed to hunt threats, recover relics, and handle dangers governments either cannot or will not address. The campaign follows a growing adventuring party currently operating out of the frontier bounty city of Vrobraz. What began as simple guild contracts has slowly revealed signs of something far more troubling. Current Story: The party recently uncovered evidence linking a series of caravan attacks and bandit operations to a larger and more organized force. Their investigation has led them away from civilization and into increasingly dangerous territory where strange events, ancient ruins, and unnatural creatures have begun appearing with alarming frequency. The group is currently traveling toward the Hollow Blight, a primeval of the world associated with old legends, disappearances, and forgotten history. Along the way, they have encountered signs that something is changing in the wilderness—and whatever lies ahead may be connected to forces far older than anyone realizes. LF DM for game in Lincoln Park Chicago

Hi. We are looking for a DM for our campaign. We are three sessions in and one of our players is leaving due to scheduling issues. I would like to transition from being DM to being a player. The DM role just isn't suited for me. Everyone is very nice and friendly and the group gets along well. We would love to add you to our party

LGBTQ+ friendly

I am looking for players who are interested in Fate Core hexcrawl campaign where I improv as a DM and use random tables to generate stories for the characters and encounters on the spot! I love being creative with the story and not being able to anticipate how the story will leap to next until the next dice roll to determine the fate of the events and the encounters. Fate Core is an amazing system for this, where it allows for so many creative variations to what you can do. Let's have fun with the unpredictability of it all! I can take 2-3 players for a group of this campaign. I am flexible with the time- I am free on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am thinking evening time PST, but it will depend on the group. I will update when I get the first or second player so that we have a more set time for the campaign.  No need for experience with the Fate Core system! I can go over the system with you. If you're interested, feel free to reach out! I will first talk with you on discord after we add each other just to see if our vibes match. :)

New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hey there and welcome! The Nice with a Cup of Tea Discord Server is an established and always growing 18+, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent and disability friendly discord server with mostly EU members looking for new blood! We are searching for players as well as GMs to share tables and have fun with! We always have a mix of silly and serious games going on in our server, though even serious or darker games will have their moments of levity. Here's what we like to play and what we are playing right now so you can see what might be in store for you if you join. Some of these games even have some slots for players left, so be quick if you want to join one of them! Our most played Systems: Carved from Brindlewood, Flabbergasted, Forged in the Dark, Powered by the Apocalypse, Year Zero Engine Games Games we play right now: Astro Prisma, Bluebeard's Bride, Cain, Call of Cthulhu, Daggerheart, Draw Steel!, Defy the Gods, Fabula Ultima, GM Round Table, Hog Adventure, Household, Mage the Ascention, Pale Tides, Stonetop, Swords of the Serpentine, The Girls of the Genziana Hotel, The Lands Remaining, Vaesen, Vale of the Failed and Fallen, Vampyr Assassin, Zhenya's Wonder Tales The only mandatory thing is having a decent microphone so you can play, generally knowing how to navigate discord and being respectful of other players (including the GM)! If that sounds interesting to you, fill out this google form (make sure to double check your discord name and accept my friend request, the name is the same as this one, so I can actually invite you to the server)! Feel free to ask any questions, you might still have, under this post or in private messages as well! We‘ll be happy to see you at one of our tables in the future! Cheers!

You came to stop it. Whether the city survives is up to you. **The basics** - System: Pathfinder 2e. I pay for Foundry, players pay nothing. **Where we play** - Narrative play-by-post lives in our Telegram group. - Dice, maps and tokens run in Foundry. I will get you set up, no purchase needed. **Building your character** - Play almost anything. Any ancestry, class or background is on the table. - Dual class is allowed but never required. - PathBuilder is the easy way to put a sheet together. **Good to know** - This is one ongoing, connected story with a persistent group, not a West March. - Tone is adult and high fantasy: dark, magical, and not shy about mature content. - Vetting happens on the Path Wars Discord, not in my DMs. New players are welcome to DM me to join and I will happily walk you through everything. The Crooked Moon

At the stroke of midnight, a ghastly fog rolls in. From somewhere beyond the veil comes the shriek of a haunting train whistle, mournful and terrible, like a choir of wailing souls. Then an old black locomotive appears from the gloom: the Ghostlight Express. Those who board are carried to Druskenvald, a land lost in the shrouded realms of death. It is a place of endless night, crooked houses, harvest songs, blazing wicker, ancient traditions, and roads that vanish into mist. This is an 18+ Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign using The Crooked Moon. New players are welcome, and players should be respectful, LGBTQ+ friendly, consistent with attendance, and willing to communicate if they cannot make a session. Becomes Kings/Queens/Emperors - Kingmaker Level 1

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
Hey everyone! I’m looking to put together a group for a long-term Pathfinder 2e Kingmaker campaign. This is a game about exploration, survival, politics, kingdom-building, and the very complicated process of turning a dangerous wilderness into a nation of your own. This will be run online using Foundry VTT for the game and Discord for voice. Campaign Premise You have been sent south by Brevoy into the infamous Stolen Lands, a region known for bandits, monsters, old ruins, rival powers, and plenty of things that would rather not see civilization take root. At first, your job is simple: explore the land, chart the wilderness, deal with local threats, and prove that this territory can be claimed. But Kingmaker is not just about clearing hexes and fighting monsters. Over time, the party will have the chance to found a settlement, make alliances, handle crises, defend their people, and decide what kind of kingdom they want to build. Will your nation be just? Ruthless? Chaotic? Noble? A disaster held together by duct tape and ambition? That part is up to you. What I’m Looking For I’m looking for 5 players who want to commit to a long-term campaign and actually be part of the table. You do not need to be a professional roleplayer or know every rule, but I do want people who are willing to participate, communicate, and engage with the party and the story. I would prefer players who have not played Kingmaker before, since I want the campaign’s story, choices, and surprises to feel fresh. New Pathfinder players are welcome. I’m still somewhat new to PF2e myself, though I understand the basics, so patience and a willingness to learn together are appreciated. Table Expectations This is meant to be a consistent, long-running group. Kingmaker is a large campaign, and I want players who are interested in sticking around, getting invested, and building something together over time. Please be the kind of player who: Shows up consistently Gives notice when something comes up Has a decent mic and stable internet Is willing to talk, roleplay, and make decisions Engages with the world instead of fading into the background Respects the other players Wants the group to succeed and have fun together You do not have to be loud or super outgoing. Quieter players are totally fine. I just want everyone to be present and involved. GM Note In about 2 months, I will be moving. That should not interfere with the campaign, but I want to be upfront about it. My goal is still to build a permanent group and keep the game going long-term. I’m also still learning Pathfinder 2e, so I may not be perfect with every rule right away. I’m happy to learn, improve, and work with the group as we go. [Sundays (2 on/2 off) - 4:30PM PST] Hello Adventurers! We’re a long-standing group of friends who have played together for a while, and we’re hoping to bring in someone who enjoys collaborative storytelling, friendly character drama, roleplay, political intrigue, and heroic fantasy. One of our current players is a woman, and we’d especially love to find another woman who would feel comfortable joining the table and adding her creative voice to the group! My wife used to play with us, but her job hours have caused her to no longer be available, sadly. The campaign itself centers around a powerful noble family whose world is turned upside down by betrayal and political upheaval, forcing them to navigate shifting alliances, dangerous rivals, and the question of what justice really looks like when those in power control the narrative. The world and campaign are entirely homebrew, meaning you won't find this anywhere else, and the world around you will shift and change due to your decisions! This is a long-term, character-focused campaign with an emphasis on collaborative storytelling and roleplay - though combat and exploration are still definitely present! What to Expect from this Campaign: - Roleplay and character relationships - Political fantasy and noble-house drama - Collaborative worldbuilding - Emotional stakes and difficult choices - A balance of story, exploration, and combat - Playing on FoundryVTT with music, visuals, and effects - Using Discord with a microphone and webcam (if and when you are comfortable doing so) We play two Sundays off, two Sundays on. Our next session is this Sunday, May 31. This will be session zero, and we will be covering character concepts, rules, and collaborative story elements. The following session will be on June 21, then June 28 - just to give insight into our rotating schedule. If you are a woman who is in search of a friendly and fun group and is interested in learning more, please feel free to comment or message me!

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Looking for players for an in-person D&D game in Lake City I’m putting together a weekend evening D&D game, either Saturday or Sunday depending on what works best for the group. The campaign is called Sapphire Vale. It’s a homebrew game where the players take on the role of small forest creatures living in a deep, hidden valley surrounded by mountains. Think mice, rabbits, foxes, birds, frogs, bugs, and other little woodland folk trying to survive in a world that feels much bigger and stranger than they are. The tone is mostly cozy forest fantasy, but with darker edges. There are peaceful villages, old trails, strange ruins, dangerous predators, and parts of the woods that most creatures know not to enter. This is meant to be a roleplay-heavy game with exploration, character moments, danger, and a story built around the party. New players are welcome as long as you’re willing to learn and be part of the group.

Looking for one player for the Between TTRPG

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hi all! My name’s Arian(she/her) and I’m looking for 2 players to play the Between ttrpg. There are 2 more players in the group and we’ve had like 3 sessions. I’m looking for more players because of scheduling issues. I’d like to run weekly sessions, even if some of the players are missing. I’m aiming for a short season of 12 or so sessions. What is the Between? It’s a game where you play as monster hunters in Victorian-era London. You will learn about various threats in the city and try to neutralize them, in one way or the other. But it seems that there’s a mastermind behind the curtains who’s seeking to bring the Crown to its knees. The Between is directly inspired by Penny Dreadful tv show, as well as other British horror media. The Between is a powered by the apocalypse game, but the mystery element is inspired by Brindlewood Bay game which means there’s no set solution to any mystery and we will be making up theories and rolling to see if they’re correct or not. Please make sure you’re ok with that. The Between is a game that is quite dark. We will absolutely be using Lines and Veils, but dark themes such as body horror, dark sexual themes, murder of children and animals, blasphemy, witchcraft, foul language are part of the game and can’t be avoided. Day and time: 7 pm GMT + 5 Saturday. Please be sure to check that you’re ok with the time. Where: discord for voice, roll20 for everything else. It will be theatre of the mind, mostly. Session lengths: 3 hours, give or take. Weekly. Tone of the campaign: serious, with minimal jokes and humour. The Between’s PCs are moody, intriguing and torn by their mysterious past. Absolutely no bigotry or hate will be tolerated from any players. This game is lgbt+ inclusive and I’m queer myself.  Who am I? I’m 34, I’m passionate about fantasy and sci-fi books and games of all kinds! Also I paint a lot. English isn’t my first language, so that’s something you need to be aware of. I love ttrpgs since I love making up stories with cool people and I’ve been playing since 2020.  Who am I looking for? Please be 20+. You don’t have to be familiar with the system, we’ll learn together, but please be interested in learning. Please be ready to commit to these 12 or so sessions. Life happens and it’s ok, but if you know you won’t be able to make it to games consistently, it won’t be a game for you. I’d like to play with people who actively want to create stories with others and don’t just wait to be entertained. In the Between, you’ll need to actively narrate the Unseen scenes, set up your own scenes and narrate your scenes from the past, so you’ll have to be ok with that.

(Aiming for 9PM AEDT start time) Hi! We’re a table of 3 and are relatively new to D&D. We’re not too picky about how the game should run but a mix of RP and Combat would be nice. We’re looking for a long-term campaign that we could run preferably once a week, but it’s all fine if that’s not possible. Really looking forward to it, were nice people I swear 🥺 DM me on discord!!! "Beneath the sands of a dead empire, something ancient is waking up." The Caluthean Empire ruled this region for thousands of years before it collapsed. What remains are ruins half-swallowed by sand including a massive collapsed monument called the Fallen Statue of the Great Unifier. This is a sandbox campaign centered around a megadungeon! There is a lot to explore amidst the ancient ruins: magical treasures to find, rewards for completing quests, and horrors that lurk in the shadows that must be defeated. The system is Old School Essentials Advanced Fantasy with some elements of AD&D 1st edition. What to Expect: No experience necessary. This is dark fantasy adventure gaming, somewhere between Dying Earth (Jack Vance), The Black Company (Glen Cook) and other Sword and Sorcery, to high fantasy realms like old gray box Forgotten Realms. This game will feature high adventure, exploration, and risks. The game is fast and deadly. The goal is to turn this into a West Marches style game. There is a lot of the world to explore, promising rewards, but the greatest of these lie beneath the ruins of the Fallen Statue... Details: System: OSE Advanced Fantasy Setting: Sajetan, an original world, currently desert-heavy, ancient-empire aesthetic (currently). Schedule: My availability for SESSION 0 is on a Sunday at 11AM CT / 12PM ET / 9AM PT / 5PM GMT / 6PM CET. Once we receive enough players, I will send out the date for that and we can then discuss which days to play weekly. Format: Online via VTT (Discord and Owlbear Rodeo) Experience: No experience required. Familiarity with OSE can help but is not required. Getting Started: Send me a message or contact me on Discord: Maervahr

Sci-Fi/Horror Paranormal Investigation In '90s Seattle Hi there! I am putting together a game about investigating paranormal threats to humanity on behalf of a mysterious organization, in the vein of The X-Files, BPRD, the SCP Foundation, and the Southern Reach trilogy. I have three decades of ttrpg experience mostly running Call of Cthulhu, WoD, D&D (2e & 5e), and Feng Shui.  I will be running this in Delta Green, the modern day spin-off of Call of Cthulhu, but will not be using the Cthulhu mythos lore that is the usual backdrop of Delta Green. The tone will still be dark, but a little lighter than Delta Green's default "apocalyptically dark."  You do not need to have experience with Delta Green or Call of Cthulhu, but please be mature enough to deal with descriptions of violence, crime, mental illness, and other staples of supernatural horror.  Live sessions will be held on occasional weekends via Owlbear Rodeo. Much of the game will be ran directly on Discord. This will be writing-intensive, if you can't enjoy typing a paragraph and just want to roll dice & move mice this might not be the game for you. The game setting will be Seattle in the 1990s; investigating spooky goings-on amongst the misty forests, thriving music scene, and internet start-ups.  If this interests you, let's talk! This is my first time using this platform so be patient with me.

Remade many systems in 5e to better fit an mmo-style like the anime SAO. The most notable is that instead of classes, you have skill trees. If you are interested in joining, I'd like to know what your favorite story at the table is, or otherwise getting to know who you are as a person. We are currently thinking about Fridays from 4-8pm CST starting some time in June. Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
The nights seem to never end as occupants of these accursed landscapes suffer in darkness. The people of Tepest pray to the Mother for a merciful Tithe. The survivors of Falknovia brave an unending hoard of undead and eachother. The scientists of Lamordia create their own monsters as they twist and pervert the natural world. The dread domains offer no respite to the those of feeble will. Can you survive? Seeking 5 players for a horror centric campaign spanning the Dread Domains. Players will traverse through several hostile lands, each posing a different and horrific threat. I hope to find players who seek to build characters with emotional depth and add to a collaborative narrative in a meaningful way. Players who will fully immerse themselves in the horror setting, allowing their characters to feel desperate, terrified, and lost but still, for one reason or another, hardy enough to fight on. As a nonbinary Latina, I prioritise making my games a safe space for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community . Full transparency, I see a safe space for these communities as a space filled with staunch advocates and allies. This goes double as this game will ask players for a level of vulnerability that others must respect. If advocating for these groups isn’t a meaningful part of your identity then you need not apply. Additional note, no part of my game will include generative AI. I think to use AI in any capacity for TTRPGs is disrespectful to the writers, designers, and artists who put lifetimes worth of effort, skill, and craftsmanship into creating this community. Not to mention to socio-ecological harm of AI either. I will also not allow AI to be used for character tokens or any other reasons. Everything in my game will be made with human craftsmanship for better or worse This game will start players at level 3 and we’ll play until level 5. We’ll play weekly, three days on and one day off. I try to level up players at least every 10 sessions. As of now I see this game running for a max of  8 months, in which time we’ll either continue with the same characters or try something else. Please submit your application here. Thanks in advance for any who take the time to apply!

"Swear an oath. Face the impossible. Pay the price." Looking for players interested in trying out Ironsworn and/or Ironsworn: Starforged in a cooperative Play-by-Post experience! This will be a GM-light collaborative storytelling game, where the players build the world together, make difficult choices, and discover the story as it unfolds. No traditional dungeon master required — the system uses narrative mechanics, progress tracks, oracle tables, and player-driven storytelling to create adventures dynamically. Depending on player preference, the setting can be: - Ironsworn — gritty low fantasy survival, harsh wilderness, vows, iron-age inspired settlements, monsters, raiders, ancient mysteries. - Starforged — sci-fi exploration inspired by Mass Effect, Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, Alien, and space westerns. Explore dangerous sectors, forge bonds, hunt bounties, uncover anomalies, and survive the Forge. This game is beginner-friendly, especially for people curious about: - Solo/co-op RPGs - Narrative-first systems - Roleplay-heavy games - Sandbox storytelling - GM-less games No experience with either system required. --- WHAT IS IRONSWORN / STARFORGED? Ironsworn and Starforged are narrative tabletop RPGs created by Shawn Tomkin. Instead of focusing heavily on tactical combat grids and strict encounter balancing, the games focus on: - Character-driven stories - Narrative consequences - Momentum and risk management - Collaborative worldbuilding - Fiction-first gameplay Core Mechanics (Simplified) Most actions use: - 1 Action Die (d6) + a relevant stat   vs - 2 Challenge Dice (d10s) Results are: - Strong Hit → You beat both die. You succeed well.  - Weak Hit → You beat one die. You succeed, but with a cost/complication. - Miss → You beat no die. Things go badly. The game heavily embraces: - Fail-forward storytelling - Meaningful consequences - Character vows and goals - Exploration and discovery - Emergent storytelling Combat is dangerous, journeys are uncertain, and even success usually comes at a price. --- RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS Mode: Cooperative GM-less Play Platform: Discord PBP Experience Required: None Posting Style: As long as it's not a one-liner Character Creation: Guided during Session 0 Homebrew: Possible depending on group interest Tone: Flexible (gritty, hopeful, cozy, tragic, adventurous, etc.) Important Notes - We will collectively decide the setting truths/world details together. - Rules are relatively light and easy to learn. - Heavy focus on collaborative storytelling. - Players are expected to help move scenes forward. - Dice rolling can be done using Discord bots. --- EXPECTATIONS Combat: Medium Roleplay: High Exploration: High Sandbox Freedom: High Preparation Required: Low Themes - Survival - Exploration - Discovery - Found Family - Dangerous Journeys - Oaths and Promises - Cosmic Mystery (Starforged) - Ancient Secrets - Hope in Harsh Worlds Potential optional vibes: - Cozy settlement building - Space western - Horror - Political intrigue - Monster hunting - Frontier survival --- SCHEDULE AND LOCATION Location: Discord Timezone: GMT+8 preferred but open internationally Expected Activity: At least 1 meaningful post every 1-3 days --- PLAYER PRIORITY Beginner-friendly 3-4 slots available Players who enjoy: - collaborative storytelling - character development - improvisation - narrative consequences - journaling/RP-heavy games …will probably enjoy this system the most. --- ADDITIONAL MATERIALS Official resources: - Ironsworn is completely FREE. Starforged isn't but I'm willing to share the rulebook through google drive. - Character sheets and reference materials will be provided. - I can teach the system as we play. If interested, feel free to message me with: - Your RPG experience - Whether you prefer fantasy or sci-fi - The kinds of stories/themes you enjoy

The Shadow of Aufstrag stains all the lands of the east. That dread tower that housed all the raving madness of hell sits now in the midst of the Gray Pools, a monolith of evil and ruin. Though the Horned God who built it is long gone, there are powers there that reach far and wide, into the lands beyond. Slots Available: 4-5 System Used: Castles & Crusades Style: Voice chat via discord Session Duration: 3-4 hours Schedule: Thursdays - Sundays after 2 Requirements: Need a mic and a stables internet connection and a computer that can keep up with Foundry at least. If interested then drop your name or preferred name, age (no minors) and favorite kind of games! This will be a pretty traditional D&D style campaign in the Castles & Crusades system. There will be towns and NPCs to meet and many Dungeons to explore. Often it will be pretty sandboxy as I love to focus on exploration above any other pillar. Combat will be dangerous but not your only solution as treasure gives you XP. I'm looking for players who want to adventure above all else and who aren't afraid to speak up and take initiative when necessary, and love to get into character. There will be much treasure and there will be much adventure! I also play a variety of games and am lookign for a group wanting to try other stuff!

.✦ ݁˖ Hey everyone! :D .✦ ݁˖ I’m Joween and I’m part of a group of six players (though realistically usually around four consistent players, with two being a bit more on-and-off) currently looking for a DM for a long-term D&D campaign. We’re a very roleplay-heavy group and are specifically looking for a DM who enjoys character interaction, story development, relationship-building between PCs, and immersive worlds. We can also do well in combat- so we aren’t looking to avoid it completely either. We enjoy tension and serious moments mixed in with humor and lighthearted scenes. A bit about us: Ages range from early 20s to early 30s 2 girls and 4 guys Players from Europe (4), North America (1), and Turkey (1) Friendly, welcoming, and LGBTQ+/minority friendly 4 experienced D&D players, 2 newer players who may occasionally need a little extra help with mechanics/spells/combat flow Scheduling: Fridays CEST 19:00–23:00 (7 PM–11 PM) We highly value consistency and weekly sessions Obviously real life comes first, so don’t worry. Communication above all. We’d like a campaign where sessions still happen as long as at least 4 players + the DM are available As for the campaign itself: We’re totally open to homebrew worlds and would genuinely love to hear about settings people have created Medieval fantasy vibes are preferred We mostly enjoy using classes/subclasses from the standard Player’s Handbook content (We wish to play version 5E (or 2014 rules) and not 5.5E (or 2024 rules) ) Homebrew content is perfectly fine with us as long as it fits the setting/tone We’d also really appreciate talking with the DM beforehand to see if everyone clicks well socially and creatively. A Session Zero where the DM introduces the world, tone, expectations, etc., would be ideal so everyone can see if it’s a good fit before committing long-term. Mainly, we’re just looking for someone patient, chill, tolerant, and interested in building a fun collaborative story together. We care a lot about good group chemistry and making sure everyone feels comfortable and included. So? Sounds interesting? Great!! Please answer a quick google forms. If you don’t want to click on random links (we love internet safety) just DM and I’ll send you the questions! https://forms.gle/JEw298vskBEnHJ129 Thank you for reading and hope to hear from you soon~

The Midnight Circus // Veltria

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
The busy riverside city of Leviathan's Reach has been buzzing more than usual lately. The residents and visitors speak of a traveling circus coming to the town soon. This circus arrives once every 7 years with the week of the total lunar eclipse. Previous attendees whisper about dreamlike performances, carnival games with extraordinary prizes, and wonderous fare for the entire week of the carnival. However, something seems off this year. Time seems to vanish, hours passing in moments. People return from the carnival speaking in riddles, or missing memories. Some don't return at all. Shadows dance on their own. Reflections seem delayed. Whispers come from seemingly nowhere. Something is interfering with the city's largest event, the circus they prepare for every 7 years. Whether you're an outsider stopping by, or a resident that's worried for their people, the town is in desperate need of these mysteries to be brought to light. Will you rise to the call? Howdy! My name is Kramer. I've been majority DMing and sometimes playing D&D campaigns on and off for a total of 6 years. This campaign is set to be a shorter one, around 8 sessions give or take, and is small piece of the story of the ongoing world of Veltria. My goal for this short quest is for it to feel like a murder mystery in a whimsical world. Breadcrumbing clues, suspicious encounters, deception all around, etc. If you're interested in heavy RP, solving social puzzles, and political intrigue, then this is the one for you.  Players will start at level 3 and this quest line will conclude around 5 or 6. Of course if there's interest in continuing deeper into the world, I'd be more than happy to transition from this shorter plot into a longer term journey through the world. These are my homebrew settings and story, and I allow, even encourage players to bring their own homebrew flavors. I just ask it's ran by me so I can help fit it into the world and make sure it's not extraneously strong.  I currently have 2 out of the 4 players I'm hoping to begin with. I'm comfortable running 3 or 4 total, so it just depends on how things go. I prefer a smaller party size since I tailor the story to each PC's backstory heavily. I love having plenty of ammo.  My current two players are: -A college of whispers bard -A college of puppetry bard If you want to play another bard, be my guest! This campaign will have a heavy emphasis on RP, and combat will be sporadic to hopefully make it more impactful. Feel free to experiment however you please. Sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30pm CST with the first get together being a session 0. Just some general guidelines and stuff I'd like to add: -I will not accept characters who have no motivation to or are unwilling to work with the party. It's a team game and I want it to play like one. This means I'll be strict against evil characters unless it's reasoned well.  -We are an inclusive group! We're all from vastly different backgrounds and I will not tolerate any form of hate speech, discrimination, or judgement.  -No generative AI, please. Not only is it disrespectful to artists, but it just looks bad. -We're a lighthearted group of people and the campaign is meant to be fun and whimsical. We joke, we laugh, but that doesn't mean we aren't taking it seriously. Everyone involved so far is heavily invested in making this story come to life. That being said, if you're interested in joining in on the fun, shoot me a friend request on Discord. My username is 7xk. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope to hear from you!

Group of 3 looking for GM (Talespire)

No paid games
On a player profile - you are looking for free games and are not interested in paid ones.
Our original GM had to step away unexpectedly, but our party is still ready to continue the adventure. We’re currently looking for an experienced Game Master who knows Pathfinder 1e well and is interested in running a fun, engaging, and memorable campaign for a solid group of players. Schedule: Wednesdays, After 6:00 PM CST Party Size: 3 Players VTT Preference: TaleSpire (Strongly Preferred) So, we're a group of 3 players with TTRPG experience and solid chemistry. We enjoy a healthy mix of roleplay, combat, teamwork, storytelling, and memorable character moments. We’re also a fairly comedic group, so there’s definitely some banter, goofy table antics, and the occasional ridiculous idea. Because of that, we’d love a GM who’s comfortable with a little chaos, open to creative or dumb character builds, and can enjoy the fun while still keeping the campaign grounded and engaging. What We’re Looking For - An experienced GM with solid Pathfinder 1e system knowledge - Comfortable handling both serious story moments and goofy energy - Open-minded toward creative, unusual, or fun character builds - Comfortable running sessions through TaleSpire - Familiar with Elephant in the Room rules (preferred) - Someone who enjoys roleplay, encounters, storytelling, and collaborative play - Chill, flexible, and good at balancing humor with structure - Looking to build a fun long-term campaign VTT / Platform Our biggest ask is finding a GM comfortable with TaleSpire, since we’re looking to try and experience it. And don’t worry about any additional cost if you don’t own any guest passes, one of our members has 5 available if needed. That said, due to the unlikeliness of this requirement, we may be open to Foundry depending on the setup, but TaleSpire is definitely our preferred VTT. If you’re an experienced Pathfinder Game Master who enjoys storytelling, solid system depth, goofy party antics, and players who like both a chaotic and good roleplay we’d love to hear from you!

First time DM looking for players

House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hi, my name is SomeGuiltyDuck, you can call me Duck. This is my first time DM'ing and playing D&D. I am a 31yo male from Norway. I'm leaning more toward roleplaying even though there will be combat. Campaign will be casual and not rule strict - if it makes sense, I will probably allow it. Team comp does not matter, You can be 4 bards for all I care. I hope for players that will immerse themselves in their character and the world. Intro: Mage has kidnapped someone you care deeply for, you do not know their destiny - if they are alive or not. You receive a letter from an unknown source stating they have a way to stop the mage. Within the letter there is a map with the location, date, and time of the meetup. Time: 19:00 CEST (2-4 hours) Date: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Platform: Foundry VTT & Discord (Voice) Requirements: Good mic, reliable/punctual, NO AI I will have a discord call with everyone individually. Hopefully session 0 will be in week 23, we will prepare and talk to see how we vibe. Session 1 will be the week after that. PS: I will be streaming the campaign and put it on YouTube.

Abyssal Frontiers: Firewalkers

Homebrew

Hey everyone, due to some unexpected circumstances, I'm looking for 2 more players to join a custom, rules-lite, and extremely roleplay heavy system I’ve been working on for a while now. This is not a “test-it-out” campaign as it is closer to a full-length (~15-20 sessions campaign) game. We usually play on Sundays every week starting around 10.00 PST. We play entirely on Discord. The system is extremely light in terms of combat. The rules on combat, and perhaps in general, are only there to give certain decisions or actions some weight or a clear result. The game is set in an alternate history Y2K with heavy biopunk and cyberpunk themes clashed with the paranormal. To be more specific, the game is set in an almost completely industrialized Nunavut. “Where the skyline scrapes the stars while soviet era block buildings are left to crumble into the ground.” This is a relatively darker and broodier campaign sprinkled sparsely with dry humor. Some hard topics such as bigotry, terminal diseases, body horror, and harm to children will be discussed throughout the campaign, though I will handle it with utmost care. This is also a 18+ game, some sexual topics might be mentioned but there will be a hard line against directing outright action from GM to players, players to other players, or players to NPC. There may be some raunchy joke here and there, but generally we will not be focusing on the topics of sex or anything remotely sexual. In more details about the setting, Nunavut has turned into clusters of sprawling oil cities. People have discovered magic and technology of the internet, weaving them both into an extremely robust tech-boom period. At the same time, the nuclear-scare got out of hand due to several nukes being dropped throughout major cities in the world during the early cold-war (called the 3rd World War in this setting) so fossil fuel usage runs rampant. The city you are in, Liebknecht, named after an old German revolutionary, is home to several corporation indoor "nest" which is about 300-400 stories tall and 10-20 kilometers diameter structure. Outside of the nests lies the old ruins and coal mines from soviet era which are home to people who can't afford to live within, or at any better places. There's also the city itself which is a relatively "normal" city built entirely on a cement-and-steel platform over the ice. The city borders the Hudson Bay to the east, which in this setting is rich with oil and natural gas. The premise of the game can be summarized as “You lost memories of the past 1-3 months and now you need to face the past, when you weren’t in control of your character. Your goal is to get back to where you need to be and reconcile with whatever happened the last few months.” The game has already started and we just finished session 1, nothing much has happened outside of generally introducing the character to the premise. If you were to join, your character will be introduced relatively smoothly though with some prior mini-story leading up to how they were found by the rest of the crew. Other things I might not have mentioned: 1. I have a hard rule against usage of generative AI in any steps of the game, including character creation. Character art is not required in the slightest, and having none is far more preferable than using Gen AI to make one. 2. Expect this to be a moderate investment of your time. Please mull it over a bit before asking to join since leaving mid-game will be quite hectic. 3. We are only using voice chat, no need for camera, but a microphone is a must. 4. You will need to be free for a bit this week leading up to the next scheduled session time (May 31st) for character creation purposes.

NO PAID GAMES Hi! My name is Shadow and I am 1 of 4 people looking for a dungeon master to run a game for us on Tuesdays after 4 Pm MST! We are all pretty expirenced players with years of experience and are all older than 18. Most of us have expirence playing together and are already mostly comfortable as a group(I say mostly cause 1 of us hasn't played with 2 of us.) We are happy to answer any other questions about us if you have any, we have some of our own below as well as what we'd like in our game. What were looking for: Setting/Theme: Typically we like high fantasy games where magic is in abundance and races are diverse. Steampunk type setting with airships and the like are also apriciated.       A few of us would also like a pirate themed game if that's something you'd be interested in as well but it's not necessary if you have a different setting in mind we love to hear about it.      Sandbox worlds are also apriciated and desired but we know they can be a bit much.      Homebrew world settings are also preferred but again not required. Rules/Mechanics: Like we said in the title we are looking for a story driven game so a 60% Roleplay to 40% combat balance would be ideal for us with some wiggle room of course. We also have a strong preference for 2014 5e over 2024 We are also fond of downtime mechanics like our characters working on projects, buying things, etc, since the more story elements and normal things like that we find pretty fun. Rollings for stats is another thing we like but isn't a hard requirement. Additionally one of our players(me) is interested in playing a home brew class made by the YouTuber PointyHat, I'll include a link to the video if you'd like to check it out, I'm not set on it though so If you don't want to allow it that's fine. I think that's everything for now, I will probably have more questions if you reach out but until then I hope you have a great day! Thank you for reading all of this, if you're interested reach out to me on discord at Shadowstrike775. I hope to hear from you soon.

Edit: (Really don't know why this is getting asked so much, but yes, I am LGBTQ friendly.) Hi everyone! this is pretty much just a copy pasted concept post from my roll20 ad, but I wanted to post it here to see if I could get any traction! I am a dm with about 10 years of experience, dming since I was about 15. I personally enjoy heavy amounts of roleplay and character growth, as well as making my players actually feel something when they play the game. I am looking for players who are roleplay forward and actually want to engage with my world and story, not just be railroaded through plots. I'd say I try pretty hard, I do my best to do voices for every character, make almost every single map I use myself, and love working with players to make their story arc/character design really come into full swing. I'd really like to just make it clear that I'm open to anyone who is both capable of clearly speaking during session, and can comprehend mechanics well enough to not need to ask what their class does every turn. I am not interested in new players that have 0 experience in tabletops, but I am fine with players who have almost 0 experience in dnd 5E despite having experience in other games. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A modern day city, full of people all minding their own business. Perhaps you were a traveler coming to the city for some kind of business trip. Perhaps a teacher on an off day, a bakery owner who'd just finished setting up their shop for the morning rush. Regardless of what you were, you're something different now. In a flash the calm and easily presumed atmosphere of the city has devolved into chaos. Blood lines the streets as creatures far from normality seem to be brutally murdering those in the streets. Most cower and hide away from these creatures, these beasts. Some rise up to the task of defending their fellow citizens and begin to fight these creatures tooth and nail. Chairs, steak knives, even their own hands and feet, people fight back. Soon after a great deal of violence has settled a great number of people have what seems like a video game screen appear in front of their face. The interface seems crisp, seamless as if it's really physically there. A few words bring a horrifying reality to be known. " Greetings, you have been invited to the game of the Gods. " Hello! Welcome to my pretty shameless rip of a theme and story inspired by a webtoon called 'return to player'. Whilst the idea of the setting and etc are heavily inspired by the webtoon, the direct plot and progression of the story is not! I will be pretty blunt, this game is meant to be a more tactical and brutal game wherein the players must train and attain great strength to eventually beat the end goal. (This will probably take quite a while.) Players will have access to a vastly revised character growth system! Most of the changes I've made will be explained in the contents of this google doc. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1py7shmO8imKK9eFwDuRVqHqW-f02XPXezMSAs9ULgYs/edit?usp=sharing NOTE: I am starting everyone at level one! Only races in the document are allowed! Note, not every change is present here, as I may addendum some things when players make characters, or through the game if I feel a player is not performing up to snuff due to mechanical limitations. Martials will have a far greater sense of power scaling in this setting, and will have a great deal more potential abilities to use. Getting into the actual SETTING of the campaign, this is a completely modern day and real world setting campaign. Every god from mythology is canon. (As well as H.P lovecraft gods for some reason.) However for obvious reasons, i'd prefer we don't touch on gods or religions that people IRL consistently worship. (I find it highly unlikely we'd offend some norse pagan by roleplaying Odin and etc.) With that said, the game will likely be set in the U.S because i have little knowledge of intricate social and geographical things outside of my own country. The game will run about 4-5 hours on average, and maybe later some nights depending. Players can fully expect to be rewarded for interesting characters, and will have basically full creative freedom to pitch ideas for unique character concepts! (Barring very extreme ones that I would struggle to balance.) With all this mentioned, please feel free to contact me with further questions that you feel are unresolved. Discord will be used for voice calls! (This is a copy paste of the roll20 Ad, please apply there!) https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/410940/what-a-cruel-game-this-is

Marvel Multiverse Revenge of the Super-Skrull

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
An introductory adventure of the Marvel Multiverse RPG.  This game is designed specifically for players who are brand new to roleplaying or the Marvel Multiverse RPG.  Players take the role of Marvel Superheroes and learn the game as they play; again there is to experience necessary.  In this adventure, 2 to 6 players will take on the role of one of a select few Marvel Heroes Player Characters (PC): Ant-Man Daredevil Hawkeye (Clint Barton) Luke Cage Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) Wolverine (Laura Kinney) These characters are the cast which the adventure was designed around.  They include heroes of street level (neighborhood) or formidable (city) level heroes, that will be brought together to deal with a four act adventure scenario.  Adventure Length: Depending on game play speed, the adventure is expected to take between 4 to 8 days to complete.  It is possible to complete an Act each session, but this is an average estimate.  A group of players more knowledgeable of the rules, could possible complete this adventure under 4 days. Adventure Schedule Occurrence:  Once per week Session Length: Each session can be expected to approximately 4 hours Date/Time: Fridays 4pm Pacific Daylight Savings (GMT -7) If you love superhero films, series, comics, or video games, you may have a blast playing Marvel Multiverse.  Just take on the “acting” role of a PC and jump in on the fun. Interested people should respond with an interest that includes a brief introduction.  Your introduction should include your experience in ttrpgs in general (if applicable, maybe list a few games you’ve played/ran) as well as your experience with Roll20 (including how well you know how to use its features).  You should leave a message in the Campaign Threads (Posts) or DM me. Thanks https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/443826/marvel-multiverse Note: I will be running other Marvel Adventures as well.  After I've run several different adventures, I will eventually look to run a long length campaign. Rather you wish to continue playing all the adventures, or only wish to learn the game to move on, here's an opportunity to learn about the Marvel Multiverse Game, using just the Core rules (to get down the foundation), this will help you gain experience, have fun, and meet some new people

A homebrew system campaign set in a modern day SCP style world.  As employees of the IMC (impossibility management center), the megastructure goes into lockdown as an unknown force breaks in. Player count:  1 - 6. Character survivability:  Medium.  Rolls and well thought out plans cannot kill you.  However, you are not immortal. Tone:  Serious, with some comedic and minor horror elements. Content warning:  The story does portray many major deities as evil or corrupt, so sorry if I end up being offensive.

Hellow and Welcome! My name is Riley (He/Him), and my girlfriend and I have moved to Marietta, GA and we'd like to get an in-person game going, weekly, if possible. We'd be happy to run a persistant campaign or campaigns using Dungeons & Dragons 5th Eddition, D&D 5.5th Edition, Draw Steel, or another system entirely if people are interested. I have more than a decade of DM experience, and my hope is to get a small group together in person to run a custom capaign for us. I've helped new players learn TTRPG systems before, and there's nothing I like more than helping others get invested in the story and world of our campaign.  It would be up to the group what kind of game and setting we run in. I've comfortably run Heroic Fantasy, Dark Fanatasy, Sword and Sorcery, Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Space Opera, Post-Apocalyptic, and Urban Fantasy before, so whatever kind of world and story we''d like to persue, I'm sure I can oblige. As an added perk we have a proper tabletop gaming table for us to play at, cupholders and all! The only cost accociated with the game would be that everyone would be asked to bring some snackes and/or drinks for the table. If you're situated anywhere within driving distance of Marietta, GA, we'd love to have you over for decent snacks & beer, better games, and even better memories!

The Serpent's Secret: Shilku Expansion

Starting an online campaign for an epic homebrewed adventure set on the remote and mysterious Chult Peninsula, a dark dangerous land of volcanoes, serpent cults, and sentient beasts. Seeking players and fellow DMs familiar with Tomb of Annhilation to join and help beta test a new expansion module for the ruined City of Shilku. Campaign is set on the Wild Coast, continuing into the jungle interior and underdark 7 layers deep!  I prefer players without too many competing commitments and schedules, hoping for weekly session length of 3+ hours. DM is retired and obssessed, but rusty after a 40-year hiatus from DMing. I’ve been hosting another game for 3 months on discord and DnDBeyond. Ready to start another!  Time and day of week are flexible TBD once we have found interested people. I can do a weekend afternoon/evening, but I'm open to a weeknight if others prefer. No one should have to stay up past 12 Midnight so I prefer 4-5 pm PST start time to accommodate Eastern US and some Southern neighbors.

False Skies is a fairly standard high fantasy setting with some other genres mixed in as the story goes on, Levels and story progression are milestone-based so it's heavily character-focused. Scheduling: Well our sessions are somewhat spontaneous while we can schedule things ahead of time if i'm avalible you can generally call me up for a session at any time. (My Timezone is GMT+2) Partys.  Because of this scheduling the party is well up to the players whether they wanna play toghter with someone, be by themselves for a session, get a large group togheter for a boss fight/dungeon, We are here to have fun afterall. Hello, We are a group of ttrpg players looking for one or two people to join (one of our members died, one had to step away for work). We are currently running a pathfinder, lancer, and mutants and mastermind game, we are writing a shorter vampire 20th campaign to test roleplay compatibility. Our group mainly focuses on rp, and has a mix of veteran players/dms and some that are newer. We play every Saturday, though we have a number of games that we swap between, and when life comes up we at times just hang out and play video games (we have members in eastern and central time, and play from around 4ish to 9ish Eastern with a food break around 6 that goes for 45-60 minutes). Our group is lgbtqia+ friendly. We use discord, as well as roll20 and other virtual tts at times and our age range is 24-36 currently. If interested please reach out to me on discord at .revachol, or the dm for the vampire game mongoosebaron.

Open Concept Campaign looking for players

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Edit: Reopening this post! Someone had to drop out spontaenously. Please reach out if interested. Hello to whoever stumbles onto this post. I am an on-and-off DM of about four years. I've recently gotten some inspiration to start a new campaign after sometime away from the table and have begun work on gathering people to roll some dice with. I am looking for players of any skill level and experience (I especially enjoy welcoming beginners). I hope that group will be able to learn together and hopefully create a lasting story for us all to enjoy. The systems I plan to use for this potential campaign are 5e (2014), Savage Worlds, The Cosmere RPG, and the Without Number series. The system will be decided once the group has made their desires for the game known. We will be using Foundry VTT and Discord for our games. For a quick rundown of current campaign settings I have in mind: - An Occult Noir-style game set in a demiplane where the various warlock patrons of 5e are more akin to powerful mob families and gangs. The party will be a  ragtag group of assistants and associates to a rather (in)famous private investigator. The group will have to walk the tightrope between the temperamental factions as they aim to solve a murder that their boss couldn't solve, their own. - An Interstellar Space Opera set in a brand new frontier of space that has only recently been made accessible to the wider galaxy. The group will be playing as a very underqualified, undertrained, and outgunned delivery crew in a beaten-down spaceship held together by hopes and dreams. It's up to the group to make their deliveries to the bustling new worlds and colonies of the sector while contending with dangers ranging from new and hostile fauna to pirates looking to make use of the hyperlanes as abundant hunting grounds. - A Science-Fantasy campaign set in a world akin to other settings like Eberron. The world will be one that has been marked by the coming and goings of many ages leaving behind an odd mish-mash of a setting that will have the classic staples of high fantasy but also with some more scifi elements Leaving the door open for things like players with access to things like mini mech suits that have been made using the combiantion of tech and magic or flintlocks that use arcane powder to use spells in cruder and more unrefined ways. This campaign will be weekly or bi-weekly on Fridays at 6pm CST, but these details are definitely negotiable once we have more people in and we can plan our sessions better. Currently, I have only two seats filled, and I am looking to hit a group size of 4 or 5. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the potential campaigns and If you have any further questions feel free to ask me anything!

Seeking players for a campaign in a new system

Hello all I'm seeking players to play a system I've designed. The systems name is Unbound Legends and if I had to describe it has a very Shadowrun meets D&D feel to it in terms of how the system works. Its not quite the same as either but its the closest way I can think of to describe it with already existing systems. In terms of gameplay systems its designed to have a more dark fantasy undertone and over all is built for fantasy settings. The game will be held on Saturdays starting 2-3 weeks from now at 6pm pst for roughly 3-4 hour sessions. The start time may be sooner based on player readiness. Session start times may be adjusted to better fit all players. Foundry will be used for hosting I've taken the time to code the system for use myself. The Core Rulebook required for play will be provided. Generally speaking the rules I set for games are: LGBTQ+ Friendly and generally look for players who are also.  no hate speech, politicts, harassment, bullying, or personal attacks. I shouldn't need to list out everything just be a decent human being.

Adventures in Faerun: Fury Grove

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hey all! Running a one-shot this today at 4pm PST and looking for 1-2 more players (open to a 3rd if a friend group or couples want in together). Currently have 3 players locked in. New to Nimble or TTRPG's? No problem, happy to teach. Pick Your Adventure (players are voting between 6 options but tied for these 2 choices right now). The players have voted for Fury Grove. 🌲 Fury Grove Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerûn · Level 3 The wood elves of Laughing Hollow have stopped coming to the spring festival. No druid arrived to bless the crops at Greengrass, no envoy to keep the peace between the village and the fey. The villagers are frightened. The hollow has gone quiet. Something dark has taken root in the sacred grove. And whatever is growing in there is hungry to spread. Themes: wilderness horror, fey corruption, druidic mystery Combat High Roleplay Low Exploration High Intrigue Low ⛏️ A Deep and Creeping Darkness Candlekeep Mysteries · Level 4 Seventy years ago the platinum mine of Vermeillon collapsed, killing dozens. In the months that followed, the survivors began to vanish one by one, until the whole town went silent. A mining company wants to know if it's finally safe to dig again. The road in is long. The houses still stand. And something in the dark beneath the mountain remembers the taste of fear and has been waiting a very very long time for someone new to feed on. Themes: abandoned town, dread, slow-build horror Combat Medium Roleplay Low Exploration High Intrigue Low The Details: System: Nimble 2e Day/Time: Saturday, May 23rd. Start time TBD between 3-6pm PT depending on whats best for all players group availability. is now 4 pm PST Session length ~4-5 hours. You don't need to be in PT, but scheduling is built around PT. Platform: FoundryVTT + Discord. Camera not required, but encouraged! Frequency: Just this one-shot, but the server is set up for recurring one-shots until a party clicks and folks want to commit to something longer term. Age: Must be 18+. No adult themes at the table, but it's an adults-only group please. Vibe: LGBTQ+ friendly, dynamic to different RP styles (first person voices or 3rd person). I do silly voices sometimes. You're welcome to flavor how you want or not at all. Current players lean toward combat / mechanically aligned but our group loves our RP moments too. Homebrew / House Rules: We run close to RAW with two changes: Using the new armor system from the playtests (which may soon become the default core rules) Alternating initiative. After each hero goes, the GM goes. Has a "chess-like" feel, distinct from RAW side initiative where all heroes go then all monsters. About Me: I'm Trist. I run Nimble regularly and love the system. I'll teach you the rules if you're new, and I aim for a chill, welcoming table. I've had experience running modules for 5e, running one shots, and a little bit of Draw Steel. I have mostly settled on Nimble now. How to Join: Comment or DM with anything you'd like to clarify. Then I will DM you my Discord, where we will have a small brief questionnaire of 7 questions just to ensure our expectations match each others. Once we agree it's a fit, I'll send a server invite and you can vote in the poll for which adventure you'd like to run (currently tied between the two listed). After a few sessions of one-shots to make sure group chemistry lines up I will be pitching multiple campaigns or adventures to choose from. Happy gaming! Trist

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Hey all, I’m a professional DM currently looking for players for TWO ongoing FoundryVTT campaigns hosted by Sqyre! Age of Sigmar: The Broken Binding A Stormcast Eternal has fallen to Chaos, and new heroes must rise before the realms collapse. Set in the Mortal Realms of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, this high fantasy campaign throws you into Shyish, where death itself is your enemy. You are part of a Soulbinding, a mystical ritural that has linked your soul to that of others, for good or for ill. With you fates intertwined and your power shared, together you must hunt down a fallen champion before his corruption spreads beyond control. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy roleplay and cinematic action. Think quickly and engage with the moment, working with your team. If you want to feel powerful, heroic, and impactful. • Classic fantasy adventure • Heavy roleplay and tactical combat • Very beginner friendly • Fridays 7:30PM–11PM GMT • 3–4 spots open We use FoundryVTT + Discord and are livestreamed to YouTube. £25/session via Sqyre subscription plan. A little about me: I used to work in the film industry and try to use that in my work as a DM, I focus on immersive storytelling, cinematic combat, memorable NPCs, and player-choice driven worlds where the things you do genuinely matter. I don’t railroad. Ever. New players are always welcome, and experienced players will find plenty of depth to dig into. If interested, please reach out here, Discord or join the community, we also play an unhealthy amount of Slay the Spire and BG3! https://www.sqyre.app/profiles/TattleTalesRPG https://discord.gg/3y9CsJzrU9

Group of Teens Looking for a Long-Term DM

Me and 3 of my friends are looking for a DM to host our campaign, two of us have already played the game before, and the other 2 pick up on stuff pretty quickly. We plan to start this after 15th of June when our exams end, so you'll have plenty of time to prep and stuff! This campaign can be a prebuild but we would like it to continue even after, as making new characters or starting over isn't as fun as having one long story. If you are interested, either reply to this or DM me on discord at: vurk.  (don't forget the dot!)

Admittedly I'm not looking to run this game but I've wanted to play a variety of games within Chronicles of Darkness for a long time now. So I figured I'd try to seek out some likeminded individuals who also want to play. Maybe even find someone who has experience running a game. I've only ever played a handful of times, so it'd be nice to have that experience for me and other players.

My Online Thursday Group (UK time)

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
My online Thursday group meets at 1800hrs UK time (so one has to account for the daylight saving effects), and is about to kick off a PF2E game, we are looking for one or two extra players. We are reasonably experienced with PF2E and are currently getting to grips with the remastered version. We are quite experienced TTRPGers in general. We use Discord for voice and Video which are both mandatory for our group, so a good quality, stable internet connection is required as well. We use Foundry VTT well enough and can give basic instruction in its use if needed. A good command of English is also required, we cant play if we cant communicated both vocally and with documents, handouts etc. The game begins in Trollheim, in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings and very close to the border with Irrisen. The region is a northern ice blasted land of deep forests, mountain ranges and of course a great deal of monsters and ruins and all the good adventuring you can handle.  You start at level 3, having spent the last few months to a year in Trollheim taking contracts to pay for your keep and getting valuable experience along the way to better handle the bigger more profitable contracts. Interested parties should join the discord and dm me so we can arrange an ice breaker and see if we are a fit for each.

Voyage of the Fallen Star – Open Table D&D

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Voyage of the Fallen Star is a seafaring Dungeons & Dragons campaign about following rumors, pulling on loose threads, and discovering what happens when small choices begin to tangle into something much larger. The world is wide, the sea is uncertain, and the story is shaped by which paths the party chooses to follow — and which are left behind. As the Knitter of Yarns, my role is to gather those threads — character goals, side quests, consequences, and chance encounters — and weave them into a clear, cohesive adventure. You’ll have space to explore ports, chase leads, take on side work, and wander off the expected path, while a steady narrative thread continues to guide the journey forward. The tone balances adventure and mystery, with room for humor, quiet character moments, and rising tension as the voyage unfolds. Combat is tactical and purposeful, exploration is encouraged, and roleplay is always at your comfort level. There’s no pressure to perform — just a shared story built one decision at a time. What you can expect: Player-driven exploration with a clear narrative weave Meaningful character progression and lasting consequences Balanced, approachable combat that rewards teamwork A calm, welcoming table with clear pacing and communication A free Session 0 will be scheduled once the minimum number of players (3) is reached. Session 0 will cover expectations, character creation, table tone, and safety tools before the adventure begins. If you enjoy collaborative storytelling, exploration guided by choice, and a table where every thread matters, Voyage of the Fallen Star invites you to take your place at The Open Table and see where the weave leads. Interested players can find full details and sign up here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmk1f9m6l0002jm04aq0fbdw5?ref=cm42y2bn800381034oyhbvpy0

New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Cue the intro Hello! We’re a group of three (2 players, 1 DM) looking for 2-3 additional players. We would start by running a handful of one-shots to workout the chemistry and dynamics and then move into a full campaign. Preferably we would like people 25+ years of age but we welcome newbies, veterans, and players in between! This would be played with the 5th edition system but open to group consensus on playing 2014 or 2024 rules. It would be a weekly game (Fridays, but relatively flexible) that would last 3-4 hours. This is a traditional High Fantasy D&D game in the homebrew world of Relanor. The game style is primarily exploration based with notes of mystery, roleplaying, character development, and dungeon delving -- basically your normal D&D style game!  For more information on the world, you can look at my Wiki here: https://relanor.fandom.com/wiki/Relanor_Wiki Looking for one more player who is available Tuesday nights starting at 7:30pm. We already have four players, but we would be interested in having one more local person join the group. As of today, 2026/05/20, we haven't had a session 0 but plan to next week.  Reach out to me on Discord @Torkontheorc if you're interested!

The Deep

Explore ancient dungeons in an old world. There are rumors that many treasures and even ancient artifacts found deep below the earth. The tunnels and dungeons maze throughout the underground - perhaps remnants of a long forgotten civilization. The stories of this place are wild and fantastical - a large contrast from the monotony and ordinary struggles of the world above. One thing in the stories is consistent - people call this place "The Deep". I am starting an old school OSR game using OD&D. I am using a slightly customized version of the Chainmail combat system to run the game. So far, the combat has felt fun while also being lethal and tactical. I'm planning on using Chainmail mass-combat rules for overland travel if there are enough troops on both sides. There is no need to know the rules to have fun with it, and I'm available to help create characters as well. We have ran a few sessions so far - the players could definitely use some help in the dungeon as there have been a few deaths so far. It is definitely a dangerous game, but should be a lot of fun! If you are interested in joining let me know - we are planning to start back up after the New Year every Wednesday at 6:30pm Pacific Time. Now is a good time to join since most characters are still level 1 and there is a lot to explore!
