Hello everyone! I am seeking (ideally) 5 to 6 players to join my FATE campaign set in the world of Annesai, my solarpunk world that I've been building for years. If you're interested in building a character with deep lore and backstories, solving several intertwining story-wide mysteries, and feeling like you're in a huge sandbox, this is the game for you! In Annesai, magic use is forbidden because of its perceived danger. The city of Franzin destroyed itself with it, and as a result people use it secretly and cautiously. The natural lifespan of the country's citizens is 150. People stick around for a long time, and they remember how things used to be. This will be a very roleplay heavy campaign. FATE mechanics like aspects and stunts will be used, but mostly for character driven actions and solving plot lines. Actual "combat" will be incredibly rare. This will also be entirely play by post, with the hopes that each player will post at least twice per day to keep things moving. Story beats will come from me, but players will have time to respond how they'd like. I am a first time GM, so patience is appreciated as I figure out what this all looks like! The country seems to be trying to find its footing in a time where a lot of things are going on at once. In the underground city of Gyuna, citizens have started to notice people with animal like features slinking around the darker parts of the city. Body mods aren't uncommon, like wings tails and horns, but these people are different. They stay as secluded as they possibly can. They look like they're in pain. They look grotesque. Too many are starting to be spotted too often for this to be a simple body mod trend gone wrong. When the Kingsmen started finding people dead from these deformities, they called more forces into the underground, putting everyone on edge. Up in artistic city Purret, the Children of Voltrix have begun recruiting members into their Church more aggressively. They've been holding more open houses, sending higher up members into businesses to leave their new pamphlets when they've never allowed people to leave before, even gotten the High Society Six School of the Arts to start filming a documentary on them. The leader Olix has made an announcement that she will personally pay the fare for anyone who wants to travel from outside Purret to join the CoV. They're gaining more members than ever, and people who are losing friends and loved ones to her cause are starting to worry. After all, nobody even knows what they /do/ in there. And now things have started to come to a head - because the entire country is pretty sure the King is dead. This isn't even horrible news to most of Annesai's citizens, but it's led to confusion and concern. With King Phillip dead, his son Ellion will take the throne... and nobody knows a single thing about him. The general opinion in the royal city of Walnuri is that King Phillip simply waited too long to have an heir. His estranged brother, Alexander, has three children. His eldest Peony has just turned 31 and is only now starting to be referred to in the news as a "young woman" rather than a teenager. His second eldest Zachariah is only 15, and nowhere close to being taken seriously. Phillip, in no real rush, waited until he was 80 before he had a child, and his wife died from childbirth complications. Too old and "busy" to truly raise his new son alone, Ellion was thrust into the arms of countless nannies and old male teachers, none of whom he took to. In our present day, nobody knows anything about Ellion at all except that he's incredibly shy. Interviews - if he agrees to them - are only published in papers and articles. Its incredibly rare to hear his voice. Nobody knows his opinion on magic, on the situation in the ruined Franzin or seedy Gyuna, nothing. To be honest, nobody really cared. Walnuri citizens thought he was cute and would grow into his title, and everybody else decided they would pay attention to him when he was old enough to grow out of his meekness and address the nation without prompting from his father. After all, the King was only just in his hundreds and in seemingly good health. Ellion wouldn't take the throne for at least 20 more years, when he was old enough to take it seriously. But now the King is dead, and his son, at only 22, is taking control of Annesai.

I'm looking to start a Dolmenwood campaign which means I am currently looking for 5 players to venture into one of the strangest, yet most atmospheric fantasy setting I've come across so far. Dolmenwood is a realm of tangled woods, fungus-encrusted glades, and foetid marshes on the wild borders of civilisation. It’s a place filled with intrigue, secrets, and old magic, where travellers are drawn in and rarely leave unchanged. You’ll get to explore the wild Wood, uncover lost treasures, and face the strange things lurking in the dark. Along the way, you’ll also recover relics, forage uncanny herbs, bargain with witches, unravel ancient magic, and get tangled in noble intrigue, before (hopefully) returning to the hearth to share your tales. Most importantly though, you will have the total freedom to shape your journey. I can honestly say that this is the true sandbox most people look for.  The System Dolmenwood is based on DnD B/X so those of you familiar with 5e will have a very easy time picking it up. However, some things are a tad different so expect the following: Player skill > Character Sheet: Your options are not limited to the paper buttons on your character sheet. The game actively encourages out-of-the-box thinking and while you do have various unique skills and traits that will come in handy, a long stick and a sacrificial retainer or two can do the job just as well. Gold = XP: Exploration and treasure hunting are the main drivers of advancement rather than combat, and I will also employ the use of homebrew rules that reward feats of exploration (discovering lost shrines, confirming rumours, etc.) Combat is dangerous: You will always seek ways to gain the upper hand in any encounter. Block in your opponent and throw in molotovs, poison the well, everything goes. Emergent storytelling: PCs will not have the most expansive backgrounds in order to allow for the story to develop organically through play. HOWEVER, there are a couple of amazing tables that will inspire your characters' beliefs, starting trinkets, etc, which I think you will love. About myself The one line that best describes me as a GM is that I’m relaxed, friendly, and here to make sure everyone has a great time. My games are all about good vibes, fun, and group chemistry. I have a bit of an “older brother” style. Guiding things, hyping players up, and making sure everyone feels comfortable jumping in and having their moment. No one gets left on the sidelines. My Hopes I honestly could've easily gotten players off the system's Discord server but I really want to introduce new folk to this wonderful game. I am looking to put together a group of mature, roleplay oriented ttrpg players.  Although I would consider someone of undergraduate age if they were mature enough, Im really looking for grad student on up. The World Mioridask is a world made and defined by dragons. Its societies are split into those that worship dragons for their protection and benevolence, and those who believe in the freedom of individuals. Both sides fight for their beliefs, and kingdoms rise or fall out of pettiness and determination from either side. You, however, are no king. Not a peasant anymore either. By the end of the campaign, you are hopefully a hero. The Campaign The tone of the campaign is generally light-hearted, but there will be serious and tragic events as well. While I incorporate mature themes into my storytelling, this won't devolve into a gore or smut fest. I‘m planning to run a story where you are the good guys, the hero in this draconian system. The campaign will follow a linear storytelling. That means that I have a story in mind that I want to tell with you, which will incorporate your character‘s background as well. How you reach your goal is up to you, but I, as the DM, will determine what the goal is. I‘ve tried sandbox-style campaigns before and found that I don‘t enjoy them (and am also not good at running them). Your choices WILL matter, but if your choice is to rob a bank when the quest is to protect a village, then the group will choose that you aren‘t a good fit. The split between combat and roleplay will be 40/60. Exploration will sometimes take place but won’t be the focus. We’ll play over Discord and use Foundry for battlemaps and rolls. Cams are encouraged but not enforced or required. We'll start at lvl 1 and go all the way to 15. Possibly followed by some one-shot style adventures post main story to level 20. The Hook You‘ll start in the territory of the „Tribes of Stone“, a desert where most people live underground to escape the burning heat and dangerous monsters that hide in the sand. Access to magic here is rare, so when a merchant‘s delivery, which includes a spell scroll, gets lost on its way to the capital, he hires you to retrieve the wares. This mission is part of a 2-3 shot we‘ll use to get comfortable with each other and determine if the players and DM (me) work as a D&D group. This quest will then lead into the main campaign. I as a DM I’m Anna, 29 years old. A quick note to me and my DMing style: Rule of cool is great if you have a fantastic and creative idea, but in the end, we are playing 5e, so those rules count. Welcome to a 4 Act game of Vampire: the Masquerade 20th edition. We will be portraying Shovelheads who start out being used in a Crusade in Orlando, Florida for the Prologue. After surviving the Orlando Crusade your nascent True Sabbat will be put into a Pack with other surviving Shovelheads and be taught enough to make you dangerous to the Camarilla and released upon Jacksonville, Florida to prepare it for the next strike the Sabbat will make against these "Kindred."  Arc 2 will be when the Sabbat take over Jacksonville with your help. You'll be granted Status, Domain, and have to politic in a much different, more monstrous environment than the one you were thrown into. After you survive and hopefully thrive in this dangerous environment we'll have a small ending Arc 3 where the Vampires and Pack get to lead a Crusade against Tallahassee and finally claim Florida as a whole for the Sabbat.  Day & Time: Thursdays at 1 PM CST Start time for 3 Hours; wiggle room of one hour before, up to 3 hours later for start time. One day ago, the railroad shut down. One hour ago, a strange, bare chested woman was seen blowing a horn before riding off into the night. One second ago, the town church burst into flames in the middle of service. No one knows if this is a regular old demonic possession or if there's something more sinister at hand, but one thing is for sure... No one is safe tonight. Character Options Prudence: A pious 18yo single girl. She has straight strands of straw colored hair, a pale complexion, and eyes the color of the sun at dawn. Having been raised in Raptio all her life, she's dying to get out and see the world she's read about in her books and scriptures. Joseph: A hardworking 24yo single man. He has brown auburn tufts of hair, a strong, tanned body, and eyes like the midday sky. He was born and raised in Raptio Peak and dreams to someday see his grandchildren running along the plains of green grass he planted and tended. Nike: A determined 53yo divorced woman. She has loose strands of salt and pepper hair, a toned, fit figure for her age, and eyes cold and black as the ocean. She has explored the better half of the Midwest and has decided to settle down here. She says it's because she can see the sunrise from where she lives. Winchester: An easygoing 40yo businessman. With a gleaming bald scalp, a rotund body, and a tiny, beady eyes, he's looks like a very stereotypical wealthy man. He's on a business trip and decided to stop in this town for the night, the night before the train broke down. There may or may not be secret info about the characters and their motivations depending on who you choose Specific kinks that might appear in universe: Futanari, Gender Swap both ways, Musk, Pheromones, Non-con, Eldritch horrors, tentacles, mind control, pegging, chastity, whatever looking down on a woman because she's old is called, orgasm control and denial.  Specific kinks that will not be there: Snuff, Scat, Watersports, Bestiality, Gore, fucking dead bodies and everything under those umbrellas.  If something's hot, I'm probably gonna do it, but those are the guidelines on kinky stuff. Vibe: Grimdark, high fantasy, found family, dungeon crawl I'm looking for players who enjoy the tension of resource management and clever problem-solving over "face-tanking" monsters. Tone: I'm not going to say the tone will be intentionally comedic or serious, as I can understand that it can be difficult for people to successfully pull off either, so it's going to be more of a playing be ear of seeing what players I get and seeing where it goes, and hopefully having those funny or serious moments come organically rather than intentionally. DM Style: I'm aiming for something very RP heavy. Low on combat. I'll try to make combat's more like puzzles that you can solve almost instantly rather than health bars you have to chip away at. With the forces of evil returning and the forests seeking to bridge the gap that separated them, and a malevolent entity feeding Azlith's reduced form with energy to harness his power, the political and military disputes between these kingdoms seems superficial in comparison.. and yet the humans and elves will continue to wage war on each other despite the mounting threats. Try to find a nice way to thread the needle between these two conflicts and save everyone, or don't - it's up to you. We will be playing point-buy, starting at level 3 all the way to.. I'm not sure! Anyone interest in a biweekly EST Friday evening game of rogue trader? With like 4-6 players. Played on Roll20, since I know it best. Discord for threads and comms. Basically the PCs will own/be command staff on a huge starship with like 80k crew members. It’s a city in space. So big it will have two active alien invasions on board that have been ongoing on for generations within the lower decks. The party will have a warrant granted to them that says whatever they can claim (and hold onto) in a distant expanse of the milkyway they can keep. That means solar-systems, planets, populations, resources and riches. A star barony that they can pretty much run however they want or can all agree upon. As long as they pay their tithes/taxes to the Imperium. Races for PCs are pretty wide open. I’d allow an ork (probably a merc working for gear and teef). An aeldari (space elves), a grot could be fun. A farseer Tau firewarrior with a stealth battle suit. Kroot or ogryn is on the table. The rogue trader and navigator would have to be “human”, but the rest of the crew im open. The system uses percentile dice. Not my fav but we’ll make due. The themes in the game can be pretty heavy. Think of a bad thing in RL and there are races/planets/gods doing all that and probably more. We’ll steer clear of the absolute worst of it, but just a heads up it’s a very adult game. I would personally like to see the game run iconoclast with dabblings into imperial dogma and chaos heresy. id like to see the party try to help people/xenos of the expanse more than enslave/destroy them. Unless they leave you no choice that is then dakka-dakka away. A focus on power-building self-interest over extremist ideals. It’s set like 200,000 light years from earth, so there’s room for y’all to be somewhat nice people, right? Semi-trained, pseudo-decent, quasi-professionals? Anyway. That’s my pitch. Hello, everyone. I am Smet, 32yo male, I am running a dnd game on Wednesdays, starting at 6 PM GMT, going for about 3-4 hours on average. We use Discord for voice chat, Roll 20 for virtual table top, Dnd Beyond for character tracking and Beyond 20 extention for those 2 websites to communicate and streamline the experience. Currently the table consists of 2 players. Characters of those players are lvl11 paladins (which is above current adventure level, but I am adjusting). One is Fear-control tank type pure paladin, another is warlock-paladin focused on dealing damage in close combat. Player ages are 37 and 28 (we welcome anyone mature/20+) You will be joining them in the process of figuring out, how to get city of Elturel from the first layer of hell, called Avernus. You will be same level as existing charactrers (level 11) and we progress by milestone. You also will benefit from one extra feat and 2 magic items - rare and an uncommon (Items will have to be reviewed by me as some items like Flame Tongue Swords ruin balance) I am looking for more or less mature people with at least some knowledge of the game (how combat works, how skills are done, a tiny bit understanding of Faerun setting). I am Russian myself, hope there aren't issues with that for you. I plan to have a session 0 next wednesday (06.may.2026), where we'll get to meet each other, chat for a little, figure out bounds and even (maybe, possibly) introduce characters to the campaign and join up the groups if everything goes fast. It's unlikely there will be any combat for that session, so not all parts of your character has to be prepared. From you I ask to have a character basic concept prepared - idea of who they are, where they are comming from; (Optional: 1-2 noteworthy people in their life, and what their character want to achieve in their career) . Stats are either point buy, default array or roll (but that has to be done with everyone present, during the game). Exotic races are allowed. If you have a prefered way to get to the Elturel - tell me (for example: you could teleport into the city as aid, get caught in the descent of the city and survive there until introduction, or arrive there as mercenaries in Blood War.) And as a heads up - I tend to have quite little prep for the session ahead of time and I tend to "wing it" most of the time. People enjoyed it so far. Game: OSE Classic Fantasy Day: Mondays Time: 6.30 PM - 9.30 PM (GMT+1) Frequency: Weekly Location: Roll20 + Discord (voice) I'm running an OSE Classic Fantasy campaign on Mondays, 18:30 to 21:30 (GMT+1). We have four players, but not everyone can make it every week. As such, we're looking for one or two more to join us so we can play more regularly. Both new and experienced players are welcome. We've had 28 sessions so far. Currently, the party is made up of characters ranging from 1st to 3rd level. Players often control multiple characters each session, although this is not a requirement. If you decide to join, you can roll up your own character or take control of a pre-existing one. Adventures take place around Guido's Fort, an isolated frontier settlement in a far-west region. We've been playing through B5 Horror on the Hill, although the party is presently involved in unrelated affairs. I've included homebrew content in the surrounding area, so the module is by no means the sole focus of the campaign. You can expect your typical classic-fantasy fare: exploring dungeons, fighting humanoids, contending with traps, and (hopefully) finding treasure. We don't do a lot of roleplaying, nor is there much focus on character development. Much of the conversation during sessions is out-of-character, although interactions with monsters and NPCs are often in-character. We've just switched from Owlbear Rodeo to Roll20, so there may be a short adjustment period while I get used to it. We use tokens and combat is grid-based. The campaign weaves together several story arcs under the working title Echoes of Nymorath, designed to run to completion in approximately 40 sessions. I'm at the stage where I need a second table to run alongside my existing group for playtesting, so that I can compare how different groups move through the same content. Planned schedule: Sundays at 19:00 CET/CEST, every second week, approx. 4 hours per session What to expect: - D&D 5e 2024 ruleset; Modules, Player's Handbook and core references already set up in Foundry - Online via Foundry VTT. The setting: Nymorath is a continent still finding its footing after a devastating war ended forty years ago. The wounds healed unevenly - some cities rebuilt quickly, some still quietly bleeding, and others left in ruins. Eversail is not only one of the living ones, but bursting with life! A smaller port city with deep roots and a complicated present: merchant guilds pulling in one direction, local factions pulling in another, the church doing its best to hold its ground, and the distant capital of Stoneford casting a long shadow over all three. Trade flows in and out of its docks - not all of it declared, of course. The taverns have regulars with histories, and those histories have their own histories. Above it all, the Administrators' Guild keeps records of everything, which means someone always knows more than they should... which many find less than optimal. In the middle of it all, dark forces are beginning to move, the political tensions that have been simmering since the war are coming to a slow boil, the good old "where there is coin, there is trouble" holds itself true... And there's also a mage who would very much like to get back to his card game. A note on table fit: This is a story-driven campaign in a world that has history and people in it. Characters who exist to break things, obsessively optimize damage, or treat every NPC as either a target or a vending machine will not enjoy it here, and neither will the rest of the table. Speaking of that, I do not consider this campaign to be overly difficult, and it will not be needed to squeeze every bit of might out of your character in order to survive; the characters can freely be played for fun and flair first, for combat efffectiveness second. About me: I started with D&D 2nd Edition about twenty years ago and spent a long time deep in 3.5, as both player and GM... then life happened, and I took a looong break from DnD. What you're looking at now is the result of coming back and deciding that the 497 pages of scrawled notes, maps, and campaign material from those years deserved better than finding its forever home forgotten in some drawer in the basement. I'm in the process of converting all of it into digital format, proper maps, a fully built Foundry module - and rebuilding it for 5e 2024 along the way. Foundry and 5e 2024 are both relatively new to me in practice, and there will probably be moments where I have to look something up mid-session, miss a rule or apply something from an older edition by mistake. Be prepared and have understanding, please. I mostly take the game seriously, but without demanding everyone else does - some silliness is very welcome, if in character. Again, I try to do the silly voices and accents as much as I can, but do not expect everyone else does that - whatever works for you. One thing I need to be upfront about: this campaign is being developed as a commercial release. The people who playtest it are helping shape a product that will eventually be sold. Your feedback genuinely matters, and you should know what you're sitting down at the (virtual) table for. A note/disclaimer on assets: Some placeholder art used during playtesting is AI generated. This is a temporary measure for a campaign in development, not a finished product. Once playtesting is complete, I will be commissioning human artists for everything that needs proper illustration. I’m looking for players for a Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign called The Road Tithe. This is an 8-session dark fantasy campaign about a missing shipment, a buried conspiracy, a hidden underground city, and a race to stop a second genocide before thousands of people are wiped out. The campaign starts with a straightforward road escort job between Thornwall and Greyfen. Then the ground opens beneath you. Half the party is taken below the road into *, a secret civilization descended from people the crown tried to * 150 years ago. The other half is left on the surface with a * wagon, scattered clues, and the growing realization that the * are part of something much larger. Both sides investigate from above and below until the truth comes into focus: *, a plan to * and erase the * good. So I'm a completely new DM, I've never done this before. I was/am making a sci-fi D&D campaign and i wanna test run it! It has 10 sessions in-total (not counting session 0) I don't really know how long these sessions will take as I've never DM'ed before... 40% of combat is 5E, 60% of combat is homebrew It has quite a few homebrew elements most notable being: A ship customizable with module's that effect its stats. Some monsters thats it i think Oh and this campaign isn't the most serious thing but there are some moments you need to lock in. And there are some roles that me and my friend made, so you can think of what you wanna do (at the bottom) Idk where i need to put the world backstory so ima dump it here: (Ik it isn't much but i'll incorperate your backstory into here as best i can) Nagartah (neptune-ish planet) A quiet ice/water giant, nothing special happens here. It has a history of being invaded, but the invaders often quickly leave after seeing there is nothing of value here, or at least thats what they think. There are some gaint Lithium vains that are of significant value, and propels the very few civilizations that live here to incredible tech levels. Thats also why most cyborgs are from here. Jaguda (juipiter-ish planet) There's not much to say about Jaguda, all there is that giant space station that quite an amount of people live on but thats just it Urath (earth-ish planet) A planet with a huge history, I'd rather not go into all the war-crimes that happened during the countless wars that happened here... But it is the most basic planet so idk Luna (Moon-ish Moon) Its a fu##### moon, what do you want me to write about this place? Only real thing is that there is a treaty to not touch/land/do nything on this planet to preserve its natural beauty? Okay the Urath goverment must be on some Star-high dust like B#### WHAT DO YOU MEAN NATURAL BEAUTY THERE'S NOTHING Idra (-ish Planet) Idra is an extremely cold place that is any miners dream, many ores, soft rock, and big caves! But the surface it pretty much un-livable due to the -120 degree C0 winds. Except a giant group of penguins don't agree with this basic common thought and made a civilization here. While they may have a giant fleet, penguins are clumsy yk? Avonria (-ish Moon) On of the 2 big population centers, while the majority of the population might be in EXTREME poverty. The higher-ups and government are insanely rich and posses the strongest ship known to the universe! One half of the planet is a gaint dessert, and the other one an overrun city. And don't worry, the elites are high above in their space station! Dawntor (-ish Moon) Not a big moon with alot of people, but it is the most uniqe! As this is one of the few places where magic is a normal thing, most people that see this are baffeld and suprised that that is real! So ships/parts from here are often interwoven with magic and this planet is the only way to get shields on a ship. And no I see you reading this, if your born on this plant you automtically get magic skills, even without learning! But for others its quite hard, but possible! Especially when they've spent some time on the planet it-self. Experts say this comes from 3 pillars, but come on, who believes them? Today, it is a tainted realm filled with savage creatures, vast deserts, and the remnants of ancient civilizations. Only exiles and beasts reside here, cast out from more 'civilized' territories. The adventure begins in Kirat, a region located on the westernmost edge of the Torn Lands. In this harsh region, beastfolk and tieflings struggle for survival and control over dwindling sources of water. Meanwhile, an endless stretch of cursed dunes slowly and meticulously advances from the east, where terrifying monsters and undead wander its tainted red sands. Notes: This module is survival-heavy, days, food, water, ammunition, and spell components will all need to be tracked. Planning and preparing for the travel will be crucial, and if you dont plan well enough there very well may be consequences that come. My name is Phrough (pronounced 'Frog'), and I'm starting up a new campaign that started with the level 1-11 module Sands of Doom, and after the module is complete, it will be a homebrew adventure to level 20. This campaign is meant to emulate and/or take place in the setting of Eternia, the central planet in the Masters of the Universe world. While only surface knowledge of MOTU (main characters, setting, etc) is needed, if you have deeper knowledge, then feel free to speak up. While not as light-hearted as the 1980s Filmation cartoon, this campaign will still have silly moments and be closer to an adventure of the week campaign with hints of a potential looming threat building in the background.     The campaign will be ran at a local game store close to where I live. The system itself is called "Draw Steel" by MCDM productions. 5. Keeping notes is encouraged among the players. Also, two of my RL friends will be attending the session zero, and I'm only able to run for 4 players at maximum. That means at most there are 2 slots available for would-be players.

< Non Paid > [7-8 CST] [Weekdays, preferably Fridays] I’m looking for a GM who is somewhat experienced (good storyteller)  to lead some new players or new and old on an adventure in the faewild or other fantasy realms! Kind of just like a fantasy focused game. (Elves are welcome!) I would need help rolling to create my character sheet and class (I have a model I made for what she looks like and weapons already). This would be my first actual play game. Old and new players alike are welcome! Hoping for people that tend to make it less awkward for newbies and can bring some fun and energy to the campaign but can also be laid back and patient as well. I can be pretty goofy and energetic (which my character is based around) so wanting people that make others feel comfortable enough to be themselves with their characters. But I can also be a laid back listener when needed.

Embark into the Oactal Expanse in a hunt to remove an Elder Griffon from land that is soon to be developed, The campeign will take place in said Oactal Expanse with you and 4 other parties, all racing ot gather the equipment and levels you need to take it down before the other parties. This will be a story light game because at least for me, the one dm, it will be very mechanically heavy, but the point is to put 5 parties in the same area and have them indirectly interact, leave traps, leave supplies, find old camps, find items lost by others, all on your way to The Griffon! hosted on discord primarally using theater of the mind taking sessions starting close to afternoon ish (11am-3pm) CST and lasting for around 2 hours, hosted on weekdays.
