I enjoy character-driven games with party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and earned emotional moments. Ideal balance: about 40% roleplay, 20% combat, 40% exploration. I like sincere games with humor, but not constant bits, edgelord behavior, or main character syndrome. I fit best with players who share spotlight, cooperate, respect boundaries, and care about everyone’s character mattering. Consent and safety are important to me. Heavy themes, PvP, romance/flirting, sexual content, intense character conflict, or major effects on another PC should be discussed first. Lines and veils should be respected. I’m in Hawaiʻi Time / UTC-10. Weekends are best, and I prefer 2–3 hour sessions. I’m open to voice, PBP, or hybrid formats. Hi, am Aries but you can call me Tommy. Am a bit of an unusual player of TTRPGs due to most of my experience being Solo with Mythic Game Master Emulator. But I have played in a traditional group for about a year before the game disbanded. Admittedly I considered sticking to just Solo play but I decided to go and find a group again. Am an introvert with some social difficulties due to autism but I think am comfortable with playing in a group now that I had practice with the first group I was a part of. While I do have copies of both DND 5E (well the player handbooks at least) I also want to try other games like Savage Worlds and Fabula Ultima. I'm an adult male living in EST. I'd like to play in an inclusive online weekly game. I've been playing 5E (2014) since it came out. I am by no means an expert in the rules though. I am also interested in trying other systems. I've played a bunch of one shots of various systems.

So, about me, been playing for 11-12 years, started out GMing and probably on the whole find that the more rewarding part of the hobby, but I enjoy playing as well. Played quite a range of systems by this point; did my mandatory few years of D&D and Pathfinder, actually started with Dark Heresy. But I've run Shadowrun briefly, Mutants and Masterminds, dipped my toes in World of Darkness. I think a benefit of my time behind the screen is that I'm relatively flexible in what I enjoy. I can go for deep and character driven games, but I also appreciate the fun of a good dungeoncrawl or epic combat. I'm absolutely a sucker for intrigue, but I'm not above playing characters dumb as a brick. I'm perhaps overly comfortable playing morally grey grand bastards, but when I think of my favourite recent characters, the Lawful Good Rogue probably ranks as the most compelling. I'll admit, though I'm by no means someone who can only enjoy hyper-simulationist games, I do occasionally tend to press up against overly artificial system restrictions. In Starfinder, my character did over time trend towards 'why don't we vent the airlock before we go in... soften them up.', and in general, I see a balanced encounter and will often think 'how can rig the deck a bit more in my favour'. Also not a big fan of 'Narrative' games, like Powered by the Apocalypse. For whatever reason, they are the one genre I've never quite meshed with. But yeah, I am generally open to try different systems, and flexible about my exact role in whatever party I join.

I enjoy a good mix of tactical combat, character-driven role play, and creative problem-solving. I'm an actor and director in local community theatre, so I enjoy a lively, active table more focused on "roll and shout" than on grinding to a halt to piece out complex mechanics. I enjoy game universes that react to the PCs' successes and failures, and that are flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of goals.

I've been playing TRPGs for 12 years, and running them for nearly as long. I'm very agreeable, generally try to keep things harmonious within the group. As for preferred playstyle, I love roleplay and exploration, but I get antsy if I go more than a few sessions without any significant action scenes. I work first shift, Monday-Friday, so I prefer weekend games. I'm ok with 18+ content, except for anything sexual. Sex is very much a "veil" for me, and sexual assault is a line. I also don't like religion-bashing (thoughtful themes and discussion are ok though).

I'm 24, and have been playing TTRPGs for about 8 years now! I've mostly played D&D 5e, but I've tried and loved a variety of other systems and I'm always willing to try something new I'm looking for more TTRPG groups for the fun and socialization they bring. Regardless of if I end up becoming close friends with anyone at the table, meeting up with a group of friends every week to play a game like this is just a lot of fun and is an easy way to light up my life a little extra! Hi, I'm James from the UK. I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs for a long time, and I enjoy trying different systems rather than sticking with one game. As you can probably tell from my system list, my tastes are pretty broad! I've played or run everything from Savage Worlds and Dragonbane to Alien, The One Ring, Star Wars, PbtA games, Blades in the Dark and plenty of others. I'm especially interested in Outgunned right now. I enjoy games where the players actually roleplay with each other rather than everything going through the GM. I like character interaction, collaborative storytelling and giving everyone their chance in the spotlight. Combat is great too, especially when it's exciting and has some narrative weight behind it. As a GM, I'm not interested in trying to beat the players. I want to give them situations to interact with, see what they come up with and make their characters look cool while still giving them meaningful challenges. As a player, I bring the same attitude: work with the group, support other people's moments, and help move things forward. I'm UK-based and mainly play online using Foundry VTT and Discord. My availability varies depending on the game, but I'm generally looking for UK/European evening times. I'm also happy playing with people who are completely new to a system. I don't expect everyone to know every rule before we start, especially considering half the fun for me is discovering games I haven't played before.

I really like the strategy and risk involved in combat, and playing brute-force frontliners or utility supports. I prefer to create builds based on what best represents the character I am going for, but I can still adapt to the group's needs when necessary. I'm available on Fridays and Saturdays at any hour, but I can also play during the week depending on the time. My preferences for platforms are FoundryVTT and Roll20 or just theater of the mind, I'm always willing to try new things, but I'll prioritize my own taste over others options. No AI.

Pieces are given to players to form their own connections about histories and figures from the past, and quests are provided should the player want to dive deeper. Player in my 40s, have been around D&D for a few decades but only really played for the past 15 and still use cheat sheets. I've used the Savage Worlds system for post apocolyptic, sci-fi, cyberpunk, fantasy, as well as D&D5e and a very small bit of 2024 (moved away from long time group just after we got the manuals). I've played a few modules, and enjoy, happy with home made storeis too. I'm not big on me roleplaying though i do my best to be true to what my character knows and being consistent to their personality. I like meeting my character as we play. I consider tabletop gaming as a group experiencing a story together. I enjoy others RPing. Not a min maxer, no patience for those that do. I've been exposed to online platforms - i prefer in person but moved to a small town and it is what it is. Tuesdays would be best, some hours between 6pm-12am Not into NSFW although I acknowledge some stories have triggering/adult topics at times. Prefer a table of adults but I have also played with younger teens and it was still fun.

Though playing has crawled out of my comfort zone, I'd like to try playing more! As both a DM and player I like fostering character roleplay, especially creating *interesting dynamics* between PCs and elevating the energy of the RP. I am also a mad theorizer, so if your campaigns include mysteries or investigations, prepare for thousands of wildly inaccurate theories. Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

I've been a DM on and off for 7 years, and can play after work Mon-Thurs and am free sat-sun. I love RP and immersing myself in the fantastical worlds GMs create, though I'm not inexperienced with combat and will play cautiously and tactically as necessary.

Greetings everyone! I'm a somewhat experienced player looking to join a new game, as I'm getting that itch to play in more games than I currently have! Below is some relevant information about me. Availability: I currently DM a game on Fridays and I'm a player in a campaign on Saturdays nights (starting at 23 UTC, so I can still play on Saturdays so long as the session ends before then), and due to a flexible work schedule, I can make almost any other (reasonable) day/time work for at least the next year. I would prefer a weekly game, but every other week also works. System preference: I don't really mind too much what's being used. I have experience with PF2e and D&D 2014, and a bit with SWADE - I'm currently DMing a campaign using it, 8 sessions in. If we're playing D&D, I'd like to take a look at the 2024 version, as I like most of the changes. About me: I'm a 24 year old guy who's been playing fairly consistently for 5-6 years now. I'm from Brazil so I do have a noticeable accent, but I'm fluent, I promise! Both of the campaigns I'm currently in are fully in English. I despise AI-generated content. I'm sorry, but it's just downright bad and often distracting enough to take me out of the game. If you use AI images often, I'd rather not be in the game. Also I'm gay, if that matters to anyone. What kind of game I'd like: I'm fond of roleplay and PC characterization. Having interactions while maintaining character, be they short remarks or deep conversations, is what I play TTRPGs for! That all being said, I still love combat and exploration with the odd puzzle here and there, and would love a healthy mix of these elements. Sandbox-style campaigns where we are free to explore the character's backgrounds and personal goals while having an overarching objective or even just intriguing side quests would be my favorite type of game. I prefer medieval/steampunk fantasy games most of the time, but I'm not at all opposed to a high-tech/sci-fi campaign! It could be fun. What kinds of characters I usually make: Personality-wise, it varies on the campaign's premise, the game's tone, and my mood at the time. I'm totally down to make anything from an irredeemable villain to a young naive hero. Combat-wise, it depends on the system, but I have a weakspot for "gishes" who blend martial and caster elements. I am guilty of making many "monstrous" characters (my username here is ironic) be they warforged, gargoyles, undead, or just beastmen of any kind. I won't pick something that would be inconvenient/impossible/unfun in your particular setting, though! I want my character to still fit in the world. But if it is a lower fantasy game where player options are more restricted, I'd probably prefer not to join. Not that a character needs an exotic race to be interesting, but I just find the design and appeal of less standard options far more fun to build around, personally! I run an online D&D game atm, but would like to play in person, maybe something not d&d. I've played tons of RPGs over the years, and introduced my wife to the hobby, would like to play different sorts of games with different groups and styles just to do something different.
