Kilgore, Texas

The adventure has begun! Playing 2nd Edition AD&D and going through some modified Old School modules. Currently meeting on the first and third Sunday of every month from 5 to 9 pm at Dragon's Nest in Kilgore, Texas. The DM, me, is a 61 year old, straight, white male who has been playing D&D off and on since 1980. No experience required.  Heroic campaign in a realistic fantasy world.  Cities are inhabited by humans. This is not a Star Wars cantina world. :) Table Rules: No phones. No profanity. No politics. No religion. No drugs. No alcohol.

Hello! My name is Alexis and I am the DM for a DnD campaign in my homebrew world of Aegrumund. I am 20 years old, have been playing dnd for about 5 years and DM’ing for a little over 3. Currently I am looking for 2 new players to build the party back up to a team of 6. Previous players left due to schedule complications. You’ll be joining another new player for a 3 player mini-adventure (2 sessions) before joining the rest. Sessions are on Sundays weekly at 17:00 GMT, we use 2024 5e rules, use owlbear for maps and use dndbeyond for character creation and rolls. Rules Absolutely no bigotry. Age range preferably 18-23. Preferably a basic understanding of DnD I try to keep things going smoothly, so don’t argue when I try to move things along. If you cannot make it to a session, please notify as soon as you are able. What to expect Setting: Aegrumund is a very homebrewed setting, so many things are different. So don’t argue with me that something is not like how it is in base DnD lore. This includes Gods, the world of Aegrumund has a unique pantheon that is filled with renamed DnD deities and unique deities I’ve come up with. There will be around 11 countries to choose from which I’ll discuss at end of post. Technology: The technology is more advanced than typical fantasy setting, with the world having tech about equal to early 20th century, so there are things such as biplanes, trains, vehicles, and firearms. Though firearms did not have as much as an impact as they have had in real life, so armour and other weapons are still prevalent. Atmosphere and themes: This campaign is very political and explores serious themes such as xenophobia, fascism, corruption of politics, and the casualties of war. Despite the serious subject matters, there will still be many lighthearted moments. A lot of the core themes of the campaign revolve around togetherness and the prevalence of hope against all odds. Gameplay: I try to offer a good mix of exploration, combat and roleplay. With combat, sometimes it will be grand battles and other times it's many smaller battles with fitting enemies that slowly chip away at you. It is quite a roleplay focused group and your backstory will absolutely matter and I will do y best to make nods to it throughout the campaign even if it takes a while to get to. I try to give everyone their spotlight moment.  Story: The world is ending, although not many know it. This will soon be discovered by your characters. The story will revolve around your characters travelling across the world and gathering resources, experience, and allies to put a stop to the nothingness that wishes to encapsulate the universe. Your characters will have to deal with their own flaws and the flaws of the world to have a fighting chance against their adversaries Now here are small snippets of the current characters. Kalashtar Artificer (Armourer) who is determined to remember more of their past and provide freedom for those they come across. Leonin Barbarian (Giant) who goes place to place hunting down dangerous monsters that threaten all around them; has a penchant for hating pirates. Tiefling Druid (Stars) who is constantly on the move, yet gets overly attached to those around her, although plays a safe distance of religious folk; hates liars. Please make sure to build a character that can work with others and is preferably not evil alligned, as I have had players try to get away with incredibly questionable missions, getting upset when confronted. Here are descriptions of the 11 countries of Lyoren and Euloshia. Lyoren Viarose, Ascadiya and Dourzier are all apart of the Dourzieran Empire Viarose: This is the country where the wind sings; large crop fields, open plains, and flower fields that on as far as the eye can see; fey magic is known to rustle through the long grass throughout the land. Viarose is one of the biggest grain producers of the world and is known to have extremely good education. A country where the food is plentiful and people are more than happy to share. Ascadiya:Ascadiya is full of mountanous spires and forests full of tall trees. Their number one export is timber, as they have aircrafts that are able to fly overhead and plant seeds and special fertiliser, creating a balance of give and take. Not everyone has caught on to this life style, however, as sky pirates can still be seen flying above the homes of many. Many birdfolk live up high in the trees and dwarves have made their homes in the mountains. Dourzier: Dourzier leads the world in innovation. Producing some of the greatest technological minds and the blueprints for technology that will change the world. Dourzier is the largest user of magetech, technology that combines forward thinking technology and incredibly magic. Dourzier is the home of all kinds of people, a majority focused on becoming unique individuals, making something of themselves and not blending in with the crowd. f Skovadin: Skovadin is a cold ruthless country that prioritises industrialisation. They do not take kindly to Dourziers magetech and prefer the traditional tech of steam and smoke. Many dwarves, goliaths, humans, orcs, and gnomes have made their home here, carrying on the practice of old giant and dwarven runes to progress their society. Despite the cold nature, many Skovadins are welcoming and take pride in making efforts to contribute greatly to their community. Mipheer:Mipheer is full of large forests which host a plethora of flora and fauna. People and nature are intertwined. Nature has a voice here and people listen. Mipheer is home to many of those who live in the moment, and can be aloof at times. It is also home to the Emerald Eye, a group of people who seek to learn as much as they can and share it with many, so corruption may not spread. Like Viarose, fey magic is prevalent here, although it has more presence throughout the beautiful massive woods. Sombrirciel: Sombrirciel is a country almost entirely underground. Underneath the great mountainous expanses near Skovadin is where Sombrirciel lies, with large artificial and natural formations holding up the ceiling, which is home to thousands of glittering rocks resembling stars. Sombrirciel is full of those who managed to escape the enslavement of tyrants below them, now sealed off, hopefully for good. Euloshia Vuluvaki: Vuluvaki is a large expanse of savannahs, forests, and deserts. While many of the world considers Vuluvaki to be less advanced, they show themselves to be extremely experienced in agriculture, craftsmanship, and the sciences. It is home to a strange phenomenon that seems to drive people mad the deeper into Robaria one goes. Many worry about it spreading, but many Robarian priests seem to manage to be able to claim it. Kinaezi: Kinaezi is one of the leading countries when it comes to medicinal technology, using a combination of innovative magetech and the traditional arts of natural herbalism. In recent years, Kinaezi has focused a lot of it’s efforts on modern industrialisation and providing more infrastructure for the ever increasing population. Kinaezi argues for a world that combines traditionalism and industrialisation to truly make progress. Corazia: Corazia is a land full of lush jungles, hosting a wide array of fauna and flora. It prides itself on it’s massive outputs of fruit produce and it’s incredibly powerful military which makes good use of Corazia’s war technology. The people are determined, hard working, and thrive within communities. The society is very meritocratic, with strength and intelligence being very prized within the country. Republic of Guastia: This island chain country prides itself in its seafaring technology, being able to explore great distances and having world renowned seafood. The people of Guastia are welcoming and wear both their heart and tradition on their sleeves. Nature and spirituality is highly valued here, making use of what the land gives you and being thankful for what you receive. Sashismar: Sashismar is an incredibly beautiful scenic coastal country where the sea breeze spans for miles. Many nobles reside here, enjoying the riches of Sashimar being one of the largest trading countries in the world. There is never a day without entertainment, many people come here to enjoy the delicious seafood, the lovely beaches, endless alcohol, and of course the never-ending gossip with the noble houses. Lore bit The current year is 1784 of the Age of Empowerment. Euloshia is improving exponentially, with trade, production, and invention increasing ever more. This is a stark contrast to about a hundred years ago when a great event caused massive war. Dourzier was on the cusp of an amazing discovery, however, they needed a specific location. A specific village in Skovadin had everything Dourzier needed. So it was, work was set immediately. However, the experiment went wrong, Skovadin accused Dourzier of this being some hidden terrorist attack, Dourzier of course refuted this. This meant war, Skovadin troops were sent to Dourzierian occupied land and began taking money and resources. Dourzier and Skovadin both made their allies join the war. If you’ve managed to read all this. Let me know your favourite colour. Eventually, both sides couldn't afford to wage war, instead refusing to trade with one another, and making their allies follow suit. This would've had catastrophic effects had several groups of people secretly trades resources to one another. Eventually, both sides decided they couldn't afford to be isolated, opening up trade and travel about 20 odd years ago. Many are still reeling from the effects, and still converse whether the experiment going wrong was the goal or not. When do we start? Session 0 will have all new players, all old players, and of course me the DM on the 8th of February (Sunday) at 17:00 to go through characters concepts and have everyone get to know each other. Then on the 15th and 22nd, the three new players will have their first sessions together, with march 1st being the first session with all players together and then it will continue like that regularly. Again, sessions will be on Sundays at 17:00 GMT. Interested? Apply here! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSezAqNcZ1y_rLEsckamhvkL4X8aB7tvEWnsP47qgWnmdF52Cg/viewform?usp=sharing

"The Veilbreakers are a unique, high-level group in a long-term campaign set in a world where history has been carefully edited and truth itself is dangerous. As a new member of the Veilbreakers, you will navigate rival factions, secret cults, noble houses, mercenary companies, and a dominant faith—The Church- now known by the Veilbreakers to be the Church of Irax'Thul—an Old God returning to the world for Conquest and Domination. Political alliances fracture, cities destabilize, and every decision you make reshapes who holds power, who controls the narrative, and who is silenced for knowing too much. You are not chosen heroes—you are witnesses who have seen the veil torn, and the world is already reacting. As draconic powers stir and ancient gods begin to return and reclaim their stolen sight, divine conflict spills into streets, battlefields, and council chambers. You will decide which factions rise or burn, which truths are revealed or buried, and whether the Old Gods who return to challenge Irax'Thul will arrive diminished—or in full wrath. There is no fixed outcome, no protected canon, and no safe neutrality. This is a campaign for players who want consequence, intrigue, and a living world that remembers every choice." Twinned Realms GMT+8 8:30pm Sunday Eastern fantasy

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
D&D 5e 2014] [looking for additional players] [GMT+8 8:30pm Sunday] Eastern fantasy role play heavy campaign I am a relatively experienced DM looking for an extra player or two for my campaign. There are currently four players. The setting is a homebrew eastern fantasy with light scifi elements. it is theater of the mind but I do make some basic maps in roll20 for important combat. We primarily play on discord on a server via voice chat . Some important things to note This will be a roleplay heavy campaign, combat will be rare, meaningful events. as well as that this is a living breathing world and your actions have consequences. Things will happen with or without player interactions. Some of my homebrew rules regarding character creation level 5 Free feat at character creation Stats can be rolled with the standard 4d6 drop one. If you use you may use a modified point buy of 27 points with the minimum being six and the max being sixteen. Bows are re-flavored as guns. May add homebrew guns as we see fit, There are race restrictions; you can play human, elf and any beast/ animal related race. Also any demonic and monstrous race. But no dwarves, , gnomes and halflings, centaurs and fairies The most common races are Teiflings, dragonborn, elves, Beast races and humans When creating your character could you please link your character to a paragon (god) and an organization if possible. When rolling hp if it is lower than the average you can take the average and you can reroll ones. Everyone can speak Common and Hellsong (homebrew language replacing Abyssal and infernal) , the two major languages of Gaia and Syatra Starting money of 300 jade coins All official classes are ok subclasses most should be fine unless very setting specific. I am open to the 2024 class changes and rules but not experienced with them. Some home rules  every +1 in int should give u a skill, language or tool proficiency You can drink a potion as a bonus action to roll for healing or drink as an action to receive max healing. Any sort of dimensional travel can only travel between the opposite dimension. Eg. If you're in Gaia and use a dimensional travel ability/spell you will travel to Syatra and vice versa. Resurrection is incredibly rare and powerful magic. Thus is inaccessible by most. If needed then one must gain the favor of a powerful being capable of such a feat. Rare and expensive materials may be needed for the ritual as well. Meaning, you will have to do a difficult side quest to get a resurrection. The hook: You are mercenaries in the capital city of the holy obsidian empire, Karános. You have been hired  as extra muscle and to help with patrols as the city is dealing with a corrupting song that is seemingly causing people to go mad and fly into a frenzy. Thus causing crime to sky rocket and the Onyx capes are understaffed. But there are rumors that of monsters made of bone and crystal that don't meet any classification Attached is a google form which if you are interested to please fill out. There is also a link to the lore document. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScb9taIF5bHI_7_t1wEuJV_xb4M86_sNF6q7xqvTBl-tjVijw/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=111873040246148403682 There is also a completely optional lore document about the setting and the important npcs for you to peruse if you want to get an idea of a character and the setting https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ec061ihfoSOZ1-Ja-a1Ol6_Xhasy09UvErLABJG9CtQ/edit?usp=sharing If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
I’m a dad looking to spend my free time meeting some nice people online and showing them the world I’ve made.  I love building mini games and puzzles and sharing my homebrew with others.  Since I can’t do that with my friends, I hope to find some cool people here who want to check out my world. Cheers! If any players enjoy my adventure I'd love to continue playing with them once a month and have fun just diving into my homebrew world.  If there is interest I will create more adventures for future playthroughs. The Plot: "An exclusive auction in the seaside town of Nighthaven has drawn nobles, wanderers, and fortune-seekers from across Edoran. Rumor whispers of miraculous seeds, rare treasures said to cure any illness, mend the gravest wounds, and perhaps even defy time itself. Gold is flowing, tensions are high, and behind every eager smile lurks a hungry ambition. You and your companions have been chosen to protect a wealthy bidder and secure the prize at all costs. But in Nighthaven, fortune favors the bold… and danger is never far behind. Will you outwit rival seekers, survive the high-stakes bidding war, and claim the ultimate reward?" Game System: D&D 5E 2014 or 2024 Tools: Discord and DnDBeyond.com Schedule: Friday February 6th 8:00 PM EST 2 to 5 players ✅ Must-Haves Before the Game: 💬 Discord Account – Required The entire game takes place in Discord voice chat, with visuals streamed directly through the app. Make sure you have a Discord account and can join the server link I’ll send you. 🎧 A Good Mic 🎥 Camera Strongly Encouraged 💻 Use a Desktop or Laptop. Phones are not supported. iPads? Also not ideal. You’ll need to see detailed visuals I’m screen-sharing, like puzzle interfaces, app-style minigames, and cinematic clips. These simply won’t display correctly on a tiny screen. 🧙 Character Level & Stats Starting Level: Level 3 Stat Generation: Any official method is fine, Standard Array, Point Buy, or even rolling. Want to roll 4d6 and drop the lowest? Go for it. Want to use an array to save time? Totally fine. Just don’t completely homebrew the system. 📘 Allowed Materials Use anything from official D&D books (yes, even wild subclasses and expansions from things like Tasha’s, Xanathar’s, or Spelljammer etc...). Safety Tools: I use breaks and open door. The game has fantasy violence and swearing, but the tone is very casual and often silly at times. Hey, I have a video link I made that  talks about the style of game I run.  I thought a video would be a fun way to describe my puzzles and homebrew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRCoeHd8GJ4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9e_Uw3LZ9E I made this video explaining that sometimes for like "minor skirmishes" I use this mini game for combat to resolve insignificant fights that come up.  It's very strange indeed. There’s also regular combat via DnDBeyond’s Map VTT as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A97rlJ0In4&feature=youtu.be I also made this video explaining what I'm not good at as a DM. lol Well... there's probably lots of things I'm not good at, but I think the video covers the biggest ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNa9x6sphUc&feature=youtu.be I also have this think to my Legend Keeper account where I host some information about my homebrew world.  You can find a world map there as well. https://www.legendkeeper.com/app/clhxgapxr8np70823mvk2ftm5

Two people looking for a long term group

Hi all, I'm looking for a new campaign to join/create with my Friend Lydia. We both have Characters and Backstories already made up and are looking for a place to use them. About me: I think I can consider myself relatively seasoned now as I've been playing on and off for a couple years now. I am a big RP guy and love making a character that acts in the forefront, rather than a quiet one on the side. About my friend: she claims to be relatively new to DND (but id say were pretty even in experience) and has had many campains fall apart due to scheduling conflicts. When we can play: We are pretty locked down and can only play from 3PM-5PM on Mondays, due to her work and my continued schooling. Misc info: I have a discord account (ofc) and am aquatinted with Tabletop Sim on steam and Roll 20, but am willing to try anything else (other than DND beyond, I generally don't like using it), and my friend has only done Roll20 to my knowledge but is willing to try anything else as well. Interested? Want some new friendly faces in your campaign? Message me!

Schedule: Weekly on Wednesdays or Thursdays Experience: None required; enthusiasm for roleplay appreciated Age: 18+ only About the Setting - Inspired by the Fallout games and renewed interest from the TV show, this campaign takes place in a custom region of post-war Washington State known as the Emerald Range. Expect dark themes wrapped in the humor the franchise does so well, strange factions, dangerous wasteland travel, and room for your character’s backstory to meaningfully shape the world. - Playstyle: My sessions go for a cinematic feel with a mix of roleplay and combat (around 50/50). Each session plays like an episode in a show the cast of player characters star in. - Attendance: I expect 24-hour notice if you’ll miss a session. One player missing means we still play; two missing means we will cancel or reschedule. - Session Length: ~4 hours Before We Begin: I will run a short one-shot at a game store to test group dynamics, followed by a Session Zero. We will craft characters at/between Session Zero and Session One. Normal sessions will be at my home. About Me - My name is Isaiah. I run character-driven campaigns with worldbuilding, mysteries, and choices that matter. I’ve been DMing for 4+ years, playing almost weekly for most of that time. If you enjoy collaborative storytelling and fun with nerdy friends, you’ll fit right in. Application Form

Dark Sun: A little knowledge

I’m looking to attempt running a 2e Dark Sun game as you may have gathered from the title. I’ll be running the pre written adventure “A Little Knowledge where the party starts off in the depths of a slave hold traversing the Athasian desert! A disclaimer about me is that I’m pretty new to dm’ing. And frankly I don’t have much experience with 2e aside from a few online games. And Dark Sun is a setting that most people wouldn’t recommend for beginners. However, everyone’s gotta start somewhere and I have a soft spot for this setting in particular. I’m looking to run either a voice or play by post game, each having its own advantages and disadvantages. All are welcome, however I’m hoping for a party of a three to five players. It won’t be first come first serve but once I’ve found a group of like minded people I plan to start the game as soon as possible. Thanks for reading this wall of text and I look forward to playing! (Also this is free! I don't think I'm good enough to ask for money yet lol!)

Hungry World - Homebrew Horror 5e Campaign

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
(Originally wrote this as a reddit post, please mind the formatting lol) Hi folks! My name is Eli (they/he), I am a 28 year old enby DM with ~5 years DMing experience in 5e and I am looking for 1-2 players to round out our existing party and join my newest campaign called Hungry World! Hungry World takes place in the world of Esurio, where surges of wild magic have been sprouting up all over the world, scarring the landscape and warping the world as we know it. Your group will be tasked with finding out the cause of these surges, and discovering the answers to other mysteries along the way. I am creating the skeleton of the entire world and pantheon myself, taking inspiration from canon D&D lore, Critical Role, The Magnus Archives, The Thing (1982), real world mythologies (esp Celtic and Jewish, as those are my backgrounds) and some other fun stuff along the way. I am looking for players that can help create and fill out this world with me, leaving your own personal mark on this newly fabricated space. This game will be meeting every other week, likely starting Feb. 20th, at 8pm EST and will typically run 2-3 hours. The group already had session 0 so I will likely be having a 1- or 2-on-1 session 0 with whoever joins. Current Party: Tiefling Way of the Astral Self Monk Tiefling Swarm Keeper Ranger Halfling Wild Magic Sorcerer (I would like a cleric to join, as our last cleric had to drop out, but I have other plans if that isn't something you're interested in! Happy to share the pantheon I've made so far with anyone looking to play a cleric/religious character, just didn't want to completely overload this post with text moreso than I already have lol) Requirements to join - Be 21+ (current party is all late 20s/early 30s) - Have Discord and Roll20 accounts (sheets will be made on Roll20) - Be okay with having voice/video on during session. I prefer to have both voice and video, but voice only is okay too! - Be okay with session audio being recorded. This will be for private use, it will be uploaded to my google drive (which you will have access to) for posterity and note taking purposes. - Be okay with body horror, as that will be a fairly major theme in certain parts of the game. Also, if insects and/or trypophobia are an issue for you, heads up that a PC (and their art) have these as a big feature.         - Note, if you are okay with body horror in general but have a specific type that you aren't keen on (ex. eye horror), I'm happy to work around that and accommodate! - Be okay with PC death. I don't think I'm a particularly bloodthirsty DM, but I like a fun, brutal combat encounter from time to time. Note that I treat PC death seriously in my games, but it doesn't mean it will necessarily be the end of the line for your character (if you don't want it to be). There will always be an option to come back, but there is also the option to let your PC stay dead. - Be open and communicative with me. I'm not asking you to always answer me immediately, but I do ask that any conflicts (of time/scheduling or in game) be brought to me in a timely manner. Just want everyone to be on the same page. - Looking for a serious game that you will interact with outside of session time. I'm looking for someone who will do more than just "check in/out" for session time. I'm not asking for anything too intense but I really enjoy just talking about characters outside of game, even just as simply as sharing memes about characters. I really like a slightly higher level of engagement to really show that you are invested in the game. I'm not expecting this at all times, I'm reasonable and know life is busy and that absolutely always comes first, but any show of engagement outside of game would make me really happy. - Absolutely no generative AI, there is no room for that in my game. - Just be cool! No intolerance will be accepted at my table, we're all just here to have a fun and goofy (and-possibly-traumatizing-for-the-PCs) time 😊 Looking for (but not required) - Would prefer folks with some TTRPG/D&D experience, but players of all levels are welcome! - Players who prefer heavy RP and who aren't afraid to prompt RP themselves. - You don't have to be queer but I've played with mostly all queer groups (and the current table is all queer) and my world will be heavily queer (trans NPCs, NPCs with neopronouns, not a single cishet NPC lol). So long as you're cool and respectful, you're welcome at my table. General Game Vibes - I definitely prefer to run RP/character-centric games, but that does not mean things like combat and world exploration will be forgotten. I'd say it's gonna be about a 60/20/20 (RP/combat/exploration) breakdown, give or take.        - I also have a handful of NPCs already created that have little backstories in the game server and would be very happy to have PCs with history/connections to them (not required, I just love my little guys lol) - I prefer a bit more of a serious tone to my games, but I'm also all for laughs and goofs. I love adding humor into the game but at the end of the day, I just ask that the world/story be taken seriously. - There will be some heavy leaning into horror territories, especially body horror, but this is not an entirely horror themed campaign. It will still be typical fantasy with some horror elements to spice things up.         - Main themes: Corruption, Greed and Overconsumption         - Main horror themes: Body horror/transformation, loss of self/identity and loss of control/autonomy (there will be consent talks before this!) Character Creation Info - Starting at level 3 (unsure of where we will end, but this will be a long-term game, so likely into the higher levels/15+) - Pretty much all standard D&D/fantasy races, except for warforged (or any other "inorganic" races), are allowed. - Homebrew races/subclasses/backgrounds are allowed, but must be run by me first. - Any race with a higher than average speed (35ft+, like aarakocra, tabaxi, satyr, etc) cannot be a monk. You can be those one of races *or* a monk if you want, but you cannot be the combination of the two (I learned this lesson the hard way with a way too fast aarakocra monk PC in another game lol) - Rolled stat generation - HP can be fixed or rolled (if rolled, reroll 1s) - Password: Sunrise - Multiclassing allowed (your stats do not have to meet multiclass requirements) - Optional class features (from Tasha's) allowed - Milestone leveling - Everyone starts with 1 free Common magic item - Would love to get at least a small backstory document from each player so I can work their story into the game from the beginning. It doesn't have to be super in depth, but I would like at least a bit of deep thought put into the character's origin. If you give me a huge backstory document with lots of juicy details to sink my teeth into, I will be kissing you on the mouth (consensual/platonic). Just be willing to possibly change some details up to fit the world/story ideas I currently have! Homebrew Rules - Everyone starts with one free DM inspiration (free d20 reroll) and more can be earned with creative game play. - Sorcerers can be CON casters (instead of CHA). I will also allow other main class ability changes with some discussion. - Only rule I am taking from the 2024 rule set: Exhaustion (10 levels instead of 6, and subtracting current # of exhaustion levels from all d20 rolls) - Exploding crits (any die rolled to the highest value is rerolled and continually added to total damage until rolled below highest value). Ex: crit on 4d10, you would roll 8d10. If you rolled a 10 on any of those dice, you would keep rolling and adding until you roll that die below a 10. - "Beyond the Limit" spell slots (idk if this idea has an actual name lol). Basically, you can keep using your spell slots, even once you have run out of them, but at the cost of level(s) of exhaustion equal to the spell level of the slot Ex: a 2nd level spell slot recovered this way would give you 2 levels of exhaustion. I am still playtesting this idea, including playing around with the idea of allowing this for non-casters with class/race abilities, but it might change around a bit. - Sanity/Fear checks. I'm stealing this from Call of Cthulhu and will be using a fear system that could possibly lead to your PC developing phobias and other effects based on the horrific things you may encounter. - While I tend to stick to mostly RAW (rules as written), I'm also open to rule of cool when it would benefit the story/the enjoyment of the players. Other notes - Everyone is welcome at my table. I am a white queer enby, who is disabled/neurodivergent, and will always try my best to foster safe spaces for folks. - Safety tools are used at the table. I use lines and veils, X cards, TTRPG consent forms, after session unwinding/discussions and am open to others! - You're allowed to roll physical or digital dice, the only roll I ask for to always be rolled digitally is death saves. (Or if you wanna point your camera at your dice so I can see you roll, that works too lol) If you're interested, fill out the form below and I'll get back to you soon! Once I've reviewed the submissions, I will reach out via Discord so we can sit and have a chat to see if we might be a good fit! I'll likely need a few days to go over the submissions, so if I'm interested in your responses, I'll likely reach out by the end of the week (Feb. 7th). Form Link

[D&D 5E] Legends of Kaldolna

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
The Old World grows silent. The continent ready to rekindle a war once silenced. Machinations beyond mortal comprehension begin anew. Where the peoples of this land hold their breath, what call will you answer to?    Legends of Kaldolna is a homebrewed adventure set far from the Sword Coast across the sea, in a land that has long been rife with political struggles and ideological turmoil. Where it's original inhabitents and pilgrims from centuries ago simmer in old grudges, whilst new power begins to take root once more. A land of opportunity and adventure abound for those wishing to take the plunge and seek out it's mysteries.    A large scale landmass with a variety of races and biomes, there is no end to the potential where your adventures can take you. From the old elven forests that dominate the southern regions of the continent, to the desert freehold expanses to the north past the towering mountains, there is no shortage of wonderment and exploration abound. Whether your character is a native of Kadolna or from a far off region of the familiar world of D&D 5E, your presence is welcome and available!    I've been DMing secular groups of players within my hometown for about four years now, giving me an intermediate level of experience. I urge players of all knowledge levels to not fear jumping in. I myself am always learning and am far from the perfect dungeon master. But I can promise a focus on roleplay inclusion and a direct effort to maintain balance and enjoyment within the world I have crafted. All elements within the campaign are funded, sourced, or created by me. No additional costs are asked of the players.   This is NOT a professionally ran campaign. This will be my first time running such a thing outside of oneshots. I've done my best to keep the quality of the maps, sheets, and pictures similar amongst my materials. But some inconsistencies are present. If that is a turn off for you, then passing up this campaign might be for the best. But I hope some will consider dropping by and inquiring further, even just to feel it out.  Thanks for reading and I hope to hear aback from some of you!

New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The forest is old, older than kings, older than roads, older than the words used to name it. Moss covered stones whisper half remembered oaths. Lantern light bends strangely between the trees. Bells toll where no church stands. This campaign is set in Dolmenwood, a fairytale wilderness on the edge of a crumbling human realm. It is a land of crooked paths and stranger customs, where faerie courts feud behind smiling masks, saints lie uneasily in their graves, and villages cling to tradition as protection against the unknown. You will play ordinary folk and wandering adventurers drawn into the Wood by coin, duty, curiosity, or desperation. Survival favors caution, clever bargains, and old superstitions as much as iron. Violence is quick and dangerous. Words matter. Expect: Fairytale whimsy & folklore horror Exploration and social encounters A living world shaped by your choices Style & Rules: Rules-light, OSR-style sandbox hexcrawl No planned main plot, play is player-driven Randomly rolled stats Dangerous, unbalanced world where consequences matter Logistics: Platform: Fantasy Grounds (free for players) and discord Schedule: Weekly on Friday evenings  Length: Short-to-medium campaign, with room to continue New players are welcome! As long as you are making a good effort I am happy to help with learning the ropes. I aim to foster a fun low stress enviroment.  The Wood is not evil. But it is not kind.

Hello~! This is my first time posting here. I was recommended this site from Reddit, but to sum up, I need players to help me stress-test a Star Wars game system I've been developing that's based on D&D 3.5/Pathfinder 1E. I have a general idea of where I want the plot to go, but I'm willing to change it up based on what the players want to do. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Looking to get a table together of players for a campaign. I'm willing to DM if needed, but would prefer to be a player for a change.  Haven't been able to have a real campaign since my kids were born, but I finally have consistent free time on weekends, just having trouble finding an in person group.

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Hello, my name is Cameron. I’m a 25-year-old male. I have started a new DnD group and have 4 members I am looking for 1 more player to run **Lost Mine of Phandelver**. Sessions will be every Thursday starting at **8:00 PM GMT** and running 2-4 hours. I have DMed three times before but still consider myself a beginner, so I’m ideally looking for newer players, especially those who haven’t played this module before. That said, more experienced players are welcome as long as you’re patient and happy playing in a beginner-friendly group. We will be using Roll20 and Google sheets for VTT and character sheets. We’ll be running a Session 0 before the campaign starts to go over expectations, character creation, and any questions on the coming 5th of Feb The game will focus on a balanced mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat, with a relaxed and respectful table atmosphere. The goal is for everyone to have fun and feel comfortable learning and playing together. Characters will be created before or during Session 0 using official D&D 5e material though feel free to discuss any homebrew with me. As of right now we have an Elf Paladin, Kobold Rogue, race not chosen yet Warlock, and Ranger. We had a cleric before but unfortunately they had to drop out. The Hook: **The characters are in the city of Neverwinter when they are approached by a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker. Gundren is a cheerful, ambitious prospector who claims to have discovered something important near the frontier town of Phandalin. He is tight-lipped about the details but clearly excited.** **Gundren explains that he needs a group of adventurers to escort a wagon of supplies to Phandalin. The cargo consists of provisions and mining equipment intended for a contact in town, Barthen’s Provisions. Gundren offers to pay the characters 10 gold pieces each for guarding the wagon on the road.** **Gundren and his human companion, Sildar Hallwinter, plan to ride ahead on horseback to Phandalin while the characters follow with the wagon. They ask the party to deliver the supplies safely and meet them in town within a few days. Gundren promises that there may be more lucrative work available once they arrive.** If any people are interested in joining the campaign please fill out the following form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd0wrt6_7ZGjOqPLeGavwR6XrLYHalZI1kxJCx30VKCOOjy4A/viewform?usp=header

Welcome to New York Under Darkness Available clans: Assamite Antitribu Lasombra Antitribu Followers of Set Samedi Available Bloodlines: Mariner Gangrel Harbingers of Skulls Ishtarri Daughters of Cacophony Salubri Baali The City That Never Sleeps has always been a jewel for the Kindred. Its teeming masses provide endless feeding, its power structures offer ample opportunities for influence, and its cultural significance cements it as a place of prestige. But for decades, New York has been a battleground, ravaged by Sabbat fanaticism and lost to their bloody crusades. Base system: Play by post and voice with books used from vampire v20, revised and some others. But with a focus on v20. Any Homebrew?: None Language: English Setting: Modern-day New York City, freshly reclaimed by the Camarilla. Game Style: Narrative-driven, intrigue-heavy, with a balance of politics, mystery, and action. The Camarilla has clawed New York back from the Sabbat in a brutal campaign, but the battle is far from over. An Archon temporarily rules as acting Prince, calling on Kindred from around the globe to aid in restoring the city to its former glory, and securing it as a bastion of the Camarilla. New York is ripe with opportunity, but also rife with danger. What to Expect: All Levels of Experience Welcome: Whether you're new to Vampire: The Masquerade or a seasoned player, you'll find a place in this story. Now, for the first time in living memory, the Camarilla holds the upper hand. The victory didn’t come easy. The Camarilla launched a brutal offensive, clawing the city back street by street, skyscraper by skyscraper. The Sabbat were scattered, driven underground, or outright destroyed. But the fight left the city in shambles. Manhattan’s towers may still gleam in the moonlight, but the Camarilla’s grip is tenuous, the victory fragile. An Archon, appointed by the Inner Circle, now serves as the city’s acting Prince. This Archon has made one thing clear: New York must become a Camarilla stronghold once again. The Camarilla has sent word across the globe, calling for loyal Kindred to come to New York. From the ambitious neonates looking to make a name for themselves, to Ancilla seeking new opportunities, to elders fleeing unstable domains, After several princes the Domain of New York stood yet on the break of chaos, some princes died, some left the city in shame. And some, got forced to step down from their corrupt seat by the cities combined Primogen. Now, an Ancilla of clan Gangrel holds the seat. Weeks into his newfound power he seems to be a good fit. The city is in despair, cults of strange people, Sabbat packs roaming in the shadows, werewolf's in the forests. Despite the chaos, the Camarilla has not given up its claim. Warlord Karsh himself led a brutal war party against the remnants of the Sabbat, forcing them northward, away from the city’s core. Though weakened, the Sabbat have not been destroyed; they regroup in the shadows, licking their wounds and preparing for the next strike. Their exile has only made them more desperate, and desperation breeds recklessness. Beneath the surface, something stirs. Rumours abound of ancient artifacts tied to the six great clans of old, powerful relics thought to have been lost to history. Some say these artifacts could turn the tide against the Sabbat for good, while others whisper of even darker forces that might be awakened if they are found. And then there are the shadows that seem to grow longer by the night. Worse still, other things, older things, seem drawn to New York’s chaos. Whispers of apocalyptic cults, enigmatic Methuselahs, and something far older than Kindred echo in the dark alleys. This is the New York you step into. The Camarilla needs builders, warriors, spies, and visionaries. But survival in this city means navigating shifting alliances, uncovering buried secrets, and watching your back at every turn. The question is not just whether you can help reclaim New York for the Camarilla, but whether you can survive long enough to see what comes next.. Will you rise through the ranks of the newly established court? Will you seek out the rumoured artifacts of the six great clans and uncover their secrets? Or will you focus on rooting out the remnants of the Sabbat or worse, the ancient forces lurking in the shadows? Or will you be the next reason the Domain has to come together to fight? A City of Intrigue: Political manoeuvring, tense alliances, and backstabbing are just the beginning. Dark Mysteries: Ancient artifacts, shadowy threats, and apocalyptic whispers await those brave enough to seek the truth. Player Freedom: Your choices will shape New York's future forge alliances, betray your rivals, or become a power in your own right. All Camarilla city positions are open for players to run. Including Prince. Trailer Movie: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17vlgzs0Wwlwg9oO8TOjs8ZXZBVaLk4aK/view?usp=sharing invitation link: https://discord.gg/2HgE7q9ED9

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The Lorekeeper is responsible for controlling the influence of Fate within the Realms that reside within the Books of Lore within the Archive of Finality. However, recently he has been pushing Fate heavily in favor of the villains.. Recently, he did this with 5 Books of Lore and despite him staying within the parameters of his job, the heroes still rose triumphant.. So the Lore Guardian sent those books to the Annals of Ancients. Rather than take them there, the Lorekeeper took them to the Forbidden Chamber. He then infused the Realms within the maximum possible Fate Skewing far beyond acceptable parameters.. The resulting chaos caused the 5 worlds of FF6, FF7, FF9, FF10, and FFTA (Tactics Advanced) to fuse together and many of the heroes of those worlds were killed in the resulting chaos prior to the worlds fusing together.. 20 Years have passed since this event and survivors from the Heroes have banded together to form a Resistance. Led by Wakka and Lulu from FF10, naming the group The Farthest Sun (Spira's sun is the furthest from the planet that has 5 suns and 6 moons with a 32hr day/night cycle.). You are a new recruit has joined The Farthest Sun and is about to receive their starter gear and be given their first mission.. When something strange occurs.. Will you and your chosen allies be able to turn the tide of Fate? Despite it being so heavily skewed? Join me and find out brave warrior!

5e14, Mini Campaign ~~~~~~~~ In a room lined with instruments of torture, and arcane devices meant to mutate and modify the material form, you find yourself awaking. How long has it been since your eyes last opened, since you last felt the damp, stale air enter into your lungs? Your memories as a whole are fragmented, recalled piecemeal as your hazy vision scans around the room. Voices. The sounds of footsteps echo aside them from somewhere beyond your heavy gaze. Your form is numb, each bone and every muscle laden with the memory of a thousand trials your mind refuses to conjure. There is a heavy thud as the footsteps stop, the voices hush, leaving you alone in the silence for but a moment. You feel yourself lowered to the ground by some unseen hand, and as you feel yourself slump against the ground, you manage a meager tilt of your head in the direction of the sound. The door to your prison stands open. And for the first time, you recognize the soft sound of the labored breathing of several others around you. Another test, perhaps. But as the heavy stone wall sways towards you, beckoning you to muster the strength to rise up and grasp this opportunity… you hear a voice. “Run free, my friends.” Familiarity stirs, though you find yourself unable to put a face or name to the sound as their footsteps trail off. As you reach for them in your weakened state, the sound of an alarm blares around you. Truly, be it test or truth, this may be your only chance. Remember who you are, recall the tests your flesh has endured, and escape with your life intact. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm a DM of 7 years and currently searching for a group of players to run a miniature campaign with. The world is homebrewed, but takes a lot of inspiration from Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter, and a few other sources. The game is looking to run each week on Mondays at 6pm. We will be using a bit of homebrew as well, specifically the main document from r/FFXIVxDnD as well as a version of the Blue Mage that I've altered. This mini campaign will see you starting out at level 6, potentially leveling up to 7 through its events over the course of 12-14 weeks with intentions to run several other miniature campaigns using the same or different characters over the course of the next year. We will be using Roll20 for the VTT, and Discord for Voice - no video required. If you're interested, leave a comment with your discord handle or dm me any questions you have and I'll answer them when I'm able to.

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Hello I am looking to DM a group in a Pathfinder 1e game. I am open to any and everyone who would like to play, I am newbie friendly. the 1 player I currently have is planning on playing a paladin with the Sword of the arcane order feat. My plan is to start at lvl 3, and I also am allowing content from 3.5 in the game too, for hit dice the minimum is half the dice max +1 each level, along with that I also do not allow the alignments LE, NE, CE, and CN unless it is a villains campaign. I am fairly laid back and flexible so I am going to do a Golarion Sandbox setting. I will also say that I do also allow my players to draw things from 3.5 as well like prestige classes, feats, and spells for example. please message me on discord as that is where I am most active. I am thinking saturday nights EST for time.

Looking for a fun DnD group!

Hiya! Me (Xander) and 2 of my friends are looking for a DM and maybe other players. We dont want the group to be too big. We all speak both Dutch and English. We're 18 to 19 years old. I've played dnd before, my friends are new. We all love the usual fantasy setting, medieval fantasy etc etc. Big on world building and character creation. I personally love the characters I make for dnd so I prefer a character focused campaign! Were all a bit socially awkward but if everything's fine and we get along it will turn out great! Please absolutely no use of generative-AI in the campaign.

Adventuring guild

Combat focused
Fights, tactics and initiative take up most of the table time.
[2 PM EST] [5e 2014] I tried finding a DM and players for a game but got only player requests really, so after talking to my friend decided to try to DM myself and then he do it after. Possibly once others play/join they would want to DM to give everyone in the group a chance to play, building a solid group of people that just want to have fun playing DND. Looking for 4 players for Wednesday 2 PM EST, have to been well spoken in English and have a good microphone. Our plan on starting out is a simple game with taking quests from a quest board or adventuring guild going out killing things and getting loot. The game will be tough, PC's may die if the dice decide so bring a back in mind that will be picked up when the group goes back to the guild for payment. I do not plan on having a overarching "the world is ending" plot, so no 10 page backstory is need for your character just a real reason for them wanting to become an adventuring guild member. Game level 1-5. NO SEXUAL CONTENT -  RESPECT OTHER PLAYERS Roll20 - discord Shoot me a message with character ideas or any questions you have. Thanks!

PANTHEON. Play as D&D gods.

Homebrew

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
PANTHEON.  “Play as the gods. Kill the Titans. shape the world.” “Then play as mortals in the world you created” Game details I'm Looking to DM a campaign where you start as gods at level one, forming into existence And killing the titans. When you're on the scale of Titans and other gods, you're just like a level 1 character. But when you interact with the material plane, you are literally a god. A high athletic check shatters a mountain. A Mold Earth cantrip can repair it. A spell like "Create water" can flood a city. You and your fellow gods create the world and will face conflicts as you create your peoples. And then, by the conclusion of that Mini campaign. we will be ready to play in a world that you understand the lore of on a very deep level because you created it. Every major city you will have created. All the Ancestry you also would have created. Your regular weapons and tools from the mini campaign will be the legendary artifacts of that world. Because of this, both campaigns will be incredibly character-driven. and require a lot of collaborative World-building. Though there will be prompts to help you. About The DM: I'm a young person living in Sydney Australia, who's just started going to TAFE for film. I love all different types of TTRPGs, and have been listening to TTRPG podcasts since I was 11. Understandably, because of this it's what I want to do forever. My favourites are Worlds Beyond Number, Knight's Quest and Dungeons and Daddies, and recently Critical Role c4. Though I know my time zone (AEDT=GMT+11) isn't the best for other countries, they are still more than welcome to join. My games are a safe space for all types of people.  Especially people with ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia, Indigenous people, and members in the LGBTQIA+ Community. :) Campaign(s) The Pantheon campaign Length: Mini-campaign. Schedule: Weekly Sunday (I'm open to Tuesday) 7pm to 10:30pm. Player Age: 17+ Players: 3-4 Platforms: Discord (Voice call and whiteboard.) D&D Beyond, Google Docs, Theatre of the Mind. System: D&D 5e Experience: Complete new players to Experienced DMs all are welcome and I'm willing to teach. Levels: Level 1 to Level 3 (Won't be described like you are, though.) Playstyle: Heavily focus on the rule of cool As the characters are God's. When people cast spells, they will do a lot more than what it says in the description if they are interacting with the material plane. This is the same for general actions. There'll be a lot of player good input practice if you want to try becoming a DM. Tone: Mythology, Creation stories, Wars between gods and titans. At least partially serious characters only. Joke characters, especially at this part of the story, will ruin the world because what your gods are like determines the tone of the world. The Mortals campaign Length: Average campaign Schedule: Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10:30pm. Levels: Level 3+ Playstyle: A way more traditional D&D game where you play in the world you created. The plot will probably be determined by your previous actions as gods. And how they affected the mortals down below. Tone: Any fantasy story about living in the wake of some sort of ancient time where the gods were more present in the world. We of create the tone based on what happens in the first campaign. Policy: Absolutely no bigotry in any form. There are no second chances for harassment. That includes homophobia, transphobia, Racism, Ableism and sexism and anything that Violates a boundary for a fellow player. Safety measures: we will use lines and veils at the session zero. you also can private message me if you wanna walk out at any time. As well as a bunch of other safety methods plus anything you want to add to the group. If you want to know if your time zone fits, use this. https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ Comment or DM me if you are interested or have any questions?.

Chronicles of Endless - Endless Space x 5e 2024

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
We’re a friendly group looking for either a DM or an extra player (if one of us becomes DM). We’ve played three sessions, covering only the prologue, so it’s easy to jump in. Current party: - Wizard - Cleric - Ranger - Barbarian (potential DM) The campaign uses a homebrew setting inspired by Endless Space 2 (https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/bU-W7F0a3) slightly twicked to work with 2024 rules. The game focuses on a roleplay-heavy balance, with a healthy amount of combat. A new DM would have full creative freedom, as no major plot threads or notes were left behind by the previous DM. Setting overview: The Endless Universe takes place in a galaxy shaped by the fall of the Endless, an ancient civilization destroyed by the Dust Wars. Central to the setting is Dust, a powerful and dangerous substance that can transform rare survivors into Heroes. These Heroes are trained and deployed by the Academy, a neutral organization that influences galactic politics from the shadows. Current status: New recruits (the party) just finished their first mission capturing pirates and were about to start their training montage. Session time will be decided once the final member is found. Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
I'm Bronze, and i'm currently looking for a Group to play in. I would be simoultaniously Dm if no one shows up. Contact me here or on Discord if you want to be player or Dm, i check both regularly. I'm mainly looking for a world with a Roleplay-Combat-Survival/Travel Ratio of 50-40-10 in a Large, not Main quest bound open world. I'd be open for other ratios or worlds though, only prerequisite is the usage of only High fantasy. I'm okay with Homebrew and world crossing for players and Dm, But please do it subtly and close to actual 5e. Contact me if you're interested! -Discord Account required -Any Age accepted -Fluid English would be nice -Make your Character before first Meeting -No payments whatsoever. If you need to buy something pay it yourself. I'm not here just to find some greedy Dm with no passion. -Every Saturday, about 15:00-18:00. -We'd start as soon as at least three players are in the Group. Until then, please be patient. -Ask questions! Asking is free after all.

Echoes of the Witherwild

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello! My name is Evelyn! I am 35 and a new GM looking to run a Witherwild Campaign! I have DMd a few DnD one-shots, and a short DnD Adventure. I have been played in several DnD campaigns and one Vampire The Masquerade camapaign, as well as a Daggerheart one-shot! Overall, I have been playing for just over two years, both in-person and online. I am the type of DM who likes to follow the rules as written the majority of the time, but I will bend or overlook some things if the narrative result would be improved by doing so! To me, the story comes first. I will also forgo looking up rules to preserve the flow of the game, choosing instead to clarify the rule after the session for future reference, unless the outcome would be impactful to the story. I am looking for players who are willing and excited to build a story together. Daggerheart, at its core, is a collaborative story-telling tool and I would like to dive into that as much as possible, working together to tell the best story we can! As I am an inexperienced DM (for now!), I am happy to take both experienced and inexperienced players! Players should be 18+. Campaign Overview Fanewick was once a place of great abundance and peace—dangerous to those unfamiliar with the land, but a cornucopia to those who respected its ways. When Haven invaded the wilds and forced the land into eternal spring, a dangerous bloom known as The Witherwild took hold and now threatens the lives of all who live there. In a Witherwild campaign, you willl play unlikely heroes from humble beginnings who are reckoning with their newfound duty to save Fanewicks people from dangerous corruption. Tone and Feel Adventurous, Dynamic, Epic, Heroic, Thrilling, Uncanny, Whimsical Themes Cultural Clash, Ends Justify Means, Grief, People vs. Nature, Transformation and Change, Survival Touchstones Princess Mononoke, The Legend of Zelda, The Dark Crystal, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind What to Expect A free adventure. Weekly games @ Sunday 6-10pm GMT starting 8th March. Session 0 and a 0.5 prologue. 10-16 sessions. Character driven story with consequence. A rich world that will grow as we play! Requirements A Discord account with a working microphone. A Demiplane account for character sheets. A roll20 account for gameplay.

5E Sci-Fi Revisionist History Time Travel Campaign

This game is free.  It’s the year 2177, and Earth stands on the brink of collapse. The air is poisoned, the seas are rising, and humanity’s future hangs by a thread. You and your team are agents of Project Tempus—an elite group tasked with traveling through time to prevent the mistakes of history from destroying the world. From ancient civilizations to the distant future, every mission will challenge your wits, your morals, and your ability to survive in unfamiliar worlds. Tempus is a story-driven RPG for players who crave high-stakes adventures set against real, pivotal moments in history. One mission may take you beneath the Great Pyramids as ancient secrets stir, another to the burning of the Library of Alexandria, where knowledge hangs on the brink of oblivion. You might infiltrate the heart of the Nazi regime or navigate the moral crossroads of the Manhattan Project as the future of the world is forged. Along the way, you’ll encounter legendary figures, stand at history’s turning points, and decide whether to preserve the timeline… or rewrite it entirely. Whether you’re a seasoned tabletop gamer or brand new to RPGs, Tempus is built for cooperative storytelling and imaginative problem-solving. Combat is only one tool in your arsenal—clever diplomacy, cunning deception, and creative thinking can be just as powerful. The fate of Earth is in your hands. Will you save it, or watch it fade into the ashes of time? This setting and its accompanying modules are currently in development for a reputable gaming company.

I plan on streaming with the potential for channel point rewards to affect the game in some way, we'll discuss so it is not too intrusive. Mostly looking for someone chill.

Looking to put together a group that rotates GMs and switches systems regularly. The goal is short arcs, low burnout, and trying cool games instead of locking into one campaign forever. I’m looking to play Tuesday evenings EST. Systems I’m interested in running include: Shadowdark Scum & Villainy Monster of the Week Dungeon World Mothership Dungeon Crawl Classics Low Fantasy Gaming (1e) Ideally everyone’s open to both running and playing at different points, but no pressure to GM immediately. New systems, experimentation, and keeping things fun matter more than system mastery.

Urban Shadows

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
Recruitment Post: Urban Shadows in a Gritty, Divided Chicago Looking for a 4th(maybe a 5th aswell) Player for Urban Shadows - Political Horror in a Supernatural Chicago (we had someone dropout last minute due to a schedualing conflict, so we'll be doing a short session 0.1 hopefully this Thursday) Game: Urban Shadows 2nd Edition (Powered by the Apocalypse). Schedule: Weekly or Bi-Weekly, Thursdays 6-7 PM PST start time. Platform: Discord for voice, with optional support from Roll20. Materials: All core books and supplements provided via Google Drive. Tone: Street-level, morally complex political horror. Think the factional intrigue of The Wire meets the supernatural grit of The Dresden Files. This game explores hard compromises and characters with significant flaws. Players should be comfortable with dark themes and interpersonal tension. The Pitch: The Chicago Accords are rotting from the inside. The ancient treaties that keep the vampire courts, fae gentry, infernal powers, and mortal institutions from open war are strained to breaking point. Power vacuums form, whispers of spiritual corruption grow louder, and every faction is making a move in the shadows. You will play a flawed operator in this landscape, bound by Debts and desperate needs, trying to survive a city that consumes the weak. Current Characters Danny Deval, The Imp (Wild)     A shrewd and amoral supernatural artifact dealer. His establishment is a front for a thriving interdimensional trade in dangerous, exotic goods. He's always looking for the next big score to stay ahead of his creditors and the powerful & ambitious vampire lord of the White Court, Yakov Pritzker, who seeks to re-enslave his entire family. Isaiah Toomes, The Hunter (Mortalis)     An ex-cop turned dedicated demon hunter, hardened by the betrayal and traumatic death of his infernal-corrupted partner. His mission is now fueled by a zealous, specific prejudice against demons and infernal bloodlines, which he views as a corrupting plague to be purged. He's a workaholic struggling to protect the city while his family life crumbles. Coven, The Spectre (Night)     A merged entity of two spirits: a vengeful dead prophet and a tragically killed student. This unstable detective exists between worlds, investigating supernatural disturbances and fighting to protect the people and places that still tether them to the living. The City Awaits Your character will be integrated into the story from the first session, with established Debts tying you into our web of dangerous relationships. You'll enter a city where major factions—like the political White Court vampires, the ancient Fae, various demonic powers, the infernal Chicago Outfit, the mortal enforcers of The Old Standard, and the secretive holy order of The Covenant of Thornes — are all active players. There is room to build new factions together as your character helps sculpt the city's landscape.     How to Apply: Please send me a DM with:     Your experience with TTRPGs, particularly narrative games (PbtA, FitD, etc.).     A your assurance that you are on board with a darker, morally complex tone & intercharacter conflict.     I'm not interested in lone wolves even our Hunter has familial ties to the city. I want characters to feel like they beloved to the world, have stakes in it's survival & looking to effect some sort of change upon it.     Your confirmation that the Thursday 6-7 PM PST schedule works for you & comittement to a short session 0.1 (we already had a session 0 before someone dropped out due to a schedualing conflict) We're looking for a player committed to collaborative, character-driven storytelling in a tense and unforgiving world.

The table is for players who are 18 or over.
!!! ONE PLAYER STILL NEEDED AS OF 1/27 𖤝 Shadows of the High-Sun | A Faerun Mini-Campaign 𖤝 ‘To all who seek glory, and to those whose dreams reach further than the stars, hark! Raise banner and blade, sword and sorcery alike and witness the rebirth of the High-Sun Games!’ Along the northern border of Faerûn’s Sword Coast, a new era dawns for the citizens of Neverwinter as after centuries of waiting, the High-Sun games raises its radiant banner from the ashes, calling Adventurers to glory once again. You are five adventurers, called forth to the promise of glory from the game’s decree. Whether down on your luck, seeking a way out, hoping to make a name as a champion, or striving to renew the glory of Neverwinter evermore, you throw in your lot to face the challenges and perils of the infamous contest. As you and your cohort battle your way through wit, wile, and unsuspecting foes, the only thing standing between you and victory is your own strength of heart, and willingness to overcome any challenge which dare lies before you… 𖤝 System: 5e (2014 Ruleset) 𖤝 Day/Time: Mondays @ 3:00pm CST | Session 0 within next 2 weeks 𖤝 Needed: D&DBeyond account, Discord voice, decent mic, ability to be on time & a good party member 𖤝 Ages: 18+ ONLY!! I don’t DM for minors 𖤝 Tabletop: D&DBeyond maps 𖤝 Starting Level/Campaign Length: 6th Level, Approx. 10 Sessions 𖤝 How to Apply: Send me a DM on Discord @ beelzeblurp, respond to this thread below, or send me a DM here with a quick hello, and the following questions/info answered: Please answer the following if you want to apply! - Your experience w/ DnD. - What you like most about ttrpgs/campaigns. - How do you handle conflict at the table, and what makes a session go from good to great for you? - Are you interested in a longer campaign after the mini-campaign, if you like the group? - Do you have any needs as a player that must be accommodated (I.E., subject matter, table rules, etc.)? - Any questions for me as the DM? In addition, please give me a short pitch for a character story/class/subclass that would fit with a short-term 10-session long mini-campaign! While you can write any context or flavor that you would like, keep in mind that we won’t have the length of a time that a longer campaign will offer to explore tragic backstories, dead spouses, revenge for your honor, or the like! We will have some time for RP and interaction outside of pure combat, so a simpler backstory/ motivation for wanting to participate in this adventure may be more satisfying. Further detail can be hashed out during our group Session 0.

[Troika!] Enter the "Abstract Painting of TTRPGs"

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Troika! Is the "Abstract Painting of TTRPGs"  It's Role play heavy and has a, interpretive and collaborative world-building style. (Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10pm latest 11pm) [Relatively long form] System: [Troika!] System details - “A game where players will travel by eldritch portal and non-euclidean labyrinth and golden - sailed barge between the uncountable crystal spheres and Demi-plane strung delicately across the hump-backed sky.” (If that didn't make sense to you, it's because it doesn't. We have to make sense out of it together, and then that's how we create the world of Troika! ) System complexity - Easy System mechanics: The system uses the D6 or 2d6 for practically all roles and has a cool mechanic, where sometimes you need to roll low and sometimes you need to roll high. Practically every type of role you will do can be summarised on a cheat sheet small enough to be part of a character sheet. So if you understand DND or any other more complicated system, you'll be fine with this. System intention: the system allows you to interpret your character in a way that makes it your own. I will then take the feedback from how you created that character and then shape the world to reflect that character then allow you to shape large parts of it. Because of this it is very player input heavy and very role-play heavy. There is also quite a bit of combat that aims to be unique and socially orientated as well as a chaotic and unpredictable magic system that can lead to disastrous and hilarious consequences. The system encourages the creative use of skills in both combat and social encounters turning problems into a combination between a puzzle and a poem. Don't be afraid by the verboseness of some of the descriptions. They're just trying to get you to look up words so you can pick which of the definitions you think applies to the moment, thus making the world more of your creation based on your interpretation. System alterations: I will alter parts about the system to make it slightly less deadly. that includes using optional rules that they present in  the rulebook and some of that includes child proofing some of the crazier rules. Though keep in mind Death is a very normal thing in the game that is expected to happen and in fact encouraged because there isn't too much upward mobility for the backgrounds and it's actively fun to make a new character. Speaking of backgrounds, I will encourage you to randomly roll one but I may allow you to re-roll multiple times if you hate the one you get it first. I'd be thrilled if anyone would want to make their own background. There are explicit rules in the game for making them and as long as you don't make anything broken I'll probably will accept it if it's interesting. In fact they explicitly tell you not to worry about balancing because as long as every background feels fun to play, you'll be right. [you don't really have to read all that.] Game details Player Age: 18 ~~ Platforms: Discord (Voice call, dice rolling and content sharing), Google Docs, Online character sheets, Theatre of the Mind. Players: 3-5 Schedule: Weekly Sunday 7pm to 10pm latest 11pm  [Relatively long form] Genre: Blurs the lines between sci-fi and fantasy And then chops it all up with a knife until it looks like a Picasso painting. Very absurdist. Contains multitudes. Tone: it will likely be light-hearted, it could be deep and emotional. It all depends on what we bring into it.  It will undoubtedly be weird. So weird that because it doesn't stop being weird, and our minds are creative in a way that makes sense of weird things, it won't seem like that all the time. A tonal reference would be Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Crossed with The Little Prince, Dr. Seuss, Adventure time, Monty Python and the quest for the Holy Grail, Stephen universe, And I guess the Lord of the rings…. But as in the Ralph Bakshi adaptation….and most of all very specifically the Ralph Bakshi movie “Wizards”.  What I bring: Editable character sheets online. Plus the Troika rulebook PDF and a bunch of pamphlet modules for the future. Everything I have though is available online. You don't have to join to get it. So you can look at it ahead of time. I would encourage reading the rules. About me: I live in Sydney Australia. I love all different types of TTRPGs, and have been listening to TTRPG podcasts since I was 11. Understandably, because of this it's what I want to do Forever. My favourites our Worlds Beyond Number, Knight's Quest and Dungeons and Daddies, and recently Critical Role c4. Though I know my time zone isn't the best for other countries they are still more than welcome to join. My games are a safe space for all types of people.  Especially people with ADHD, dyslexia or dyspraxia, Indigenous people, and members in or adjacent to the LGBTQIA+ Community. :) Absolutely no bigotry in any form. There are no second chances for harassment. Safety measures: we will use lines and vails at the session zero. you also can private message to me if you wanna walk out at any time. As well as a bunch of other safety methods plus anything you want to add to the group. If we're going to do a session this Sunday, it's going to be character creation / World building / session 0. Next Sunday will the beginning of the game though. DM me if you have any questions or are interested.

NYC DND filmed series

Looking for people to join a party that will play at my midtown Manhattan studio. We will film this for online distribution, perhaps livestream. I have all the equipment but need a DM and people to join the party. People with a flair for dramatic to set design would be fun too. Also will probably leave one chair empty each week to get a semi famous person to join the party, so we need to be patient with someone who probably doesn’t know how to play. No money involved but if we find ourselves in an opportunity to make money, we will split it fairly. Happy to discuss paperwork prior to going to far. In person only please.

[Offline] [5e 2014] [8pm - 11pm] @ ShortRestTavern

Hello, I'm trying to get back into in-person DMing after moving to Tucson in June. Prior to that, I ran online for a group for about 4 years. I'm hoping to run a one- or two-session adventure for 2nd level characters. We'll meet at the Short Rest Tavern in Tucson Mall on a Thursday evening or two from 8pm - 11pm. I don't have grandiose plans for this adventure--something classic with a mix of combat and non-combat challenges. I'll probably prep some character sheets, but you'd be welcome to roll your own character using official materials (but nothing from the 2024 iteration). If you're interested in joining, please message me! Both new and experienced players welcome. Thanks!

NUCLEARNODEBREAK

"NUCLEARNODEBREAK is NOT a campaign" - Evil campaign corroborator 2025 Before we can start talking about the campaign, be aware this campaign is: HOMEBREW, and HIGHLY experimental; be mindful Around 200 years ago, a massacre, a siege, that day: within the sky, within the whistle of the clouds, a stray flock of airplanes hit 3 nuclear power stations, powered by nuclear nodes that by that time was "new technology." the patents got burnt too and all was lost. due to this strike to those nuclear power plants they had to seal a 4th of the world in a magic dome, which allowed little to no entry and isolated the wasteland from the world. the echoes of this incident crawled to almost everyone's ears, and became a big cultural thing. as time went on, civilization advanced, and nowadays its a very different world, a modern world, and with the new, better news of the wasteland, the government decided to let people get into the wasteland, by signing a contract, you can get inside: cleanse the wasteland, and you'll be rewarded with money, land or even more. they spread posters, newspapers and even on local news. and now's your chance. this campaign uses, a whole lot of homebrew, and there are no classes, you start with 2 traits (perks, abilities, etc.) and then you get more traits as you progress, which you can also homebrew yourself. if you do wanna join, send me a friend request (flan4pans), and when you do, I'd thank you if you'd tell me when you're available so that I can test your might, just a quick thing I do for my players. Hope I see ya!

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello hello my name is JJ, I'm 21, pronouns are they/them, and this is my first time posting on Reddit so sorry in advance if the formatting is wonky or if I did anything incorrectly. Sessions will be weekly at 5:30 pm MST Fridays. I would also be open to starting at 6pm if that would work better.  I'm looking for 4-6 players of fellow lgbtq+ folk ages 18 - 28. Any experience is welcome! After a long-term campaign coming to an end and a bit of DM burnout, I'm looking to do another campaign to remind myself what it's all about. I have been a dm since July 2021 and have had a campaign going for almost the entirety of those 4 and half years (hence the burnout).   The length of this campaign will be determined by player interest. And basically I want a campaign where the plot is mostly serious but the process and some quest bits are fun. This campaign will have a roleplay and exploration focus (of course a decent bit of combat this is dnd after all).  We will use discord for voice and roll20 for maps. So please make sure you are able to use both of those (at the same time preferably).  Campaign description:  Long ago, so long that most of history has forgotten it, *something* happened that caused the world to restart. The world rebuilt as if nothing happened, no tales, no stories remain just the knowledge that at some time, at some point, something occurred.  This would be something that would never cross the mind of the average person. Only the most devout of researchers think of this 'something' but even then they have almost nothing on this something. But then, during the beginning of the new year where suddenly, as if something was found or maybe something broke free, across the world prophets popped up all saying the same thing: "What was once forgotten shall return, O dear heroes hear my plea-" And after the word plea fell from their lips all prophets immediately passed out on the spot. When asked about it afterwards, they all could not remember the prophecy or fainting. Just a vague feeling of something entering their minds for a brief moment.  And in response to this new prophecy nations have started to steadily build armies, churches are suddenly recruiting more, and where you all come in, more people than ever have turned to adventuring. With the prophecy came dungeons. Popping up from nothing and holding glimpses to the past. Of course anyone with any interest in history is willing to pay a pretty piece for these hints to whatever that 'something' was.  Maybe you're a newfound prophet, maybe you are someone who was researching the past, maybe this was the final push to become an adventurer, maybe you're someone trying to take advantage of the chaos, maybe this has been your plan for a while and the prophecy is just a coincidence. But regardless of all that, join this world to find out secrets from the past and what they mean for the future of the realm. If all the sounds like a good fit for you here is the link to my application form:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScu6QryFgHDZjgDzmhdReCa7-BbUo26vvjfV-DrzTg6EUVRyw/viewform?usp=header As I do not know how many applicants I will get I cannot give an exact time for when the form will close. But if I think you are a good fit for my campaign, I will probably r each out within a day or so.

Looking for 1 player to join 2 other active players.  Riftbreakers 2E is a fantasy roleplaying tabletop game made by Blackoath Entertainment! You take control of a single character and embark on all sorts of adventures, undertaking challenges that will see you traveling the land of Kaethor, which is being besieged by strange magic storms that unleash terrible monsters in their wake through rifts. Think of Solo Leveling , Log Horizon, Sword Art Online, Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash mixed with an MMO card game system. This is an open world sandbox campaign with randomly generated loot, quests/encounters, detailed crafting, dungeons (in the form of Rifts), and meaningful character progression. It is a D100 system where you have to roll equal to or below a threshold. There's also a classless character creation system, with progress built around what you focus on learning and what gear you equip. Want to be a deadly warrior, a cunning thief, or a master of the elements? Or maybe all three?? It’s up to you! As a player in the campaign, you will have access to the PDF (to view only - not downloadable) to get yourself familiar with the system and setting. //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// So if you're interested, please see below information of the game! Pacta corvina

In the floating duchy of Fahaly, only one order stands between stability and anarchy, bringing law and justice even to the darkest alleys. These are strangely calm times in a chaotic city, and you have just entered the order. Nothing seems to be happening, except for a considerable decrease in beggars in the rust district, who are disappearing without a trace, as if they had never existed. Hi everyone, good morning! My name is Lucas, I'm from Brazil, and I'm looking for a group to play D&D and improve my English. I'm almost completely blind, so my games focus a lot on theater of the mind and little on maps, but I promise a great story and character acting. We will play weekly on Mondays at 6 PM, with a minimum of three hours of gameplay. I welcome all players. GMT -3

A New Republic’s New heroes

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Thirty years ago, the second Death Star was destroyed, giving way for the formation of the New Republic. Duro, a world surrounded by orbital shipyards and ruled by corporate interests, now sits in the middle of the cold war between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic. You are sent to provide support to an ambassador who seeks to find a peaceful resolution to the occupation. The chances of success are slim, but your characters soon find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy involving the formation of a new Dark Side religion. Are you a Jedi, bright eyed and ready to take on the world? A scoundrel, ready for an easy paycheck only to be forced into the role of a hero? Are you a droid, capable of feats of excellence beyond organic capabilities? The galaxy is full of possibilities for you to make your mark on the world! This game is meant to be an introduction to Star Wars Saga edition (with a few house rules to help an older system feel more modern). No prior experience with the system is necessary, though a love of Star Wars is appreciated. This takes place in a modified Legends Continuity to allow for players to be members of the New Republic and Luke’s new Jedi Order. Important Star Wars events and canon characters will NOT be the focus. This is a game about adventure, character growth, and story opportunities, not lore and living in someone else’s shadow. Players will begin play at level 1, but quickly level past that. The main reason for such a low level start is to help players learn the system. Saga Edition resembles D&D 3rd edition in many ways, with updates to make it more functional. PCs are not likely to be equally capable in combat, but the system’s focus is less focused on war gamey aspects than D&D and Pathfinder. A character who thrives in diplomacy and skill will find themselves an invaluable member of the party as healing is slow, difficult, and costly. Saga edition is also perhaps the most multiclass friendly d20 type system, with house rules to make it even more so. There is a lot of information, but as patient Game Master (Or Star Master HAH) I am willing to spend time to individually help PCs build their characters. What I require from you is a passion for the game, a desire to make characters that are fun to run FOR and to roleplay with your fellow players, and a willingness to fit the setting and vibe. This is not a game for fully evil characters or sith (this game is PERFECT for former darksiders however!) When messaging me, I request that you send me some ideas about your character, information about yourself as a player, and some of your favorite things about star wars! Games are every Tuesday, 6pm to 10pm EST. May the Force be with you!

DnD Epic History: Looking for Expert History GMs

DnD history is looking for GMs with deep historical knowledge that can roleplay and improvise when the group goes off piste. So far we've done: The French Revolution The Russian Revolution Hernan Cortez Blackbeard and a couple of one shots where we picked up our historical figures. Knowledge of Dungeons and Dragons rules is the least important factor. Fun is more important than anything else. Will record and upload if it goes well. We have 3 time travelling factions: Protect the Timeline! (Lawful neutral) Save the World (Chaotic good) Control the Timeline! (Chaotic evil) but so far the details have been vague, as the time travelling PCs are mercenaries on a need to know basis. So pick an era of history you're knowlegeable about, and let's rock!

Critical Mass: Chain Reaction

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
While the tensions between the U.G.N. and The Golden Horde heighten, a party of adventurers are sent out to North Silica along the Black Silver River to uncover an ancient artifact that could change the tide of the coming war entirely. Critical Mass: Chain Reaction is a Weird Fiction / Fantasy Adventure campaign set in the homebrew setting of ATYMOS, using the D&D5.5e rules, along with custom homebrew backgrounds, species, and subclasses. The tone of this campaign is light-horror post-apocalyptic fantasy, weird fiction with a lot of geopoliticial set pieces. It will mostly follow average, everyday adventurers from the world trying to navigate it while dealing with people from various factions and nations. LGBTQIA+ characters are expected and normalized in this setting. Be prepared for strange encounters, dealing with cruel monsters, and encountering deadly NPCs and monsters. Not everything in this setting is meant to be fought, especially not by you.    REQUIREMENTS * Ability to play weekly on Wednesday, 5:30PM PST. * Access to a Discord account, and a browser. We will be using FoundryVTT as a virtual tabletop, and Discord to be able to call. * A baseline familiarity with the D&D 2024 Rules EXPECTATIONS * An interest in collaborative storytelling and roleplay * A willingness to work together with the other players and the DM * This is a 70/30 Roleplay campaign, we’ll be doing a lot of roleplaying and combat will be sparse but deadly. The main expectation is to be levelling up slowly, and facing few enemies, spending the majority of your time in roleplay and exploration encounters. To me, Exploration and Roleplay are the same. * Please try to be present for all sessions. Depending on how many players end up in the campaign (I’m looking for 3-4), we won’t have the wiggle room for characters to disappear for sessions at a time.  * I'm planning on having Session 0 on the 28th of January, starting at the regular time. * Show up without a character pre-made. This is a homebrew setting and a very specific group-goal, so I would like to work with you and the other players to create characters that work for this campaign. * While nothing is outright banned, please try and be mindful of the gameplay experience for other players, and yourself. If you try and build a character that can wipe out combat encounters in one turn but has nothing to do outside of combat, and everyone feels its unfun, expect to have a sit-down and discuss possible alternatives. * I will be experimenting with XP Leveling in this campaign, and have active discussions with players about how they feel about it. * If you have any questions about the setting or your character's place in it, I would love to have a 1 on 1 to discussion with you. * This is a given, but please be respectful to the other players. SETTING: The Setting of ATYMOS primaries takes place on the continent of Nostia, a gloomy and sodden land healing from the scars of an ancient war that ended the technological age. Cross-continental nations rise out of the ashes of the old world, and factions fight for control of pre-war resources and current day populations. Most will spend their lives living in small wooden towns, using scraps and whatever they can find to make the most out of their lives. Others are enthralled in geopolitics, working for or with various nations to help achieve larger goals or to make their way in the world. As the monsters of the Age of Heroes have adapted, so too will the citizens have to adapt, to survive in ATYMOS. You are all hired adventurers from the U.G.N., on a mission to retrieve a mysterious artifact from before the war. You will have to track it down, as the U.G.N. only know if it through whispered words and rumors, and deal with anyone else who has caught the sent of this mystery. The setting features all of the Core D&D Playable Species, along with two custom species, the Longdead and the Mechanoid.

ASL Dungeons and Dragons Group Needed

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
I'm taking an ASL class and need "real world practice" and thought that doing an all ASL game of D&D would be really fun! Looking for players and a DM, ideally more laid back and fun. Only interact if you know American Sign Language to some extent (so this is kind of restricted to US and Canada users). Even if you're a beginner, you could get some practice in with me!

[Online] [D&D 3.5] Looking for DM and players!

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Hey there! Thanks so much for checking out our post and thinking this campaign might be a good match for you—we really appreciate it. We're putting together a quick little questionnaire for anyone who's interested. It'll help us figure out who's the best fit for the group and make sure everyone vibes well together. We're excited to read your answers and hopefully welcome you aboard. A bit about what we're hoping for: We're after friendly, chill players who know the basics of D&D and are cool with speaking up if anything comes up—so we can sort it out fast and keep the game fun for everybody. Here's a quick rundown on the folks already interested: Stagnant (EST) Looking for a D&D 3.5 game that's roughly 50/50 roleplay and combat, with a big emphasis on exploration and adventure. Mostly free on Saturdays, but can do Fridays or some weekdays (just not Thursdays). Super reliable—only misses if life throws something unavoidable at them. New to 3.5 specifically but knows the fundamentals and is pumped to learn. Happy playing with both newbies and vets. Likes flexible rulings over super strict RAW. Thinking of starting with a straightforward Fighter. Totally fine with voice chat and online tools. Prefers 3–4 hour sessions but is open to going longer if we take breaks every couple hours. Jourton (PST) Searching for a long-term D&D 3.5e campaign. Available 6 PM+ on or near weekends (especially Saturdays) and 9 AM–4 PM on weekdays. Solid commitment—shows up unless something unavoidable pops up. Experienced with 3.5e and good with most players as long as they're not disruptive. Prefers sticking close to the books but is open to some reasonable flexibility. Really into gestalt multiclassing for richer stories and better combat options. (Quick note: if you're reading this carefully, slip the word "subtlefruit" into question 9 when I send the questionnaire.) Has 16 different characters ready to go for variety. Comfortable on voice, all resources online. Likes 2–3 hour sessions best but can stretch longer if needed. A couple characters are under 18, so a friendly, welcoming vibe is important. Not a fan of random bans on races/classes/features unless there's a solid in-world reason. Best overlapping times to kick things off: Weekdays: 1–4 PM EST Saturdays: 9 PM+ EST Quick summary: EST + PST crew, blend of new and experienced players. 50/50 RP/combat with lots of exploration. Flexible rulings (generally book-accurate), gestalt encouraged. Voice chat ready, multiple characters, long-term vibes. Hoping for a fun, respectful table where everyone can just enjoy the game. Let me know if you're still interested and I'll shoot you the questionnaire. Can't wait to hear from you. 🎲

Elder Scrolls: Getting Sidetracked Using the UESTRPG Delvebound System for 5e During one of the great events in either 3 major games a band of ragtags are somewhere completely different on the map, they will be faced with the dangers present during these calamities and will be hearing about the main story as it goes on but they will always miss whenever THE PLAYER is around. they will see the destruction lain within their path and may even have to pick up the pieces. these won't just include the vanilla games, there will be some deep lore thrown in there (as much as the party wants, that is). whichever game it will take place in will be voted upon by the players.  I do expect this to be a fairily long campaign and im a very roleplay heavy dm with of course some moments of silly. Looking to run this with about 4 or 5 players at 3rd level (sorry) at 5pm Pst Saturday

Warhammer Fantasy 4th Edition. Looking for GM

Me and a friend have recently gotten into Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but we don't have a GM for it. We're both decently knowledgeable on the setting, just new to the rules, someone more confident about that would be preferred. Other than that, we aren't picky. We are both already in a few other ttrpg games, so scheduling isn't super open, but most weekdays other than thursday and friday are an option. If you have a campaign concept, or a prewritten adventure you'd want to run, feel free to mention that in your reply. Also probably contact me on Discord, I'll see that first.

Final Fantasy: The Lorekeeper

I am running a FFd20 (Based on Pathfinder with a few homebrew rules to make it more 3.5 like) Campaign. The campaign setting is essentially a fusion world of the worlds of FF 10, 9, 7, 6 and FF Tactics Advanced (uses the canon map as opposed to a custom layout). The game takes place in a tweaked version of the game worlds where an outsider being has overtuned the power of and over informed the villains of the MCs actions/locations. This results in the majority of the cast of those games dying. 20 years later, the survivors of those games have unified into a resistance group known as The Farthest Sun (Led by FFX characters as Spira's sun is the furthest from the planet). As a newly trained member of this group you are heading to your graduation when your fellow players meet up in the previously discussed location and something strange occurs. I'm allowing NEARLY any class from the FFD20 website, but some may be race locked or unavailable if they do not fit the setting of the 5 games that this campaign is based around.. I do have an option to allow races/classes from FF14 if one of those interest you... I am seeking 1 player, but I would be open to 2 should heavy interest be shown. Timeframe is flexible (11A MST being the earliest and 8PM being the latest the session could run) and the day is Saturday. Lemme know if interested.

Hello, I am looking for one player to add to our campaign. We currently have three players. Everyone is new to DND, so I would like to add someone who has little or even no experience with DND. It would be my first time DMing, and this will be a homebrew campaign. You can use the forgotten reams as a reference when making a charater but please let me know if you are interested.

What's the story and world that YOU want play? Hi, I'm an easy going GM with background in DMing DnD, Fate, Custom and Home-brew systems. I love creative and narrative freedom from both the players and the GM to build the most epic, but more importantly, fun story we all want to tell. We can and will explore anything from classic Medieval High Fantasy to Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Gunfighting settings. I have some preferred stories and written campaigns, but I believe I do my best work when players have suggestions and ideas for the type of world that they want to play in. To live in. If you want to play a Bureaucratic Battle Mage who uses paperwork to cast spells and bog their enemies, a Gun slinging 7 eyed giant with tiny hands, a talking piano that can only be moved by other party members pushing them, then you've found your GM. All that to say, if thees a character you want to play, we can make it happen. My disclaimer is that this does put a lot of trust in your GM (me) to keep things balanced and fun without a fully fleshed out system such as 5e to keep players and actions in check. I'm biased when I say this, but I think I do a good job. There is no cost of playing in my group/game! Discord would be the prefered method of communication. If everyone already owns a copy we could use Table Top Sim on Steam or a free web based option like Roll20. Not picky. Says weekly but am open to less frequently. Whatever works for the group! Anyway, look forward to hearing from you players!
