Whatever the job was, it is done and the pay is in your pocket. Now you are riding back into Miquera, the little town in the Caradondo mountain pass. One main street, a saloon, a general store, an old stone church. You can see the smoke long before you reach it. The ground is shaking. Stones are coming down off the peaks. The church spire is leaning, the saloon is burning, and people you have known your whole life are running in the street with buckets that are not going to be enough. Old Jess out by the claim always said the veins were the bones of something sleeping. She said the old gods left their titans in the ground, and that men who dig deep enough will one day dig too deep. Nobody ever paid her much mind. They will now. Expectations & Requirements Player Knowledge: You should have a general understanding of how the basic Daggerheart rules work.
