I'm Izzy. 28. They/it.  I have over 10 years of experience in the tabletop space. On/off over the years with playing as finding groups that stay together takes time.  I have played in 2 completed 5e dnd campaigns that lasted over 2 years separately. Rime of the Frostmaiden & a homebrew Strahd campaign.  I will happily play in 5e & 5.5e games, though I have had an increased interest in p2fe/p2fre!  Tabletop games i have liked and played, would play again: 5e, pf2e, Vampire the Masquerade, Monster of the Week, Monsterhearts, Wanderhome, Call of Cthulhu  Tabletops I have not played but would be interested in: Blades in the Dark, Scum and Villainy, other Powered by the Apocalypse games or Forged in the Dark games, pf1e, Werewolf the Apocalypse, other World of Darkness games, Cyberpunk Red, etc etc My main goal as a player is to be a group player, to be someone that is wholly on the team with the other players! I love the collaborative nature of tabletop most, and why I always hold myself to be flexible and prioritize everyone's enjoyment and keep the table flowing! My characrer ideas are always many, but playing a characrer to the T is not a priority in the sense; that if it disrupts the flow and story of the table or conflicts wirh the group? Then I scrap that idea or develop the character different to mesh better!

Let’s go on an adventure together! I'm looking for a free, cooperative, consent-based, story-focused TTRPG table. I enjoy character-driven games with party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and earned emotional moments. Ideal balance: about 50% roleplay, 30% combat, 20% exploration. I like sincere games with humor, but not constant bits, edgelord behavior, or main character syndrome. I fit best with players who share spotlight, cooperate, respect boundaries, and care about everyone’s character mattering. Consent and safety are important to me. Heavy themes, PvP, romance/flirting, sexual content, intense character conflict, or major effects on another PC should be discussed first. Lines and veils should be respected. I’m in Hawaiʻi Time / UTC-10. Weekends are best, and I prefer 2–3 hour sessions. I’m open to voice, PBP, or hybrid formats. Not a good fit for bigotry, disruptive rules-lawyering, non-cooperative play, unconsented PvP/romance/sexual content, trauma dumping, or using RPGs as therapy. Message me on Discord; I’m more responsive there. Please say you saw my Groupfinder post and send a short game pitch. Discord: goldaline

Hello!👋 My name is Drew. I'm a 50 year old gay 🏳️‍🌈 nerdy 🤓 school teacher 👨‍🏫 who loves to play tabletop RPGs and board games. I have been gaming and GM'ing since the 80's. My favorite RPGs are a Star Wars, Shadowrun, and superheroes. My least favorite is Cthulhu. But I will play just about anything if the company is laid back, friendly, and fun! I'm always looking for friends to game with! I run two gaming groups, one on Friday nights and one on Sunday afternoons.  But I want to game more! There are so many awesome games to explore and so little time!

Steve
This is a description for 2 friends trying to find a game together. Residing in the CST timezone, we are available on either Mondays or Tuesday evenings. First: Hey! I'm Steve and I've been playing TTRPGs for around four years. I have DM'd D&D 5e for almost 3 years and have been a player in multiple campaigns in a variety of TTRPGS such as Starts Without Number, Worlds Without Number, and D&D 5e 2014. I also have a little experience with Shadowrun 5e.  I enjoy both combat and roleplay near equally and have zero issue leaning into one or the other Second: Hey! Im That_Guy and I’ve played DND 5e for about 7+ years. I’ve only recently began DMing though, so I have less than a year of DMing experience. I’ve only played DND 5e but I have been very interested in learning more types of TTRPGs. I also prefer a bit more roleplay than combat, but I like a good mix of both and would rather have an equal amount than to have the absence of one.

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Alyx
My name is Alyx, a necromancer at heart and a roleplayer in spirit. I've been DMing and playing in tabletops consistently for over a decade now, but I started with DnD5e when the beta box was first released back in late 2013. I like to play support, prefer roleplaying and exploration over combat, and make unorthodox threats when pressed, so if you're looking for a healer who will tell you they'll eat your bones, I'm your creature.

IbissKB
I am, Ibiss, 26M, a veteran text-based roleplayer (started c. 2013) trying to find my place in other forms of roleplay. In roleplay, I am looking for the narrative aspects, this feel of creating a fun story with unique characters. I prefer simpler systems, and I can't stand metagaming. As for character creation, I prioritize flavor. I love parties full of personality and variety, where no character feels the same. Normally I play as anthropomorphic characters, as most fantasy/sci-fi settings barely give me much to make a human character stand out (humans can be very interesting, specially in real-life based settings, but these aspects often feel a bit too washed out in other settings, so don't blame me for taking the easy route) I prefer giving a long-term commitment when it comes to roleplay, so I expect honest communication about what I'm playing. I'm not here to "try", I am here to find experiences where I can stay for a good while. This means I will highly prioritize the idea of making a unique plot together as a group rather than experiencing the "default" version of any system. My availability is Tuesdays to Fridays @ 3pm-10pm CET.
