Let's Learn Alien Evolved Hopes Last Day Expanded

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
In this **ALIEN RPG Evolved Edition** game, we'll play through the expanded **Hope’s Last Day** adventure included with the official Starter Set. You'll take the role of one of five pre-generated characters trapped in the final hours of Hadley’s Hope and experience a cinematic survival-horror story set in the world of *ALIENS*. Expect exploration, desperate decisions, dwindling resources, rising panic, and the growing realization that you may not be alone. This game is designed to be **beginner friendly**. You do not need any previous experience with ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game, the Evolved Edition rules, Foundry VTT, or tabletop roleplaying games in general. We'll learn the system as we play rather than spending the night studying a rulebook. I run a visual, story-driven game using **Foundry VTT**, and this adventure comes to life with the official Hadley’s Hope maps, characters, creatures, journals, and other integrated game material. The emphasis will be on atmosphere, exploration, character interaction, and survival rather than simply moving from one combat encounter to another.

Alien RPG Evolved Edition

Hey all, I’m starting up a Alien RPG Evolved Edition One-shot that could transition into a campaign. Who: We currently have 4 players and I’d like 1 more personally. What: I want to get a feel for the rule changes in the evolved edition, so we'd start off with Hopes last day before either some more cinematic play or a full blown campaign Campaign will be built as we go along. I’d like to get the full party together to figure out the theme of the campaign. Where: I co-own a discord server where we’ll schedule and discuss, and use Foundry VTT for the actual game. When: Every other week on Wednesday (first day is this week) starting at 7:00 pm CDT. New Players Welcome!

Hello! I am a 22yo that has been getting back into TTRPGS, I am currently trying to do one-shots to get back into the flow of things. The Alien RPG caught my eye, specifically the cinematic mode, which is for one shots. I want to try and run the COTG module, which supposedly takes 4-5 hours in a single session. This module is inspired by old Alien movies, stuck on a ship with lots of drama sort of deal. Players will have agendas, motivations and everyone won't survive. It will be a very rough, horror-ish experience with fights between the character amidst chaos. You choose from pre-made characters and quickly get going, roleplay is very important in this TTRPG. Even if you are not good at roleplay, that is okay, beginners are welcome! It's just about having fun, and trying to survive. Of course, I am looking for serious players as the thematics themselves are firm. Once we find enough players we will settle on a date and so, if you are interested message me on Discord! (Discord name: ayanoayre)

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Take up residence in one of Night City's wildest cargo villages: Dock Cargo Community. Dodge bullets, eat kibble, try to make rent. Docksiders is a game intended to run as a campaign following a group of edgerunners who live in one of the more colorful neighborhoods of Night City: Dock Cargo Community. Nestled between Docks 16 and 17 in the port district of Night City, this small container village sees as much City foot traffic as it does sea traffic. This game will see you taking your edgerunner(s) through a series of jobs and side hustles they need to fund their stylish and dangerous lifestyle. You can expect to see content from both official sources and custom content as well as the ability to plan your own jobs should you acquire the skill and the reputation. Take big risks, take big rewards. But be warned, Night City is an unforgiving place and it would be foolish for anyone to think they will live forever. I use the StartPlaying platform to run this game and you can find the sign-up link here: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmr9j3hnv004rl504bjya77g6?ref=cmox97rts0032jx04sp2wo0xq You can expect about 15$ per session and a long-form campaign taking you through a sandbox world of Night City.

From nobodies to legends. From the streets to the history books. Night City doesn't care who you are. It doesn't care how hard you've fought, how much blood you've spilled, or how many people you've buried. The corps own the skyline, the gangs own the streets, and everyone else is just trying to survive until tomorrow. There's always another job, another fixer with a bad deal, another body in an alley that nobody's going to miss. And then there's you. You're not legends. You're not revolutionaries. You're not the people whose names get whispered in corporate boardrooms or painted across the walls of the Combat Zone. You're just a crew trying to make a name for yourselves in a city that chews up nobodies and spits them out. But every legend starts somewhere. One job becomes two. A favor becomes a debt. A small-time score puts you on the radar of people you were never meant to meet, and suddenly, the stakes are bigger than a few eddies and a place to sleep. You'll make friends, make enemies, build a reputation, and discover that in Night City, the difference between a nobody and a somebody is often just one very bad decision. The city will test you. The corps will try to buy you. The streets will try to bury you. And sooner or later, you'll have to decide what you're willing to sacrifice to get everything you've ever wanted. Because this city has room for legends. It just doesn't have room for everyone who tries to become one. So grab your iron, call your fixer, and get to work. You're going to make history. The only question is what it'll cost you.

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Baltimore, MD. 2026... You haven't been Kindred for long, a decade at most. The Camarilla is a monstruous monolith, but also fairly simple to understand: don't give anyone a reason, and you might just make it one more night. From what you've learned, the modern nights are a different kind of beast. The Masquerade is as frail as it's ever been, and while your Domain is usually uneventful and has managed to keep out of the Inquisition's sight, any misstep could send everything spiraling. Which is why, two nights ago, the entire Domain was shook to its core. A nurse attacked at the hospital's parking lot, left drained on the concrete. The worst part? She survived, and someone filmed the attack. The clip has now ended up on the local news, the worst breach of the Masquerade the city has seen in years, and the Prince is out for blood. Tonight begins with her eminence herself announcing to the entire Domain that she has identified the perpetrator, and has called upon a Blood Hunt. Before dawn approaches, any Kindred in town is invited to hunt down the criminal and bring them to justice by any means necessary — an many are already licking their fangs at the possibility of a sanctioned diablerie. The problem? The culprit is your friend, a neonate Caitiff with good relations to the Coterie. And shortly after the Hunt is called, she contacts you and swears by her innocence. She has possibly been framed, and the clock is already ticking on her unlife. Will you uphold your own convictions and help a friend in need, uncovering the truth behind the incident before it's too late, and bringing the real culprit to light, or will you betray your humanity and take this chance at status and power, and join the rest of the city on Hunt? You have until sunrise, make your choice and act quick, and change the course of this Blood Hunt. To learn more and join the game, check it out on StartPlaying!

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
New Haven, CT. 1986 It's been nearly 10 years since the fall of the usurper Prince and the rise of the Toreador to the throne. The immortals of New Haven settle into their new Praxis, as the board is shuffled and new faces rise to redefine immortal politics. In the barrens, the Anarchs' unrest starts to organize into something more recognizable, as their first Baron rises to occasion and rallies their cries into a recognizable movement. Worst of all, it seems to attract the attention of the opportunistic Sabbat, who see the shifts in city politics as their chance to shake the Domain a little more. And yet... something feels amiss, and not all is what it seems. This is a new era for the Kindred of New Haven. The last two decades of the 20th century, a new Praxis, a board refreshed full of opportunity. Their city stands right in the middle of greater powers and conflicts, between the Sabbat-ridden New York and the internal conflicts of broader New England, this is NH's chance to set itself apart and stand as a Domain to be reckoned. While strife and conspiracy take the domain by storm, only those smart enough to peek behind the curtains will rise to the top, while the rest bleed dry on the unforgiving streets. The dice are cast. Now it's your turn to make a move. [VERY 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 || BEGINNER FRIENDLY || NO AI] Welcome to another chapter of New Haven by Night! The 80's shake the city from the ground up. A lot has changed since the new Prince rose to the throne. The Clans redefined, outsiders make their claims, and exterior threats close in to take their own piece of the pie. This is a game of political intrigue and conspiracy. With the praxis still fresh, the domain is changing constantly, with both Elder and Neonate setting their own board of games and political plays to prepare themselves for the end of the millennium and be one step ahead of their rivals in the eternal Jyhad of the immortals. While at first glance a conflict of factions, some Kindred are beginning to realize not everything is adding up between the Sabbat incursion and the Anarchs rallying. And the Camarilla's enemies will be sorry to find the young Prince is not as naive as they hoped. A 20th Anniversary game stylistically aligned with Revised, this is a game for those who thrive on mysteries and the horror side of vampiric politics. Between survival and ascension, humanity and ambition, what lines will you cross to bring order to this domain, and set yourself apart in the courts of ivory? Will you fight to save what's left of your humanity, or will you reach the depths of depravity to stand victorious among the damned? This is a story for ambitious Kindred, characters willing to explore the darkest corners, and unveil the mysteries of this city to define it's future and their own standing. This is your story now, Kindred. Welcome to the rest of your death. To learn more and join the game, check it out on StartPlaying!

Cyberpunk 2078 takes place in the aftermath of Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2. Night City is still the same merciless concrete jungle it has always been: a city of neon lights, corporate greed, gang warfare and broken dreams. The question is, how much are you willing to sacrifice to make it yours? You are Edgerunners, mercenaries fighting to carve out a name for yourselves in the streets of Night City. Take dangerous jobs, build your reputation, forge uneasy alliances and climb your way up the food chain. Your ultimate goal? Become legends. Preferably without ending up in a drink at the Afterlife. You'll travel across Night City's sprawling districts, take on ruthless gangs, navigate dangerous roleplaying encounters and strike devil's bargains with the corporations that pull the city's strings. Every job is an opportunity, every deal comes with a price and every choice can have consequences. Trust is a luxury, betrayal is business and survival is never guaranteed. Whether you're a seasoned Cyberpunk veteran or a complete newcomer stepping into the dark future for the first time, this campaign welcomes you. So grab your iron, chrome up and get ready to make some noise. Put the punk in cyber. The Star Hoarder's Cache

Previously, on The Star Hoarder's Cache: Fade into the party hurriedly discussing their plan while fleeing a burning Space Freighter "If it's a choice between joining Pirates, the Rebels or the Law... I'm for the Rebels." Cut to an impeccibly dressed businessman leaning on his mahogony desk "A new ship? That's quite the favor, my friends. Luckily I have just the job for you..." Fade up as we look into your character's eyes, focused straight ahead "There's no way, Val! That shot is impossible!"  "It's still the best we have." Hey everyone! I’m Alan, and I GM for a group of lovable misfits online. We've been together around 3 years now, and are getting ready to launch our next grand sci-fi campaign: The Star Hoarder's Cache! If you love deep character development, witty table banter, and adventures where your choices genuinely shape the story, we’d love to meet you! We’re currently looking for 1–2 dedicated roleplayers to round out our crew. The Campaign Hook: Think Guardians of the Galaxy meets Firefly, Mass Effect, and Treasure Island. Expect a scrappy, found-family crew chasing legendary fortunes across uncharted frontiers. The tone balances high-stakes galactic intrigue, sharp comedic banter, and meaningful character arcs. Your past catches up with you, the galaxy reacts dynamically to your decisions, and every crew member has a vital voice in where your ship flies next. We used the Adventure Path 'Murder in Metal City' to onboard us into SF2e, and are ready to tackle a homebrew campaign. About the GM & Table Style The Style: I bring 3 years of GMing experience backed by a long history studying improv at Second City. That means dynamic scenes, distinct NPC personalities, and an adaptive GM approach where player creativity, humor, and bold ideas are rewarded. The Current Crew: Our table consists of two women, and four men. (Including me, the GM) We're looking for another 1-2 players to round out the table, cis-women preferred. Immersion & Focus: To maintain high energy and uninterrupted roleplay during game night, our sessions are recorded and privately uploaded so that only table members have access. This allows me to stay 100% present in the moment while ensuring every player decision, inside joke, and plot thread is captured accurately between sessions without breaking the flow for note-taking. The Atmosphere: We are an inclusive, collaborative, and communicative group. We share the spotlight, support each other's character arcs, and prioritize fun, respectful storytelling above all else. We utilize safety tools like X-Cards and establish clear boundaries/lines & veils ahead of time. If a session is likely to involve heavier depictions of potentially difficult topics, I make a point to remind everyone of the X-Card options and check in with players ahead of time. Campaign Length: Our table enjoys campaigns around 12 sessions long. We've run four of them so far using PF2e. I try to focus on an overarching narrative while weaving in the backstories and goals of the party members. Some backstory plots get resolved along with the main campaign; while others are given clues and breadcrumbs into our next campaign. Logistics & Requirements System: Starfinder 2e / Pathfinder 2e We started as a PF2e group, and after 3 years; are trying out SF2e. The two systems are practically the same, except for minor tweaks Platform: Foundry VTT for gameplay, Discord for out-of-character crew banter. Schedule: Twice per month, running on a weekday evening (Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thu based on group consensus), 6:30 PM – ~11:00 PM CST. Tech: Clear working microphone, reliable internet, and a PC/browser capable of running Foundry VTT smoothly. Webcam use is encouraged, but optional. Age: 21+ I aim to run a PG-13/Sometimes 'R' rated table. We focus on keeping things friendly, with strictly zero-tolerance for bigotry or toxic behavior. How to Apply: If you want to join our crew, send me a direct message with brief answers to the following: Experience: What is your background with Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e or tabletop RPGs? (Beginners to the system are welcome!) Playstyle: What draws you to TTRPG's; Combat/Strategy, Improv/Character development or creating a Shared-Storyline? Table Dynamic: What energy do you hope to bring to the table in our story-driven campaign? Applications will remain open until we find the right fit, followed by a brief, casual chat on Discord to make sure we're all on the same page before jumping in. (We'll go over table expectations, a short tutorial for using FoundryVTT, any Off-Limit topics, etc.) Looking forward to welcoming you to our table!

Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out. It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I do ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. Emergency stuff, like if you get sick or something. I do care about my players! FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT PLOT AND GROUP COMPOSITION! 1 Give me warning 24 hours before the game if you are gonna cancel. I need the time to tell the others and cancel the game if I don't have enough people to play. This is non negotiable! 2 Play well with others. If you are too disruptive, I will boot you after several warnings. 3 Take a different role each new campaign. Try new things! 4 You have to show up to play 75% of the time. If you cancel too many times, there's no point to having you in the group. 5 Sometimes you will be required to take a role you don't really want because the rest of the group made their picks already, this is meant to help the group have versatility. If this happens, the next campaign I will make sure you get first pick as to your role/class. 6 If you have to make sacrifices for the group, like blowing feats on item crafting etc, I will try to send good things your way. Teamwork is important. I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. I am very adept at teaching, btw. This campaign is on Mondays at 6pm Central time Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Set in Chicago, I've added abilities to the NPCs to support their discipline powers, and set the whole timeline from Chicago 1 to 2 and beyond more gradually, changed who lives. Note that I have changed some of the clans a bit, like switched Gangrel(Sabbat) and City Gangrel (Camarilla), turned certain Brujah into True Brujah, a Ventrue into a Nosferatu, that sort of thing. Vampire has characters that are difficult to create without my assistance if you don't know how the numbers and discipline powers work (you distribute dots, there are no classes). However the game play dice mechanics/rules are easy as heck. The hard part is that it demands more forethought to play, because there's a lot of deceptive NPCs, including your own. It is oddly more ethical/moral than medieval fantasy games by far, even though you don't play a hero normally, and even though you're a vampire feeding on humans and aren't human yourself. It's darker I suppose, lots of intrigue and figuring out what is really going on. Kinda like watching Babylon 5 or Dune, you have to take notes to recall everything that could be vital later. A LOT less combat than medieval fantasy games! It's rare, but nasty when it does occur. Maturity is advised. Note that I broke my campaign down in a timeline, it can be altered by PC actions, even down to the year and month.  VERY DETAILED homebrew campaign that can be changed given PC choices. RIght now they are in 1991, you will get the PC's average xp to start with, along with a host of extra little benefits outside what the creation rules normally grant. You dictate the parameters, I figure out how to make the mechanics do what you want and tell you about potential problems, and I pick out flaws so as to give you your own story arc. Its also a great way to get rid of problem NPCs. The Dark Fate flaw is reserved for anyone meeting their end during Gehenna, the end of the world. See, the Antediluvians rise, and they are hungry for their clan members.... That doesn't mean you can't play, you can still run other characters even after your main one croaks. Official list of clans/bloodlines you can take in Chicago compatible with the group as it is: Nosferatu (must take Dark Fate flaw), Toreador, Ventrue, Brujah, Gangrel (Sabbat), Malkavian, City Gangrel (Camarilla), Tzimisce (must take the Dark Fate flaw), Gargoyle, Caitiff (Anarch typically), Assamite (Milwaukee Sabbat), True Brujah (Camarilla). Obscure list (you can take them if you want, but you won't have support from fellow clan members in Chicago): Daughter of Cacophony, Nagarajah, Lamia. Got a Cappadocian (a hospital morgue doctor and a necromancer), Salubri (one Healer(an FBI agent), one Watcher (a homicide Chicago police detective), one Salubri Warrior that also has Celerity as clan, and Lasombra (an amateur boxer and criminal lawyer, he wants to go Camarilla). I have set up each pc to have fast growth, to have really good rolls for their disciplines right away. The party could use a member that has Vicissitude, Animalism as clan, or possibly Thaumaturgy. Luckily there's a 5 point merit that allows anyone to buy clan xp rates, hint hint.  If you go into this expecting to create your character without regard to the setting or the group composition, you can kiss your entitled butt goodbye. Even if I did nothing different as GM, the group would suffer and your PC might not make it. I do get your back when I get the chance if you are willing to try a clan you don't normally. You gotta also pay for mentor ratings since you need a teacher to increase your disciplines outside of Celerity, Fortitude, Potence. BTW, I made these 3 powers much easier to use, and less vitae expensive. If you pick from the obscure list, you can BUY up to 7th generation, but you blow 6 background dots to pull it off.  Caitiff are interesting, I made them able to teach ANY discipline they learn; normally the 13 clans can only teach their clan disciplines. A Tremere is possible, but you'd need to be a diehard Anarch (meaning the local Tremere want your keister dead, although good news for you that the Chicago ones are less than competent). If you don't know the clans, I can give you information but you will need the V20 core rulebook (learning the setting and abilities but not the disciplines), the dark ages core rulebook (mostly just for the super powers/disciplines), tome of secrets (all forms of vampire magic, even Obtenebration), and Erciyes Fragments (this will feature heavily in the campaign, its the Vampire bible of sorts including prophecies) books. Also a total of 20 d10's, basically two matched sets of 10 d10's, but the 2 sets cannot match each other. Preferably translucent dice, not solid. Chuck out any that have bubbles inside. Game always starts at 6pm central Mondays. The Guide to the Camarilla from the Revised edition might be handy, but not strictly necessary. Prince's Primer is nice for understanding elder vampires' mindset. They are very manipulative, and deceptive. I am using V20 for most of the fluff, with slight alterations to politics, the abilities for the most part. DAV20 is for the disciplines, the special powers. I can get you pdfs of the two core books free. We are also using Ercyicyes Fragments and Book of Nod in the campaign, the party just got a copy of both by accident. Yes, I will be taking the campaign into the end of the world, Gehenna. Lore of the Clans and Lore of the Bloodlines might be useful. This is a copy of an update I gave to a player that missed a session: Both Michael Payne Toreador and Son of the Malkavians are dead, and Jay found another body in the basement, this time of a dead boy, a formerly months old vampire Caitiff. His name was Neon, and Damien of the Brujah (one of 2 anarch leaders was caring/teaching for Neon) Damien will have to be told. Neon was chained via manacles to the basement floor in Son's Skokie residence, his throat ripped out and his face gnawed upon. Evidence was found that Son was blackmailing Horatio Ballard into insane and demeaning acts. You could get a major boon from Ballard using this, or use it against him in other ways. (the players gave this information to the Nosferatu, who now owe them big time)  Ballard apparently has been naughty. Michael accidentally killed Son, and Michael is dead thanks to the party knocking him into torpor, and the elders ending him. recall, Michael was suicidal, and homicidal after the party ended his ex wife. plus had a rep for being a thug who used to cause chaos your character Salubri Healer just rescued the young couple that Son was psychologically torturing, and you shot Michael (bashing damage, just reduced him to torpor) as he tried to use Ben the Cappadocian as a shield

Dune: The heretics gift

Thursdays 10pm est DUNE: THE HERETIC’S GIFT — Looking for Players You owe a criminal kingpin a very large favor. Luckily, he’s offering you a way out. Intercept a mysterious “gift” being exchanged between the Bene Tleilax and a religious zealot House. Bring it back and your debt is wiped clean—and you’ll be paid handsomely. Just don’t start a holy war. And try not to get yourselves dealt with. This will be a short Dune: Adventures in the Imperium arc of up to 5 sessions, with intrigue, espionage, action, questionable decisions, and plenty of room for players to decide how they approach the mission. Afterward, I’m looking to bring together players for a longer campaign where we’ll build our House together and decide as a group what kind of Dune story we want to tell. I’ve been GMing for 10+ years and running Dune since the Modiphius game released. 2d20 is my favorite system to run, and I’m a lifelong Dune fan who grew up with the novels and the gloriously weird David Lynch film. New players are absolutely welcome.

ROTFRONT Survival-horror

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Survival horror, sci-fi  campaign based on the indie game "SIGNALIS" , played with  modified cp-red meccanics. [This table usses a slightly Faster PbP format , especially when It comes to in game conversations] ________________________________ You will find yourselves on the frozen moon of Rotfront, where the Hayades multi-function maintenance station has ceased communication with the outside world and things are taking a strange turn... all while a mysterious state of emergency is declared. In this campaign, you can choose from a wide range of roles based on the survival horror game "SIGNALIS"—a sci-fi communist dystopia featuring retrowave technology. Your characters can be either a Replika (a biomechanical construct based on a mental pattern) or a Gestalt—an ordinary and "free" Eusan citizen. GAMEPLAY: -Roleplay -Combat and scarce resources: Although most CP mechanics will be heavily overshadowed by resource scarcity, the campaign's survival horror mechanics ensure there is never a dull moment. This campaign may contain: gore, sexual/psychological themes, and—above all—cosmic horror; madness is not a matter of "if," but of "how much." (18+) The campaign's homebrew content includes: -Races and models (Gestalt, Replika) -Changes to cyberware compatibility -Addition of a new weapon type (carbine) -Buffs to automatic fire and SMGs; changes to certain rates of fire -Various exotic weapons -Buffs to certain cyberware -Bioresonance mechanics Billing: of course you will never be asked to pay to play or to continue playng, but donations are wellcome and help me keep putting all the effort i put on the games i run. (A lot, too much probably)

Wetaskiwin: The Weakening V20

Hey everyone! We're looking for some new people to join our Vampire: the Masquerade V20 game, set in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. We're an 18+ Discord play-by-post server with an active, international community. Post as you're comfortable, we know life happens. Just keep your scene partners in the loop.   Wetaskiwin is a domain-focused sandbox with player-driven stories. The domain is currently Camarilla, but that could change depending on what happens in game. Characters' choices matter, including what direction the city takes. Bring your ambitions, make connections, get involved, and see where it goes.   The city has history. People have built relationships, made enemies, lost things, and left their mark on the domain. There's politics, personal stories, trouble to get into, and room for your character to become part of it all. You don't need to know everything that's happened to find your place here. We welcome new and experienced VtM players, and we're happy to help you get started. We use V20 with our own house rules, and we're looking for people who want to write stories together and give others a chance to be involved. We do vet new players before bringing them in. It's a chance to talk about expectations and make sure we're a good fit for each other. If you're interested, send me a message. Tell me a little about yourself, whether you've played VtM before, and what kind of RP you enjoy. You don't need a character ready to go, we can talk through that together.
