Horror

Getting a group back together who have not played for a while due mostly to university impacts. The games will be Cthulhu 7e and Classic Delta Green (maybe even Cthulhu dark Ages).  Looking for one or two more players to round things out. The GM is super experienced and creates a very suspenseful and immersive experience. The hard bit is the location - Newberg Oregon so a bit of a drive from PDX unless you are in Beaverton or Tigard. This could be Friday nights or Saturday nights depending on mutual sceduling, and with busy work lives twice a month max. Reach out for more info.  Important note (if this matters to you) we are a wide range of ages from 30s to 50s and we dont care about that - but you might!

Dawn of Defiance (SW5e)

The Galaxy is Changing. The Clone Wars are over, the Republic has fallen, and the Galactic Empire is tightening its iron grip. Darth Vader hunts the remaining Jedi, and Core World nobles willingly profit from the new regime's tyranny. There is no organized rebellion yet—just isolated sparks, harsh oppression, and a galaxy that tolerates zero opposition. You and your crew find yourselves caught right in the middle of this dangerous new era. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, a mistake doesn't just mean failure—it means a one-way trip to Kessel. Can a band of ordinary or desperate souls find a way to strike back against a monolithic threat? Your journey begins with a clandestine meeting with a certain sympathetic Senator from Alderaan... System: SW5e (Star Wars 5e) Setting: 17 BBY (Dawn of Defiance Campaign) Vibe: Gritty, high-stakes rebellion rising from the ashes of the Clone Wars.

Looking for 2 players for an in-person D&D group

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Hey everyone! 🎲 We’re looking for 2 more people, ages 18–30, to join a new in-person D&D campaign around Lakewood/Denver. We already have 2 players and we’re really hoping to find people who want more than just showing up for D&D. We’d love to build an actual friend group where we can also play board games, grab food, hang out, etc. So definitely friends first, D&D players second. The campaign is a long-term homebrew world called Soleil: 500 years ago, the Sun stopped moving. Civilization now survives in a narrow band of eternal twilight between a blazing desert and a frozen darkness. On the 500th anniversary of a massive yearly ceremony, four travelers leave the safety of The Line to discover what lies beyond the walls. It’ll be a mix of mystery, exploration, roleplay, combat, giant titan monsters, emotional story moments, and weird discoveries. ✨ We’re thinking: • In person around Lakewood/Denver • About every other week • Long-term campaign • D&D 2024 rules • Beginners welcome • We’d probably do a casual hangout or board game night first just to make sure everyone vibes before committing • Your character will have deep secret and background link to the world ! If you’re interested, send me a message and tell me a little about yourself, what you like about D&D, and what other games or hobbies you’re into!

The thrilling start of a spooktacular pirate mini-campaign - Avast, me mateys! There’s word of a patron loaded with pieces of eights, looking for fine cutthroats & scallywags such as yourselves for a deadly task. Are you familiar with the tale of The Maelstrom, a warship that sailed out from the depths of the underworld, helmed by the dreaded captain Albrecht the Tideborn? A load of hogwash if you ask me, but the coin is good and the task is simple: board the boat, rescue some landlubber, and feed the fish with as many crew members as you can. Are you with me? Good! Have some grog, and here’s to sending that blasted vessel down among the dead… RSVP at: Oct 16th 6:30 pm - https://bgetabletop.eventcalendarapp.com/roleplay-roulette-19 Oct 23rd 6:30 pm - https://bgetabletop.eventcalendarapp.com/roleplay-roulette-20 Oct 30th 6:30 pm - https://bgetabletop.eventcalendarapp.com/roleplay-roulette-21

DEATHBRINGER playtest - now seeking victims!

Playtest
The game is still being tested, and your feedback is part of the point.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
This is a live beta playtest of teh DEATHBRINGER ttrpg. Recently, Dan DeFazio (alias Professor Dungeonmaster) crushed it with a crowdfunding campaign for Deathbringer on Backerkit. This is an exclusive opportunity to become a playtester for the game system. You canshape the future of Deathbringer. Recruiting playtesters now and I would like to get rolling before October '26 is out. Games and times will be arranged based on interest. So what is Deathbringer? Deathbringer is a streamlined, grimdark TTRPG that runs in the vein of Shadowdark. It's built to create a fast-paced, gritty game. In Deathbringer, death is a real possibility, danger lurks around every corner, and you are a gritty hero struggling to survive in a hostile world. It feels less like a tactical exercise and more like a movie; you use natural language like: “I sneak up behind him and stab him in the kidney,” as opposed to, “I move three squares and fl ank him for an opportunity attack.” You are not limited by your character sheet. Want to swing from a chandelier, smite an enemy, or turn a ham-hock into an improvised weapon? Do it! Because every character has a right to kill someone with a ham-hock...

Lashana
Intro: Hi, my name is Lindsey (aka Lashana) (pronouns: she/her). I'm in my late 30s and I'm looking for a group of people to hang out and have adventures with. Experience: I have a little experience playing RPGs, but outside of Baldur's Gate 3, haven't had much of a chance to play D&D. Looking for either an online or in-person group that is open to a very rusty D&D player who may struggle a bit with combat mechanics for a while. Game System: I own the D&D 5e Player's Handbook (2014), but am up to DM recommendations for modules/supplementary stuff.  Game Frequency and Logistics: Bi-weekly or weekly preferred. Available to play all day on Sundays and any evening after 4 PM CST. Have Roll20 and D&D Beyond basic accounts (still learning to use them, so bear with me). Have a webcam and decent headset with microphone. Preferences: Looking for roleplay-focused group. Interested in games that have both fun NPC and player shenanigans as well as drama. Would prefer a longer campaign that lets me get used to whatever character I end up playing and get my roleplay legs underneath me again. Have the bare bones of a character idea for a language scholar who might not know they're a Warlock. Content Preferences/Triggers: A huge sucker for flirting and romance storylines in TTRPGs. No triggers except for graphic descriptions of people vomiting. Roleplaying Influences: Just Roll With It and Legends of Avantris

Hi im Urdok, I've played a lot of crpgs and have always wanted to play an in person table top game. I am currently looking for a weekly or bi weekly game for starfinder 1e on wensday and thrusdays at or after 6pm(Est). While I haven't played the game it's self im familiar with the 3.5/pathfinder system it uses. I generally play hybrid builds mostly of the heavy armored battle mage variety. I would like a campagin thats a balance of action and story, I don't mind though if for a secssion its more story focused than gameplay. Im okay with my character dying.., sure i'll be sad but it's not fun if theres no risk!

Tabletop gaming in United States

The United States is where tabletop roleplaying started - Dungeons & Dragons was born in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in 1974, and the hobby has been growing here ever since. Today you’ll find games running in almost every city and plenty of small towns, from weekly campaigns in your Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS, the shop everyone in your area already knows about) to drop-in one-shots at libraries, cafés and community centres.

D&D is still the most common table you’ll sit down at, but it’s far from the only option. Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire: The Masquerade and a huge indie scene all have active local groups, and many stores run organised play nights where you can just show up, grab a pre-made character and start playing. No rulebook knowledge required - the table will teach you.

The US also hosts some of the biggest tabletop conventions in the world, including Gen Con in Indianapolis, Origins in Columbus and PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia - great places to try new systems in a single weekend.
