Saga20

Never lose track of your epic tabletop gaming moments again

Overview

Saga20 is the campaign tool that keeps up with your table. It is a full world builder, a campaign wiki, a session summarizer, a character sheet system and a shared player portal, and all of it runs off one action: hit record. Play the session, upload the audio, and Saga20 works out who spoke, writes the recap, and pushes what happened into every world page it touched. Characters, locations, factions and items each keep their own page, their own timeline, and a link back to the session where it happened. Most world builders need you to update them. This one updates itself. It works for every TTRPG system, from
D&D https://groupfinder.gg/library/dungeons-dragons-5e-2014
across all editions to
Pathfinder 1e https://groupfinder.gg/library/pathfinder-2009
and
2e https://groupfinder.gg/library/pathfinder-2nd-edition-2019
,
Call of Cthulhu https://groupfinder.gg/library/call-of-cthulhu-2014
,
Cyberpunk RED https://groupfinder.gg/library/cyberpunk-red-2020
and
Vampire: The Masquerade https://groupfinder.gg/library/vampire-the-masquerade-5e-2018
, with character sheets built into the app. The app is quickly growing in popularity and is already being used and trusted by thousands of GMs.

Description

Every campaign wiki dies the same death. Immaculate for four sessions, then the group plays a long night, nobody writes it up, and a month later the wiki describes a campaign that no longer exists. Saga20 fixes that at the source. The session is the input, and the world updates because you played, not because you did homework afterwards. Underneath the automation is a proper world builder. Characters, NPCs, locations, factions, items, deities, starships, corporations, clues, house rules: anything in the campaign gets a real page, with rich text, images, custom icons and cover art, organized into folders and templates and custom entity types for whatever the world needs. Search reaches every page instantly. A campaign graph draws who knows whom. Interactive maps carry routes, regions, pins and the party's current position. Build it all by hand if that is the fun part, or you can import an existing world across from
Obsidian https://groupfinder.gg/library/obsidian
, Notion, Google Docs or
World Anvil https://groupfinder.gg/library/world-anvil
and carry on from there. You can then upload session recordings to automatically update your world wiki. Anyone at the table can record, on a phone, a dedicated mic, Discord or Zoom, and nobody else has to install anything. Saga20 generates the Session Notes including choices, clues, quests and consequences that happened during the session then automatically updates the world pages so you'll always have an up to date wiki without having to spend hours after every session.  It is not only the GM's tool but a tool for the entire table. Players can read the campaign and session notes without an account, or choose to claim their own characters, keep their character sheets on the same page as the story, and arrive at the next session actually remembering the last one. The wiki can be themed to match the setting and published on its own link. Prep, play, notes and the whole table, in one place.

Key features

A Proper World Builder

Everything in the setting gets a real page. Characters, NPCs, locations, factions and items to start, then whatever else the campaign calls for, because the entity types are yours to define: deities, corporations, starships, clues, house rules. Pages take rich text, images, custom icons and cover art, and sit in folders and templates you control. Search reaches the whole campaign instantly. It stands up as a worldbuilding tool on its own, and it also happens to be what every session writes into.

The Wiki That Writes Itself

When a character, location, faction or item matters during a session, Saga20 adds that event to the right page as dated timeline history and links it back to the recap it came from. The tavern keeper the party robbed gains a line about it without anyone opening a document. Every entry stays editable, and any of them can be removed. This is the part that keeps a twenty session campaign coherent instead of archaeological.

Session Notes and the Campaign Journal

Summaries are written as story, and every one is generated with the full world context so names, places and callbacks stay accurate. Characters and locations in the recap link straight to their wiki pages. Alongside it, the Campaign Journal keeps a live read on where things stand: which quests are active, which have gone dormant, and which threads are still unresolved. Quick Edit fixes a name or expands a scene before players see any of it.

The Campaign Graph and Campaign Chat

Mention any person, place or faction inside the wiki and Saga20 records the connection, then draws the campaign graph so a GM can see who knows whom and why it matters. Session events add connections too, and the graph filters down when the world gets busy. Campaign Chat handles the questions that surface mid-prep: who made that promise, where the party left the relic, which threads are still open. It searches summaries and transcripts, with world context keeping the answer tied to the campaign actually played.

Interactive Maps

World, region and battle maps can be uploaded and marked up directly. Draw routes, regions and labels, pin the characters and places that matter, and move the party marker as the campaign travels. Map markers link through to their pages in the wiki, so a pin on a fortress opens the fortress.

A Wiki the Whole Table Uses

Each campaign wiki can be themed to match the setting, with custom colors, fonts and background, then published on its own campaign subdomain at saga20.world. Players claim their own character, add their art, write their own descriptions, and follow a personal history that grows as the campaign does, while DM-only sections keep secrets out of view. Character sheets for D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e live on the same page as the story, covering stats, abilities, combat, spells, gear and conditions.

Imports, API Access and Discord

Campaigns that already exist can move in. Saga20 imports Markdown, Word and PDF files or a whole folder, with support for notes coming from Obsidian, Notion, Google Docs and World Anvil, and every imported page is reviewable before it joins the world. Finished recaps publish straight to a chosen Discord channel as a formatted message, and editing the recap later can update the Discord message too. An API exposes public sessions, recaps and world data for groups running their own tools.

Worldbuilding
Free
VVD is a visually driven world-building and campaign management platform launched in 2024. Created by an independent developer, it positions itself as a streamlined, "distraction-free" alternative to complex wikis like World Anvil. In 2025, the platform gained massive popularity on social media for its "clean UI" and its strict No-AI pledge, promising that all art and assets on the platform are created by human artists.  Description VVD is built for the "sparks of inspiration." It uses a card-based system to organize NPCs, locations, and magic items, allowing users to connect them visually through an interactive graph. Unlike traditional folder-heavy organizers, VVD feels like a digital corkboard or a personalized Wikipedia that prioritizes aesthetics and ease of use. It is a web-based tool, meaning it requires an internet connection, but it is highly optimized for mobile devices, making it a favorite for GMs who need to jot down world-building notes on the go. System Overview & Key Features The Infinite Canvas VVD features a spatial "Canvas" mode where users can drag and drop their lore cards to create mind maps. This allows you to visually plot out character relationships, political factions, or historical timelines, with lines and labels connecting each element in a fluid, non-linear way. Interactive Map Pins Users can upload high-resolution maps and place interactive pins that link directly to lore cards. If a player visits a new town, the GM can click the pin to instantly pull up the town’s description, NPCs, and local rumors without searching through a menu. Auto-Linking Wiki System The platform automatically recognizes the names of your lore cards within your writing. If you mention a specific character in a location description, VVD will create a hyperlink to that character's card automatically, ensuring your world remains interconnected and easy to navigate. Human-Artist Focus In a direct response to industry trends, VVD has built its brand on supporting human creativity. They pledge 10% of their revenue to supporting real artists and feature a marketplace of hand-drawn assets, ensuring the platform remains a haven for traditional and digital illustrators. Quill (Story Writing Tool) New for 2026, "Quill" is an integrated manuscript editor. It allows authors to write their novels or campaign guides side-by-side with their lore cards, enabling them to reference character stats or world history in a split-screen view while they draft. Publishable World Wikis Paid users can turn their private world-building into a "public wiki" with a single click. This generates a sleek, readable website that GMs can share with their players or authors can share with their readers to show off their setting's depth and art. That's Redacted is a delta green actual play series. Delta Green is a rpg that focuses on what lovecraftian horrors would be doing in the modern time and how people would respond to them. The show can get quite heavy sometimes as its the nature of the game, as its about the consequences of being on the first on scene to stopping these horrors. The group of players is a collection of doctors, graduate students and game designers. We've been playing together for over 10 years and have lots of experience playing TTRPGs.
