Yo! I'm a 19-year old girl and I've been playing DnD 5e (2014) for about two years. I pick up the rules easily but I sometimes struggle with the roleplay aspect (I'm still learning that part). Still, my favorite parts of TTRPG's are roleplay, exploration and creative problem solving. I don't take myself or the game too seriously and will often opt to do something the fun way even if it's not the most strategic choice. I'm most comfortable with the DnD 5e (2014) rules but (2024) is fine as well. I would also really like to try the Call of Cthulhu system. That being said, I think it's more fun playing when the rules aren't too strict. Student life is keeping me busy so because of that I would prefer to play every other week. Weekly is fine too but I might have to miss a session every now and then to study for/take exams.
