Description

Hello, Im Jeremy an experienced DM who has Dmed 3 full campaigns and multiple one shots. Im looking for players for an Eberron campaign that involves cults, intrigue, capitalism, tough choices, and combat. New or experienced players are welcome as long as you are serious about the game. This is a long term game going from level 3 to 18. Im looking for 4-6 players willing to create characters that are adapted to the world. Your choices matter here greatly as well as your backstories.  What is Eberron? It’s a world bound by a golden ring and surrounded by twelve moons. It’s the intersection of thirteen planes of existence, which shift in and out of alignment. It’s a place where magic has been harnessed as a tool used to build cities, to sail ships through the skies, to create both wonders and weapons. Eberron embraces swashbuckling action and pulp adventure and adds a layer of neo-noir intrigue. Stories don’t always end well and there isn’t a perfect answer to every problem. The Last War turned old allies into bitter enemies and destroyed an entire nation, leaving terrible scars behind. Crime and corruption lurk in the great cities of Khorvaire. Hidden dragons shape the course of history. Sinister fiends influence the dreams of the unwary. Human greed and ambition may prove more dangerous than any devil or demon.   We will be using discord for voice, and dndbeyond for VTT and character sheets.   If this is your cup of tea please dm  on discord @tectonicponic

Chronicles of Runeheim

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
I'm opening a new campaign on my homebrew world inspired by Gilenor (rs3)! Summary For over a millennia, the Empire of Runeheim has enjoyed a fragile peace under the World Council. The Great God Wars are a distant memory, the gods themselves have been sealed away by the Edict of Guthix, and magic is now into the very skin of mortals through runic tattoos. But the silence of the gods is being broken. On the prehistoric island of Anachronia, archaeologists have unearthed inscriptions of "Ancient Gods" that predate creation itself. What will happen to the world in case all those inscriptions are really true? The Game: This is a long-term, high-fantasy campaign set in Runeheim, a homebrew world inspired by the lore and atmosphere of RuneScape (RS3/OSRS). You don't need to have played the games to be part of this campaign (and I honestly kinda prefer you didn't play, since there's a lot of changes xD) We will begin at Level 1 in the humble town of Catherby, eventually scaling to Level 20 as you navigate the main areas of the world in search of hidden artifacts alongside the archeologists. System: D&D 5e (2014 Rules with some 2024 additions) Time: Wednesdays at 7:00 PM EST Platform: Foundry + Discord Tone: The setting is very political, so it's serious but with room for humor. Think 70% Roleplay / 15% Exploration / 15% Combat. Pacing: Slow-burn. Your choices will matter later on the campaign, and background is necessary since it'll be implemented on the story. Who I am looking for: The Storytellers: Players who love to rp, develop their character’s goals, fears, and relationships. The Lore-Hounds: You don't need to know RuneScape lore (this is a homebrew spin), but you should enjoy uncovering world history and political secrets. Consistency: Since this is a long-term epic, I am looking for players who can commit to a weekly schedule. World Features: Runic Magic: A unique take on spellcasting where magic is tied to runic tattoos and "Pure Essence". Deep Factions: From the White Knights of Falador to the mysterious Prophets of Zaros. Meaningful Choices: No true scripted paths. Will you uphold the Empire’s order, or side with the chaos of the seas? Send me a DM if you want to take part of this story!

The Untold Legend of Bakunawa, Sessions 0 & 1 Free

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
ABOUT: This adventure takes place in the Sansinukob Wildspace. This system has 13 planets, held together by a dead and forgotten god at the center. There are no suns here, only moons to illuminate every planet. Fifty years ago, a monstrous sea serpent named Bakunawa awakened from her slumber, consumed by endless hunger. She consumed all six moons above planet Tawalisi, one by one, until they were left in darkness for thirty years. Twenty years ago, the datu, Maximo Catubig, invented Bulan Lights, magical lamps that emit artificial moonlight, finally bringing light back to his people. They were a solace, soon placed in every home in Tawalisi. The people were finally able to thrive again, and Maximo helped pave the way to further technological advancement. However, decades of darkness had taken its toll; Some of the citizens of Tawalisi have become consumed by the same hunger that possessed Bakunawa, mutating their bodies and destroying their minds until all they can think about is eating the Bulan Lights. They will stop at nothing to consume all sources of moonlight, and will hurt and kill anything and anyone that gets in the way. Datu Maximo has called for help from all adventurers willing to listen. Assist him in installing these lights wherever he can, so he can save his people from being plunged into darkness again. Runial

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The campaign takes place on a world called Runial. It's made up of a number of factions, the foremost being: Civils, the alliance of demi humans such as humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, orcs, goblins, and any other manner of humanoid beings. Ferals, which are more animal than humanoid, anthropomorphic creatures made up of any animal species you can imagine. Pseudofauna, which are a mix of demi human and some animal trait. Examples of this include Holstaur, winged humans, certain harpies and so on. They're distrusted by both Civil and Feral societies yet are free to pass through either albeit with some trouble. Outworlders, mysterious beings with special powers that are resistant to Runian natives. They can be any Runian race, although none of them come with memories of how they came to be. Civilization for the most part on Runial can be described as the 1800s. The most advanced parts of the world have access to the most basic of amenities, such as rudimentary plumbing and electricity. Weaponry has advanced up to single action revolvers and lever action rifles. Runial in recent times has been plagued by a mysterious weather phenomenon known as the Aetherwind, a warm gentle breeze that rises from the ground, bringing with it motes of multicolored orbs of mana that float gently towards the sky. Any living thing caught in the Aetherwind is quickly and horribly mutated, rarely surviving the process. Alongside the appearance of the Aetherwind came the arrival of beings known as Outworlders, people of any Runian race that came with special abilities and high resistant to attacks and effects from Runian natives, making them difficult to deal with without extreme measures. The Aetherwind began at the most northern point of Runial and over time has crept slowly to the south, pushing the Civil races down towards Feral territories. Ferals, in an attempt to retain their lands, have declared a war on Civils to prevent their encroachment and Civils, desperate to escape the Aetherwind, grab what land they can to survive. The Aetherwind can also appear in random pockets anywhere on Runial, making nowhere truly safe. You are an adventurer that has woken up in an alien looking laboratory with no memories of who you once were or what has been done to you. After a narrow escape, you're now looking for answers alongside others that have also escaped the facility. (Note: The game has themes of violence and is somewhat dark in nature without becoming too edgy. I do not focus on overtly sexual themes. We are partially on the second act of the campaign and are looking for 2 additional players for a long term commitment. I prefer newer players and don't mind teaching them, but veterans are ok too. My campaign has some homebrew and mixed elements. I DO use generative AI in creation of character images and some tokens in Foundry. I do NOT use AI in any part of my worldbuilding, character creation, or story progression. The players and GM are over 30. The session will take place over Discord mostly through text and voice, but for some sequences such as combat Foundry will be used.)
