Saga20 Free Tools is a set of small utilities for D&D and TTRPGs, each built to clear one specific bottleneck at the table. Nothing asks for a login, nothing runs ads, and each one loads as its own page. The dice roller handles a d20 with advantage or disadvantage, applies the modifier, and rolls damage in the same click, with the full set from d4 to d100 and a typed input for things like 1d20 + 2d6. The Magic Item Price Calculator gives a fair gold value for any 5e item from its rarity and category, and shows the valid market range so a generous DM does not accidentally break the campaign economy. The Point Buy Calculator builds ability scores using point buy, the standard array, or rolled stats, with live modifiers under both the 2014 and 2024 rules. The rest follow the shape of a campaign. Before the first session, an agreement builder covers logistics, safety tools, and house rules, then exports to PDF, and a party connection generator ties the characters' backstories to each other. Mid-game there is a time manager for pacing and a wild magic surge table with 100 original effects. Afterwards the recap generator turns the night's highlights into cards worth sharing. There is also a shopkeeper generator, a magic item picker, and a party composition analyzer that says out loud whether anyone remembered to bring a healer. Best for any table wanting a quick tool or answer mid-session without making an account first.

Nat20.cloud is a free virtual tabletop for running and archiving your RPG campaigns. Play D&D 5e or Pathfinder 2e, build your own homebrew system, and run sessions online with combat tracker, battle maps, dice, notes, and rules reference, or use it solo as a GM screen.

Statblock Maker Pro is a free, always-online 5e D&D toolset with no account, no login, and nothing saved to a server. It covers the full prep-to-table pipeline: a creature/statblock maker and item maker (2014 and 2024 rules), a spell creator, a character creator, and a token stamp for VTT art. On the table side, the encounter maker and initiative tracker run combat live, with a combat difficulty calculator that shows 2014 and 2024 difficulty math side by side and a Monte Carlo battle forecast to sanity-check a fight before you run it.

Gamma World is a post-apocalyptic science fantasy roleplaying game created by James M. Ward and Gary Jaquet, first published by TSR in 1978. Over more than four decades the game has been rebuilt from the ground up seven times by nearly as many publishers, and the most recent overhaul came in 2010, when Wizards of the Coast released a stripped-down, card-driven edition built on a pared-back version of the Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition engine.  Where D&D sends heroes out to save a kingdom, Gamma World drops mutant scavengers into the wreckage of a shattered Earth to fight over technology nobody left alive still understands. Description Gamma World is gonzo by design. A character isn't built so much as collided into existence: two randomly rolled Origins get mashed together into one being, however little sense the combination makes ("I'm a Radioactive Yeti," to use the game's own example). From there, characters spend the session drawing from decks of mutation and salvage cards that shift constantly - the powers a character has at the start of a fight are rarely the ones they'll have by the end of it.  Combat is lethal and character turnover is high, so the game leans into its own chaos rather than fighting it: sessions play fast, tonally silly, and are built to be picked up and put down in a single evening rather than carried across a long campaign.

Omniarole is a simple world-building platform that runs in your browser on phone or laptop, so you can prep and play wherever you are. Players can use it too, to manage their own character sheets, synced in real time with the DM's campaign.

Roll the dice on something different at the Glasgow Tales and Tabletop Gathering. A brand-new weekend of interactive storytelling, tabletop roleplaying games, creativity, and community connection. Hosted at the accessible ACVC Hub, this two-day gathering is designed to welcome everyone, from complete beginners to experienced players into a friendly and supportive gaming space where imagination comes first. This is a space built around welcoming people in sharing stories, trying something new, and connecting through collaborative play. Throughout the weekend, volunteer storytellers and game masters will run a wide variety of one-shot tabletop RPG adventures, from fantasy and horror to mystery and cinematic storytelling experiences. Whether you’ve played for years or never rolled a dice before, there will be games designed to help you jump in and have fun. You will be able to book specific games at that point, we will also be managing a standby list. However, you can already expect a wide mix of tabletop experiences across the weekend, including classics such as Dungeons & Dragons and Call of Cthulhu, alongside a range of indie RPGs and narrative-led games. Sessions will be designed with both newcomers and experienced players in mind, with options suitable for complete beginners as well as more seasoned tabletop gamers looking to try something new. We will also have an open play area, demo area and some local traders. Tickets & Cost All sessions free to attend thanks to support from the Commonwealth Games Festival Fund and Glasgow Life. Donations are welcome and will help support the ongoing community and charity work of Critical Chance Collective, but there is absolutely no expectation to contribute financially.
