Hi there. I’m a pretty new player (M 26) who’s been looking to get into D&D for a while now. I’m honestly not too picky about systems, but I only have any experience with 2024 rules, which is essentially one session of a couple of level 1 scenarios at a learn-to-play event I attended. I’m unsure of what sort of materials someone new might be expected to have, but I have several sets of dice I haven’t gotten the chance to use. I understand an online hosted game would probably prefer to use the rolling mechanics on the platform, which is fair. I’m available on Monday and Tuesday evenings, with a slight preference for Tuesdays. I'm hoping to participate in a one-shot or two to get my feet wet. Also, so I can get used to whatever platform people prefer to play on. I'm okay with roleplaying, but I'd prefer the game not be too heavily skewed to either side of roleplay and combat. I'm good with Discord voice, but I don't have a working camera. LGBTQ+ identifying and friendly!
