Welcome to the Somnium Shard. A sundered paradise; knowledge, gods and power's all known throughout the land, its history coveted by lost tomes, cosmic knowledge and crazed minds. With earliest carvings detailing a different world that may have been the Shard's muse, the inspiration for reality. However not all could be replaced, and the world's panorama was in its own natural discourse, with the residents at home.
Hello and this is the introduction to my most recent open game for my homebrew world, The Somnium Shard. The game is a special edition of my normal open sandbox style that focuses instead on the undead and release of a lich. The theme of this game in particular is that of dealing with undeath and all of the horror and creatures that come with it. There is still a lot of room for your backstory, side missions and all manner of varying fun however the over-arching narrative is tied to this. As a sandbox, you are welcome to tackle this threat however you see fit of course as the world is open to you however with this pre-established major threat.
The game is beginner friendly and we are happy to help you get into the game and learn it,
For all the other details:
- We play on Roll20 and Discord
- Schedule: Weekly from 11pm UTC Sunday for 3-4 hours every session
- Cost: 18$ per sessions
- Starting level from 1-3 discussed with the full party of 5 once we start, we are waiting for a full group to hopefully see the game through with for as long as possible.
- 18+ As this game will involve alot of horror, undeath, afflictions and curses. I am however open to a discussion about a specific topic that you'd rather avoid, we can go over it.
