Description

Hello everyone! Thought it was about time I gave this LOTR themed tabletop RP a go :) This volume contains five adventures, to be played using the pre-generated characters provided in the set. While it is the intent of this game to let the stories unravel as 5 separate tales, It is possible for the adventures to be linked to make the story work even better! The stories are all involved with something happening in the "shire". But that in my humble opinion just limits the possibilities that the amazing fictional world of J. R .R Tolkien has to offer. Therefore I will be adding my own 3 additional stories to the mix, that will happen outside of the shire, and that will give you the middle-earth experience of a lifetime! And yes I will be using the books as references so if you are a hardcore fan you will either love this for it's theme, or hate it cuz I might not make all the things super-duper-mega-ultra accurate! WARNING: As a LoreMaster, I am under no obligations,(nor are you, the player) to take this seriously. This is not one of the "Stick to the rules, cuz the smart book tells us to" kinda campaigns. Quite the opposite, this is a perfect home-brew, dumb, silly and exiting game for any of you LOTR fans out there who are thirsting for more adventure! Now the big questions: where & when ? WHERE: Most likely this campaign will take place online due to the absence of a possible meeting place... WHEN: Ahh, as soon as we can start! In theory 6 characters would be best to have in order to play through these inviting stories, due to every character having either a unique set of skills, or possessing a quality without what the rest of the party will have a hard time beating the campaign. As of right now, I have planned the campaign to start at the end of July. This should give us plenty of time to gather the troops and rally our forces against this growing evil... Also we are gonna meet/play whenever it suits us all. there is no time schedule set for this campaign say, every Monday exactly at 12:34, new moons time, we must gather blablabla bla bla. Nah, we run the campaign how and when we feel like it! WHO AM I EXPECTING TO JOIN: Pff anyone really! But as a rule of thumb, you should consider the fact that most of the community is on the younger side of the spectrum, and with me being 20 myself, I would much rather not have people who are like 65+ or under the age where they can be left alone with matches for 3 minutes, join this campaign. This is just so that the more people of the same age group we have, the better are the chances that we will all get along, without leaving anyone out either from the jokes or just cuz. (Looking at you boomers...) So yes, there technically is no age limit, please remember, what I just formerly mentioned. DISCLAIMER: PLEASE HAVE A DISCORD ACCOUNT! Otherwise well um, unless u have a palantíri at your disposal, we cannot really connect! LINK TO DISCORD: Log in to view That's all folks! Can't wait to meet some of you brave adventurers out there!

The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.

Aquelarre - dark medieval fantasy RPG

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Im interested in finding 4-5 players, who would be interested in playing Aquelarre, which is a medieval demonic fantasy role-playing game.  Aquelarre is set in the Iberian Peninsula during the 13th and 14th centuries of the Middle Ages. Players take on the roles of normal humans who walk a fine line between living ordinary and legal lives of drudgery, or using forbidden magic to lift themselves out of squalor. For more information check out the wiki: information about the game I'm new to this game myself and as of yet there is no campaign. But for playtime I'm planning on creating a mini-campaign or just run 2-4 sessions of loosely tied adventures. Ideally sessions would take place on one fixed day during the workweek starting from 18:00 CET. The first session would be character creation as the game offers very unique backgrounds & professions and then also a mini-adventure to familiarise ourselves with the basic rules. If you are interested write to me here or on discord (mekaso).

LGBTQ+ friendly
The table is openly welcoming to LGBTQ+ players.
Hello everyone! I'm a DM with about 6 years of experience behind the screen (and occasionally as a player). I am currently looking for up to six players to join my table, whether you have plenty of previous experience or are a complete beginner to the hobby. Ever since the Dragon Cult’s terrifying attacks, the city of Volkenheim has been in complete lockdown. Nightly curfews, travel passes, heavily restricted spellcasting, the whole package. The High Magistry claims it’s all for our protection. And on paper? They’re doing a remarkable job. Ever since the wizards enforced order and became the city’s de facto sentinels, the chaos has vanished. The streets are quiet. Safer than they’ve been in decades. But absolute security comes at a price. When every step is governed by someone else’s rules, peace starts to feel a lot like a cage. Still, most citizens accept it. They call it a justified trade for safety. I might have believed that, too... if I hadn't accidentally stumbled onto the truth. The Dragon Cult isn't pulling the strings. The High Magistry orchestrated the attacks themselves. What to Expect: Heavy emphasis on roleplay, investigation, tactical urban combat, stealth operations, and morally grey choices.
