Description

Hey yall! I'm an experienced DM based in Italy, looking to bring together 4–6 players for a new adventure set in an original world within a larger multiverse I've been developing for years. I'm not looking for a party of strangers who happen to travel together because the plot requires it. I'd love to build a group of characters who already matter to one another. Friends, siblings, families, former/current lovers, rivals, people bound by oaths or shared mistakes. Relationships that can grow, deteriorate, heal, and genuinely influence the story. What I'm looking for Players who enjoy roleplaying, character development, emotional storytelling, and contributing to a shared narrative. You don't have to be an experienced roleplayer or voice actor. I'd much rather have somebody who's curious, kind, engaged, and willing to give other players room to shine. Each character will begin with meaningful connections to at least two other party members, developed collaboratively during Session Zero. I particularly value players who are interested in other characters' stories, not just their own. There will be exploration, danger, mysteries, and combat, but I want the emotional consequences of our decisions to matter just as much as the mechanical ones. Tone and boundaries Expect a world of old castles, haunted estates, beautiful and unsettling places, complicated people, and morally difficult choices. But also expect for the possibility of changing setting, based on the party's overall choices, preferences, etc. If there will be horror it will lean toward atmosphere, tragedy, psychological unease, and the supernatural rather than constant graphic violence. This is explicitly an LGBTQ+ inclusive table. Respect for other players and their boundaries is essential. We'll discuss content boundaries and expectations before starting. Nobody will be required to engage in anything they're uncomfortable with. A little about me I love building interconnected worlds, creating characters with their own motivations, and allowing players to genuinely change the direction of a story. Some of my favorite moments in D&D are the quiet ones: an unexpected conversation, a difficult reconciliation, a decision made because a character cares about someone. I'd like to find people who enjoy those moments too. I'm hoping to begin with a shorter story arc and see whether we want to turn it into something longer. Interested? Send me a Reddit DM with a short introduction, your time zone and availability, your experience with tabletop RPGs, and what appeals to you about this kind of campaign. I'd also love to hear about a fictional relationship, from any story, that you found particularly compelling, and what made it memorable. I'll arrange a brief chat with prospective players before organizing Session Zero. No first-come-first-served selection. I'd rather find a group with compatible expectations and good chemistry. Thanks for reading. I'd love to build something memorable together.

Hello there and thanks for taking the time to view this post!  We recently lost a couple of players and I'm looking to fill those spaces with like-minded players . I'm an aging DM who played a lot of systems back in the 90s like 2nd edition AD&D, Dangerous Journeys and Vampire. I've been back into 5th edition in the last 5 years. I love to write stories using my player's backgrounds as my muse.  No, I'm not the best DM but I promise you a good story, and good people. Who are we? * Mature group (30+) * We like RP and shenanigans * We offer a safe and welcoming environment * We are not power-gamers * We run 2 hour sessions every two weeks (though this may change if enough people agree) * We are not rule-bashers. We have all been DM's and support each others Who are you? * Mature and respectful * 21+ * Can do long term campaign * Has a PC and a decent internet connection * Someone that knows that vibe is more important than experience * We honour diversity and would love to hear from female players AI DISCLAIMER I have a full-time job and a family so I don't get a lot of time to write. I use a local AI LLM to perform mundane tasks (create a session recap from bulletpoints etc) and I also use Claude to spitball ideas. I do not use AI to generate art and I never used it to generate maps The story, NPC's and all creative decisions are my own and I love fusing the lore of the world with the backstory of my players. If you have any issues with AI (and I totally respect that), this is not the game for you. Campaign Here's a little about the campaign but there will be MUCH more info in the session 0. Of Gears and Gods is a homebrew D&D 5e campaign set in Eberron. Its first chapter, set in the quaint, port town of Moonwatch, is now complete. A band of strangers, brought together by a mysterious device called the Nexus, has survived drug-running gangs, a plot to turn the town's population against the warforged and a cursed crisis that almost turned the citizens into an undead horde. The next chapter is ready, and we’re looking for new players to step in, building characters with us who will shape what comes next. Huzzah!

Astral Drifters: Elemental Hunt

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Set sail and venture forth in Astral Drifters: Elemental Hunt! The campaign is set within the homebrew world of Astral Drifters, based on flying magical ships full of various adventurers exploring vast, exotic realms inspired by dnd's planes of existance. Here, you can find many interesting and unique enviorments, monsters, treasures and much more! If you're a fan of things like Treasure Planet, Planescape and similar stuff, you have found the game for yourself! In this game, you'll become an adventurer, scouting around the elemental realms to locate ancient artifacts - powerful remnants of a war between Gods from all the way back since the creation of the world. In the wrong hands, these could do much harm. However, harnessing their power will grant you abilities which can shape the world, for better or for worse. So get onto a ship, and set forth towards adventure! If you are interested, feel free to sign up, contact me on discord (EpicSpydi#1942) or check out the game's post on Startplaying! https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmvk1csbv000gl608638wa8k5 As for the technical details - there are some things still being figured out, or things which will be discussed once the group forms. However, we'll most likely be starting at level 3, and each player is granted a free starting Feat. In addition, any homebrew is allowed as long as I get to revise it and ensure it's balancing is fair. You can expect a mix of exploration, tactical and fun combat, in-depth roleplay, complex characters and much much more! Ultimately, the goal is to have fun together at the table, and to make unforgettabe memories :DD

Classic D&D5e Campaign

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
I am a DM who does not have enough active campaigns in their life, looking to get a new group going! CAMPAIGN I prefer to collaborate with the group when it comes to setting, themes of the story etc, rather than come in with something premade that you have to conform to. So beyond knowing that I want to run a classic High Fantasy game, we can work out the specifics together. LOGISTICS I live in London, England. I would love to find an in person group, but realise that is tricky so have set this to online. My ideal time for running a session is between 7pm-10pm GMT. If youre not in the timezone but can work with that, then thats great. Ive selected 'every other week' for now, but am again open to discussing that with the group. PLAYERS I am big into the RP side of D&D so ideally you will be the kind of player that really likes to get into that. You dont have to be good or experienced (complete newbies welcome!) but if youre more of a classic dungeon crawl person I might not be the guy for you. I would prefer to play with people in my age range (30-40) but if youre a little either side of that drop me a message anyway. A poor DM cant be picky.
