Check out the page over at StartPlaying when you're ready to get started! Check it out here! Have you ever watched an anime where an adventurer's guild gets introduced and then is completely ignored? Did you think to yourself, "Wow, wouldn't it have been cool if they'd actually done something with the adventurer's guild..?" Well, want no more! This will be an adventure structured around guild life, ranked missions, anime vibes, and the rule of cool. There will be a lot in the way of combat and plenty of opportunities to show off your build while exploring ancient ruins, ransacking big, custom dungeons, and probably being a menace to a corrupt government official or two. Inspired by modern and old school fantasy anime, alike (think Slayers, Lodoss War, and Berserk as well as DanMachi, Shield Hero, and Goblin Slayer). Everything will happen in a custom setting, on a continent called Mirth that has an epic apocalyptic backstory and a cast of exciting and eccentric NPCs to set up for epic campaigns. This game is welcome to anyone who wants to play Pathfinder 2e for the first time or the fiftieth. If you love Pathfinder's combat, awesome anime fights, and a touch of anime power fantasy, then you're invited to join the Mirth Hero's Guild. Come become the biggest, baddest dude in the room and then make sure everyone knows it! *** Play-by-Post is a low-stress, highly-rewarding format and I love helping people get a grasp on it. Do you want to join a campaign but your availability prevents you from committing regularly? Does engaging at your own pace throughout the week without the pressure of the moment and with consistent Gamemaster support sound like something you'd enjoy. Well you're in the right place! The Play-by-Post (PbP) format is nearly as old as D&D and is a rewarding way to engage in this fantastic pastime. While it is true that the comradery of the kitchen table is lost in PbP, you gain the ability to plan without pressure, to refine your roleplay, to research your actions. Many see Play-by-Post as more immersive than live games, that the Theater-of-the-Mind is more easily engaged without the typical distractions of the table. Expect 1-3 posts a day from me, during the week. That means mechanically or narratively significant posts that move combat and/or the story along.

Adult

Moth to a Flame β€” A D&D Campaign The first act of The Tales of Acaridian Wrath has ruptured amongst an elder reality, destroying everything and bleeding its corruption into ours. Acaridian is a simple world of fantasy but not at the mercy of its own chaos. We are set in the desert of Anibuah, a land of dune and scorching rays of heat and herds of vicious monsters, the land is threatened by orcs and elementals as the dragons slumber begins to break from chains beneath, a titan that must remain sealed and now our party is here in search for a lost relic, one which may prevent the titan from awakening, but first they must find the hall of judgement, where the elder god Judge had imprisoned Diablo the dragon titan of ages.. Moth to a Flame focuses heavily on: Exploration with rich worldbuilding, deep lore, high fantasy, cosmic horror and meaningful character progression. Evolving combats and boss encounters, as well as cosmic wonders and chances, the bigger the parties influence, the stronger the enemies. This campaign has a unique Homebrew Rune System, using charts to grant creatures runes based on words forming their own unique element with its own rarity and authority over other rune power. Runes is a massive concept for the Acaridian Series and is a great way to explore creativity. I use homebrew feats to impliment abilities and google docs for stats, its simple but it can be a little overwhelming at first, but trust me once your in the flow, its amazing. Important notes: We are LGBTQ+ friendly but we aren't sensitive friendly, if your not a fan of loudness, dark humor, etc, then i do not suggest you join our group Age span would prefer between 18-30 years old (Can make exceptions for older) I would prefer all members to have a flexible schedule for if we ever need to change dates, but mostly for when we decide to extend sessions We do NSFW themed roleplays and encounters, so if your not comfortable with that mixed with some dark fantasy, then please for your sake don't join haha Preferably be good at speaking english clearly And lastly, be able to operate dnd beyond, owlbear rodeo, and talk in call on discord The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-1:30pm In CST time i believe thats 6:30pm-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ LGBTQIA+ Friendly! 🌱 New Player Friendly! Deep in the jungles of the Mwangi Expanse lies the Magaambya, one of the oldest academies for magical learning in the world! For thousands of years generation after generation of students have sought knowledge here, and now it is your turn! πŸ§™πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ Magical Academy Setting πŸŽ“ The adventure will take you through the entirety of your academic career, possibly spanning decades. While you may be barely able to cast a cantrip, as you join as an initiate, by the midpoint of the campaign you'll have become a teacher yourself imparting what wisdom you have learned to a new generation of students. Of course, doing homework and grading exams is not all you will do. No, fairly early on in your stay at the Magaambya you will get wrapped up in a mysterious conspiracy. While at first you'll have to deal with a strange gremlin infestation or fight off giant insects, seemingly unconnected threats will start coming together, to reveal a far larger threat, not only to the school, but to the world! 🌳 Unique Location πŸͺ˜ The Mwangi Expanse, where the game takes place, is heavily inspired by African culture and heritage, which makes it distinct from the more traditional Eurocentric, medieval-inspired setting that most Adventure Paths present, giving it its own unique flair and flavor. 🎲 Full Level Experience πŸ“š Unlike most modern APs, the Strength of Thousands Adventure Path covers the full range from level 1 to level 20. Grow from humble beginnings to legends! βš”οΈ DEI Friendly ✊🏿 The Magaambya is a very inclusive place, and you will find all kinds of unusual creatures here. Ancestries like undead or artificial ones are welcome, as long as they play by the same rules that apply to everyone else. And even traditionally non-magical classes like fighters or rogues will have their place in the academy! 🚫 Comparison to that "other" magic school (you know which one) 🚫 This is not a place for children. Your characters are all adults, albeit young ones are quite possible. Yet there is no age restriction and quite a few students come to the Magaambya in their later years. It's also more akin to a university than a boarding school. Find out more and sign up on StartPlaying by clicking here!
