Join my new campaign/ already play-tested Welcome to Oregon State University, 1995. Home of the Beavers, Hard study, Parties, late-night pizza… and the occasional creature stalking the dorm hallways at 3 a.m. At first the strange events seem isolated — a missing tutor, fresh food turning rotten overnight, an attack in the science block car park, and rumours of something moving through the forests at night. But the deeper you investigate, the clearer it becomes: Something ancient is stirring beneath Corvallis and whisper in the dark speak of a rising Cult. You didn’t ask to become monster hunters — but you have seen beyond the mortal veil that protects society’s mind. Someone has to uncover the truth before the town is swallowed by whatever is crawling out of the shadows. And right now, you’re the only ones who believe the danger is real. The truth is out there-if you are brave enough to find it. What to Expect in This Game In this campaign, you will play students or faculty uncovering supernatural mysteries around **Oregon State University and the surrounding town of Corvallis. Each mystery will lead you deeper into a hidden world of strange events, forgotten folklore, and supernatural forces that most people refuse to believe exist. Players will: • Investigate strange disappearances and unexplained events • Explore eerie locations across campus and the surrounding forests • Interview witnesses and follow unsettling clues • Confront monsters and supernatural threats • Slowly uncover a much larger mystery hidden within the town Every investigation reveals another piece of the truth — and the deeper you dig, the more dangerous that truth becomes. Premise In the city of Archester, there has always been strange things hiding behind the mist of every corner in the city. However this time, the horror hides just by the outskirts of the city... an unsuspecting rundown motel that looks just like any of the other buildings in the outskirts that are unfortunately not important enough to be maintain by the City's governor or other major private developers. Legend has it that some of the guests that checked into the motel were never seen again... or stories of a cult living inside of the motel have also been heard... And the strangest thing is that just like any other rumour, this very motel seems to have been popping up at different corners of the city... Would you be daring enough to find out the truth of this urban legend? Details - Genre: Horror, Mystery and Thriller - Characters: Pregens Available / OCs allowed - System: City of Mist - Medium: FoundryVTT / Discord - Player Slots: (Looking for up to 6 players) - Day and Time: Most likely looking for around next week (Will update on this once I can get some interest on this) - Session duration: 3-4 hours

Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
A new in-person cinematic campaign using the ALIEN RPG system. If you like ALIEN, retro sci-fi or just want to try a new system then we would love to have you. Join the crew, Wayland-Yuntani offer great benefits. A survival horror style game in the ALIEN universe, following characters as they try to survive the machinations of mega-corporations, hostile alien life and each other. Mainly strung together scenarios from offical and community resources with a bit of homebrew to tie it all together.  The ALIEN ttrpg is a heavily stylised, cinematic ttrpg system focusing on atmosphere and story telling, focuisng on mechanics mainly when things get desperate. It aims to mimic the feel of the Alien movies. It offers a different style of play from other system that offers compelling beats with which to tell a tense and dramatic story at the table. The system can be has a higher chance of character death than something like D&D, much more similar to Call of Cthulhu, it is survival horror after all. We aim to create a fun, if spooky, storytelling game. This being said everyone should feel comfortable at the table. We will lay some ground rules for what people are ok with, and the GM does regular check in to make sure everyone is doing ok; and if a topic comes up that uncomforable it will immediatly be skipped. The aim to have fun first and foremost. Meeting new people can be a little daunting, so can new ttrpg systems, but we hope you will give it a try.  Exact Day and Location not yet decided, and will be dependent on player and availability.

*** PLEASE BE ADVISED - THIS IS A PAID GAME $20 PER PLAYER PER SESSION *** Eternal winter has claimed the far reaches of the North. The sun barely rises over the frozen tundra of Icewind Dale, and when it does, it offers little warmth—only pale light across endless snow, howling winds, and isolated settlements struggling to survive. In this land of creaking glaciers and half-forgotten gods, something ancient stirs beneath the ice. "Rime of the Frostmaiden" is a dark fantasy campaign of survival, mystery, and creeping cosmic horror, where hope is scarce, trust is fragile, and every choice echoes in the cold. This game is for players who enjoy rich roleplay, moral ambiguity, and character-driven storytelling alongside tense exploration and tactical combat. You’ll create heroes shaped by hardship—outcasts, wanderers, survivors, and seekers—each with secrets of their own. Your backstory will matter. Your bonds will matter. The frozen wastes will test not just your strength, but your convictions, forcing you to decide what you’re willing to sacrifice to protect what little warmth remains in the world. My tables emphasize immersive storytelling, vivid descriptions, and meaningful player agency. The world reacts to your actions. NPCs remember your deeds. Victories feel earned, and failure carries weight. Expect a balanced mix of investigation, social intrigue, wilderness survival, and dangerous combat encounters, with space for character moments and emergent storytelling. I favor cinematic pacing and collaborative worldbuilding, where player ideas help shape the evolving narrative. Above all, this is a game about standing against the dark—not because victory is guaranteed, but because someone has to try. If you enjoy bleak settings, deep character arcs, and uncovering terrible truths buried beneath the snow, Icewind Dale awaits. Bring a torch, trust your companions, and prepare to face the endless night. I use DIscord for VC and Roll20 for VTT where I have a huge library of content to choose from, both 2024 and 2014 5e Please have 3 character concepts for consideration. https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmlmsnjyt00n1l204tiqdpnis?ref=clnhpvkl2000klc08cu4sad0a
