System: D&D 5e (Heavily modified / custom toolset playtest) Setting: Low-magic, gritty high-adventure fantasy (Think Lord of the Rings, no sci-fi/superhero) Schedule: Weekdays between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM MST Session Length: ~3–4 hours per session (Frequency/day to be locked in with the group) Platform: Discord for voice + custom web tools. About the Game If you love the grounded, mythic feel of The Lord of the Rings and prefer narrative problem-solving over memorizing hundreds of spell cards, this game is for you. I am running a playtest campaign to try out some custom digital tools and streamlined mechanics I've been developing. As well as getting some of the many homebrew stories I have written out there. PLUS a custom magic system that focuses on allowing you to create/tweak your own spells... it is going to be great! Who I am Looking For Beginners & Rule-Agnostic Players: If you've never played D&D before or don't know the rulebook inside out, you are the ideal candidate. Because we will be tweaking and breaking standard 5e rules, you don't need system mastery only a desire to roleplay and explore. An interest in magic will also come in handy.
