🎲 LOOKING FOR D&D PLAYERS 🎲 Hey everyone! I’m looking for 2 to 6 players for a new D&D campaign set in my original world, Faendel. New players are absolutely welcome. You don’t need any experience with D&D. I’ve been a DM for 10+ years, I’ve taken 2 improv classes, and I’m also an experienced fantasy story writer. My goal is to make this fun, welcoming, and easy to get into, especially if you’ve never played before. 👥 2 to 6 players 🎲 5e based system 💻 Hosted through Discord 🗺️ Maps and visual aids 🤖 Custom bot generation for maps, character sheets, artwork and other resources we might need 📅 Saturdays or Sundays depending on everyone’s schedules ⏰ Extremely flexible scheduling 🌎 ABOUT FAENDEL Faendel is a world I’ve been building over the years through my D&D campaigns. The lore wasn’t created entirely by me. A huge part of Faendel’s history was created by the players who have participated in my campaigns. I’ve done the majority of the writing and brought everything together, but the players’ decisions, characters, actions and consequences have shaped the world itself. What your character does matters. Your choices can change characters, locations, history and even the future of the setting. Things that happen during your campaign can become permanent parts of Faendel’s lore. You aren’t just playing through a story I already wrote. You’re helping write the next part of it. 🌊 THE CAMPAIGN The campaign takes place during the Third Era of Faendel, around the years 570 to 580. Faendel is a world where the oceans have always been deadly. Something as simple as falling into the sea can mean death. Long ago, strange portals began appearing across the world, bringing people, creatures and entire civilizations from places that should never have been able to reach Faendel. Because of this, your character has a lot of freedom. You can be from Faendel, or you can come from another world entirely. Your character can be a traditional fantasy adventurer or something much more unusual. The portals have brought all kinds of people into this world. You’ll begin at your weakest point and grow from there as you explore Faendel, meet its people and discover why you ended up here. The campaign will focus on exploration, character development, player choice, combat and uncovering the secrets of the world. You don’t need to know the lore beforehand. You don’t need to know the rules. I’ll help you build your character and teach you everything as we play. 🎭 ONE SHOT OR FULL CAMPAIGN? This can start as a one shot. If everyone has fun and the party wants to continue, we can turn it into a full length campaign and keep building the story from there. There’s no pressure to commit to a huge campaign before you even know if you enjoy playing together. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 SESSION 0 IS COMPLETELY FREE Before anyone commits to anything, we’ll have a free Session 0 where we can: • Meet each other • Get to know me as the DM • Talk about what everyone wants from the game • Create characters • Go over the basics of D&D • Discuss the world and campaign lore • Talk about boundaries and themes • Figure out scheduling There is no financial requirement to play. If you enjoy the game and want to support me, tips are always appreciated and completely welcome, but they are never required. I’m currently going through some difficult financial circumstances, so any support genuinely means a lot to me. At the same time, I don’t want money to be the reason someone misses out on getting to experience D&D.
