Female DM looking for 1 more player who loves to roleplay, delve deep into lore and utilise rule of cool to join this epic multiverse spanning adventure.  This campaign will take you across multiple worlds - expect cyberpunk, steampunk, dragons, fairies and everything in between. You should expect meaningful roleplay, dangerous worlds and factions with their own motivations, morally grey areas and choices with consequences. The Multiverse awaits. Welcome to Quant, a sprawling, multicultural megatropolis built upon the skeletal remains of a forgotten deity. Existing at the exact crossroads of the multiverse, Quant is a free city that connects every plane of existence. For two centuries, the planar portals have been perfectly stable. But crossing them is a deadly gamble. For those not blessed with your gift, stepping into the chaotic energy of the Rift between space and time can mean horrific mutilation, massive time-jumps or - if you're lucky - death. Fortunately, you are Riftborn, blessed with the ability to traverse the planes - highly sought after by the rich and powerful. And on this most glorious of days, you have returned to Quant, for business, pleasure or maybe a bit of both. Either way, you're stuck here for the next few days as the city celebrates the founding of Quant and, as tradition dictates, the portals have closed for the duration. However, 200 years of planar stability is a fragile thing and there are many forces at play as the festival is in full swing. Your character starts off in the city before heading to the quaint town of Phandalinguided by a cast of fully voiced locals, you'll race against time to find one of your oldest friends and uncover one of the region's oldest secrets. In a slow burn mystery campaign with high stakes, every decision matters. Your choices could mean your name is sung by every bard from Icewind Dale to Baldur's Gate, or it could mean this mystery buries you as another forgotten story. Your time in Faerun doesn't end once the BBEG has been dealt with. The City never sleeps, and as a Moonlighter, niether will you! MOONLIGHTERS is a high-stakes Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in a fantastical version of the modern day. The players take the role of Moonlighters - part time adventurers who operate after dark. Are you a college dropout Elf? A pixie attorney specialising in Magic Item law? A gnome taxi driver? Whatever your reason, while the city sleeps, you Adventure! Players will form an Adventuring Party, working the Adventuring gig economy in the Big City. They'll choose from available jobs, meet wacky clients, and co-operatively worldbuild and expand on the city with the DM in the process. Will you stage an elaborate heist at the Museum of Villainy? Fix a Wizard Duel for a down-and-out gambler? Explore the forgotten catacombs of the public graveyard? It's up to you! If your single dad Orc is an accountant by day. maybe they'll notice some irregularities in the companies magical accounts. If they're an exhausted sound technician for a bratty DJ, maybe they'll have some connections to the shadier side of the city. During a Session 0, we will all discuss the general tone of the game the players are in the mood for. Player characters could all be friends fresh out of college, living out a coming-of-age Jon Hughes movie (with oozes and werewolves), a group of reluctant oddballs flung together in a workplace comedy, or desperate individuals just trying to make ends meet in a brutal, unforgiving city. The choice will be communal, and can always evolve with the narrative. I will discuss privately what each player wants to see, and what they never want to see in game. I'll make sure everyone is on the same page without drawing attention to any individual player's needs. The games is $20 per session via Startplaying.
