350 years ago, all dragons and clerics vanished during the Cataclysm. Now, both are back & the evil dragon queen Takhisis threatens the world with war --- The War of the Lance is just ramping up. Will you stand against the forces of Takhisis? Join at any point, war is hell and  we could all stand to fight against evil. The world of Krynn never fully healed from the Cataclysm. The clerics, dragons & Gods disappeared all overnight and left the world to rebuid. 350 years later, evil clerics, evil dragons & evil Gods rise once more to claim the land. You'll find yourselves wrapped up in this conflict, from attending an old friends funeral to marching with a military to stop this threat, your rise is dramatic, earned and awe inspiring. Face the threats of Ancient evils, dragons and politics as the war unfolds. Expect a mix of lore, combat, puzzles, roleplay and humour as you navigate the current climate. Whether you're discovering Krynn for the first time or returning to the world for something new - I will guide you through it all. Character creation through DNDBeyond, Party Composition and rules will all be covered in Session 0. FoundryVTT will be used for Maps, Music and everything else. Expect NPC Voices, curated music and a fitting atmosphere. Join me as I take you through my favourite D&D world, my very own special interest. --- Creating your character Character creation can happen in many ways: 📋 During Session 0 we can build a character together whilst we talk. 🐉 If you have a DNDBeyond sheet we can import it into the system. 📝 If you have a paper sheet I will re-create the character for you. 💪 Characters will be level 1 to start - Point Buy or Standard Array. 📕 Species and Subclasses from these books are permitted: PHB, MPMM, FTD, TCE, XGE, GotG, BMT, Forgotten Realms & The Module ⚡ Spells from all official books (barring Strixhaven) are permitted Creating a highly optimised or Min/Max build is highly discouraged. Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk New to D&D? Experienced adventurer? Either way, you're welcome at my table. Something is wrong in Phandalin. What begins as a classic adventure on the Sword Coast will take you from goblin-filled caves and dangerous wilderness to ancient ruins, strange magic, and secrets buried deep beneath the world. Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk is a campaign that starts with the beloved Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure before gradually transforming into something much stranger and more dangerous. And you get to decide how your story unfolds along the way. ⚔️ What to Expect 🎭 Roleplay & memorable characters Phandalin is filled with people worth meeting, helping, annoying, or occasionally punching. Your character's choices matter, and I'll give you plenty of opportunities to develop their story. 🗺️ Exploration & adventure Travel through the Sword Coast, discover forgotten locations, investigate mysteries and uncover what is really happening around Phandalin. ⚔️ Exciting combat Expect a mixture of tactical encounters, dangerous monsters, classic D&D enemies and the occasional fight that goes very differently from what you expected. 🧩 Mystery & discovery There is more happening beneath Phandalin than initially meets the eye. Strange events, missing people and mysterious forces gradually reveal a much larger threat. 😂 A relaxed table This is an adventure, but we're here to have fun. Expect serious moments, ridiculous plans, terrible decisions and the occasional natural 20 that completely changes everything. 🆕 New to D&D? Absolutely no problem. You don't need to know every rule before joining. Not every encounter is designed to be won by simply charging forward. Sometimes running away is the smartest choice. You'll face creatures that can genuinely threaten your party, and your decisions outside of combat can be just as important as your tactics during it. 🗺️ Exploration & Mystery Barovia isn't a linear dungeon. You'll have freedom to explore the valley, discover its secrets and decide which dangers you're willing to face. 🆕 New to D&D? That's completely fine. You don't need years of D&D experience to join.
