Phroller: Mobile-Native Cross-Platform VTT

Overview

A 3D VTT that won't kill your laptop/phone battery Offline enabled so you can use it as a companion app as well That's mobile native and offers seamless cross-platform play Yup, you heard me. Move a token on your phone, see it move on your GM's laptop. Roll a handful of dice on your iPad, see its results on your Steam Deck.

Platform

Native software: Native compiled code allows for optimizations that web based VTTs can only dream of. Touchscreen first development: Phroller was built for modern touch controls first. Use two fingers to resize/rotate images and control the camera. Better mouse, keyboard and controller support always in the works! No account required: Quick Zoom/Jackbox styled session hosting and joining. All shared assets are shared between the users directly. Offline prep: Phroller lives on your device. Images and Models saved to your collection are put into your own device storage and can be used without an internet connection! Battery life without compromise: I spent weeks optimizing for battery life to make sure the platform stops overheating even through my longest DnD sessions.

Gameplay

Collaborative GM-ing: Every user in a shared session could be given permissions to controls usually reserved for the GM. Ask your players to help draw a basic map, put decals on the board or even randomly place/control enemy tokens while you finalize stat blocks. You can do it at a real table, why not on a VTT? You can even share a revocable passcode with your players to give them full GM privileges! Delightful Physics: More than just delightful dice rolling, you can throw your tokens across the map too! Multi-level maps: easy to adjust level system lets you visualize and manage complex scenes featuring multiple elevations. With 3 different visualization modes depending on your needs [Side by side comparison of the three views] Customize! You can customize the style of the vtt grid, the dice trays, the UI, the dice and even fill any of them with as much custom art as you want. Built in access to several massive libraries of art and symbols to personalize every part of the platform!

Smart Drag and Drop

Current widgets available: Sliders and Counters: Perfect for health and resource tracking List and Tables: Great for attribute, skill, inventory and even turn order tracking! Notes: With support for tabs and images Drawings: You can doodle on the VTT too, but that’s shared with everybody. Why not also be able to doodle on your digital character manager? October Twilight

English
Horror
Apocalyptic
It's October 13th, 1999 and the world has ended. Someone, no one is sure who, let something into our world. A kind of infection or corruption that affects both the body and the mind. Animals, people, even mundane objects... all became twisted and unnatural. Some speculate it's a kind of demonic possession, others that it's an alien or even transdimensional biological weapon. In the end, it doesn't matter. The whole world fell apart, twisted from within. The survivors cling to their wretched lives in a fallen world, trying to comprehend the horrors and fend them off for just one more day. The world is in tatters, monsters roam around consuming everything they can, strange occult powers spread among the damned, and even the very air seems tainted. Perhaps the rapture happened and the survivors are being punished because they were found wanting. Perhaps this is some kind of strange terrorist attack from another world. Or maybe it's all nothing more than a cosmic accident, a tragedy of happenstance as something never intended for this world found its way in. Can you survive and fight off the horrors coming from within and without? Description October Twilight is a survival horror/dungeon crawler tabletop roleplaying game for 2 or more players. One player must take the role of the Game Master. This game assumes familiarity with other roleplaying games and so much of the basic flow of roleplaying is not explained. The game is meant to feel like a PS1/PS2 era survival horror game and a post apocalyptic survival game. Food is scarce, ammunition is scarcer, and everything is trying to kill you. In the game, your team has a safe house they come back to between excursions. The safe house lives up to it's name, being safer than exploring the ruins of the fallen world outside your door. But, you burn resources like food and water at the safe house and have to go out to find more. You'll never have enough resources to simply hole up and wait out the end of the world. Touchstones and Inspirations: Resident Evil, Silent Hill, The Walking Dead, Darkest Dungeon, and Evil Dead 2.
