Dungeons & Dragons 5.5E (2024)

Bi-weekly one-shots in Sydney, Australia [18 May]

Hail and well met fellow DnD-ers located in the Sydney, Australia area! I am going to be running regular DnD 5e/5.5e one-shots at Forestville RSL (22 Melwood Ave) in the Northern Beaches area starting Monday, 18 May, 2026. Games will run from 6-10pm every other week. Our first adventure is for level 2 characters and has a classic DnD feel involving goblins, dungeons, and exploration. Light on role play, heavier on combat. It's a lovely beginner-friendly module, so new players are welcome and encouraged! A maximum of 6 people per game -- currently at 6/6 players for this week. If interested, send me a message, and I'll provide the DnDBeyond link (if you'd like to add your character there; I'm also a big fan of paper character sheets) and character creation parameters. These sessions are free to play. Just be respectful to me, the other players, and the space. **THIS GAME IS AT CAPACITY**

I am a relative newbie to dnd ive been into dnd for a few years but ive only played a handful of times looking to play more Im open to playing any ttrpg not just dnd 22yo Male

Hi there, after a long hiatus due to the most dreaded villian in TTRPG (schedule conflicts) I'm really wanting to get back into the hobby and hopefully make some friends whilst I am at it. I'm 29m and live near Chatswood. Happy to play to whatever role is needed in the party and whilst I would prefer in person, online is fine by me.

Hey all! I'm Rachael, based in Sydney, Australia, but I moved here from the States about 3 years ago. I started playing DnD about a year and a half ago and have been playing the role of Dungeon Master for most of that time (mostly because I couldn't find a lot of places to play around where I live, and I wanted to play more DnD!). I'm interested in exploring and running other systems in the future, like FATE or Vaesen, but for now I'm focusing on DnD 2024. As a TTRPG-er, I'm more interested in story telling and the narrative rather than character builds or optimizing, and this is reflected in my DMing as well. Happy adventuring!

Tabletop gaming in Sydney

Sydney has a big, diverse tabletop scene spread across the city and its suburbs. Game stores, board game cafés, pubs and community spaces host regular campaigns, and there’s a game happening somewhere almost every night of the week.

D&D leads the way, with Pathfinder, Warhammer, horror games and indie RPGs all well represented. Many tables welcome beginners, so you don’t need to know the rules to start.

Cancon in Canberra, held every January, is within driving distance and well worth the trip for wargamers and roleplayers alike.
