You are disgraced imperial soldiers, blacklisted into the Auxiliary Compliance Unit: tasked with work that isn't dangerous enough to matter, just boring enough to be punishment. Tax collecting rural villages. Patrolling regions long since cleared of monsters. Serving as emergency contacts for emergencies that never come. However, fate might have other plans for you... This begins as a playtest (3–6 sessions) of ATTRPG, a homebrew system I've been developing for the past year. 5e/Pathfinder-inspired. Character progression is entirely narrative and organic. You grow through the choices you make rather than an XP bar. No two characters advance the same way even with the same builds. The system features a unique Mortality track where every brush with death leaves a mark, making combat genuinely dangerous rather than a numbers game. Deep customization through 10 ability scores, unique dice pool skills, flaws that reward you for playing broken characters, and class/subclass combinations that let you build exactly what you want. The playtest serves as a prequel. Your choices will directly shape the world. The main campaign follows immediately after with new characters; its story is tied to the prequel, but the details remain a secret until we get there. Roughly 40/60 combat to roleplay, depending on player choices. Roll20 and Discord. 4–5 players. 18+, microphone required. LGBTQ+ friendly, new player friendly. Immersive roleplay and combat that means something. Respect, communication, and showing up matter more than system mastery. Application Process: - Google Form.
